We had a wonderful experience. The food was great, the atmosphere was perfect and our server, Victoria just made everything perfect. We will absolutely be requesting her going forward. She just elevated the entire experience. Thank you for a wonderful date night ♥️
WHERE TO START! The wife and I just celebrated our anniversary at this spot and boy am I impressed! Parking great, atmosphere was the right setting for such an occasion and the food/service really made our day. Never ate fondue before. I really enjoyed the experience. Our server, Ethan explained all and hit it out the park with his recommendations. The desert platter was just as delicious as the main course! I highly recommend.
Always a great experience here! I’ve done solo as well as date nights & friend dates here. The food is consistently delicious, and the four-course option makes it such a fun and unique outing. It’s more than just dinner—it’s an experience. My server Jenna was so sweet and attentive, which made everything even better. Can’t wait to come back!
Taylor was our waitress and did an incredible job serving our table. She was ready to answer any question we had, and even encouraged us to ask any question that we thought of. The cheese fondue was excellently paired with bread pieces and cut vegetables, the meat that was prepared for us looked like it was done with care and was easy for us to grill in the pan provided. The chocolate explosion was a very cool sight to behold and the strawberries that were paired with it, alongside an array of different sweet treat options, were some of the best we’ve ever had when paired with melting chocolate. Overall our experience was phenomenal, and I hope to come back again at some point for another worthy celebration.
My wife is a school counselor and this was the 1st week our kids were back in school, so we decided we'd have a special dinner for completing their first week. The Melting Pot is always top-notch, always good staff and always good food. It was our kids first time trying fondue they had a blast. The staff is very knowledgeable and attentive. Few things if you've never been make sure you have plenty of time especially if you're doing the full course meal. The Melting Pot is definitely not a 5k but a marathon. Also for the average Joe it is a little pricey, for my family of four including a bottle of wine and soda for the kids before tip was about $220. The meal an experience is worth the money, just be prepared if you need to leave a child has payment. The bar is currently closed due to covid yeah, but when is open they typically have bar specials that a little bit more affordable when you can try a lot of different things. We got the Wisconsin cheese, vegetable bouillon and then for dessert with chocolate turtle. I mean all of its good but you can't beat the desert lots of little finger foods like strawberries, bananas, brownies, pound cake and rice krispie treats to dip can any of them fantastic concoctions they have. Great place for a nice cozy date night or even just stopping in to get dessert. If you've never been save some money a.m. make a reservation.
Love the Melting Pot. Always a great experience. Service is amazing.
Wonderful food. Wonderful hospitality. Wonderful atmosphere! Today my husband and I visited our first ever Melting Pot for a birthday celebration and opted to do the four course meal for two! Christian was our server and truly was amazing! He was very attentive to us and really went above and beyond to make our experience at the Melting Pot special!
The fondue experience is amazing! The made date night so special. All the food is fresh! Once they turned on the AC,the atmosphere became very romantic. All the couples around us seemed to enjoy the night also. Our server was very attentive. Great birthday treat also!
Most of us in our party of 12 have never had a Melting Pot experience. I personally had an amazing time. The atmosphere was fun, our servers were super helpful in guiding us through the whole dinner. Thank you all for a great evening of food and laughs.
Love this place! We went on Sunday at 7pm. The waiter was on it most of the evening and had good pacing. Our drinks were full. The food was yummy and fresh, nothing was stale. The atmosphere here is dark and intimate which is nice. If you have poor eyesight you will need a light here.
If you like cheese, chocolate and wine. This is your place to go. I am a little biased because I am not partial to either. I liked more of the entrees with the broth and meats, in addition to the fruits dessert options. The service was nothing short of amazing. They will steer you in the right direction if you don’t know what to get. For what its worth, I would definitely bring the kids back for the chocolate and desserts.
Lovely place for special occasions and birthdays or anniversary. Quiet and mellow, music is always smooth and on point. Service is a hit or miss and food is always delicious and worth the money. Love when they have Salud nights or endless fondue. They are always willing to make the day special for any occasion.
Matthew was a phenomenal server. Knew the menu and what to suggest. Had alot of fun getting pictures where we were all visible. 10/10 would recommend. Food was delicious definitely try the broccoli in the mojo juice. Turtle chocolate was on point. Can't wait to come back!
Everytime I go here, the food and service is great! Also, if your kids get straight A's all year, they will give them a free meal. I definitely would recommend this restaurant for every occasion.
Went here for a mother-daughter date. It was a wonderful experience and we can't wait to go again. Our server was exceptional and made this first time experience even better.
