I had a fantastic experience at this spot! Visiting on a Sunday at noon, I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of crowds, making it a serene and enjoyable outing. The view is absolutely stunning, and the open-air seating added a refreshing touch to the whole experience. The food was a highlight, with the tiger prawn noodle dish and fish and chips standing out as exceptional. The oysters were a delightful treat, especially at the unbeatable $2 special price—so fresh and flavorful! While the desserts were just okay, they didn't take away from the overall excellence of the meal. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy great food in a beautiful, relaxing setting.
Beautiful restaurant! It's the perfect place to have dinner while enjoying a view of the bay. Not to mention the beauty of the inside!. The jellyfish tank inside is especially pretty and pleasant to look at while enjoying your meal. All of the food and cocktails were delicious and the atmosphere was so lively and wonderful! I greatly enjoyed spending time with my family while we got to enjoy our food and the scenery. The fresh oysters and tuna sashimi especially were one of my favorite things there. Honestly the best oysters I've ever had! Would definitely recommend as the perfect spot to have brunch or dinner!
Great atmosphere and a bit off the beaten path. The food and drinks are great and the service is awesome. If you're sitting outside on a cold night ask for a blanket to keep your legs warm. The steak was cooked perfectly, but the veggies were a little salty. Perhaps it was intentional to balance the sweet sauce next to the steak.
Amazing restaurant! Opened in 2024, this place offers very creative menu, awesome view, excellent service and open space design that fuses the interior and exterior areas. A modern and upscale escape from the hustle and bustle of the peninsula, yet just a stone away from downtown RWC. We had flat iron steak, duck confit, and shrimp/halibut ceviche for lunch, and pana Cotta for desert. Everything surprised us. The duck confit was tender, juicy, crispy (skin), paired with amazing pistachio sauce and spinach bakery. Those two sides really got me. Super tasty and creative. The flat iron steak was soft and juicy as well, though not as creative and the sauce was a bit too sweet for me. The ceviche I have to say was one of the best I've ever had. It wasn't a big volume but the taste was awesome. It was serrved with coconut sauce mixed with a bit of spicy oil, jalapeno, chia seeds and salsa chips. One scoop of that combination on a chip is packed with very sophisticated and interestinglt contacting taste. We LOVED it! The Panna Cotta was another surprise. It wasn't just a plain sweet white gelo topped with careless fruit mix. It actually came with a flake of something I couldn't quite figure out, topped with guava puree, and bathed in a pool of finely chopped kiwi, mango, chia, and one other fruit that I couldn't tell. Very sophisticated. Everything we tried was a piece of art. Very impressive 👍. One last surprise for us: the jelly fish aquarium partition between the bar and the dining area. Super creative and artistic!!!
I found this place last minute for a family lunch. The breeze and views were so nice we ended up staying almost 5 hours just enjoying the beautiful atmosphere this place offers. We had an amazing lunch, food was very good, not a single complaint. Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Drinks were all very good and everyone loved the live jellyfish wall. We will probably come back here everytime we meet out here for lunch or dinner. The dinner menu looked so amazing, that we already made plans to come try it out. Beautiful atmosphere, lots of parking, amazing breeze off the water and views are a plus.
Definitely a hidden gem! Great spot for lunch or Brunch! Fresh oysters were great and so were the cocktails! Servers are all nice and professional! Great food and expected the price to be more but it’s priced very decently! Not expensive at all for what it has to offer! Definitely recommend!
This is an updated review for Hurrica. We have been here many times since the opening with friends or just the two of us. Service has gotten better from our past experiences. Though during this visit we had a bit of a challenge at the beginning, our server Juan made up for it. He gave us wonderful and attentive service. Cheers to Juan!! Bar area is elegant amd fun. Indoor seating is fresh and beautifully designed. The outdoor seating is lovely with a view of the harbor and the bay. Food was tasty. The scallop appetizer is beautifully plated and flavorful. The halibut dish was also beautifully presented and outstanding. The sauce with mushroom ragout was perfection. Will also come back for the seafood chowder. The food and location are a big draw for us.
