Has gotten way better. I drive through here for work every once in a while and today was the best its ever been. Food was hot, fresh and good amount. Guy at drive through was very nice and seemed to care unlike it used to be. Thanks for a good lunch!
Yes it being said it's fast food it's like Whataburger they don't make it to you order it so expect to wait I've never had a problem as far as the food goes always takes very good to me always hot always been good they always have specials there and the people have been good there. It says I did this review a year ago. I never tried to use the app before until recently it's a dairy Queen Texas app or Texas dairy Queen app you have to get that one it has to be for Texas. Right now though they can't honor any of the free deals or specials unless it's just like the ice cream the flurry things like that. they can't do the food right now which is a surprise because they're very busy dairy Queen you think they'd be ahead of some others. That's not a big deal but just to let people know. still maybe if people start asking all about it. This can change for the better. always save your receipt you take a picture from the app and you build up credit on that but every month you get some kind of deal or even a free something. if you have kids or even yourself if you like ice cream and the other assortment they have of that . it's a good thing to do. they said they will honor those.
This DQ has edible ice on their soda dispenser. It actually is! The ice makes the soda highly better than any normal crushed ice. And it's really actually edible. I refilled my cup three times with ice and Coke, the first time I've ever done such a thing. The food came out hot and tasty, and at the end the ice cream was superb.
We eat her frequently and they never disappoint, except that one time when their soft serve machine was on the fritz. The service was friendly and the food was fresh and delicious. It isn't fancy but it's clean.

The super friendly attitude and easy laughter by the girls working tonight are the reason I chose to write a review. I think I've reviewed maybe one or two other establishments in the past. I look forward to my next visit. *1 year later and I still absolutely love the people working there! Truly, if it weren't for the staff, I wouldn't come by every Friday.
You don't find many of these old style Dairy Queens but if you're in the area stop in for a nice treat in a bit of the way America looks 20 plus years ago! Highly recommended!!👍🇨🇱

My wife and I swung by this DQ for afternoon treats today. The young man who took our order was very professional and friendly. He listened to my order and made sure to add extra malt flavor to the chocolate malt! I also chatted about dogs with the manager after she made our Mint Brownie Blast Blizzard (delicious BTW) while he made our chocolate malt - she was lovely and very affable. Highly recommend all around!
My daughter liked her Blizzard. There were several people in line when we arrived, but we didn't have to wait any longer than we expected. It was a Saturday evening so it was busy. The building is old but seemed clean. It was pretty hot inside. Not sure if the AC is not working properly or if it was just because it was close to 100° that day. The staff was friendly.

Came here a couple of weeks ago on a Sunday and the register dude was really cool and had a great attitude and was very understanding about me trying to figure out kind of blizzard to get my daughter! I believe his name was Keith. I definitely would come back to this location again!
We have been wanting to try this location despite what our neighbors experiences have been. They said the power goes out, workers get their orders wrong, waits too long. My family wanted to try their cold treats and we had the time to wait in case it took a while. The lady taking orders was cordial and read back our order correctly. Then we drove to the window and waited about 7 minutes or so. Once she came to the window, she took the payment and showered us with our s'mores blizzard, Reese's blizzard, and peanut parfait. All looking just as scrumptious as the pictures! She even turned the blizzards upside down and thanked us. We had an all-around great experience from this Rhome location!
100% loved the service and location. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cashier made jokes with us for while we couldn't make up our minds, and I really felt she cared about us having an enjoyable experience. My friend & I decided to take a grandpa to get ice cream float. I got a banana nut Sunday. This Dairy Queen is just walking distance from the United States Postal Service, MrJims.Pizza, and Discount Liquors. This was my first time eating inside a Dairy Queen in Rhome. Will definitely be coming back!
It's a good place to get food. This place has been here for over 40 years and although its gone through changes, it hasn't lost its touch.
I really wanted old fashioned dilly bars and they only had the strawberry ones. Really disappointed. They do make the best burgers around. Loved the 🍟. Nice and crispy on the outside. Considering what I ordered, the drive through was pretty quick.
