Great food. I had the lasagna. My friend had spaghetti. Bread was served before the meal. We got soup and salad. The server was good. Train car atmosphere.
I had not been to this place in years and was so happy I did. Food was pretty good and this is coming from someone that's not big into pasta. Enjoyed the meal, the service and atmosphere. Prices are reasonable, around $17 to $25 each dish.
Waiter was a young man, very attentive and polite, but not overwhelming. The food was good. It was a little too cooled down for my liking, but it was still delicious. The rest of the staff was also quick to me seated. Now, this was during the week and lunchtime, so I am uncertain if that played any part into the service, but either way, I would eat here again.
This is the first time I've been to this location. They did great. I'm on a gluten, free diet.
We went to dinner on Valentine's Day and absolutely loved the experience. We made reservations for 6:45 and even though they were running behind, we were seated by 6:50, had our appetizer by 6:55 and we're digging into our entree's by 7:05. I don't know how they did it, but they kept our drinks full, or table clear and served the best food we've had in a long while, all while working at a brisk pace to keep the night moving; although I must also say, we never felt rushed or like they were too busy to make our night perfect. Way to go guys and gals! Keep up the excellent work.
Great food! Nothing I have tried hasn’t been good.
I absolutely love this place. Everytime we go, we request to sit in the trolley, which is magnificent. I always get the same thing, the mushroom ravioli, which is fantastic and I would 100% recommend it to anyone who is either vegetarian or just really loves mushrooms. Good service, good food, great atmosphere. Definitely worth the trip there.
Very pleasant. Had 3 meals and one takeout order. The server even added a whole loaf of bread to go with the takeout order.
This place is a gem. The food was priced reasonably and there were some great deals! The italian cream soda came with complimentary glasses which was so cool! The pasta meals come with a little bowl of soup and ice cream. Our server, Melissa, I think was her name, was fantastic! Absolutely sweet and very warming. The hospitality from servers were top notch. This place is definitely a 10/10.
This place is classically great and the food is fantastic! The mizithra cheese and brown butter is just AMAZING! The waitress was a bit slow and distracted, but everyone has bad days. Highly recommended for Great food and warm ambiance!
My first visit. Impressive building! Best spaghetti ever. Meat sauce was good, the Mizithra Cheese was outstanding. Tried the olive tampanade which was a special treat. Did I mention the wonderful warm loaf of bread? Our server, Jennifer, had a winning smile and helped make our experience here a delight!
The food was delicious! The service was great. It was very clean. The A/C was nice as well. I went to the one in Newport Beach and it wasn't the same at all. I would rather return to the Redlands location. Thanks for the good experience team.
We went here after a funeral. There were 22 people in our group and we had only 1 waitress. She was fantastic! I am just so sorry that I didn't get her name. Thank you so much 💓
The food was so good! The atmosphere is amazing. Highly recommend!
Mateo at OSF Redlands was a great server, very attentive and courteous to our requests, but not intrusive.
Great and fast service. Polite and beautiful scenery. Celebrated our daughter 8bday here with family.
Went there for lunch with the wife and it was great! I highly recommend this restaurant. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. The inside of the restaurant was extraordinary. With the old retro style trolly sitting in the middle almost made me feel like I was outside, in san Francisco.
Absolutely love the Mizithra Spaghetti dish. I'll be back for more. Nice to have a quality restaurant with good vegetarian choices. Hubby really liked his Fettuccini Alfredo as well.
Hadn't been here for a while, but was seated prior to reservation time, served the same good food & by friendly & personable staff. Just returned again on 1-20-26 after abdominal surgery & learning they have a gluten menu. The pasta was surprisingly good, probably due to the sauce, so I'll be returning.
Jake was very good server. The older lady seemed like manager was not very friendly, and forgot portion of our order.
We decided to have my daughter's low key, mostly family, baby shower at Spaghetti Factory and reserved their private room. I am so glad we did! Our main server was so attentive to all of us chatty girls. His helpers were amazing too! Everything came out of the kitchen on time and we were able to enjoy the celebration without any lag between salads, entrees and dessert. Everyone enjoyed the food and the room that we could enjoy ourselves without bothering other diners. Thank you!
The food was great, but the service was outstanding. Seriously, the best service I've had at a restaurant in ages. I forgot the blonde waitress's name, but she's a gem.