If you’re looking for a dining experience that checks every box, look no further than Hurrica! From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the ambiance. The interior design is absolutely stunning, blending modern elegance with cozy charm. And the view? Breathtaking. Overlooking the bay and harbor, the scenery is nothing short of spectacular—a perfect backdrop for any occasion. Oh, and don’t miss the mesmerizing jellyfish tank—it’s a conversation starter and an added touch of magic! The service was just as impeccable as the setting. Alejandro, our server, was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was flawless. Victor, the manager, stopped by our table to ensure everything was perfect, and Erick, the GM, truly elevated the experience to a 5-star level. The whole team exuded professionalism and warmth, making us feel like VIPs. But let’s talk about the food—because WOW. Every dish we tried was seasonal, fresh, and bursting with flavor. The menu celebrates the best of the season, and you can taste the care that goes into every bite. And then came the pumpkin cheesecake. Words don’t do it justice—it was creamy, perfectly spiced, and hands-down the best dessert I’ve had in years. Whether you’re planning a romantic date night, a business meeting, a gathering with friends or family, or even a corporate event, Hurrica is the place to be. It’s a gem that effortlessly combines exceptional food, an unforgettable ambiance, and world-class service. Highly, highly recommend!
What an amazing experience! The food was so good! The atmosphere is fun. We sat outside with a view of the marina. They have a jellyfish tank inside. The chef made a vegetarian meal for me and I loved it! My husband tore apart the carcass of a lobster and was pretty happy with himself. Parking is super easy. Everything was amazing! Also, buy the milk bread!
Hurrica Restaurant and Bar in Redwood City this past week was an excellent choice as my business partner and I were delighted to a wonderful experience and an incredible menu where we partook in several amazing dishes including Scallops and milk bread, dorade, Mac and cheese, Kobe Wagyu beef, short ribs and onion rings in a wagyu beef fat. Ambiance is incredible, right on the water with views of the harbor. Our server Alejandro was knowledgeable and had excellent recommendations. Amazing! Highly recommended, I will be back.
Hurrica has gotten even better, I frequent this place and everything we ordered was just delicious. The short rib, cooked for 18 hours was so tender. The fish was refreshing, especially with that dipping sauce. And the steak… don’t underestimate it. It’s cooked over live fire, and you can tell they truly understand the heat of that oven. Absolutely outstanding.
Wow! What a special place to celebrate life with great food, drinks, amazing service, and a phenomenal view. From the moment we were guided past the bar (I would like to sit there next time!) and the view of the gigantic Jellyfish tank (ethereal creatures, swimming slowly from the bottom to the top and back) to our table overlooking the marina, the visit was magical. We never had to wait to order drinks, appetizers, main courses, desserts or espresso. The special treatment of Dee, Victor, MeeSun and others was attentive and helpful with suggestions and service. There is a very good wine list, custom cocktails, and even a good selection of mocktails for those who prefer no alcohol. We enjoyed the scallop with strawberry butter with honey and warm milk bread (for dipping in the lemon butter ) and the baked oyster to start our meal. We moved on to our main courses of Beef Short Ribs and Swordfish with a side of Wild Mushrooms, all amazing and perfect in temperature (the Dorade looked good at the next table... next time!) Finally, we shared the Molten Cake and Tiramisu for dessert. The Tiramisu is not your typical version that can get soggy; rather, it has a crunch to it that is unlike any Tiramisu that I have had. As our experience went on, the view of the marina turned into sunset and then night with a full moon rising above the sailboat masts. I'm sure they arranged that just for us! We had a great time at this restaurant and will definitely be back soon (maybe at the bar.) Cheers, Hurrica!
So happy to have found Hurrica restaurant! The location is amazing, the food was delicious and the ambiance was so festive for the holiday season. This restaurant reminded me of a similar restaurant we ate at in Newport this summer (next to the water with boats right next to the restaurant). I've always wondered the bay - being so expansive from SF to the South Bay - lacks so many restaurants by the water. We will be recommending this spot to others and we hope to visit again real soon.
We started off with cocktails and milk bread, hamachi sashimi, caviar toast , oysters (just amazing) , halibut carpaccio, broiled live scallops. And ended it with a sweet coconut panna cotta . The seafood was fresh and the dishes were just amazing. Every bite was flavourful. We ordered almost everything on the bites and starters and they were so worth it. The jellyfish decor was pretty The
Our evening was delightful! The food was delicious! Interesting but not complicated with thought and finesse. Cocktails were equally as good. First time and it won’t be my last. The restaurant is beautiful with nods to all things nautical. They even have a live jellyfish tank. The staff is friendly and attentive. This is a new established and I highly recommend trying it. You can’t beat the waterfront location either.