I love the DQ tacos! The service was outstanding, the cute little redhead actually got my order right and they even had some pretty good old country music coming through the speakers! Update 6/1/23 The service seems to be sliding just a bit. Employees don't seem to take any pride in what they do and, not only do you have to ask for sour cream and salsa for your tacos.... they charge extra for virtually everything.👎 The food was still good but a bit of a mood kill at the counter.
The hunger buster bread did not taste fresh very hard
The wait time can be long sometimes, but the food makes up for the wait. The hunger buster burgers are one of the best options on the menu. The ice cream is plentiful and good tasting. If you plan on going, go before 5pm as it gets really crowded after 5. It does sit off the highway, so it's understandable why it gets crowded.
Again, not very keto even takin top bun off. Wasn't as spicy as I would've liked either. No zero drinks but it was pretty good food...wanted a blizzard sooo bad but I refrained from da insulin spiking sugar...so far Update: I never hit da post button from whenever I was here last!!! Srry
Seems like a pretty good place to eat. Clean, the staff are pretty nice, everything is easy to get to. Somewhat pricey.
DO NOT ORDER THE GRILLED CHICKEN SANDWICH!!! My chicken patty was so small it looked like a kids meal. Definitely not happy about that. As far as customer service it was awesome!!! But food wise I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich meal,shake and tacos totaling $23. Disappointed about my chicken sandwich!!! PS management knows about the problem. I don’t believe it’s the managers fault. It’s a DQ scam
I stopped by for a blizzard on my way home from work. The drive thru line was so long so I went inside. The staff wasn't friendly, not one associate smiled or thanked me. After I ordered, I stood at the end of the counter & looked around, the place needs a deep clean, bad! I was surprised how dirty the floor & floor boards were. The associate walked over with my blizzard & said here, so I went on my way.
The lady that I dealt with was super nice and speedy. But we did stand at the counter for a while before anyone even said anything to us. I ordered a hot fudge sundae, 2 Dilly bars and an order of Jalitos. We got everything quickly but the Jalitos were kind of burnt. The place if pretty clean.... until you look at the floor. The floor is sticky and looks like it needs a deep clean.
Have been here multiple times over the past year or so. Every time I have been they are usually out of the ingredients needed to make half the Blizzard flavors on the menu. I have never been to a DQ that is so woefully understocked all the time. The saving grace is that all the staff I have encountered have all been friendly and courteous. I've only had entrees there a couple times and they were on par, not memorable but not bad.
Drive thru is always extremely slow. Today we went and ordered a large blizzard, get it and upon taking off the lid, the cup was only about 3/4 full. Very disappointing. The employees aren't very friendly either.
Had several things on menu we tried to order that we're no longer on the menu. Said they had a very outdated menu.... what we did finally order, was good. Just annoying to see things on menu but get told you can't order it. Otherwise would've rated the food at a 4 along with the facility
The guy that took my order had a A personality and I kind of felt like I was bothering him? He took my order for a small shake for over $4 and made a mess in the cup and he used and wiped it off with napkins but not a wet rag therefore there was still residue on the cup when he gave it to me and just was bland about the service he gave me. I personally have eaten there before and it was okay but he is not a good fit for the front in my opinion. He was almost robotic with a touch of I don't care? In my opinion! The food is Dairy Queen and I have not had a problem with, the quality has stayed consistent.
Just ordered milkshakes. Got 2 strawberry milkshakes looked more like vanilla but over all good. Wanted a mint chocolate chip shake but would only serve a blizzard. Blizzard and shake is not much difference just add the half and half. Other dairy queens make them on request but no this one.

Tonight we were notified they no longer give veteran discounts as the restaurant is under new ownership - not a very kind first impression in the way it was conveyed. How does an ice cream place run out of ice cream!!!??? This has happened way too many times in the past 2 months. As much as we prefer DQ ice cream over any other, we will NEVER be going back to this location. If need be, we will drive out of our way to a better location but this one is being run into the ground.
