Definitely a "hidden gem" in Redlands. Great vibe. You can't lose with any dish that you chose. Impeccable customer service. Also, try the Hibiscus Margarita!

Brilliant shrimp and Mahi tacos! Hey, it's a Lenten Friday and I want stellar food; not boring fast food, and I was rewarded for my quest! Even the parking was smooth! It was karma the find such a gem.

Blood orange, Mezcal margaritas are fantastic. Food is delicious! This was our second time at the restaurant and we went back over the weekend specifically for the Margaritas.

Awesome atmosphere! I only gave it 4 stars because seating for dining is very limited. Had the filet minion tacos. I wasn't too fond of the carmalized onion. It masked the flavor of the meat. Also tried the fish taco. Really good portion flavor was on point. The highlight of the meal was the street corn. Definitely recommend coming in just to try it 👌

Have come here a few times since they reopened and is so much better! The food is solid, fish tacos, chimichurri chicken and everything Ive had is good so far. All the drinks are good too! The standouts would be the tacos, salads, ceviche, chicken and short rib. The chips and salsa are great, the chips are always warm!

There's a DJ jamming away....plays good music. But their food is what takes it away. I had the Queso Fundido and Birria cheese tacos. You will absolutely love them. Love the ambience! Definitely recommend this place.

I was looking for a nice place to have a drink & some food in downtown Redlands, came across Don Orange, a soon as saw the place i like the vibe, the music, & decorations, The mezcal cocktails are really good, i got a smokey blood paloma , the aguachile is good , like the jicama so something different, my second drinks was recommend by kendra the waitress a very delicious “ passion fruit mezcal mule 🤌🏼🙌🏼 and to end i got the 2 chipotle shrimp tacos, 🍤 with some rice 🍚 & 🫘 like the place definitely coming back

First time here. We live in Palm Springs. Third summer here in the Coachella Valley. Second time checking out Redlands. Charming town. We sat at the bar and Noah amazed us with his bartender skills. So fun to watch him mix drinks. We had the passion fruit mule and the blood orange mezcal cocktail. So delicious and well crafted. My friend and I shared the ceviche. So good! Thanks to Ashley behind the bar too! And, Kevin the manager. He was so knowledgeable about everything. Met Benjamin the owner too! Great people. Great place. Can't wait to return. Thank you!

Here for the first time. The wall decor was spectacular and very spacious restaurant. We were given directions from a little boy whom appears to scout lost customers. He did an incry job walking us to the restaurant. The food tasted incredibled and authentic Mexican with a few added flavors. The waitress, Karen, was extremely attentive and constantly checked on us This is definitely a restaurant I am willing to come again and keep eating the delicious food. Great job!

So for those of us in the IE that miss the L. A. Good vibes dining scene, here it is. Don Orange Tacos has got it down. Prime location at the start of the downtown strip, Don Orange stands out. Great speakeasy meets Dia De Los Muertos decor and a great disco/house mix playing in the background sets a very chill mood. The food was so good, fresh, and refreshing. I ordered the Ceviche and Aguachile. The ceviche had the right amount of citrus flavor, crisp onion and the spice from the serrano pepper all mixed together and served with crunchy seasoned tortilla chips. Every single bite was better than the last. The Aguachiles is made in a similar fashion but with a higher spice level provided by the sliced jalapenos and a spicy citrus sauce. The bartenders were serving up some beautiful looking mixed drinks and were very attentive and friendly. Great spot and atmosphere. Will certainly be back.

Visiting from out of town and our group decided to eat here. We were not disappointed! Everything we had was delicious. I highly recommend the cheesy birria tacos. Honestly, the 3 tacos are so filling. You don't even need the rice and beans. The street corn appetizer was amazing! The chips were warm and the salsa was just the right spice. The only bummer was no free refills on my tea. I also loved the day of the dead decor!!

A

The food here is incredible, and the service is excellent. The drinks are delicious and well made. I recommend the Paloma and Passionfruit mule. I have patroned twice during the afternoon on weekdays when it was quiet, and only three or four tables were occupied at the time.