A perfect spot close to the airport for an enjoyable meal before your flight. Very convenient location with easy parking. The menu is rich, offering delicious options for both seafood and meat lovers. Service is fast and friendly. The atmosphere is spacious, tastefully decorated, and offers a pleasant view. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy a nice meal at a reasonable time before your flight.
★★★★★ We celebrated Valentine’s Day and our 18th anniversary at Hurrica, and it was perfect! The swordfish was delicious and the cod was amazing. The hospitality truly stood out. The owner, Mi Sun, was so friendly, and along with Sophia the host, they both personally came by to wish us a happy Valentine’s Day and anniversary. The restaurant was spotless, and the service was top-notch. Thank you, Mi Sun and Sophia, for making our milestone so special. Highly recommended for any celebration!
My wife and I were there last night. It was a fantastic experience, starting with the location, the interior decoration, the service, the drinks, and the food. Fantastic! The best steak I've ever eaten. The slight smoky flavor adds that extra touch that makes it fantastic. Just one piece of advice: the swordfish should be cooked a little less. The flavor was good, but it was dry. Fish shouldn't normally be overcooked. Overall, however, we had an excellent experience.
Hurrica is officially the best-kept secret on the Peninsula for top-notch seafood! You get a 5-star experience without the SF price tag or the long drive. The Food & Drink: The menu is incredibly creative. You must order the milk bread—it is genuinely to die for. The Ahi Tuna Tartare and the Sea Scallop dish were standout favorites, and the oysters are some of the freshest I’ve ever had. For cocktails, the Maritime Martini is a work of art, though they also made me a perfect Manhattan last night. The Atmosphere: The vibe is so inviting. There is a massive jellyfish tank on the main wall that is mesmerizing, and the views of Westpoint Harbor are beautiful. The Service: Always amazing and highly commendable. I also spend time at The Club at Westpoint Harbor upstairs, and I’m happy to say the 5-star service carries through both levels. If you haven’t been yet, you are missing out!
It was my first time at Hurrica, I went for dinner with my wife, and another couple. The location is scenic and has a beautiful view of the harbor (there's a Yacht club above). The interior is really special. One of the central walls is a live Jellyfish tank. And you can see the entire kitchen and they cook on an open hearth with real wood charcoal. The outdoor patio area is fully insulated and warm, and has an upscale vibe to it. Our waiter (Juan) was amazing and you could tell he really loved connecting with his guests. Their entire staff was so polite, friendly, and attentive. We ordered oysters, milk bread, scallops, the dorade, swordfish, duck, cod, a bunch of desserts, cocktails, and wine. Everything was spot on and delicious! We look forward to making Hurrica one of our go-to spots!
It's an amazing place, with tasty food & beautiful views. The service matches or even outdoes some Michelin-star restaurants we've been to. The hostess was fantastic, giving us a great table and immediately connecting to our (very active) kid! We truly felt welcome—it's very rare these days. Definitely recommended, and we'd be back!
I had the pleasure of dining at Hurrica Restaurant three nights during a four-day work trip, and it quickly became the part of each day I looked forward to most. From the first visit, the staff set a remarkable standard for hospitality...every team member was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. I have to offer special appreciation to Jocelin and Erick, who consistently went above and beyond to ensure every meal was exceptional. Their professionalism and friendly energy made the experience feel personalized and memorable. Of course, the heart of Hurrica shines in the kitchen, led by the incredible Chef Justin. His culinary talent is nothing short of extraordinary; every meal was perfection. The flavors, presentation, and creativity in each dish showcased a level of skill and passion that you don’t come across often. Whether enjoying a beautifully prepared entrée or ending the evening with a decadent dessert, Chef Justin’s food was unforgettable. The restaurant itself is spotlessly clean, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made it the perfect place to unwind after long workdays. It strikes that ideal balance of comfort and sophistication, making it a standout choice for both business and leisure travel. Hurrica Restaurant has set a new benchmark in my travel dining experiences. With phenomenal food, outstanding service from wonderful people like Jocelin and Erick, and a warm, welcoming environment, it truly feels like a home away from home. I will absolutely be returning on my next trip...and I’ll be recommending Hurrica to everyone I know.
Beautiful restaurant right on the water. Views were great including a live jellyfish tank. Our waiter was attentive and efficient. The food was also exceptionally good. Our party tried several of the fish dishes and they were cooked perfectly. The one drawback to the evening that almost ruined our experience was two strange characters walking from table to table trying to perform magic tricks. Did not fit with the tone of the restaurant. Everything else was upscale and elegant. Would definitely go back but I hope we will not see magic tricks again.