Kevin had to serve our table of 24 people including six children which is already a big deal and he did so very efficiently and happily. He was polite. And didn't make any mistakes at all! Oliver food came out at the same time and he made sure the kid's table had everything they needed. He also came back and saying.Happy birthday to my nephew all by himself with no help from the staff. He even did separate checks for every couple at our table which is unheard of. Kevin you were amazing! I hardly ever give reviews, but when I come across excellent customer service.I feel like I need to take a moment to do it. Spaghetti.Factory in Redlands!: Kevin deserves a raise!
Update, the food was really very good today. I once again had the meat feast. It consists of one Italian sausage and two meatballs served with spaghetti and meat sauce. The last time I was here I was convinced it had no flavor but this time it was really good so I think my taste was off that day. Anyway your meal comes with soup or salad and they bring you a nice loaf of sourdough bread as well. Our waiter was Jake and he was fantastic. Super friendly and helpful. He is also the bar tender. So if you get Jake as your waiter or bar tender, you will enjoy the service.
This is one of my most favorite restaurants. As far as this location I would say it os so so. We were not greeted and the service was not as we are used to from "The Old Spaghetti Factory". Having said that, we've been here before and will return. It is not that terrible. The restroom does emit a very bad Sewer smell that is very off putting. Stay away from it and your experience should be fine. Enjoy the food is fabulous!
We made reservations because we had 11 family members, servings were very generous even the kids menu with many options. Everyone's food was ready at the same time! Comes with desert. Very casual attire, unless you want to dress it up!
A delightful Italian dining experience with wonderful ambiance! The classic recipes are prepared with care and taste authentic. Portions are generous and the service is excellent. The atmosphere creates a warm, family-friendly environment.
Tonight was super busy for Festival of Lights. We got lucky and didn’t have to wait we found a high top in the bar. Emily took great care of us. Even though she was slammed she was so kind and efficient and made sure we had what we needed. On a night that could’ve been chaotic she had a calm energy which I appreciated. 🙏⭐️
From the moment we arrived, Mateo our Bartender/server was extremely friendly and attentive. He has a contagious smile and he made sure we had everything we wanted. This experience at the Old Spaghetti Factory was the only one even worth a review. The other two locations we ate at were a complete disaster. Thank you, OSF Redlands for setting the bar higher!
Nestled between LA and Palm Springs, the Old Spaghetti Factory, an Italian-American-style chain establishment located in Redlands, is where some of us, as first-timers, met up for an early dinner last Friday. Upon entering, the old-world decor, adorned with antique lighting, intricate stained-glass displays, and wood features, was gorgeous. In the middle of the dining area was an old train car or trolley, in which smaller groups of up to four people could be seated. There were tables and booths in the remainder of the restaurant, as well as a separate area for special events. The menu featured a broad selection of pasta, meat, and salads made on-site from scratch using fresh ingredients. My partner, his family and I decided on Lobster & Crab Ravioli, Pasta with Garlic and Mizithra, Mgr. Fav Marinara/Miz, Chicken Fettuccine, Shrimp Fettuccine, and Minestrone Soup. The pasta meals came with a little bowl of soup or salad, ending with the house favorite spumoni with pistachio, chocolate, and cherry flavors. Complimentary bread started our meal. The food was amazingly delicious. The staff were nice and friendly, especially our server, Conie. The price was reasonable, and there were some great deals. It’s the perfect atmosphere for a family celebration, a group event, or a special dinner date. We had an overall great experience, so we can recommend this place.
I've never been to Old Spaghetti Factory, I meant, I live nearby but never tried the restaurant before. So today, for our dinner, we had our first time eating dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory located in Redlands. We ordered Chicken Parmegian, Fettuccine, Spaghetti with marinara sauce, and garlic bread. My son finished the garlic bread, and he liked it so much that he didn't have space to eat his spaghetti. My daughter liked her fettuccine (my daughter is a picky eater, but I was surprised she liked the food). Good food Good service (very attentive) Good atmosphere Reasonable price But the host that seated us needed to smile more (looks unhappy with her job). And her tone when I approached her was so unfriendly about the table being ready for us. I still recommend this place to friends and family. Also, I will be coming back for another dinner time with my kids in the future.
If you want classic italian pasta well-made, then come to the old spaghetti factory. Their menus are simple not like some restaurants that have 4 pages....just for appetizers. The vibe was awesome, per usual as other spaghetti factory restaurants. But if you haven't been into one, it has the class, vibrant and elegant feel to it. The staff also we're great. This location ranks up there to other old spaghetti restaurants I've been too 🙌🏽
My husband and I go here 2-3 x’s a month. We have always ordered the Crab Ravioli, we just found out they now have added lobster with the crab, we can't wait to try it. The other dish we order is the Managers Special Spaghetti with the mushrooms and bacon sauce, it's so tasty. We alternate between those two dishes . We have found we can easily split the meal between us both since you receive salad and bread. We then top it all off with ice cream after our meal.