Dairy Queen has gone down hill. My initial server at the window was really friendly. My order apparently got mixed up halfway through and I let her know politely. She goes over to a supposed superior and the superior comes over to me, insists I ordered the thing I didn't and proceeds to roll her eyes, scoff, and day she'll fix it. My order number was apparently 108, which I never got. Hopefully her day gets better. I'm putting two stars for the blizzard my first server prepared and her amazing customer service. Her superior....not so much.
Horrible experience, they were out of ice cream, tacos and steak fingers. We ended up getting burgers that didn’t have cheese like we ordered and they were on stale buns with cold meat. Worst burger I’ve ever had!! The only reason I give 2 stars instead of one was the young man running the store and trying to help us the best he could.
UPDATE: GRAVY back on the menu! And a shout out to the little boy that offered us his leftover gravy ⭐ 🍦 ⭐ Currently 2.29.24 both bathrooms are out of order and they are out of GRAVY!!! How the heck am I supposed to enjoy steak fingers w/o gravy!!!! Fun fact only TX DQs still have steak fingers. Enjoy!
I can’t seem to get a warm burger from this location. Not hot, warm. If you order steak fingers, you’re fine, and the blizzards are as good as any other location, but if you want a burger expect it to be room temperature. It’s happened 3 times now.
LONGEST and SLOWEST “fast-food” drive thru I’ve ever witnessed. You have to scream your order to the speaker and the employees still can’t hear you. We had to explain no less than 4 times what exactly we wanted due to the guy not knowing the menu or understanding basic requests. When we finally settled on something they knew how to and were willing to make the taste and quality were good. Service and functions of the restaurant need major help.
I ordered our supper and had to repeat it multiple times and they still got it wrong!
The staff are great; the food..... Oh the food! It's like they forgot what a basis burger was. The buns are always the worse 😜 NEVER fresh, never toasted and always dry. The meat lacks flavor and seasoning. But the fries 🍟 are already great. IDK. It's a mystery.
Extremely slow service. Every time. Every time. Every. Single. Time. If you have more than one car ahead of you in the drive thru, then just leave. You'll be waiting 10 car. Go inside you say? Nope. The team operating this place seems to be able to only handle one thing at a time. Not good when you're in fast-food. The employees are friendly though.
Want to slowest service around? Then this is your place but not only do you get the slowest service you get some of the worst in customer service. They don't care if you come here or not or if they mess up your order. it is what it is. Update tried for another time out of bacon, out of nachos I wish the management would get their stuff together
Why doesn't this place ask customers to pull into a parking space while they get their order ready if it is going to take several minutes? We only go for ice cream and typically spend 10 to 15 minutes waiting because there is usually one or two cars that have ordered food. Other fast food places are quick to ask you to pull up while they help other patrons. I doubt anyone would be offended by the request. I could easily give more stars if the wait in line wasn't so ridiculously long every time.
Pulled up to the window, the cashier only gave us the dollar amount. When the time came for our food. He just handed us the food. Still slient... refused to speak at all... probably the worst customer service I've ever seen. Maybe hire employees with people skills. Food was haphazardly thrown together. The dipcone we ordered had a splash of chocolate on it... not even close to a normal amount...so to wrap up. Terrible customer service, mediocre food. There are many other options around, not worth it .
Came in to the restraunt at 7pm and they would not let us in, they had the door locked and said the dining area was closed. Once they finally came to the door they said we had to go to the drive through. Waited over 30 min for a drink and a float. Meanwhile there is one employee making ice cream and checking people out while what looks like a manager is just sitting up front doing nothing. It seems they were not letting people in because they were already cleaning for closing when they were still open for 3 more hours. Very frustrating experience and have had multiple issues with this Dairy Queen.
New ownership has not improved much. They are still having a problem keeping food items in stock. I remember when customers convenience was first and foremost. While dining in the restaurant, I noticed the manager and another staff member were parked closest to the front door, convenient smoking area.
