My family and I just visited Sweeties Cafe for the first time and I’m highly impressed! This is a family owned business and for that I’m excited to say if you eat here you’re going to taste the love in the food. Tiff the owner prides herself in her food and you can taste it! It feels like you walked into her home and she cooked a meal for you with love! I ordered the Brandy creek chicken and it was delicious!🤤 We ordered a peach cobbler and that was knocked out of the park. We’re visiting two days in a row we enjoyed it so much. We enjoyed talking with staff as it makes it feel family friendly and not someone just there for a paycheck. I highly recommend trying Sweeties cafe out! I really enjoyed the social factor of our visit and can’t wait to go again! Do yourself a favor and go get those taste buds some love! Happy eating fam!!

The food is freaking amazing. Deep smoked flavor but not overpowering. Soft warm bread on our sandwich. The meat was soft and delicious, cooked perfectly. The wait staff were all amazing and friendly. Everything was perfect to us. We definitely are glad we stopped in. We enjoyed the experience.

Really a gem of a diner. They have prep cooks for their smoked meats and other dishes. The waiters are great, especially Samantha. The food is sooooo good. If you're from a city, Sweetie's does "farm to table" without all the pretense and expensive dishes--but with the incredibly delicious and flavorful food. Definitely stop here whenever you're in Redding.

I enjoyed coming here. Reminds me of the comfort of restaurants from the 60’s and 70’ were . I really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. It’s the closest food to how I grew up with. The employees are friendly. It’s across from the mission that helps the street people. One or two were in cafe and they were treated respectfully. I love seeing kindness in action. The environment of this business is endearing.

Our first Sweetie's was dinner last night. Excellent food and great service. We both had the smoked pork ribs and the 4 bones option was plenty. With 2 sides, we were fully satisfied. No room for dessert. Very good value. And yes, the ladies serving were fantastic. The music was great. Being a later boomer, the rock music variety was perfect. And one can talk and still be heard. Today we try breakfast!

Food was good, don't order the chili fries, the chili is terrible. But the burger was great. Staff was friendly. No big wow factor but a good dinner feal.

I wish could give more stars as the waitress was friendly and attentive. However the food was not so good. I had the pork chop that was dry and overcooked, the bake potato had apparently been in the warmer for quit awhile as it had a crust on it. Another person in our party had the ribs that were less then tasty.

Good place to eat for breakfast and lunch. Sweeties is a classic Cafe with a long history serving the local community. Three stars as the table was sticky and conflicting signs of staff not being happy. When staff has issues, the quality for the customer experience suffers. The owner of this business cares and I'm confident a future visit might turn from 3 stars to a higher rating. For that to happen, staff needs to up their game, provide customers a wonderful experience, and make sure cleanliness is handled appropriately.

Food is low quality/basic. Upcharge for absolutely everything.. charging for lemon water..? Really? Microwaved Roast Beef was basic sliced lunch meat quality. Frannie or whoever was our server was incredibly rude and condecending when asked why our bill was so astronomically high. Was charged $5 extra for bacon on country potatoes. When questioned why it was so expensive she said its because its an entire serving of bacon, which on their menu is 4 whole slices for that price. There is NO WAY there was 4 slices of bacon in my potatoes. Also took our ketchup bottle to give to another table, rather taking a ketchup bottle from an empty table. Bizarre service. She kept saying "Awww" very condecending everytime we asked about something on our bill. Will never eat here again. What a shame as I was the one in our party who chose this resteraunt over the many other reputable establishments in town.

Terrible catering service! - 1 Food was EXCELLENT! Perfectly cooked, quality items, Once there EXCELLENT service. I would recommend trying this restaurant.

My friend and I both paid with credit card ( same color of card) waitress brought back our receipts and my friend dinner was charged on my credit card and hers on mine. Talking to the owner and she told us my friend and I would have to work it out between us, as We were given the wrong credit cards, and didn’t discover until we got to our separate homes!!! Plus and this is the kicker, we were charged for extra gravy @$2.99 as there wasn’t hardly any on the potatoes, when this was their thanksgiving dinner, BUT for “one slice of lemon” for our water at .25 cents. Unheard of. We will not be going back to such an unfair place. The owner actually hung up on our conversation and to deal with it!!