This place and the food was AMAZING!! There is a live jellyfish tank that is simply mesmerizing! I cannot even describe how great the meal was. Our server was so nice and attentive, as well as all the other staff that cleared out empty plates and glasses and ran the food. The manager visited us a few times to check in, which was such a nice touch. I had the black cod, which just melted in my mouth. My husband and a friend shared the Tomahawk and they left nothing behind. Everything was just delightful. I could not get enough of that dessert. Highly recommend for any special occasion.
I celebrated my birthday here and I am so glad we've chose here to celebrate. The owner, MeeSun was so sweet taking very detailed care of us by going over the menu and recommendations. Everything she recommended ate all extremely delicious. Every single staff was super friendly and professional. The overall design was 🪸 oceanic and we're all su mesmerized by the moon jellyfish tank behind us. My friend that came here for the first time all said they're definitely coming back with friends and family again Thank you MeeSun and everyone at Hurrica, we love you all so much and definitely will be back very soon
Just WOW. Came here for a belated valentines day date. Not only was the food so delicious, the environment was beautiful (beautiful jelly fish floating around) and the service was above and beyond. The owners came and chatted with us, the waiter kept great conversation, the chef was kind enough to give us a treat while waiting for our dessert to be cooked. Overall I cant recommend this spot enough. I was very impressed by how much they appreciated the customers.
Hurrica is definitely my new favorite restaurant on the peninsula and the best waterfront dining I’ve had in a long time. I’m currently visiting from Orange County and was looking for a great place to spend time with my parents. Hurrica is a stunning establishment and it’s obvious that the owners put extensive thought into the food, decor, service and staff. Our food was delicious, the staff was impeccable and the vibe was just right for Sunday lunch. There was even live music! The jellyfish tank is stunning and the harbor can be viewed from all tables inside and outside. We will definitely be back next time I’m in town—or maybe again before I head back to SoCal!
This was one of the best meals I've ever had. You HAVE to order the milk bread and scallops. The restaurant is beautiful. All of the food was delicious. I had the short rib and the lava cake. Our table split the mushroom and onion ring sides. Best onion rings EVER. My friend got the filet. It was perfect. Really cannot recommend enough. If the food and ambiance wasn't enough, the restaurant owner MeeSun is the sweetest woman you'll ever meet and she works very hard to ensure each customer has a great dining experience.
Dined at Hurrica on a Monday evening for a family birthday celebration, and it delivered the kind of special occasion meal you hope for. We started with the gnocchi, pork belly, and milk bread. All three were excellent, with each dish feeling thoughtfully prepared. For mains, I ordered the whole roasted dorade (my first time ordering a whole fish), and our table also had the pan-roasted swordfish and the grilled filet of beef. Everything arrived together, which kept the pacing smooth for a group meal. The owner stopped by and kindly offered to debone my dorade tableside. I happily accepted, and she did a far cleaner job than I would have managed myself. Around the table, the filet earned immediate praise for being perfectly cooked, and the swordfish was standout as well, described as rivaling the best version one guest had years ago. My uncle worked with the sommelier to choose two red wines that paired beautifully with the meal. I’m not much of a wine person, but even I could appreciate how well they complemented everything. We were among the first guests in the door, and by the time we left the main dining room was fully packed. It got a bit lively volume-wise, though not uncomfortably so. The views of the slough and Westpoint Harbor Marina are fantastic, and the jellyfish tank in the dining room is genuinely mesmerizing. (I also heard it’s the largest privately owned tank of its kind.) Overall, Hurrica provided a wonderful fine dining experience and absolutely feels worth the splurge for a special occasion.
Dinner at Hurrica was outstanding. The food was excellent and every bite was mouthwatering. From the fresh-baked, warm milk bread to every dish we ordered, everything was flavorful and perfectly prepared. The ambiance was just as impressive, with a beautiful view of Westpoint Harbor that made for great pictures. Great food, great atmosphere, and a memorable experience overall. Highly recommend.
We came here for Valentine's Day dinner with some dear friends. The food was absolutely spectacular. Between the sashimi, bread, scallops, and bone marrow appetizers we could have been done. But our main dishes of Dorade and Short Rib were worth the full belly! Pro tip: you can request "Meesun style" on any of your dishes to get the main protein on a bed of kimchi fried rice. Learned that from Meesun herself. HEAVEN! The staff was extremely attentive and ensured all our needs were met. Meesun deboned our Dorade herself and gave us great stories about all the food! 6-stars if I could give it. For sure coming back to try everything we couldn't order this time!!