It was me and my fiance's first time coming here and it didn't disappoint. It was a bit of a wait but worth it and they apologized. We started with the Borracho Fries they were amazing. Then my fiance got the Shrimp Tacos and I got the Cheesy Birria Tacos both were really good. Highly recommend the Sandia Fresca! Chips and salsa were also really good going back soon 👍🏻

I had the queso birrira tacos and he had the fish and chips honestly the fries filled us up I had a few bites on a taco and it was game over for me! Absolutely over all a must try place ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for ambience and ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ food ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ service. Even tho it was $80 for just 2 people it was worth the experience for my special day!

Don Orange Contempo Tacos and Tequilla, located in the historical city of Redlands,California-is a great place to experience a terrific selection of neuvo cuisine tacos and top shelf craft Tequilla drinks and cocktails. The restaurant has 2 entrances front and rear-we came in through the festive and colorful umbrellaed rear "Orange Alley" entrance to the restaurant.(see pictures) Super clean retro old brick and natural wood floors, sparkling clean and inviting. Loads of interesting taco dishes-we had the chateaux briane,Tika masala and chicken tacos, chips and salsa. The salsa was tasty and not overly spicy-they have several. Service was excellent, food was delicious and prices were consistent with a restaurant venue in a location such as downtown Redlands . You'll enjoy the vibe and the visit to Don Orange Tacos!

My favorite place in downtown redlands!!!! Even during these restrictions with covid, they have amazed me! Outdoor dinning is pretty awesome! I hope they keep it this way in downtown redlands, the atmosphere is perfect. Great food, my is their cheesy tacos!!! And boracho fries!! Their drinks are good too!!! Definitely recommend you come down for a visit, I also ordered my favorite shrimp tacos, usually there on a soft taco, but i dont like mine made that way, I asked our waitress to see if the cook would do a special order and make the tortilla crunchy like the hard shell, and he did

Trendy restaurant right in downtown Redlands with delicious food and drinks. Service was great and quick. I had the cheesy birria tacos, side salad with citrus vinaigrette, and the smokey blood orange cocktail. The tacos were crispy with melty cheese and that consomme was so rich and perfectly balanced with the limes. The salad was fresh and light. The cocktail was indeed smokey but also refreshing with a hit of tartness from the rim garnish. All in all, great meal out after a long day of work.

Awesome place! Came here after a 5 hour tattoo session at Ink and Ivy and it was exactly what I needed. It was jamming for a Saturday night with lots of people on the waitlist, but with just two of us the host snagged us a spot almost immediately in the bar area. Service was incredible, birria tacos perfect, and perfect atmosphere. Must stop when in Redlands!

I used Yelp to find a Mexican Restaurant in Redlands. My criteria was Mexican Restaurant and craft cocktails. Don Orange was one of the choices offered. I explored their menu and saw that they offered a Mezcal drink named Blood Orange. Although their food menu is not extensive, I did like the options they offered. I made a decision to have lunch there today. My wife and i were greeted by a very pleasant and upbeat waitress. I ordered Chicken Enchiladas. She ordered Ceviche. We shared a side order of chips and salsa. (Two orders of Blood Orange, too.) I was impressed by the decor and design of the restaurant. It has a large bar and those dining surround it. It is rustic, but with character. Definitely a place that is more trendy than the usual decor and design of sit down restaurants. The chips and salsa were fine. The chips were warm as if they had been fried there. The salsa was clearly made from scratch. The drinks arrived and they definitely impressed. Well presented, tasty, and with a kick that you don't notice until the very end. The Blood Orange is a solid drink. The chicken enchiladas impressed me. Well cooked, tasty, the dark brown, red sauce resembles mole, but it is not mole. It is better than the usual enchiladas served by traditional Mexican restaurants. The ceviche, too, was extremely tasty according to my wife. The only drawback is that it's a small portion. So, you might treat it more as an appetizer than an entree. I left impressed with this dining experience. We're due to return for the annual Mission Inn Holiday lights. We will definitely have our dinner at Don Orange before going to the holiday lights. i recommend Don Orange. I believe you will like ti as well.