The Melting Pot is a great date night option. I’ve been a number of times and each and every time, it’s like the first time. The atmosphere is so peaceful and quiet although it’s a restaurant. The staff are friendly And offer assistance if you’re new or need helping deciding. The drinks are good and not too strong. It’s truly money well spent. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and I think any option you choose truly is a great option, you won’t regret.
Me and my wife went here last Saturday for our 5 year dating anniversary and had the best time! I’ve had fondue regularly with my family but she hadn’t so it was a great experience and the staff made it super easy and fun to learn how to cook our own meal with the oil fondue and everything was delicious. Our waitress was Haley and she was nothing but class and so accommodating for us. Definitely recommend going here for a special occasion or date.
What a perfect night! My husband and I hadn't had a date without our daughter since she was born, almost 15 months ago! So I wanted it to be special and MP didn't disappoint. Super friendly staff- hostess Casey called beforehand to confirm my reservation and confirm our (late) anniversary celebration, the waiter Chaz was energetic, helpful and attentive and the manager Megan stopped by to check in during our visit. The food was phenomenal. We got the Big Night Out with skillet cook top and everything was good, the teriyaki marinated sirloin was to die for. The dessert trio add on was worth the 5 pounds I'm sure I gained. Those cream puffs and macaroons, OMG! Plus, a clean atmosphere to boot! Very happy, we'll be back, and hopefully it won't take 15 more months!
Jacob served us well for my Birthday Dinner. My wife and i had the complete dinner for 2. Everything was fantastic. We had the Wisconsin Cheese Appetizer, The Classic Entree and the Turtle Chocolate Dessert. We just had a great time.
Great place to celebrate our anniversary! All the employees there were so kind. We had a great time and will be back for the service alone.
Really great experience! Our two servers ( one a trainee) were exceptional! We got the alpine cheese fondue as an appetizer and a lobster tail that we were told was an entree but was rather small even for one person but was really tasty. We will be back!
Family birthday dinner attended by 3 generations. Menu covered everyone's favorites. We did the 4 course selection. The serving sizes were enormous. Our server, Zack, did a great job! He offered great suggestions and was very attentive.
We had the most delightful family meal on a cozy snowy night to celebrate our son's birthday. Seth was our most attentive and kind server. Thank you. We always love coming here.
We stopped by on a whim, because our usual place nearby was closed. We have not been for several years and regret it now. I fondue was excellent and Ethan our server was very attentive. We had a wonderful experience and will make sure we visit more often in the future.
Ethan took such good care of us while out for our daughter's birthday. Our drinks stayed filled, the pace between courses was just right and he made sure to keep in mind my gluten free needs with each course. We had a great night! Thank you, Ethan!!
We came to The Melting Pot tonight for a mom-daughter night and had the best time. Jenna was absolutely wonderful and made the whole experience feel special and fun. We will definitely be back!
Everything was great. We visited on Christmas Eve with another family (7 total), they were very busy, but the staff made sure we were always taken care of. Food was delicious.
Absolutely amazing evening! My boyfriend and I weren’t celebrating anything special—just a standard Thursday date night so we chose the ‘Thursdate’ special, when we lead to our table it had rose pedals scattered with a nice small lit candle which really set the mood for the evening. The bartender who hosted us as we walked in was terrific, super friendly and welcoming. Our server was TERRIFIC to say the least. I believe her name was Jenna and we didn’t have to ask her for a single item—she brought over refills when we were half empty, she cleared the table and brought us our food promptly, she was perfect! You definitely get what you pay for at this location, food looked exquisite, staff is immpecable and nothing was left a-miss. 110% recommend!
Oh my goodness...fabulous. And our waiter, Ethan was knowledgeable and fun. He explained the courses and special flavors. Ethan made the entire experience worth every minute. I AM A MELTING POT FAN...thanks for Ethan. I appreciate it and your attention and service.
Had a wonderful experience today celebrating an early Christmas with family. Very relaxed, awesome service and great food. Tried the fondue oil for the first time - highly recommend.
We've gone twice on new year's eve, and they're always slammed, but the staff is always super nice and attentive, and it's a fun atmosphere for a slower paced dinner anyway!
Taylor, our server, greeted our table immediately as we arrived, with her big smile and knowledgeable explanation of the menu, patiently and thoroughly unfolding the feast before us for those in our party who had never experienced The Melting Pot before. We also enjoyed those who greeted us at the front desk, who also took pictures of us together. What a great idea for the restaurant to have the valentine, balloon arch with all the props to hold up for the pictures. We even roped our server into being in a picture with us. The food was scrumptious, the atmosphere delightful, and it’s why I keep going back. I highly recommend!