Hurrica is a gem. The views are absolutely stunning, and the staff is warm, friendly, and truly makes you feel special. I came here to celebrate my friend’s birthday, and without us asking, they surprised us with a complimentary dessert at the end—such a thoughtful touch. The menu changes seasonally, which keeps things exciting, and the fish was perfection—literally melted in my mouth. Our server was attentive and paid close attention to every detail throughout the evening. Oh yes… I’ll definitely be back.
We celebrated my birthday here last night. We ordered the Big Eye Tuna Sashimi, Hearth Roasted Chashu Pork Belly, A5 Wagyu Beef, Grilled Filet of Beef, Roasted Wild Mushrooms, Späetzle Gratin, and 2022 Herman Story Cabernet Sauvignon Bolt Cutter. Cool jellyfishes!
beautiful location at a yatch marina. We sat in a bright room with glass walls on two sides looking out to the marina. My duck confit was slighty better than our favorite French bistro. My wife's steak was OK but her fried onion rings were excellent. Service was very good.
This place is great! The staff is fabulous- extremely friendly and welcoming. The food is worth every bit of going out of your way for- fresh ingredients and the right sized portions which are always cooked to perfection; they take pride in identifying quality sources to ensure great taste. I’m an out of towner - and when in the area I make it a point to stop here at least once during my short stays. The relaxed and ritzy nautical ambiance is another draw to this place - great vibe!! I can’t wait to visit again. I RARELY EVER write positive reviews (if ever) but always rely upon others, so this is my contribution to my favorite restaurant in the area. Already counting the days until my next visit. Every time the food’s been spectacular and always great service … I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
Very nice restaurant with unique food options. The cocktails and all the menu items I tried are delicious. I highly recommend the calm chowder and they try anything seasonal. I went during the summer and again during the fall and wanted this lemon dessert but it was gone. The fall dessert was just as delicious. The only thing I didn't like was they allow dogs inside the restaurant and one was sitting on the fabric bench at the table. I am highly allergic so that was disappointing. Otherwise I love this restaurant and would like to return in the future and highly recommend it.
Wow, I wish I had found this spot sooner! Everything was beyond expectations. The drinks were fantastic (highly recommend the Bloody Mary), and the service was warm and unhurried, such a refreshing vibe. Food highlights: the grilled peach flatbread was unique and absolutely delicious, the oysters were some of the best I’ve ever had, and the fish was fresh and flavorful. The only small miss was the potatoes, could use a better sauce or presentation, but everything else was spot on. The atmosphere is unbeatable: a relaxed, chill setting with amazing water views. Perfect place to linger with a good drink and just soak it all in. 100% will be back.
We came here for my fiancés 30th birthday and the food and service was perfect. We have tried lots of restaurants at this price point but this is one of the first restaurants where service really shined. We will definitely be coming back! The food was also delicious!!
Easily one of the best restaurant I’ve been to in the Bay area. Super friendly staff, top service and most importantly top quality food. Had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday here with my wife. The owner (Ms. Misun) of the restaurant was so nice and the whole team were superb. Highly recommend this restaurant and will be coming back here with my friends next time!
Here, the salad menu was a bit salty to me but not much. I ordered a steak but they served me some fish dish. However, it is not a big problem because I love all fishes. Good view here. Please stop by this restaurant when you have a chance to come to Palo alto.

Gorgeous spot in the seaport area. Views of the mountain range. Great service, fabulous food, excellent service. Dishes we tasted: Halibut Short Ribs Sashimi (both) Caviar Pavlova Wild mushrooms (locally foraged) Octopus All of the above morsels were divine.

Out by redwood city... after we bumped over 16 or was it 18 speed bumps, we arrived to the yacht club. The only other entertainment establishment is Hurrica!!! We were early.. so we sat at the bar and ordered some happy hour oysters and a bottle of Chardonnay. The barkeeps were friendly and the couple next to us gave us several tips about wine country. Friendly vibe, very Cali, cool chic. We ate out on the patio so we could take in the view. Perfect weather in the low 70s. They have heaters overhead in case the wind has a chill in it and they also offer blankets to keep you warm!! Service was a little slow to start, but once they noticed we were there, it was very smooth We had the sturgeon caviar on toast points to start. Yummy. The soft egg yolk a perfect foil for the salty caviar. The live broiled sea scallops was exquisite. My partner did not care for the stuffed monterrey squid, but I thought they were excellent. The Hamachi sashimi eas as good as a top tier sushi restaurant!!! For the entree I had the whole dorade!!! Wonderful smoky flavor imbued the most white flesh. It was a lot of food. Easy to share amongst 2 people. My partner got the Pan roasted black cod. Good not great Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The vibe was excellent Dont forget to checkout their jellyfish wall!!! We will be back!!