Food is pretty good but the service here needs to step it up. I’ve been here only a couple times and each one was just as bad as the last. The service is super slow to the point I feel like I have been forgotten, and that’s in drive thru…. I had a couple people come to the window only because no one is actually there working drive thru. They are all over the place and there is no kind of organization here. They don’t apologize for the long amount of waiting, and they aren’t the friendliest when taking orders.
I ordered through the drive thru today, less than an hour ago. I didn't realize it until my husband started going through my son's box of leftover tenders. (Thankfully he hadn't ate but 1 tender!) Yall served raw chicken! Nowhere near cooked. 🤮🤢 I took a picture of it. The chicken is clearly still pink. Not one part of it was cooked through. Just gross Dairy Queen!
Spend twenty five minutes in the drive through when she brings me my food, I ask her to get me some hot fries because I watched them carry my bag. Around the kitchen for about five minutes while they were working on the other person's food in front of me get my food and my diet Dr. Pepper, get a block down the road.Take a drink of my dr.Pepper.It has no syrup in it turn around and go back when I get in there.I tell her this soda has no syrup in it she replies, oh, what is it?I say diet, doctor pepper, she says, oh, we're out of dying dr.Pepper that's why so I'll let that go I asked if I could have some unsweet tea they did not have any settled for sprite, which I really did not want got back in my car. I drove a couple of blocks. Then I go to eat my burger ice cold not made correctly and it was soggy don't think I will ever return to this Dairy Queen. If you can avoid it, go to giant burger i ended up throwing all my food away
I did NOT order an upside down sundae! I Went through drive thru and ordered a hot fudge sundae with nuts. They literally put the nuts at the bottom. Then the fudge. Topped it off with an overflow of ice cream that you couldn't even get to the fudge and nuts. It isn't that hard to make a sundae, but apparently there is an art to it and they don't know how to make a simple sundae. It made a great mess in my car.
Two stars to match the TWO pieces of cookie dough in the cookie dough blizzard we ordered. Both our blizzards had some artificial banana flavor to it. Neither finished it. Sifted through the melted ice cream when we got home & found only two pieces of cookie dough. Hindsight, we should have known it was going to be bad by how run down & dirty it was inside. The employees were visibly annoyed when we walked in. While waiting for our order another person came in & the guy let out a dramatically big sigh.
I recently moved closed to this Dairy Queen and have experienced no ice cream, the wait for them to take your order is long. Today they had no gravy...basiclally they are always out of something...not sure if anybody cares to keep the customers happy
Worst experience I've ever had with anybody in public! I believe it was the new owner they messed my order up and when I ask a question about my refund she raised her voice at me and talk to me like dirt! No one's going to work for her or buy food from her if she keeps treating people like that! I was totally Blown Away! It has to be the worst Dairy Queen ever! I give it one star because you can't give it none.
Each time we have gone it takes at least 15 to 20 min to get our food dine in or drive thru it doesn't matter, this location needs work on cleanliness and employees do not all wear gloves now is definitely the time to do so. Don't know how this is not required, no adult supervision I assume it's run by kids. This is definitely disappointing when the other brand new location has closed this is the only option we have.
Went to the drive thru and they told me to wait, and for five minuets of just sitting there I did. I also bought a 15$ Dairy Queen gift card and hoped to use it, the lady at the window said she would not accept it. So angry I just took off after they made me sit for so long. When I cooled off I decided to call their manager to express my issue, only the phone line was disconnected. This is one train wreck of management at this store. Actually had to call the corporate office, never did anything like that in my life.
I’d rate it a zero if I could. Went there yesterday and after waiting in the drive thru for 20 minutes, was told they are out of ice cream. They should have put a sign up informing customers. This is second time we were told no ice cream. The service is also very slow. Management is obviously non existent here!
