I really enjoyed my lunch on Feb 27th. I didn’t catch my waiter’s name but he was a super nice guy. We ate outside in the patio. I had a pick three lunch menu and totally loved the 1/2 chicken club sandwich, tomatoe soup and delicious fries! Excellent! Portions are great and price is right! Everything was super fresh tasting. I also enjoyed a Bloody Mary which was very tasty! I recommend Lazy Dog for sure
Food was amazing! Our waiter Chase was very attentive and helpful.. it was my husbands and I, first time ever .. he made sure to give us recommendations on food and drinks. The general manager also visited our table , and gave us complementary home made chips (they were delicious) will definitely be back !! Service and food was excellent.
I’ve been to Lazy Dog Restaurant several times over the years, and it continues to be one of my go-to spots. The atmosphere is always welcoming—comfortable, laid-back, and perfect whether you’re meeting friends, having a casual business lunch, or just grabbing a drink at the bar. The décor has that warm, lodge-style feel that makes you want to stay awhile. The food has consistently been solid. Everything I’ve ordered has been well-prepared, flavorful, and served fresh. You can tell they put thought into their menu—there’s a good variety without it feeling overwhelming. Whether you’re in the mood for something lighter or a more indulgent meal, there’s always something that hits the mark. Portions are generous, and the presentation is always on point. What really stood out to me on this most recent visit was the bar experience. I’ve sat at the bar before, but this was the first time the bartender actually started a genuine conversation with me instead of just taking an order and moving on. That personal touch makes a big difference. Not only was the service attentive and professional, but it also felt authentic. Because of that conversation, I ended up learning about—and signing up for—their beer program, which I’m genuinely excited to try. It wasn’t a pushy sales pitch at all. It felt like a recommendation from someone who knew the product and thought I’d enjoy it. That’s how you build customer loyalty. Addie and Jillian are the best. They made the experience even better with their energy, friendliness, and attention to detail. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and it shows in how they treat guests. Overall, Lazy Dog continues to deliver a consistently great experience, but this visit stood out because of the exceptional service. Good food brings you in, but great people keep you coming back. I’ll definitely be back again soon.
I’ve been here twice because of their lemon chicken with cauliflower mash. The chicken is always tender, and tasty. Served with healthier version of mash and delicious, crisp vegetables. Servers have been very nice and attentive. Ambiance is good and dog friendly. There is bar seating, booth seating, table seating and outdoor area seating.
My first visit was excellent!!!! It was cold in the spot I was sitting but my waiter and the manager were very polite and just enough friendly! My food was delicious. I also ordered from their TV dinner menu to take home frozen to cook. I can't wait to try them tonight. I will visit again...huge menu...lots to try.
Wow! First time here and the service Janet gave my partner and I, and pup was impeccable. Food was delicious and they have a doggy menu/doggy friendly environment. Loved it so much! Thanks Janet! Will be back for sure.
We had such a great experience at The Lazy Dog. The service was some of the best we’ve had in a long time—attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. The food was incredible, every dish was full of flavor and clearly made with care. The drinks were just as impressive and perfectly crafted. Honestly, everything was so good that we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Can’t wait to go back!
Let me start by saying I am a visual eater. I have ever been to this establishment but I always pass its swanky looking building omw to work. I was cruising Uber Eats one day and saw a fish and chips lunch special from Lazy Dog and let me tell you I was PLEASANTLY surprised! Everything looked just like the menu photo. The fries were hot and crispy. The battered fish was buttery and encased in the thinnest of batter making it also crispy and not overly breaded. It was served with apple cider coleslaw, tartare and a lemon half. I’m not a big fan of dill as I feel most places it is too sour overpowering the food but the tartare sauce was so heavenly and refreshing as Lazy Dog uses citrus as an ingredient! Genius! I felt like I was sitting seaside eating a catch fresh out of the water. 10/10
Our new go to place! The korean bibimbap, loco moco and fries are 🔥🔥🔥. Serving size great for price as well. Would definitely go back.