I went to the Spaghetti Factory for the first time for a birthday and I WAS BLOWN AWAY!! How have I never been here??? The food was so delicious and amazing!! The server was also super nice and the establishment was very clean! I had an overall great experience. I will definitely be coming back soon and trying more items off the menu.
Can never go wrong with some old spaghetti from the factory. Went for my birthday and had a great time :)

Nice atmosphere. We were amazed with the tram/ train interior on the inside. Love it! Spaghetti and pasta was sooooo good. I love that they gave us free ice cream as well!! Thank you! Lovely!
Good food, nice ambiance but sometimes it's a wait to be seated because they don't have enough servers. But, overall very good! Would recommend the chicken Marsala and their lasagna.

Friendly server. Went there to celebrate lunch for my daughter 5th bday. This particular area didn't have server but they make sure there's server to served us. Our server Valerie was awesome. She makes sure to keep check on our needs. Thank you. Only down side 2 of the pasta was too cheesy for the kids taste and house dressings were very light flavor. That is why I'm giving it a 4 star.
We made reservations and got in about ten minutes after that. The cotton candy lemonade was a treat. The vanilla cream Italian soda is good. Mix it before you drink all the syrup from the bottom and end up with just cream. Yes, the sourdough bread is made fresh but it's really hard to cut with the knife they give you. The salad was like they just got it out of the freezer, so it was actually too cold. And they messed up the dressing on another salad in we didn't get that till about the same time as the food. I got the spinach chicken tortellini with alfredo sauce mixed with the mizithra cheese and brown butter sauce. It was cooked perfectly, and the sauces mixed together were tasty. I ordered a latte Martini, but it never showed up, so I canceled the order. The spumoni ice cream was a nice end to the meal.
No complaints at all, definitely give them a try!
It had been a long time but we stopped by for lunch. The triple meat spaghetti was great but my cheese pasta was so dry it felt like yesterday's old lunch. Didn't enjoy it much. Soup, salad n bread was enjoyable as well. The waiter brought checks out before the desert that was imcluded with the meals as if we didn't know. We asked to make sure then he asked of we wanted it as we were ready to leave. SMH!
I've always wanted to try this place! I heard good reviews about them and we finally went to dinner here tonight! It was pretty good. I had the lasagne and a caesar salad. My husband had the Italian sausage with meat sauce spaghetti. He also had the minestrone soup which was very good! Very cute inside. Good atmosphere. Service was good. We got to sit inside the trolley. Good experience! Also we got the blueberry cream soda with sovienier glasses to take home! Pretty cool! I would definitely come back and recommend!
I used to come here a lot when I was a teenager and boy have the prices gotten higher. While the food is very tasteful, I find that it's not worth $21+ for pasta. I do recommend the chicken Marsala and the new olive pate spread with bread. I can appreciate the looks and fancyish environment. The ole spaghetti factory will always hold a special place in my heart and I understand it's a three course meal for that price. Occasionally during the week they have specials so look after that.
This restaurant is so cool! We ate inside the train which is unique and feels private yet you’re close to the bar. Staff is attentive and helpful. The meal includes a 3 course entree for about $20 which is unbeatable! My husband got the Mizithra- which was basically buttered noodles. I got the mushroom stuffed ravioli which was so delicious. Highly recommend trying this place out!
Stopped in with two colleagues from work on a Thursday night for dinner; none of us had ever been here. It was a 20 minute wait for a table so we sat at the bar to kill time. I ordered a local (Hangar 24) beer and the bartender was very convivial and efficient. We were called to our table and we were seated and we waited to be served. And waited. And waited some more while we watched other tables that came after us get drinks and order their dinners. Still we waited. At one point my coworker said "Should I say something?" after about 20 minutes had passed. Finally our waitress appeared after covering two other tables first and took our orders. Since we had waited so long we knew drink and dinner orders already. We all ordered dinner items that came with soup, salad, bread and dessert. The waitress returned quickly with the two sodas my coworkers ordered but not my beer. After a few minutes she returned and asked if I had my beer yet and I said No. She returned saying that they were out of my choice which I thought weird because at the bar they had 3 taps dedicated to this beer. Apparently that's for show...they really didn't have any so I ordered something else. The meals came and we had no issue at all with the food - I ordered the angel hair pasta, my coworkers ordered linguini and lasagna. We all thought the sauces and cheeses were really tasty. We ordered the broccoli appetizer with Mizithra cheese and browned butter and it was very good. For dessert we had the spumoni. My coworkers had never had it and the waitress explained to them that it was a blend of pistachio, chocolate and cherry ice cream. They ordered it and when it arrived both were disappointed to find little or no chocolate - mine was OK but I thought it was too bad they couldn't have experienced the true dessert since neither had tried it before. All in all the food rated well, the bartender and waitress were really friendly, but service was super slow for no obvious reason. Since this was my first time I'd give it another shot in case this was an off night.
