Amici's Pizzeria

This is some awesome pizza! We got a margherita, sausage, and pepperoni. All 3 pizzas were top tier. The crust had the perfect amount of char. Very good stuff. Our server was on it too, she was regularly checking in and refilling drinks. Overall great experience. We'll totally come back

The pizza was OK. I was feeding a vegetarian and a gluten-free so the crust on one was not to my taste and the toppings on the other was not my favorite either so this is probably not fair to say it wasn’t the best. Everyone seemed to enjoy and I didn’t have any leftovers so I think that says it all. Thank you.

We ordered delivery and had a solid experience. The pricing is a little higher than warranted, but the pizza was good! The wings were really delicious. The meatballs were ok, but not exceptional.

Went in there with my family, and the sitting arrangement is a little on the awkward on how tables are set up. At first, our waiter was very attentive, but then later on he kind of disappeared . We had ordered a large margarita pizza and barbecue wings. We asked for well done and they weren’t. That’s why they got a four star.

It’s nice pizza place with a lot of vegetarian options. The place in itself is very spacious and yet cozy and warm overlooking the tiny waterbody. The food isn’t so great just about average. The service was really nice though.

Good family restaurant in redwood shores. It is open late so good after games or school events. The family pastas are good size and there is one day of the week where pasta is 1/2 off so great time to bring the family. Family favorites meatballs, spicy chicken pizza, wings and spaghetti and meatballs. They have a few tvs and generally have on popular sporting events.

This review it’s for the Redwood Shores location. Pizza was good here. Thin but generous slices. Salads were very generous also. I noticed they have about 7 or 8 brick 🧱 ovens in here with a busy staff in the kitchen area. There is inside and outside sitting areas. Ingredients were ok. My only observation was the waitresses and waiters are young and felt like they need a little more training or more experienced. I am not saying they did terrible because they didn’t they just need to describe dishes from the menu a little more to help some customers decide. Our waitress was very attentive, super nice and worked hard to pleased us, she didn’t make us feel uncomfortable or unwelcome. I will be back and enjoy a good pizza here.

Coreection: I went 2nd time and they said ravioli has egg :/.. [Older review] Finally a restaurant which serves eggless ravioli!! We ordered pesto cheese ravioli pasta and a pizza. Pesto was extremely oily - they should reduce oil to make it healthier.

Went here for a team lunch. All my good memories of take away pizza were sloshed. We ordered the Minestrone soup, which was bland & luke warm. We then ordered the 50 pieces Flame Roasted Lemon Chicken Wings. I don't know what was wrong that day, but some of the chicken was undercooked. We get better and fresher Caesar Salad at Safeway. Margherita was just okay. Our old favorite - New Haven White Clam was awesome & hence the 3 stars. Spicy Pepper Chicken was just okay. Don't think we will go back again.

My favorite included the breadsticks, Linguine with (white) Clam Sauce, and Lemon Chicken Wings. The Orecchiette was a bit spicy, but was delicious. The takeout experience was terrible, 1 star. The Lemon Chicken Wings were half-burnt. The Garlic Breadsticks had no garlic taste whatsoever, and was burnt as well. I expected some instructions on heating up the Half-baked pizza; and I looked for the instructions on all sides of the box but found none. The soup and meatballs were just mediocre. The only thing I liked about the takeout is that there were safety seals on some of the boxes. Would recommend eating in only.

The garlic bread and flame roasted lemon chicken wings were decent.

Ordered the New York (basic cheese) with pepperoni and chicken Caesar salad. The pizza tasted like a "upgraded" pizza you would buy at those make your own pizza places like Pizza Revolution or Piology but a bit larger. For a 15in pizza with slightly above average taste the $32 and change the cost is a bit excessive. The Caesar salad was ample enough to share for two and was served with just enough Parmesan cheese and great tasting croutons. A good value for $14. This place has a happy hour option. Thursdays seen like a decent value. For $10 any pitcher of beer (although options where limited to only three). There was plenty of seating options both inside and out. Tables inside have ample spacing and does not have that "crowding" feeling. The biggest disappointment on my visit with the service. The salad came after our appetizer. The utensils came after our salad. The beer came after the utensils. I would say the capacity at the restaurant was 30% at the time we visited.

Rude staff. All they do is talk to each other in Spanish and forget about the customers. My waiter brought me my tab before I even received my two pizzas and forgot about them. My waiters name was Paloma. Food is great but service was 1 out of 5

Left a review a couple years back and they had it removed. So leaving it again to warn customers about Amici's Redwood Shores. This place is scandalous! I was trying to get an order to go, first time trying Amici's. I pulled up to side door, hostess unprofessionally had her boyfriend sitting in the customer area. From the moment I pulled up they IMMEDIATELY started giving me dirty looks, as if they were bothered I would come in and order something interrupting their time together. Mind you she's at work. Also I'm in my 50s. The hostess was in her early 20's, as was her boyfriend who was keeping her company while she was at work. The fact that Amici's allows this is already a red flag. Nonetheless, he continued attempting to stare me down, as if it were some competition. Felt like I was back in Junior high on the playground. Not at a restaurant where I'm a simple customer trying to order take out food for my family. I gave it a few minutes as I gathered my things, before going inside however, I looked up now her boyfriend was standing at the door staring dead at me as if we were in a gang brawl. Again I'm just a 50yr old customer & family man trying to order a simple takeout dinner for takeout for my kids. He is young enough to be my grandson, The main question is what is he doing there during working hours and why is the hostess also egging him on? Did she forget she's at work and may actually have to do her job at some point and not just socialize with her boyfriend her entire shift? It made zero sense. Absolute bizarre situation I've shared with other friends who've thought about dining to Amici's Redwood Shores. Needless to say I didn't bother ordering food from them. The drama just wasn't worth it. I went next door to Five Guys where they were more than happy to take my order. Nobody's boyfriend was at work jealously guarding their girlfriends. I ordered my hamburgers and was out within 5 minutes. I would not recommend Amici's based on their poor hiring practices and poor management. I don't blame the hostess, I blame the person who hired her and allows her boyfriend to come in and hang out with her during her shift. The guy is a complete hooligan and wannabee tough guy that stares down customers that happen to pull up while he's socializing with his girlfriend who is supposed to be working as a hostess / taking orders. I never did get to try the food so I can't comment. Never even made it up to the door. I will be sending my review to corporate as well. This juvenile and immature behavior has no place in a restaurant. Especially with paying customers who can easily dine elsewhere. Do not give Amici's Redwood Shores your business until they clean up their act.

The restaurant's "bag rule" is pointless — delivery drivers don't care and take the food out of the bag as soon as they leave. Please stop enforcing this unnecessary rule.Stop making up pointless rules. You're the only restaurant that demands this — no one else does.