Short staffed perpetually and they shut off the ice cream machines an hour or more before closing (what?) Daytime orders? Not too bad. Evening craving? Go somewhere else, usually only two (or one) employee after 7pm.
Slow service... I dont know what these other people are talking about. I have been here 3 times and everytime I have to wait in excess of 15 minutes. Bad thing about it is it's the drive though. I always ask for extra topping because I don't want to just eat icecream on the bottom half of my blizzard. Unfortunately it always happens. Also to the person with nasty hands that got stuff all over the bag you handed me with my food in it, wash your hands.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Unclean, staff is incompetent. Can't keep decent people working there. Every time I come in they mess up something. This time they charged me for sauce I didn't even get, food is over cooked and my blizzard was so over filled it was running all over, I gave it back. The "manager" was not helpful at all. Yall need to get it together.
Shitty I came here 3 times just for the dude sandwich and they didn’t have it none of those times and always low on food . Like if you can’t get food in your store just close down ..
Whoever Griselda is, she was bossing other employees around in a very rude manner. A young man was in the middle of getting my order together and she kept telling him,"NO, JESUS, the box doesn't go there. It goes over here. Now put it where it goes."well he did right after he handed my ice cream in a cup to me. I thought it down because I was still waiting to get my blizzard that I had ordered. He picked up a cup to make that after he moved the box and she turned around and said, no Jesus, you need to put it over here." Finally I rudely let her know but I was sitting here with ice cream melting waiting for a blizzard to be made and that I found it very unprofessional and rude and she would interrupt him taking care of my order to move a damn box that didn't matter. Then I asked her if it would be fine with her if he were to continue making my order since I've been standing here waiting on it. Our face turned red but she went ahead and let him do it and it's a good thing she did. Cars were lined up all the way out to the street waiting to get into the drive-thru and I can see why they were waiting in line because this woman wasn't focused on the customers at all she was worried about boxes. No doubt boxes that come in on her truck that she should have put up herself
When we ordered there were two cars ahead of us. We sat thru them and it was our turn at the window. All we ordered was a coke and an ice cream cone. We counted 5 employees working. We sat at the window for over 5 minutes and no one came to window or showed any signs of making our order. Three employees were making blizzards for someone. We got tired of waiting and drove off. Terrible customer service
I don’t know what happened to this place. The drive through has never been that fast but the amount of unorganized and undertrained staff has dramatically increased the wait time, I watched a nice handful of people drive off because they were tired of waiting (I imagine). I ordered a grilled chicken salad a day prior when I finally looked at my food I realized they gave me a crispy chicken salad. Then today they messed up my burger, and try telling me they don’t carry the dressing I tried to request for my salad but yet I received it with my order just one day prior. Highly disappointed in what this place has become, and the sad thing is I think management is the one preparing the food, if they can’t get it right then they are doomed to fail. I would have maybe 3 stared but this has been a constant issue.
We did not have the greatest experience at this Dairy Queen. My husband and I both ordered a blizzard and when they came out they were both really melty. It was enough to interfere with enjoyment so I took mine up to the front to ask them to remake it. I am not one to ask this type of thing very often so I felt very awkward asking them to redo my order. I politely asked the guy at the front if he would make it again and he did and was chill about it. I felt even more uncomfortable asking them to redo my husband’s, and the guy was much more reluctant and seemed really annoyed the second time, and this other girl seemed annoyed too even though she wasn’t even the one remaking it. When she took the second blizzard over, she had the most PO’d frown on her face. We thanked them for doing that, despite their attitude. The reality is, if a customer is unsatisfied with their order, it is the employees’ job to make it right. I didn’t feel like I was asking for very much, especially considering they made it wrong the first time. We paid for that ice cream and we deserve to have it made correctly. All I was asking was that they do their job like they already were—it’s not that hard. It’s a shame because this Dairy Queen is so close to where we live, but we will for sure not be back. Awful customer service.
