Market Street Pizza

If you want to eat it at home or if you want to eat out, this is the place to get the best pizza in town. The pizza is always the way I order it and the crust is delicious the ingredients are always fresh, and pizza is not the only thing on the menu. The staff is always polite and helpful and the owners are there working with the staff providing and efficient and great atmosphere. The owners are not just owners they are also part of the community and know that you as a customer are providing them a living. So the more customers that eat there, will allow them to put more back into the business and your community. My family and friends have been eating their for many years and still enjoy it.

I was actually just here to pick up an order for someone, since I drive for doordash, but the place was clean, nice and cozy feeling,and the girls at the counter were really nice, and friendly, and had smiles on their faces! They were real fast at getting my to go order out to me. It smelled really delicious inside! I never eaten here before, but I think I'm going into have to try it out!!

Our favorite pizza place in Redding, California. Have eaten there a minimum of 20 times. Prompt friendly service in person or by phone. We have dined in, done, takeout, and taken delivery.

Customer service was fantastic, pizza was amazing (and to me it reminded me of a small town pizzeria I lived near in my childhood). They also serve whole pitchers of beer! 5/5. Recommend to anybody. They even had gluten free pizza for my girlfriend (gluten allergy) and she thought it tasted amazing.

Best pizza in town, highly underestimated, and generally unrecognized. As a connoisseur and someone who makes it from scratch, I've tried every pizza in and around town and this is the best. A cheese bread that pairs perfectly with ranch, and pizza with a crust that crackles only the way great bread does.

Wow!! All my husband and I can say is.. why the heck did we wait sooo long to try this delicious pizza?! 🥲 Since Angelo's closed we have been looking for another vintage style pizza place.. We saw some good reviews, and decided to give Market St a try! BEST decision ever!! Their website is awesome and has a whole page of great coupons right there to use. Not to mention that for the amount of toppings, quality and amazing flavors, the prices were great! Our big test, (besides flavor of course) was what would it smell like when we opened the door to pick up our pizza... and guess what?! Our mouths started watering as we walked in the door. It smelled like a REAL pizza place from the 80's! They had a few video games and a claw machine, and the MOST delicious pizza smell ever! Yaaaaay! Then we saw our pizzas! Woo-Hoo! So many toppings!! We got home just dying for a bite and both pizzas were amazing! 👏👏👏 We can't wait to try the Lunch buffet next!! 😋😋💕💕

Passing through town and saw this place. The pizza was fabulous. Crisp crust with soft dough and the cheese was nice and stretchy. 10/10 will try and eat this again.

For the prices, the buffet pizza is above average, salad bar is classic. Service is full of awesome people. We went at about 4pm so understandably not many people. Looks like a good beer, pizza sports atmosphere for a good price. Will go back!

Update 10/12/2025. The owner made a good choice when hiring manager Michael. Today he went above and beyond and I appreciate that. Market Street Pizza and Deli is excellent in every way. The owner is incredibly kind and hardworking and the atmosphere feels like a true piece of classic Americana. Their all you can eat pizza and salad bar is honestly magical, fresh, delicious, and always satisfying. The prices are unbeatable for the quality you get both when dining in and when ordering delivery. The pizza is always top notch and the service is just as good. This place is a hidden gem. Do yourself a favor and try it today.

Had the Ranch Bacon pizza and it was delicious. I got the mini size (not too small at all!). Everything tasted fresh and just delicious. ASK FOR THEIR HOUSE MADE RANCH! it’s a must!!. Rick was incredibly warm and friendly, and made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be back.

My only regret is not going there sooner. Staff was very nice and the pie came out faster than we expected, and tasted amazing. Highly recommend this place, and will be our new "regular" spot since Upper Crust Closed. If I remember correctly, this was an Upper Crust in the early 90s and I have to say, the great food carries on a great legacy. Has to be the closest to the 80s/90s era Stuft/Upper Crust so far. Great job!

I called market street pizza talk to the owner. Apparently I was 3 miles past their delivery. He said no problem. I will deliver to you. I also got my second pizza for only six dollars. I had awesome service. This is the best pizza place in town.