Hurrica is lovely in many ways. And with a beautiful and serene location as such, I would say you just need to serve solid food and you'll hit it out of the park. Seriously just sitting at their deck and patio tables with a beer already is 5-star worthy. You really can't get much better harbor-side feel in the Bay Area. And yet... something is off. The dishes are created with creativity and distinctiveness. It is clear that the chef ain't playing around. Each dish is prepared photo-ready. And strives for the "whoa" presentation. This is inching towards fine dining just from the looks of it. Where the illusion falls apart is the balance of flavors. Each bite, appetizer, and even the main courses feels like there's something that is not finished or off or bland. How do you give a bland taste with a caviar toast, I do not know. Duck break on top of ramen and ramen broth sounds great but the broth is too weak to fend off the duck smell. Lobster truffle bolognese seems amazing but it is too salty and piercing with truffle scent. Something is just not right. My advice: tone it down and get back to the basics. This isn't an art competition. Just a solid well balanced food would do. By the end of the meal, I was just begging for some basic fries and ketchup. I applaud the effort. I really do. But it's overdone. I'd come back just for drinks on the deck. Dinner, I hesitate. I would've given it 3-stars but the scenery is just mindblowing so leaving it at 4.
Lovely waterfront spot by the Redwood City yacht club with beautiful marina views. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, featuring an open kitchen, a full bar, and the most eye‑catching highlight--a stunning jellyfish tank. The interior design is warm and inviting, and the overall setting is incredibly relaxing since it's a standalone restaurant right by the marina, not squeezed between buildings. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a mini escape. Our host was very welcoming and took the time to walk us through the menu of the day. We ordered the hibiscus margarita, pork cheeks, Kumamoto oysters, whole roasted dorade, and short ribs--everything was delicious and beautifully prepared. This is a fantastic place for special occasions or a leisurely meal with a view.
The food here is genuinely excellent. The oysters were pristine, the fish was beautifully prepared, and dessert was thoughtful and refined. On the plate alone, the kitchen is clearly operating at a very high level. Where the experience becomes less convincing is everything surrounding the food. Hurrica appears to be aiming for a Michelin-style dining experience, but the service doesn’t quite meet that ambition. The staff was friendly and clearly trying, yet pacing, timing, and attentiveness felt uneven—small things that matter more at this price point. Nothing was outright wrong; it just didn’t feel fully dialed in. The setting gets a lot of praise, though at night the harbor view—especially when it’s behind you—doesn’t add much to the experience. The large jellyfish tank is visually interesting, but it felt more like a novelty than something that meaningfully enhanced the meal. Portion sizes are also on the modest side. Even with appetizers and dessert, I left slightly hungry, which is a bit surprising given the cost and the overall presentation. The overall atmosphere leaned toward a polished, corporate business-dinner vibe. If this were a client dinner or expense-account meal, it might feel right at home. Dining with family, it wasn’t quite the warmth or ease I was hoping for. Bottom line: Outstanding food, good intentions, and a setting with potential—but the service and overall experience don’t yet fully match the ambition or pricing. A very good restaurant that could become a great one with more refinement and cohesion.
We stopped by this lovely seaside restaurant and were really impressed at first, the view of the bay with all the boats is beautiful, and the pasta was genuinely delicious. The only downside was that we weren’t allowed inside with a service dog and were offered outdoor seating only, even though it was quite chilly. That was disappointing, as a service dog isn’t just a pet. Overall, the place has great food and amazing views, and I hope they become more accommodating to guests with service animals.

We decided to head out to Hurrica for a lovely Saturday afternoon happy hour and enjoyed sitting outside in the bar area since dinner reservations weren't available yet. The view of the sailboats in the marina was stunning and peaceful - and perfect tonic for a stressful week. The food was interesting and unique. Unfortunately the service was a bit spotty with missed drink and food orders, and generally quite slow (2-1/2 hours to get the last food item.) All in all, we enjoyed the afternoon though and will probably be back.