I had such an amazing experience here!! Bestie and I decided to have a last min bestie date and ended up picking this location since we’ve never been and it exceeded our expectations! It was between Don Orange and The State but I’m so glad we went with Don Orange. You can tell Armando and Sabrina really take pride in their work and LOVE it. The drinks are amazing, the food was delicious, and the crème brûlée dessert was to die for. Sabrina also whipped us up a last minute coffee that was sooo freaking good. I would literally come here just to pick up a coffee before work if I have extra time. I felt like Remy’s brother in Ratatouille when he ate the cheese and the strawberry together and had those flavors dancing around all over his mind. I’m definitely coming back just for Sabrina and Armando alone. Pleaseeee ask for them. They’ll take care of you!

Went to the bar at 10 PM. Got instant service, there was at least 1 seat available at the bar. They close at 11 PM on the weekdays. The vibes are great, the service is great, the menu and options are extensive. The whole place smelled good (I have poor olfactory ability). Overall, I recommend. It's slightly more expensive than next door but if you're ordering drinks it's not by much. Try this place and try the Next door "The State" and decide which bar you like better.

Oh my goodness, the Jalisco watermelon, lime Margarita was so refreshing and delicious! I had the gluten-free lobster enchiladas, and they were so yummy! The only negative I would have is that maybe it was a tad salty. My waiter, Jimmy, was fabulous, friendly, and attentive. This is the third time I’ve been there. Love it. Great place to sit outside and watch Redlands go by if you prefer not to be inside where it’s a bit louder.

Beautiful first experience here for a lunch date. We ordered the popular choices; Birria tacos, and Chicken Enchilada plate entrees. For the appetizers, we got the empanadas. -Im a person that dislikes sour cream, but their fresh crema was absolutely heavenly. It seamlessly bonded every flavor together. My partner ordered an old fashioned, which he described as "the best one he's ever had." With fresh orange zest it was aromatic and filled the table ❤️‍🔥 I ordered a Shirley temple, which was also made with fresh fruits! Our server was exceptional, as she gladly walked us through the menu and even offered her opinion on dishes we asked about. We grabbed an order of churros on our way out, too. They were perfect. I loved the time I spent here and will absolutely be returning.

I love coming here for casual drinks and dinner with my friends. The atmosphere is very nice and adds a great vibe when enjoying drinks and having a good conversation with friends. The food is amazing overall. The only thing I ever returned (mind you I have only 1 other occasion in my life returned a plate) was the braided rib plate. Definitely just a no. Completely threw me off but the birria tacos and consome, amazing! And healthy portions for all us big backs. The potato tacos are my go to. So fresh and delicious. They took a simple dish and elevated it for sure. The mango martini has my heart. I can drink quite a few and they definitely hit the right spots. The wait could get a little long but the shops next to it help alleviate that. You can go shop and get a text when your table is ready. Servers aren't always the best but most have been pretty courteous.

Dinner at Don Orange was special. This is not the place to go for a quick bite or budget taco - this is the place for a carefully cultivated dining experience. We enjoyed chatting with the restaurant owner at length during dinner, learning about his past and about the guiding thoughts behind Don Orange. The tacos were good, and the corn dip was excellent. Everything tasted fresh (and we were told that the restaurant has no freezer - most food is turned over within 24 hours), so the relatively high price of the tacos was easier to swallow. It's a neat spot with a fun vibe, and definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Beautiful restaurant, but the music made it hard to hear the conversation. We were there for Happy Hour and the server forgot the order of someone from our party. Plus he got my flautas order mistaken for a drink. Probably due to the volume of the music. The flautas was good. We shared the elotes corn appetizer. Enjoyed the company. The server was honest and told me the tip was already included. I really appreciated that. I know in Denver, the server at the Elway steakhouse didn't share that information to get a higher tip. Thank you for being honest. We need more servers like him.