Best experience in a very long time! The staff was incredible! From our smiling Kay, whom recommended the delectable dish I thoroughly enjoyed, to Jared that welcomed us personally being our first time dining experience and of course Attie whom was welcoming and made us feel warm and fuzzy! The food is excellent. Every dish at our table was perfectly executed and looked, smelled and tasted delicious! My compliments to the chef and kitchen staff! This is a must place if you want an awesome casual patio delicious meal with your favorite friends (which included my fur baby Yoda, he had grilled chicken over rice and vegetables) The new York strip was the best ever! Not too mention the desserts omg I enjoyed the variety of margaritas, loved the mango! Everything was perfect! Thank you!
I’ve had lunch here with my family and friends! Customer Service and food is great! Today was my daughter’s B-day! and Marleen our servant was awesome!
Addi, Sommer and, Jared were an awesome team. The service was exceptional, the girls anticipated our needs before we even asked. The return visit was just as personal even though they were closing soon and Addi remembered me from almost 3 weeks ago and what I ordered. The outside fire pit and the food was the same Great!! ❤️😊🙃 See y’all soon
I certainly enjoyed the Idaho Grilled Trout dinner on 1/31/26. Delicious and rare to find in the area. The presentation was awesome. And to top it off we had the best service - I wish I would have gotten her name. She was patient, looked up my rewards, and made sure she gave excellent service. Further, the atmosphere was very pleasant.
Wow! The service was amazing! Every one is hospitable. I ordered the Korean Ribeye Bibimbap. It was delicious. The meat was just right of spicy hot.The marinated cucumber and carrots were delicious. My husband ordered the Campfire pot roast and it also was delicious. I saved half of mine so I can continue savoring it the next day and to save space for desert. We ordered Apple-huckleberry open face pie! We were just going to eat half to save some for tomorrow, but we ate all. It was perfect. You must try this place. Also they have a fireplace outside that you can eat around it. Perfect for a cold day.
First time here, and we were very well taken care of. Nicole and I believe a manager as well were incredibly kind and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious. There was just something about this place that felt really nice: clean, spacious, and comfortable. We’ll definitely be coming back. Top-notch service all around.
I’ve gone to lazy dog many times, but first time to this location and I must say this location is great!! The service was amazing and everyone was super sweet. Main reason why I’m writing this review is because the new SEASONAL item, hot honey feta dip was amazinggggggg, Must try and I hope they never get rid of this appetizer! Great people, great food, must go!
I was skeptical to eat at this place, but decided to try anyway. The bibimbap bowl, nice. The meat was great, with only a hint of sweetness, complimented with not greasy spinach and carrots and cucumber. The bacon cheese biscuits were good too, but hubby and I only split one and took the rest home because we ate all the complimentary homemade potato chips (for us first timers) that the manager offered! Our server( didn't get her name) was super at her job! The cleanliness of the place, was another super plus for me. We will be back!
First time ever at a Lazy Dog. I’m working out of town and decided to stop by and try it for lunch I had the barbecue bison meatloaf, and it was very good I also noticed on the menu they had these retro TV dinners to go, working on the road being able to pop these in the oven for dinner during the week. It’s going to be great. highly recommend!
Dined tonight for our first time! We had John take care of us! What a great guy! He shared some of his favorite dishes and we went with some of his recommendations! They were all so delicious! Fried deviled eggs, Parmesan chips, fried chicken dinner and Korean beef were alllll A HIT! Definitely trying the desserts next time! And can’t wait to bring my family out! Definitely asking for John as well!
We LOVE the Lazy Dog restaurant located in Richmond, Texas. The food is exceptional and the service is the best in Texas!!! We especially LOVE Jaz Batiste!!! We followed her from the Stafford, Texas location to the new location in Richmond, Texas. We have had the best meals here but what we treasure the most is seeing Jaz. She is a bright and beautiful young woman who is going places in her career with Lazy Dog. Please visit the restaurant and ask for her. Tell her that Cristi and David sent you. You won’t be disappointed with the delicious meals and the fabulous service!!!