The melting pot has never disappointed us. We don’t care for cooking meat so we stick with cheese fondue and chocolate fondue. And their salads are delicious also. Try the big night out for first visit to determine your opinion on the meat fondue. It’s all delicious but we are impatient and just don’t care for cooking the meat. This will remain my favorite restaurant for birthdays and some other special occasions.
The experience was great. The fondue cheese for the appetizer is super filling. The main course was tasty but the chocolate fondue for dessert was worth it all. Our server was fantastic. His name is Ethan. You have to ask for him. He makes everything fun and helps if you need it when cooking your main meats! It’s an experience you should try. If you just want dessert and drinks for happy hour this is awesome and fun.
We enjoy coming around this time of year. We get the full meal for two and it is perfect for myself my husband and our tween daughter. Plus I love the chocolate covered strawberries they give me for my birthday.
Hadn't been here in years but went on the spur of the moment when I learned that one of my visiting friends had NEVER had fondue. Just HAD TO FIX THAT...so off we went to HAPPY HOUR ... to experience the tasty cocktails and the ooey-gooey deliciousness of cheese fondues! We had the Classic Alpine on principal ( since she had never had one) and tried another more spicy one as well. We sat at the bar and had excellent service 👌 from our friendly bartender, Jacob T. He can make a killer cocktail and will take good care of you! The prices are a bit steep here...but you are really paying for the experience and atmosphere as much as the food. We plan to return and go for the full meal experience in the near future. Give them a try for something different, fun, and delicious . (Why not start with the HAPPY HOUR? ;) )
It was a busy night. My friends were visiting from LA, and they love The Melting Pot. I have never been to one. I will say WE just felt looked over and forgotten a lot. My friend did mention how the service was to the manager. We understand how things are not always as planned in that industry. I'm hoping they are prepped for other holiday seasons, and if I choose to go again, I get the experience my friends said they usually receive at this restaurant.
First time there and overall was a great and surprising experience. I thought cooking our food was a strange concept but made for a fantastic evening out. Had the 4 course dinner, apps with dipping cheese, bread, broccoli, green apples and cauliflower, dipping cheese was ok as we prob chose the wrong one, was ok for us. House salad with a nice honey-mustard dressing, main course was 2 meats, salmon, shrimp, chicken, and 2 raviolis along with I think 5 dipping sauces which were all great, dessert was a mix of awesome choices, chocolate was a little too dark/deep for me but was very good. Nathaniel our server helped us and explain it all during our meal. Price point was a bit too high vs amount of food but all courses, made for a filling meal. Try this place out, it was great.
Quality ingredients, fun experience, good service...but scripted. Not our first time at a Melting Pot. Consistent experience which is fun and actually delicious. There is definitely a premium on this so plan on at least $70 per adult. The service was fine but very corporate-scripted and kind of soulless.
Overall a good experience and good tasting food and nice waiter and staff. Our reservation was at 9:30pm (they close at 11:00pm) so while I do understand our reservation was a bit later in the evening, I felt they rushed us along a little more than normal. My plate that came out (empty) had sitting water on it I had to wipe off. The cheese came already melted instead of mixing it in front of you, and the cheese was taken from us without asking if we were done. They shorted my wife one serving of pot stickers (this was corrected though), some of the fondue desert options (brownies mainly) were super cold, almost frozen. However, I do know that our reservation was closer to close than normal, which is why I’m still giving this a 4 star, and the staff was still nice and food great.
Nice atmosphere. Really a place for more than 1 person. Waitress Meghan was really attentive. There was alot of food. Don't go unless you realize how expensive it can get. Food was really good and very filling.
We went there for brunch which is from 11 to 3 on Saturday. It is $30 per person and you get to choose a cheese fondue, two entrees and a chocolate fondue. After finally trying their food after years of wanting to go— it was pretty fantastic. What wasn’t as good was how long we waited. Perhaps it was because we were the first ones there around 11:30 or so but it took them quite some time to make the food. And our waiter forgot our lemonade until we reminded him, but it happens. Their fondue was the highlight of the meal, especially the chocolate one. The entrees were good in comparison, but there was an obvious winner. Although I wish we told our waiter not to mix in the eggs, ham etc into our cheese fondue because there was too much going on. And FYI we got free chcocolate strawberries by “checking-in” on Yelp. We came there around 11:30 and left around 1:00. But the fondue was worth it. I recommend coming in after 12 on Saturday.