Really good food, nice little touches that make each dish special. Cocktail menu is excellent. Fun drink names and great tequila based cocktails and margaritas. Restaurant is clean and very nice. Open to the street and very nice. Kitchen is viewable through windows wich is cool and has access to the alley through corridor. Staff is very friendly and service is good.

This past Sunday I came for Brunch with a friend. Gorgeous restaurant in the heart of Redlands. Our server Kendra was ABSOLUTELY on top of her game! We started with Ceviche and Mimosa's... then came decadent Cinnamon French Toast topped with Strawberries and served with dulce de leche sauce that was OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD!! BTW they do not have bacon or syrup - so don't be a ditz like me and ask about it *wink, wink. Honorable mention to the Avocado Toast that was delightfully light. Be aware this place is LOUD the music and the conversations around you. If you want a romantic dinner or brunch... I wouldn't suggest it, unless you don't care that your date can't hear you. The interiors have a trendy vibe going on fo sho. I parked in the free covered garage as the temperatures yesterday were over 100+ though they do have street parking on State. We'll definitely return to try out other Num nums.

First time eating here. For starters, we ordered the trio dip along with a Mango cart draft beer. The trio dip is a basket of tortilla chips with a side of guacamole, bean dip with a type of red oil on top and red salsa. All of it was delicious. I thought the oil on the bean dip would be overpowering making it difficult to eat by being too oily but it was very good and I didn't taste the oil as much as I thought I would. The red salsa was very good as well. We ordered Baja tacos and shrimp tacos then shared the tacos. The shrimp in the tacos were good but a little chewy. The Baja fish tacos were very good. Both tacos were garnished and had a type of medium spicey aioli which was very good. The tacos came with a small bowl of rice and beans (pinto or black) your choice. I chose pinto. Our meal was around $18 for the plate. Our total bill along with 4 drinks was just over $100 for the two of us. I'll let you decide if that's a bit high or reasonable for what was ordered. I enjoyed our food but it wouldn't be a place I would choose if someone suggested Mexican food for lunch or dinner.

This new restaurant has a great Mexican themed and ambiance. I love the open-air feel at the front of the restaurant. The food was pretty good with some interesting fusion interpretations of Mexican food although everything is a little overpriced. The drinks or excellent especially with the make your own margarita option. The make your own michelada is a really good option as well. Although this place is new the service was a little chaotic being that we got our food before we got our drinks. We might return as more of a hangout spot for drinks rather than to eat next time.

Tom Windeknecht

A great first impression! The atmosphere is very nice and welcoming. Everything is clean. The service was friendly and responsive. The food was delicious! If I could change one things, it would be to drop the prices a little bit. In my opinion, it was a little pricey. I would definitely go back though!

Outstanding but expensive. I’ve enjoyed stopping by a few times. $3 tacos are quite steep but always high quality and served with care. Appetizers are nice and inventive and fun. Salad dressing was more than a little bland and wanting. One thing I found missing across the board on the menu is spice - where’s the hot stuff?? I liked the aguas frescas a lot but have been disappointed with inconsistent attention to detail on these $5 drinks — once They came with yummy salty sour tamarind topping on the rim of the glass. The next it was served like a standard pop. Music is WAY WAY WAY too loud, difficult to have a conversation over the thrum. Wish I could give 3.5. Food is too good to give them a 3, so 4 it is.

I was a bit skeptical of this place due to it being in Redlands. However I was proven wrong that it doesn’t matter where the location of eateries are it’s all about the people that work there. The food was amazing. I was really impressed and the staff was very kind. I had the quesobirria tacos with consomé. Damn you will want to go back and eat more. Great food but their drinks do need some work. Their michelada was bad lol probably worse one I’ve ever had. Will be my go to spot to eat only.

V
Vanessa Vargas

Was a good experience minus the service. Lol service was slooow. We got there just before thw dinner rush. The staff seemed chaotic and stressed. Took 20 mins just to get drinks and appetizers came out before drinks. Only 2 out of 6 were alcohol. So why it took 20 mins just to get some sodas, idk. The food was great and filling. But the meal descriptions were confusing. And over priced. If im going to pay 30$ a person, at least give me some serviceeeee. Took forever for us to get the waiters attention just to get boxes and the check. We couldve walked out so many times. Was there to celebrate my moms 65th bday.