They have no means of dealing with a rush, the quality at dq is always sub par but they think it's worth twice the price of other places. There is a good reason I haven't been to one and years and good reason never to return
Took them 30 minutes to get through 3 cars in line, and the blizzards were already melting as the folks handed them to me through the window. Don’t waste your money.
This has to be the worst Dairy Queen ever. Drive thru take a minimum of 30 minutes, no matter what you order. The blizzards are never mixed fully- only the top half will have anything in it, the bottom will be straight vanilla soft serve. That’s if they even have the blizzards they advertise or have on the menu. Want a shake? Expect the same thing. Vanilla shake is just soft serve in a cup, undrinkable. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
Not a good experience from start to finish. Friday night at 7:30 and out of ice cream. Tried to order a sandwich with bacon.. out of bacon. Tried to order cheese bites.. no longer selling them, but still on the menu. Every time I tried to order I was cut off with a “we’re out of such and such”. The order taker spoke short and was rude. Received my sandwich and jalitos in a bag. The jalitos were dumped upside down in the bag and everything inside was covered in grease. The drive through was extremely slow. It literally took 19 minutes from time of order until I pulled away. Dairy Queen has lost its way. The owner of this store could be making so much more money, but fails to manage expectations. Live by the sword, die by the sword. Good luck, I won’t return here.
They were rarely open the whole month I was staying nearby. Broken ice cream machines, refuse to make any ice cream when they were operable. Get there earlier than 30min before close or they refuse to make anything except "Sundays" sundaes..maybe. It's hit or miss. Never got any food for lunch or breakfast, just dessert so no comment on that. All around I would drive back to Decatur if you want anything promising in any department. My opinion.
Super slow!! Took us 15 minutes to get through the drive thru, there were 3 cars ahead of us and all we ordered were 2 blizzards. While we were sitting at the window we watched one of the girls doing the blizzards, she was talking and BSing the whole time instead of doing her job. When we finally did get our blizzards they were barely blended, had hardly any filling, and there was no choco in the choco brownie blizzard. How do you miss that? This place needs better supervision.
Wish I could give minus 10stars! I’ve literally NEVER been more furious!! After waiting in line at the drive thru for 10min… we get to the menu to order, where the lady asks us to please hold…. So after waiting for ANOTHER 5+ min and watching a family walk inside, order, and leave the register… I jump out of the passenger seat, wait for the person infront of me to finish… order my food and pay, before they ever even let my hubby order at the menu…. The same ppl were still at the window by the time we walked out The order was disgusting!! Cold and didn’t even get it right!!!! How do you mess up a CHEESE BURGER plain with Mayo and a #2 add cheese no veggies?!? So how did they fix it? Brought us a little plate thing with 2 bare slices of cheese on it and a soufflé cup of Mayo and mustard…. Geeez thanx goes great on my cold burger… Yea I would’ve been happier putting $25 In the trash can, bc that’s exactly what happened… except it cost me 30min to do it smh DONT EVER STOP HERE
Honestly the only reason this DQ is still open because it’s the only nearby place to grab lunch. They get 1 car in the drive thru and it’s like they’re all panicking in the kitchen. There can be 1 other car in the line besides you and it takes AT LEAST 30 minutes to get your food out. It’s insane. They also apparently cannot hear. I don’t understand why these fast food employees expect a high hourly rate when at this point they’re doing the bare minimum. I have worked fast food most my life, it’s not hard if you communicate.
I'm never coming here again. I'd come to this location at least three times a week with a regular order. I always order my fries well done and today, they decided it would be funny to intentionally give me undercooked fries. Not the first time it happened. I've spoken to them before and the fact that the employee was smiling when I expressed my concern...I should have known.
DON'T TRY TO GET A BLIZZARD HERE!!!! We came for Blizzards, and the Blizzard menu is outdated, is what we were told. We tried 3 different Blizzard flavors, and they didn't have the ingredients for any of the ones we wanted. We went out of our way to stop here for Blizzards. At least put tape or something over what you don't have.
