Have started and ended a number of rides from this location - sure, it's convenient, but the owner's genuine nature and the selection of libations (including NA options) are what really sell this place. There is a lot happening in downtown Redding right now, with a lot of "new" bars (cider house, a sommelier backed wine joint) that have ALL come into Westside to, at least as best I can humbly tell, try to copy and attempt to tap into what Zach has going on here. But there is no substitute for the original and passion that is put into a place like this; imitation is not only the sincerest version of flattery, it is a stark accentuation of something unique, special, and valuable. That exactly what Westside is. Don't miss out on this joint.

This mother-daughter duo wine bar is super cute. Very trendy, simple decor. Lots of seating options. They have beer and wine so there is something for everyone. Love how the wine was displayed. Charcuterie board was delicious, and they had gluten free crackers! They were very knowledgeable, especially about wine from Northern California.

Great atmosphere, the BEST place in town for pizza. Great bevs. 10/10 recommend!! We had the chicken, bacon ranch pizza and the pepperoni pizza… To die for! Ingredients are fresh and elevated. We will absolutely be back for more! Locally owned and operated too!

Westside Tappan Cork is one of Redding, California’s most beautiful locations. In the up-and-coming, newly redeveloped downtown area, a young bartender named Seth and a local patron, Andy—who clearly has a lot of love for the owner, Zach Shea—helped guide me to the perfect IPA. I highly recommend this establishment. Bring your dog, your cat, your iguana—everyone’s welcome here. It’s a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, where the vibe is best enjoyed by those who come to share good energy and community spirit.

What a cool place to grab a beer or glass of wine. A chill atmosphere that wasn’t pretentious. Did not try the charcuterie board but if I can make my own I’ll try next time. Good selection of beer on tap and wonderful bar tender. Will most certainly be back. Highly recommend trying this establishment.

Boogie Bingo was so fun. The atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. It was the perfect day to have their windows open. The pizza was delicious with a thick crust that was fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. 10/10 would recommend.

This mom/ daughter team are so amazing. They strive to bring in new wines and pair them with some great apps! They even have a homemade dessert available that u can pair with a wine! They are sweet and so accommodating. This is our new favorite wine bar!

The service was amazing, the wine is SO good, and the vibe is stellar - such a great place to get together with friends, play a game, and enjoy a beautiful evening! All of the wines are vegan which was awesome!!

This place has the best beer north of Sacramento (and occasionally, even better based on the concentration of freshness and quality from northern California's best craft brewers.) Zach takes his beer seriously, and his selection is never slouch. Adding to the vibe is also the area's best sourced wines (highlighting Sonoma County and lesser-known-but-sommelier-and-Michelin-star-approved varietals) and a hearty selection of imports (e.g., a brut a mere 5km outside of Champagne; sure, it's technically "not," but you do the math) and a smorgasbord of interesting and delicious snacks (that I've never felt overpriced, despite some reviewer's take.) A final note worth making is Zach also curates the best non-alcoholic beers; I may be in a minority that thinks this is important, but Zach sees the importance of catering to a crowd that doesn't always need or appreciate the deleterious effects of alcohol, but still enjoys the crowd and flavor. The short take away is this: this iteration of Westside Tap and Cork (some older, negative reviews reference a prior owner or a misguided focus on wine over beer - trust me it's balanced) is a true gem. It is exactly what this rugged gem of a town in Upstate California needs. Don't miss out on this place.

The best beer and wine bar in Redding. Zach and Seth keep a great selection of both behind the bar and never stock anything the wouldn't drink themselves. 5pm to 6pm power hour is also the best happy hour in Redding!

Fantastic atmosphere here! Went on a Saturday night...comfortably busy. Nice group of people, without being crazy. Really nice selection of local beers! Didn't sample the wines, so can't attest to that side of things. There are a fun assortment of games to play, and we played Yahtzee. Great place to be able to have some delish beverages in a great atmosphere! Would definitely recommend!

Went here a couple of weeks ago with my wife and a couple of friends. I'm not sure exactly what I was looking for but this didn't meet any expectations of mine, they had no food, they were out of multiple beer options. Just wasn't for me.

Beware of the bartender who will pull a switcheroo on you. We came for their wine tasting. Without telling us she poured a different wine than was on the list. Fortunately, we know our wines and could immediately tell the difference. The owner apologized eventually. They replaced the offending glass only when we asked for it, too!! The 1-star is for the server who sat us and gave us a glass of water and the menu. And who had the burden of telling the owner and bartender that they were outed. Brave person.