Don Orange Mexican Food in Redlands was a great find. The fajitas were excellent—served sizzling hot, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked with tender meat and fresh veggies. You can tell they don’t cut corners in the kitchen. And don’t skip dessert—the churros were outstanding. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and just the right amount of sweetness. Easily some of the better churros I’ve had locally. My only critique is wish they had more food options on their menu. As a connoisseur of Mexican food the limited options on the menu was a bit disappointing. Friendly service, solid portions, and food that delivers. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE train your service staff more!!!! Without fail every time myself and my family have come here the service is awful. Very very inattentive and they disappear for for 5,10,20 minutes. This has happened across 6 or so visits, different days different crews and it has all been bad. Why did I rate 4? Because the food and environment is PHENOMENAL. Please train your staff more, my family refuses to go here now due to the service but I hold out hope. They aren’t rude either, just inattentive and get caught up in conversations with tables for far too long. Thanks for the great food though!

it's honestly what i expected for a fine dining mexican food restaurant. definitely not traditional based on past Mexican food experience living here in socal. I did appreciate that the foods were unique in their own ways. however I do feel that the flavors were very simple; i think if they offered sauces/salsas complimentary with every entree i'd appreciate the eating experience way more.

Stopped in for Happy Hour. They had a few drink options. I went with the cucumber gimlet, and my husband got the Mango Martini. They were both delicious and refreshing. Didn't get any food because we had a late lunch, but I did see they had some tasty options and will try the next time. My only complaint and really not the fault of the restaurant was the noise. There was a party going on in the table behind us, and they were extremely loud and cursing. They probably should have gone to a sports bar. When I saw everyone's face at the bar getting annoyed, you know it's beyond bar loud. I'm sure it's a one off, so looking forward to the next time having some food.

Came into this place with high hopes after seeing a few pictures of the food that looked delicious. Let me start off with the staff, very friendly and helpful. The drinks were good around $10-16 for a mixed drink. I had the Jalisco Picante which was delicious. The food in the other hand was decent and overpriced. $16 for two tacos and some refried beans is a bit to much. At least give me 3 tacos for that price. The tacos were fancy looking but the taste was not the best compared to $1 street tacos. I had a pastor and asada taco and my tortilla started falling apart when I was eating the pastor taco. Also the salsas were flavorless and just not good at all. Its a good place to go have a drink if your craving some tequila or mezcal but I probably wont come back here again. Maybe a year from now I will come check it out and see if it got better.

The food was pretty good, loved the atmosphere and the music however the service was a bit slow and I just can't justify the prices. The server checked in on us pretty often however drinks took a long time to get to us regardless . $8 for a taco is insane, yes the ingredients are upgraded from what you would normally see but even then I've had plenty of "fancier" tacos at a lower price. Fun for a night out but wouldn't return.

Music is a bit too loud. Service was a little slow to take our initial order of drinks and appetizers. Appetizer never came. My wine glass had greasy finger prints on it. Ordered the chingon burrito. The beans and rice were not fully cooked and the carnitas were a bit dry and not really flavorful. Probably won't eat here again but the drinks are fine.

Boyfriend and i stumbled upon this place looking for food late at night and we were not disappointed! The staff are very nice and organized, the atmosphere is nice and inviting. My favorite thing is the margaretia flight. Delicious and they dont skimp on the alcohol. 🍹 EDITED: voted down 2 stars, we (bf and i) came over for drinks, wanted bar seating .. was told bar seating closed, wait 20 minutes. OK. Went for a walk, came back, some couple literally just walked in "oh I guess bar is open seating", walked past the hostest and sat down immediately. Hostest said nothing. When hostest finally got around to us, tried to seat us at a table... again, we had asked for seats at the bar... there were literally 4 open seats. So we skipped the table, walked up to the bar where the bartender himself was like "ya, open seating!". Sum it up, made to wait for no reason while others jumped ahead (same amount of people, 2) Bar tender was great. Remaining 3 stars for services is for him. Hostest, -2. Recommendation, dont listen to them and waste your time, walk up to the bar and grab a seat. 🥂