Came here for our anniversary and while we enjoyed the experience, the service and the quality of the food did not meet the cost of the occasion. We were left without a waitress for upwards of 45 minutes and the entire meal ended up lasting 3 hours because of the delay in between courses. The booths are incredibly small and the table does not accommodate the amount of dishes needed to enjoy the experience. We appreciated the dessert plate with happy anniversary on it. However, We will not be returning.
Went for my birthday because I wanted to see what the hype was and well...overhyped and overpriced in my opinion. We enjoyed everything but the actual entree itself. While service was great the overall restaurant didn't land for me. Probably should have picked somewhere else for my birthday :/
Came here for a family members birthday. The atmosphere of the restaurant is fantastic! The service was good too. However the food it self wasn’t very impressive. Honestly it’s a little over hyped in my opinion. I recommend the Green Goddess Chedder cheese (that was my favorite) however the Bacon Bacon Bacon wasn’t worth it. If you like a sweet cheese then it would definitely be for you (the bacon was too sweet for my liking). The salads were okay. The entrees were not very good….. it was very hard to cook on the grill and the broth just doesn’t work for steaks…. The cook times they have labeled at the table don’t really represent the accurate amount of time it takes to cook most items. The chocolate fondue at the end was by far the best part. We got the s’mores and the flaming turtle both were fantastic. Overall go for it the cheese and chocolate. The place is definitely an interesting experience and I recommend trying it at least once. I do think it’s a little over priced considering you have to cook your own entrees.
Made reservations for Valentines day. Reservations was for 5pm. We weren't seated until 5:20pm. The server was prompt and professional. Disappointed the center of the breads, veggies & desserts even after heating in the pots. Very, very expensive. We should have purchased 1 entree for the both of us.
The service was really good, the food was fair to good, the restaurant was is great condition but the food took a super long time to come out, at least 30 minutes and I didn't understand it considering that it's all raw. The whole meal took 4 hours to complete for a so-so dinner. The bill was about $125 per person. I think this will be our last visit.
Bad quality for the price. I spent over $200 dollars for a cheap experience. The concept of the restaurant is a good idea but poor execution. -Appetizer: The bread was delicious. Apple slices instead of an assortment of fruit options really made the experience cheap. The veggies were not fresh and did not pair well with the cheese. The cheese portion is too large. Not only you would save money but less waste. Which makes me assume that the cheese is reused and reheated. Biggest let down was the salad. How do you run out of basic Cesar salad. My date and I salad looked basic, unappealing, cheap… -Entree’s: The focus on sauces outweighs the portion of meat. The entree felt more as an appetizer. Poorly paired vegetables. -Dessert: we had to get it to go. The staff made it apparent that they were closing. I’m not sure what is the point of having reservation times if the restaurant staff passive aggressive gestures of pushing you to leave. Food quality cheap Poor service 100% flare and a total social media trap
Bought party pack to have for wife's birthday. Absolutely worthless. $80 for $6 of stale chips and bread, 6 carrots and broccoli and a chopped up apple
Service was lacking immensely during my wife and I’s valentine’s day visit to the melting pot. I have never been so disappointed in a customer service and restaurant experience. I don’t ever write negative reviews normally but I felt like I needed to for this experience. We have dined at the melting pot previously a couple of times; however, we never experienced an experience this negative. Firstly, we had a 7:00 PM reservation and did not get seated at our table until 7:45 PM. We had other evening plans that I ended up having to completely cancel as we did not even begin placing our order until 8:00 PM. Secondly, our server, while she was very kind, clearly had other tables in a completely different section of the restaurant. She was barely present at all during our dining experience, and it appeared she forgot about us numerous times. It felt almost like a “let me drop off this food and run” kind of approach from her. Anytime we asked for anything it felt as if she needed to run and get to other things. Thirdly and lastly, the overall speed and duration it took to receive the courses/drinks of our four course dining experience was drastically long. I was bewildered by how long certain services were taking. For reference, we were in the restaurant from 7:45 PM when we were seated until 10:00 PM when we left. That is drastically longer than our previous times at this establishment. For example, when we expressed we would like Espresso Martinis with our dessert course (our final course) the Espresso Martinis took just about 25 minutes to get us and were severely watered down and room temperature. Almost as if they were sitting at bar for a very long time. I understand it is Valentine’s day and busy time for the service industry. However, it is clear the leadership and planning of the restaurant management and staff was lacking. Considering my total bill for the dining experience was $325.00, I expected a better quality of service.