Love the soft velvet couches in the waiting area. There was a 5 minute wait. It was around 2:30 on a Saturday. The server was happy and helpful. The dinner salad was a good size with fresh croutons. I like the pesto ranch dressing. The chicken picatta was moist and savory. I really liked the Mizrithra cheese and brown butter sauce. Freshly baked sour dough bread with real creamed butter. 🙀😊 I would definitely recommend and go back. Wanna try their shakes.
It's a beautiful atmosphere if they see you in the bar area or in the streetcar. Otherwise if you get to where the service area is there going to be on the back of your booth with the silverware cart and when you complain about it they laugh and think it's funny. Oh and if you want your salad with Romaine ask for it they don't even tell you that it's available.
We had a 10 minute wait. Not long. Service was great. We both had the dinner plates (chicken marsala and chicken fettuccine)which came as a 3 course meal. I had ceaser said and my daughter ordered the minestrone soup, which she loved. The ceaser salad was yummy and had a perfect amount of cheese. The server also brought bread and butter. The plates were large helpings so we asked for boxes to have for lunch the following day(still really good). We eneded the meal with the house favorite ice cream...starts with an s.......(is pistachio, chocolate and cherry flavor). To drink I had the house chianti, it was good and my daughter had the Italian cream soda blackberry flavor. The glass is a fun souvenir.
Portions are small compared to other pasta restaurants priced the same. The toilet seat covers were missing in the stall I used, I had to put toilet paper down.
Went there for wife's works Christmas party. Really nice place. The overall atmosphere is cool, plenty of parking. Well lit too.. Traffic can be mad at thimes and easy to find. The staff there are attentive, polite and professional. The food eas great (had chicken marsalla), garlic bread and salad. Wife had lasagna. No complaints. I recommend trying them out

Good cheap food! Always for spaghetti with clam sauce and Italian sausage and Pinot noir!
The dinning area where we sat was not clean. I don't mean the table but the light fixtures and the booth dirty full of dust like they hadn't been clean in a while. Other than that it was good
Not bad. Had the meatball and sausage spaghetti. The sauce was and the meatballs where a little on the bland side not to much seasoning going on there. The Chicken Marsala had a very earthy taste to it. I don't know what kind of wine they used to make the sauce but traditionally it has a little sweetness to it but it still good, different but good. I would come back to ry different dishes maybe I'll find one I like 👍
The food was nothing special. Service was better than average. Dining was relaxed and comfortable, not overly loud. The extra portion of lasagna was twice the price listed on the menu. Overall, it was a little expensive.
My food was amazing!! My friends food on the others hand had a FREAKING HAIR IN THE FOOD!! Like wear a hairnet!
I have to say that as a vegan it was almost impossible to find something to eat on the menu here. I ordered a simple garden salad with a few extra veggies and they were unable to accommodate my request. I sent the salad back twice and both times it came back incorrect, how do you mess up a garden salad? I eventually decided to have the minestrone soup. The soup is actually very tasty they added their own special touch by adding cabbage that makes it so much greater. My family and I visited this location on a Sunday afternoon and it was surprisingly empty we were seated right away. Not going to say I won't come back because as I said the soup is awesome so I would certainly come back for that alone.
We don't eat out much at all, but made reservations here when family wanted to eat here. My husband is a really big dude at 6'4" and we had an all adult party. Sadly, the hostess decided to sit us in the trolley car (which is NOT made for big people) and we could barely move. My husband was hanging off of the edge and I could still barely eat my food as our arms were touching. Meanwhile, we saw massive tables with 2 adults and 2 kids that could easily fit 6 people and here we are stuffed like sardines in this ridiculously tiny table. The meal was decent (Rao's pasta sauce from Costco is far better), and the service was phenomenal. The deduction in stars comes from needing to train the hostesses on what is an appropriate table size for the people eating.