Mid afternoon lunch at @donorangetacos today. The carnitas tacos were pretty good. They are actually more filling than they look. The fish tacos were also tasty. They looked slightly better than they tasted. My main beef would be the slow service. The restaurant wasn't very busy and it took quite a while to get refills on drinks and our plates cleared. Our server forgot to bring the extra napkins I asked for and never brought the chips and guac I asked for.

Took waiter 30 min to serve drink Food Was ok but the dish I had was a little bit to soggy for me The desert wasn't that great The bar was good but they had no blender for margaritas serves Mexican food

The fajitas were good, but it only come with meat and vegetables no guacamole or sour cream; the fish tacos were terrible and to much bread also the michelada was horrible all you tasted was the beer. Last you have to pay for chips and salsa.

This is a tough one to rate.... there were some really great things (the food), and some really not-so-great things (the service). Great: -The shrimp taco was deliciousssss, and the carnitas one was really good too. -The churros were probably the best churros I've ever had in my life. They were filled with some sort of cream, and were well-worth the $5. -Even the free chips and salsa were nice. Not-so-great: -We were on a Saturday afternoon, off-peak time. There were barely any customers, but it took HALF AN HOUR for our three little tacos to come out. -And on top of that, a busser tried to give us the wrong order. Our waitress had to take back the wrong tacos and bring out the correct ones. -When we arrived, we asked the host for a high chair, as we clearly had a baby with us. She led us to our table... and never brought a high chair. Later our waitress came and greeted us. She saw the baby on our laps... no high chair. She took our order... no high chair. After more than 10 minutes of sitting there, I finally asked a busser for a high chair and he brought one. -We were there for the Dia de Los Muertos event, but the staff didn't even seem to know much about the promotion. When we first came in, we asked the host how the free tacos thing worked, and she had to go ask someone. Then at our table when we got the bill, we saw that our waitress charged us for our tacos. We had to say, "Aren't the tacos free?" and she was basically like, "Oh, I didn't know you guys were here for the free tacos" and then took them off our bill. Which really doesn't seem right at all... they should be giving them free to the first 200 customers after 2pm, as advertised, without customers having to explicitly ask for it! There was also a candy table with to-go bags, as part of the event I assume, but no employees mentioned it to us. As we were leaving, I welcomed myself over to get candy.

Reluctant but Honest Review – A Disappointing Experience for a Solo Diner I really didn’t want to write this review, but I feel it’s important to share my experience for others who, like me, often dine out solo. I eat out frequently and usually enjoy trying new places, but my visit to Don Orange left me incredibly disappointed. From the moment I walked in, I felt unwelcome. The host gave me a look that felt judgmental—no greeting, no warmth—just negative energy, seemingly because I was a party of one. As I sat down, several servers walked by without so much as a “hello” or “I’ll be right with you.” Nothing. I work in the service industry myself, so I understand how stressful it can be, but I would never walk past a guest without at least acknowledging them with a smile or a greeting. It got to the point where I genuinely started wondering if I was going to be ignored the entire time simply because I was dining alone. Meanwhile, every other table around me seemed to be receiving attentive service. If management doubts this, I invite you to review your cameras from 5/13/2025 between 7:34 PM and 9:08 PM. To be clear, the restaurant was not overly busy. I noticed at least 3 or 4 servers, and yet, no one stopped by. It wasn’t until nearly 25-30 minutes later that the bartender came over and asked if I wanted a cocktail. I’m not of age, so I politely asked for a Diet Coke and placed my food order. To their credit, the food came out quickly. Unfortunately, the server who brought it over seemed to have an attitude—no offer or a “can I get you anything else” Just a cold drop-off. I also observed other servers laughing and chatting instead of tending to guests. I know there’s often a stigma toward younger people dining alone at upscale places—servers sometimes assume we won’t tip well. But in reality, it’s usually the confident solo diners who appreciate good service and tip generously. Personally, I often tip 45% or more when dining out alone, and I had every intention of doing so here. The food and ambiance were incredible—honestly top-tier. But the service experience didn’t match the quality of the kitchen, which is a shame. If it weren’t for the bartender, who was the only person that acknowledged and served me, I don’t think I would have been helped at all. I tipped him 65% of my bill because he was the only highlight of the evening. I arrived at 7:34 PM and left at 9:08 PM. I’ve never waited that long just to be acknowledged at a restaurant—especially as a solo diner. Great food can only carry an experience so far. Service matters, and unfortunately, Don Orange fell short.

