Great food, poor service. The catfish platter is really nice & crisp well fried filets, and the fried okra was surprisingly very good! the chicken tender salad 🥗 is really delicious an absolute must try! The only problem is that the service is not nice or friendly. The young female taking our order could improve her customer skills by making us feel like we’re not interrupting her day. Not much to ask..Maybe just a simple smile would do. The prepayment asks for a gratuity. I would have not tipped at all had I known that the older female expediting the orders to the tables would be so rude. We sat down at an empty booth and noticed it wasn’t quite clean, so I asked her if she could wipe it down. She had a very rude demeanor and then walked away leaving the seats wet from her hand towel. So we had to grab napkins and dry our seats and table. She knew the seats were wet so it purposely left that way as we stood by waiting to sit. Then When she brought our food, I asked her for Tabasco and she pointed to the shelves in front of the kitchen implying it’s self serve. I gave her a cold look and said “ok thank you “ She walked away with no response..then brings the Tabasco back to our table. out of many restaurants to choose from, even if a place has a great menu with tasty items, if the service is bad it ruins the entire experience of enjoying the great food…Disappointing.

Food is pretty good. Burgers are hand pattied. I like their breakfast too.. They have the best Rye toast this side of the Mississippi. Order food at counter and a surly woman will bring it to you. The decor is tired and worn and needs a remodel.

Food was good but the shrimp were overcooked. Potatoes were awesome. Waiter was rude tho. I asked her for bbq sauce. She made a mean face walked off n never came back.

Good burgers, awesome mushrooms, catfish wasn’t cooked well enough, staff wasn’t as attentive as I would have liked. They were very friendly but had to ask for items instead of being offered items.

My husband and I stopped in for the first time here. Overall, the pricing seems very fair. Quality of the food is good - HOWEVER, the reason for the 3-star on food would be the fried items we received. My husband had chicken fried steak 🥩, and we shared an order of fried mushrooms 🍄‍🟫. They tasted identical - I believe it’s because they are fried in the same oil, which tasted on the old side. We ate 1 mushroom each and couldn’t eat anymore. He said had it not been for the oil - the chicken fried steak would have been a lot better. My baked potato with grilled chicken was good - I added salsa which made it a lot better. The only thing I wasn’t fond of was the bacon - it seemed old. At least it wasn’t bacon bits! Maybe it was an off day - I’m not sure if we’d go back just because of this initial experience.

Normally don't complain... But this is ridiculous. I paid $17 for a chicken salad and got three small pieces of smoked chicken and corn bread Where's the rest of the chicken? I feel completely ripped off! 😔 By the way the salad is fresh just almost nothing of chicken for the portion and price!

It was ok. The waitress who was bustung her a^^ was a pain. We had a large group of 70 and 80 yr olds. She kept making us stop and wait as she rushed by empty handed, blocked paths with carts and got uoset when we moved it to get by etc. Walker and cane users deserve respect.

Annoyed with this 9ers location. 2 months ago when I went to pick up my order I waited about 30 minutes inside because they never started making it and once they realized that I heard them tell the kitchen about it and the girl whispered to the other cashier but they didn’t say anything to me about it and just offered me a drink while I wait more. Now tonight when I went to pick up my order the burger sucked and they put like one crumble of blue cheese on my blue cheese burger and I guess it like melted. The food is not worth it for the price.

Money wasted. Was going to Joy Love Bird burger shop but they were close on Sundays. So I went down the street to this establishment for a burger. Ordered the bacon cheese burger combo $14. No seasoning or flavor. Bun was not fresh. Too bun off and tried a few bites of just meat and bacon. Had a funny taste trashed more than half the burger. Next time I’ll go to McDonald’s or just wait until Joy Love Bird is open. Never will get another penny from me.

Me and my kids stopped by for dinner after baseball practice. It was 8:55 pm when we walked in and we were immediately told they were closed already. I asked what time they closed and I was told 9pm. I said you know it’s not 9pm yet right and it’s 8:55 to be precise. I was told sorry we are closed. I am sorry too and will not be back again….ever.

Today at around 3 I ordered the Philly cheese steak for take out. I went in to get my order and the girl was taking another order on the phone but my order was already prepared. While standing there I saw 2 of the 3 guys cooking eating in the cooking area which isn't a good thing. So Upon getting my food home we opened our boxes to greased out soggy fries that had been sitting for a long time. This is not the first time. Once they tasted like fish because they were cooked in the same oil as seafood. We had not been back for years but we're giving it another try because it is in the neighborhood. I am not sure how possibly your cooks can serve food at these standards. Well guess It will be another couple of years since 9ers can't seem to get it together.