I ate dinner here this evening and it was very good. Do yourself a favor and definitely check it out. Harley my server at the bar was amazingly attentive and showed me all of the different specials. Tim one of the managers came over to thank me and sent me a complimentary appetizer. The ribs were not undercooked and not overcooked which in a restaurant is very hard to do. They have amazing appetizer deals at happy hour, a $15 food special each night which includes dessert and they have frozen TV dinners you can take home to put in your freezer for only $11. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.
We visited recently to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We love their Brussels sprouts especially. We are vegetarian, very limited food options so, we just feed on few sides. The hostess was very courteous & friendly. They have a good collection of cocktails, and are pretty good. We tried a hostess recommended cocktail but unfortunately, we didn’t like it. They were kind enough to not charge us.
This was our first time here. Very nice ambiance. The staff and guests were all very friendly during our dinner visit. My server Jasmine was very friendly, efficient and was knowledgeable in regards to the menu. The food was fresh and cooked correctly to order. The Brussels spouts were good bit a tad bit zesty. Tim, the MOD was on the floor checking on guests at their tables. He was friendly and very attentive. They have a very nice outdoor patio area. The inside was very spacious and clean. Overall we had a wonderful first time experience. One of my favorites about this specific restaurant is they are dog friendly and you can order a meal for you pups. Options are Grilled chicken breast or hamburger patty with the options of white or brown rice with peas and carrot medley; All for only $5.00.
This was our first time at Lazy Dog, and we had a great experience! The restaurant is spacious, and we were greeted right away. Our server, Allison, was fantastic—she took the time to walk us through the menu and explain our options. Every dish we ordered was packed with flavor (a bit on the salty side for our taste, but still delicious). The portions were generous, perfect for sharing among our group of five. We’ll definitely be back! PS - the butter cake is also amazing!
Large space and very accommodating! Also offers free parking. We for a family brunch and there were able to create a special pretty dessert for my father in laws birthday celebration. I ordered the bibimbap bowl and my husband ordered the pbnj burger. Great dishes, just wish the bibimbap was less spicy and more closer in flavor profile to an Asian restaurants taste. The pbnj burger tasted great according to my husband .
Lovely place. Great ambiance. 1st time. Mngr gifted spiced chips with extreme flavor of vinegar. Ruined the tast buds for dinner. Had already ordered house bread which was fabulous. DINNER: Fish 'n chips with plain french fries. American burger which has 2 patties, and plain French fries. Except the plain fries with the burger had the same vinegar coating as the appetizer chips. Why. Too Much. Ordered well done meat, the stick in the sandwich read 'med well'. Ppl on chemo can't have blood products. So, my dinner mate ate the majority of my sandwich. Waiter was so so busy. Waited so long for refill on empty drinks, the food went cold. 2 ppl for finger food dinner @ $63.
Impressive Variety and Family-Friendly Vibe A few friends recommended this spot, so we decided to give it a try—and we’re glad we did. The menu is impressively diverse, offering American, Asian, Cajun, and gluten-free options, along with a separate lunch menu and a solid dessert lineup. It’s a great place if you’re dining with a group that likes a lot of variety. The restaurant has a clean, open layout with a large patio area—great for bigger parties or catching a breeze on nice days. It does get a little loud due to the openness of the space, but the atmosphere is casual and welcoming. We started with the complimentary Parmesan chips, which were a thoughtful touch (though not quite our taste), and we appreciated receiving a free appetizer as first-time guests. The Kobe Korean bowl stood out—the egg was perfectly cooked, the sauce was balanced, and the rice was spot on. Great portion size for a lunch item. The brownie with ice cream and s’mores topping was rich and delicious—definitely a must-try. The pizza sticks were decent, and the kids’ menu was surprisingly impressive—not only in variety but also in design. It came in full color with games and activities to keep little ones occupied while waiting. We were interested in the deviled eggs, but unfortunately, they only offer them fried—no alternative available. Still, the menu is big enough that we’ll be back to try more. A unique touch: they offer frozen meals to-go for $11, which could be a convenient option on busy nights. There’s also a good range of both cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. Final thoughts: Friendly service, broad menu, and some thoughtful extras. We’d definitely return—either for a casual lunch or a night out with friends.