Overpriced mexican food and decent drinks. Mango martini was delicious although it tasted mostly like mango juice lol. Slow service. No refills on drinks because of the slowness. Filet mignon tacos could have been better if they didn’t put their creamy guacamole on the bottom of the tortilla, making the whole thing mushy and the meat cold. Cant believe I paid $30 for that entree

So, the flavors in the tacos were good. But they’re SMALL for $16 for two with a small side of beans. The nachos are $18 and could be made at home for $5 at most. The salsa was good, the chips crispy...but we had to wait and ask for everything. I get it, they’re busy. But everyone around us was served, attended to, and taken care of even if they came after us. My group is convinced that the server didn’t treat us the same because we weren’t as old as the other patrons....and she probably thought we didn’t have money. We got our chips and salsa AFTER our meal. We sat for 15 minutes without our waters and silverware with BOTH owners walking by us. The male owner talked to all the tables around us, but then again they were all older patrons. It was just a bad experience all together. The food is overpriced for what it is, the service is embarrassing, and I don’t see us going back. EDIT: The nachos were $25 because adding chicken (a half or small breast worth) was an additional SEVEN dollars. Absolutely ridiculous.

Sorry Don Orange this experience was not up to par. Went on a Tuesday taco night special night and ordered some drinks as well. Even though there was plenty of seating open the host could only seat us in the bar or high top bar area, fine. Ordered the drinks the bar tender recommended, asked whats available for the taco Tuesday deal and placed our order, but, unfortunately only one order was place into the kitchen. One plate came out and we waited, waited split some of the food. Asked the Manager that just happened to stop at our table how everything was if he would check on our other plate. Then the mistake was reviled, no problem, so we placed the order again, 5min they said with apologies, after 10min they brought out a different order of food. We ordered something different, again, apologies, this time no Manager. They should have at this point comped the meal. My remaining food was cold from waiting to eat together. For these prices I expected a higher class place. Sorry, too many many good placed out there to be going back to the ones that dont own up to their own mistakes. Do better!

Don Orange is under new ownership, so we decided to give it another chance. The place wasn't busy and had plenty of servers, however service was still slow. The Air conditioner wasn't on or working which made dining uncomfortable. We ordered guacamole and chicken flautas for starters. The guacamole had way to much lime and no flavor, the salsa wasn't good. For our entrees I ordered chicken enchiladas and my wife had the steak Cesar salad. Both were flavorful. The cocktails were on point.

Service was horrible we had to keep asking to get attention from bartender! She keep forgetting about me and my husband at the bar "sabs" our bartender was a bit distracted chatting with other people but not taking out order or drinks ! Food was overpriced and disgusting promising raw aguachiles and giving us fully cook shrimp o and our server forgot to bring our utensils. DO NOT GO THERE

Super bland expensive food and uncomfortable seats. The service was no where to be found and didn't bring things we asked for. Store bought tortillas and no seasoning on meat.

This day, not that great 🤦‍♀️Food mediocre 🤪Bartender, not the usual one. He wanted to tell me all about the liquor laws, because I wanted a double shot in the Hibiscus Margarita. I paid in cash, and also tipped him in cash, however, it took him 30 minutes to give me my change. I sat out front. It’s like you are not even there! Slow customer service 😛. Extremely disappointed today! Come here at least once a week