The food is very good but the customer service needs a lot of work. I have been enjoying Spaghetti Factory for over 20 year's so it actually surprises me the customer service is so off here. I usually order the spaghetti with sausage and meat sause. Creamy Pesto Salad dressing on a larger portion salad. The sourdough bread is fresh. Overall, my favorite spaghetti factory is in Riverside but I live closer to this one.
We ate there on Jan. 23rd. My hubby had Spaghetti w/meat sauce it ok, he said.. I had the brown butter Spaghetti always delicious. We both had minestrone soup. Both my hubby and I got very sick that night. We both thought it was the minestrone soup that didn't agree with us. We will try the restaurant again but no soup. Service and our tall server was wonderful.

This place is below average unless you’re long time fan of The Old Spaghetti Factory. The bathroom hall smells like urine!!! and the food is like a fancier version of a microwaveable meal! i wouldn’t come here again lol i only came because i see this restaurant every time i exited the freeway.
This location is beautifully decorated for the holiday season. However, the food is not very pleasant. The minestrone soup is…interesting. I got the chicken parmigiana which tasted like the chicken was microwaved, leading to an odd taste, and the spaghetti was…spaghetti; nothing exciting about it. The ice cream was good though. In my opinion the best thing about this place was my server Jake and the holiday decorations.
The Service was terrible. Brianna, server was only known from the receipt. Brianna never introduced herself formally upon her arrival to our table. We were there with balloons and cakes to celebrate …

I usually go there often, but last time the service was really bad, the food was cold and the portions too small. I wouldn't go back if I have other choices.

Came on a Sunday evening with my man with the craving of a good lasagna and pasta. We got sat down rather quickly & maybe that should have been red flag #1 because this place used to be packed a few years ago. Waiter was nice but we got our appetizers before our drinks. Hard to swallow a piece of bread with no drink. LOL. Then the entree’s came out. Lasagna tasted like something we could have made at home and better at that. The spicy spaghetti should be removed from the menu, the only thing that makes it “spicy” is some random tabasco sauce. Husbands Old Fashioned drink was definitely on the verge of just drinking a straight shot. Other than that, I’ll say the garlic cheese bread was the highlight of our time here and the servers are polite.
Basically overpriced microwave frozen lasagna, not what it used to be. Served over charged us and completely forgot our appetizer. 10/10 don’t recommend! The only thing that was cool was the building
This was one of the worst places i have ever eaten at we never had a waiter. Everbody around us was getting service. They never came and ask was everthimg ok. Asked for ranch on salad dry. What was so sad the black waiters never even looked at us he went around to everyone table that was not black asking are they ok. Food was so bland i could have cryed i begged to go here and total disappointment. Please people of color dont waste your money $51.73 wasted sad. And this is what they gave us for or food to go. We never got offered no info about the menu we had to people help us ine took the order the other one drop it off. Those people never asked us did we need anything it was like we didnt exist. Now i cant pick the restaurant no more. Im so sad i realy can cry 😢
This restaurant has gone way down hill!! The music was clubbing music instead of the old 20s music that fits the aesthetic. Menus are now paper placemats. It took us 20 min on an empty Monday evening to get a glass of wine. The pasta was dry and rubbery. The waitress didn’t know the difference between a soup spoon and a pasta spoon. Then we had to hunt down the manager just to get the rest of our dinner. It’s so sad what this place has turned into.
For the price of the food it wasn't worth it. The people who sat on the left of us pasta plate was very full and when I got mines it was a fourth of the plate with only 6 shrimp and $25.00 .
The service is HORRIBLE the waitress doesn't even listen to you and got my order wrong and it took over 15 20 min to get her attention to fix it that in itself was a ordeal. And the food straight up tastes freezer burnt... I'll stick with riverside i wanted to give this restaurant a try BIG MISTAKE 85 DOLLER BILL & Disn t eat anything...... will never come back
We came to celebrate birthdays my daughter always picks this place as her birthday dinner and we usually take the drive to Riverside. And I wish we would of. The food was not good at all the salad we got served was so overly wet tasted like water every bite no crunch in lettuce nothing. Our sever was the absolute sweetest ever Jacky you were the only one that made this worth it. But the food tasted like dog food just not good at all. I had heard bad things about this location and they were definitely true. We will not give it another try I think we all left feeling a little sick and nauseous.