Got 2, belt busters with cheese to go got back only to find out both burgers had no cheese! Called the manger on duty she acted like there was nothing she could do about it other than saying bring them back when told her I was pressed for time and had to go to work shortly she don't offer anything else like next time I go in to make it right! Y'all need to pay attention on the orders! I will never eat at this dairy Queen again! You don't even deserve 1, star! SMH 🙄
When we ordered the cashier read our order back perfectly. When we received our food, 2 of 3 of our sandwiches were wrong. When we brought this up, they remade our sandwiches - which came out wrong again. However, Natalie was amazing. She did her very best to make things right - she is the only reason for the 5 star on service.
There were 3 girls working, 2 blondes wearing black tshirts, and a brunette wearing a red tshirt. We came to get blizzards at 9:30pm, was ignored at the speaker for 10 minutes. Had one of the girls stare at us multiple times with the headset on making comments to the other girls while not taking our order. We ended up just going to the window and giving them our order there. The entire time they had an attitude with us while we were ordering due to us being ignored at the speaker for 10 minutes while they were walking around the store. Once we started to get our blizzards we said thank you as we got the first one and was told “yup” with a nasty attitude as she walked away. When we got the 3rd blizzard we were trying to say thank you again and to have a nice night and the window was slammed shut in our faces.This is not the type of service we expect from DQ. Will not be visiting this location again.
2 stops in 3 weeks. 1st stop steak sandwich tasted as if it was cooked earlier then cooked again to warm it up. 2nd stop 3/26 Spanish help more interested in what was happening after work. Ordered chicken basket, small plan burger and a belt buster plan with cheese. Only thing that was correct was the chicken baskets and 2 drinks. Both burgers was loaded. Took the larger burger back in and they acted as if it was my fault they made it wrong. Place has gone to hell since the new Corp. owners took over!
So the food here is great. I ordered a health cupfection and it was made with no gloves on. Her hands were all over the brownie and she pushed it down with bare hands. Her excuse was we sanitize in between orders but she never sanitized. She touched her face and moved her hair out of her face as she made the ice cream. The cashier remade it with gloves but I'm shocked with the excuse and the fact no gloves was worn in the first place. That policy needs to change to gloves 100% with food.
I was in line at the drive through for 20-25 minutes with 2 cars ahead of me and still not able to place my order yet. There was 2 people more worried about sweeping and moping than about the 7 cars in line. Everytimei come to this dq it's like this. absolutelyhorrible effeciancy
I only am giving one because of the fact that I can't leave a zero star rating. I went and ordered my food and went back out to my car to ask my girlfriend if she wanted anything. When I came back in I continued my order and then the next thing I know two cops show up, apparently the employees had called the police saying that someone was looking into vehicles. So the police pull me aside and talk to me and tell me that an employee called because said that I was looking in vehicles and the police were very nice they ran my name they let me go. So I go out to my car after finally getting my food and they forgot half of my order. Worst experience at a restaurant in my entire life. They wanted to argue with me and tell me that oh well what you order didn't come with fries well no duh that's why on my receipt it shows that I ordered fries. So they finally bring me my fries and I leave and guess what the Fry's are soggy and gross, both burgers are wrong and my blizzard is basically melted. Someone needs to give me my money back. I will never return to that store again. I will die of hungar before that. Oh and apparently the employees like to go and look in people's cars because I was parked at the end of the parking lot yet they knew to tell the officer that there was a child in my car wow Dairy Queen wow pathetic. You need a new assistant manager at this location she's the one that argues
Thanks for 4 tacos when I ordered 4pc stake fingers and 2 tacos so glad fast food wants more money out of us hard working people just so you incompetent people can't get the damn order correct
Staff was unprofessional and not friendly everyone who was behind us in line got served before us we only ordered a blizzard and a peanut buster parfait they were also cussing which was very unprofessional the staff handed us our ice cream with no words I love Dairy Queen ice cream but this is really disappointing service
The only reason this is one star is because there is not a 0 star rating. I went thru the drive thru today and ordered 3 - 6 piece steak finger meals. Got home and they were all chicken. The chicken was terrible. I went out of my way to go to the closest Dairy Queen (I live in Keller/Alliance) and when I got home, I got to eat cold chicken. It tasted like it had been sitting on a counter for 2 hours which is likely because no one orders the chicken fingers because they are terrible. DQ is good at steak fingers, burgers and shakes, not chicken. I will not be back. I guess there is a reason all the DQ's are shutting down. When I called the store, no one answered which should be expected based on the caliber of management at this location. I feel sorry for the franchise owner at this location, I'm sure they are losing their money with this investment.