Tonight instead of fries and a sandwich we tried the mozzarella sticks and the hot wings. Omgggggg I wish I had 2 orders lol they were the bomb. My bestie and I stopped in for dinner last night. I'm not going to lie and tell you that this place is beautiful. It's served as a place for families, sports celebrations and school parties... but the food is really good and the service was teriffic! It's definitely old school, and classic Redding. Worth the time to grab pizza and enjoy og style!

If you don't visit this place when passing through, you're really missing out. The 5 stars is well deserved for excellent consistency in quality over time and convenience for the customer. Pizza, salad and a drink are included in the meal deal all for less than 20 per person. Market St Pizza outperforms all the competition in the area in quality and quantity of ingredients, hands down. Will be returning for sure the next time I come back 💯

Got a meatball sandwich and a calzone, both were very good. Meatball sandwich was made on garlic bread and super toasty after being put through a pizza oven. Calzone was packed with toppings and the dough was flavorful with a nice chew, exactly what I wanted after getting off work. I had a to go order, but the vibes and decor of the place was very cozy and I can see myself going back for a sit down meal when I have more time. The smell of fresh pizza greets you as soon as you open the door, truly wonderful.

I guess he's the owner, idk, but the gentleman working there had exceptional customer service and right away made fresh pizzas according to our preferences! He was super kind, very helpful and made sure we had extra plates and utensils so we could feed our baby twins and 4 year old. Not only was his customer service exceptional, but his pizza is some of the best of the best in town!!! The crust beat most other pizza crust from other pizza places in town!!!

It's cool when we get a chance to go it other customers come in to order or pick up he usually talks to them by name. Great customer service. Their was a kids team in there and he was friendly to the parents and kids. Best Meatball Sandwich around !!!

Service is awesome! I asked for a slight change in our combo and they didn't charge us for it. Pizza is great if you get under 3 toppings, otherwise it doesn't get cooked right and you end up with spots that are too crunchy or soggy. I don't blame them as I think the oven is on the way out? Otherwise, the crust is great, the sauce has actual taste, and they use real cheese. Definitely better than a lot of the pizza places around Redding. Price is average and not like Mary's where it is through the roof.

Good pizza, great all you can eat buffet. I've been going here since I was a very little kid. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because they could use a little remodeling. Other than that good pizza and a good place to have team parties.

Stopped here on a road trip. Staff was great very helpful. Ordered meat lovers pizza. Small size was too big for one. I should have ordered the mini. Very good flavor. The homemade ranch is great to dip your pizza crust in. Enjoy.

Tried for the first time last week and it was good. The owner was very nice. Probably the best pizza in Redding, super toasty not soggy. Love their homemade ranch. The inside of the place is a little outdated and dirty kind of gives you the ick. We got take out this time pizza is great as always. But the white lady in her 30's could definitely benefit from learning better customer service skills. She was very rude and had an attitude when my husband asked questions.

I'm afraid that I totally disagree with the positive reviews. After reading them before we came to Redding, I thought we were going to have a great experience. We ordered the veggie pizza and dined in; yes the pizza crust was OK, but the huge amount of uncooked mushrooms piled on top of the cheese made it the weirdest pizza I've ever had. We left over half of the pizza, making it an expensive and unpleasant visit.

Food: This is a pizza restaurant with other items available on the menu. We ordered two small pizzas, so I can’t speak to the other offerings. The pizza is average, with the sauce being on the bland side. The homemade crust is decent, though. The toppings were fine, also. Service: Unfortunately, two of the plates we were given had dried-on food on them; same with a fork we had. (This is the main reason for the two-star rating.) I should mention, though, that the lady who took our order was very friendly. There weren’t a whole lot of customers when we were there, but it seemed like it took longer than it should for our two small pizzas to be finished. There may have been some to-go orders ahead of ours, so I’m willing to give them the benefit of a doubt on that. Atmosphere: Cleanliness affects atmosphere, and unfortunately, the dining area needs some work in that department. The carpet seemed old with lots of stains. There were cobwebs hanging from a couple of the ceiling lights. There were other maybe nitpicky things, but those were the two I noticed right away.

This has nothing to do with the delivery and everything to do with your business. It took them less that 15 mins to deliver. A pizza should not be cold in that amount of time in 110* weather.