Made it home last night and they only gave me a single meat and no cheese on what was supposed to be a belt buster with cheese. Thanks a lot
I guess this Dairy Queen thinks their customers don’t see them in the drive thru when you pass out the wrong food to a customer please remake the food for the customer that didn’t receive the order that decided to get passed out wrong and then insist that they did not when one had strips and a burger which comes in a carry bag not a paper bag and the bag sat there and they didn’t remake the food they wanted the pay for food that was handled by other customers I do not think so and then get upset when asked to remake nooooope I’m good let me go to the bathroom as a customer or pick my face as a customer or anything as a customer that we do not know if they’ve washed their hands or not, but handled our food and then you insisted to get mad because we wanted the food remade because we seen them do it. They were in a convertible. I’m good. Take some consideration into y’all food and your customers. That’s horrible would you like for somebody to handle y’all food when you do not know where their hands have been I don’t think so.
Rude lady at the speaker. Pulled up to the window and she had an attitude with us because she couldn’t hear us. Called my voice mousy. Uncalled for and bad customer service/rude. Didn’t even apologize for the speaker being complete crap.
My husband decided to order food from here last week, I had to meet him in Rhome because I was going to a huge sale and he was getting our daughter from me so they could go home, but he was hungry and we met at this DQ, he texted me from inside saying there were so many flies inside and I knew I should've told him don't get food from there, but he did and got super sick after he ate their food. He was fine all throughout the day until he ate here. So please beware...my husband did get food poisoning from this place very recently
The last few years have gone down hill. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but my last visit was very disappointing. I ordered a pumpkin pie blizzard and it was literally vanilla ice cream, with crust crumbs and whipped cream on top. No pumpkin. Today was my 19th wedding anniversary and this was the only thing I really wanted to do.
Went there for dinner tomight with my family. Couldn't get the order right, fries were gross, but the worst part , one of the employees family/friends came in with a toddler girl, and they all went back to the kitchen area, a few minutes later this little girl came out of there and to our table, proceeded to climb in the booth with us, then climbed on the table, poured salt everywhere including all over my husbands hat. No one even had a clue she was doing that, finally they came out of the back area and someone came and grabbed her.. needless to say, we left without or blizzards as we were in utter disbelief and disgusted. That's what happens when there are 0 adults there running the business or supervising the teenagers.
Terrible service the last two visits. I gave them a second chance before leaving a review, but this time I had to leave. Staff are huddled around talking amongst each other completely ignoring customers in line. My first visit the food sat in the window with all items present for 3 minutes before I informed a worker who finally got it ready for us, they were too busy talking. Second time we stood there and a girl asked if we needed help (obviously) and then said give us one minute. Why is every employee not capable of taking an order it’s the easiest thing in the store. Finally what I presume to be one of the managers gets to the counter and we said we are leaving because it took several minutes. She apologized and said she was on the phone with her daughter. Either train your employees to help relieve you or take personal phone calls outside of working hours. Very dis appointed because I love Dairy Queen but this location has terrible employees. If it were up to me I would fire every single one of them and start with a new staff that actually wants to work.
Got the steak finger basket. As you can see in the photo, 2 pieces are way over done and hard and looks like they have been sitting under heater for hours. The other 2 are ok looking but look under done. The gravy is basically water, not thick at all! Also, got so little fries, usually you get much more than that. I will not be eating this.
