Lovely restaurant in Richmond with a super amazing ambiance, with food and service to match. Thomas, our server, was super attentive and a delight to my little one. They do have a children’s menu, just mentioning that as I didn’t see that highlighted on their website. Highly recommend and definitely be back.

Had a birthday lunch today at the Chiswick restaurant, it was amazing!! We had the prawns and squid to start, my fiancé had the duck tacos as a main and I had the sea bass. All food was exceptional, the Flying Goose Bloody Mary is to die for. Overall a ten ten experience, I was expecting it to be good as I’ve been to Annie’s several times but The Rock and Road blew us away.

Thoroughly enjoyed lunch here recently. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I chose the tofu curry and chocolate cake from their vegan menu and they were delicious. As was the Golden Peacock cocktail I treated myself to as well! The decor and atmosphere were great. I'd recommend and I'm sure I'll be back.

We had a lovely meal here, large group of us for my birthday. Needed a restaurant mid way between all of us and selected this based on the good reviews. So pleased with our choice. We were given such a warm welcome by the manager, seated in a lovely private alcove, which was stunningly decorated (love the lamp shades!). The manager casually asked what the occasion was, only to deliver the most gorgeous plate of deserts as a surprise at the end (have included a photo). What care for customer service. The food was excellent. I had a nut roast, and my kids had ribs. Mum had a shepherds pie and there were a couple of steaks and curries (probably other stuff but the excellent house Rosé makes the memory cloudy 😂). We loved it. Will definitely return again next time we all meet up half way. Thanks! Xx

We had such a great time at Rock&Rose the cocktails are so well presented and taste great, the food is incredible and a dessert platter?! Brilliant idea! Staff were lovely, welcoming and friendly. The chairs were like armchairs and super comfy. We would definitely come back.

Updated review. We have been going to Rock & Rose for over 10 years now & I would like to say it’s just as good as it was then but really it’s got even better. The cocktails made by the fantastic bar team are the best, so creative & with a style that you have never seen before. Adam is always on hand to make you a bespoke cocktail that rocks. The menu has a great choice & the food is delicious. Review from 10 years ago: Every time we go to Rock & Rose it's always busy. You can sit at the bar have 1 of the amazing cocktails they make while you wait for your table. Staff are always friendly & chatty, the decor is out of this world & we absolutely love it. The menu offers a good selection & the food is excellent. You have to give it go & you will want to go back.

We had such an amazing evening, perfectly relaxed for our stay in the area. We enjoyed the some amazing starters and mains for really good prices especially for the area. We would 100% be back. The food was great, the service excellent and the drinks perfect poured.

We hosted my sister baby shower at the R&R and had an amazing experience. The staff were so well accommodating, attentive and helpful despite being short staffed on the day. The food and drinks were amazing and I would definitely be coming back - as will the other ladies. Thank you! Ps. I recommend the salmon!

The cocktails, starters and desserts were excellent. The staff too were fantastic. The decor was quirky. Had an amazing evening with my friends. Definitely recommended. Will be back.

It’s not often that I’m blown away by a restaurant and the food. Rock & Rose did that. Great welcome by Kyle. Excellent attentive service from Jonno who took our orders. Now to the food. The seared scallops were outstanding in terms of quality and lemon thyme butter sauce to die for. The lamb shank massaman was outstanding not to mention tender as hell and plentiful. The malasian spices and peanut sauce was something else and the jasmine flavoured rice complemented it perfectly. As for the other dishes of my fellow diners they both were as blown away as myself. Decor was unique and with the plants created a lovely ambience. A long drive from Reading, Berkshire but worth it. Delicious meal followed up by a walk around Kew Gardens. A memorable day and experience.

Been to the rock and rose for a drink many times, have always found the staff so friendly and great at their job. Went there yesterday to have dinner would recommend duck tacos and the seared seabass if they're still on the menu. Thanks rock and rose staff!! ❤️

really delightful chicken milanese which came in a huge portion, would 100% recommend this meal and would definitely return to order it again. chips were great along with the cocktails. only downside with our experience here was that one of my friends ordered the cottage pie which was apparently not very nice at all and came in a small portion. regardless, fast service, nice atmosphere and very accommodating staff. would recommend!

Came here for dinner - wonderful decorations of the interior with so many details. Top-class cocktails at reasonable prices (just under £10). Food was excellent too.

Putting aside wonderful food, the cocktails Adam and his staff create are second to none. Simply stunning - it’s an experience worth trying!

We have been several times to this place. Cocktails are really nice and the staff at the bar is very friendly and can make almost any cocktail you ask them. Today I ordered a Pina Colada, which tasted amazing. I don't think you can find a better cocktail bar in Richmond. I have heard that food is also great, but I haven't tried yet. I am considering Rock and Rose for my next birthday party.

Such a lovely place! This restaurant has a very romantic atmosphere, the staff are very polite and lovely too. The food is very well put together and aesthetic, and the drinks are excellent too! If you are of Portuguese or Brazilian origin you will love their caipirinhas 😋. I will definitely be returning several times!

Came here for Valentine’s Day, really great restaurant, amazing decor, had a lovely outside are with outdoor heating, comfy seats and candles. Inside the restaurant is split into different sections which makes it more intimate. It was pricy but no too bad for Richmond, the food was amazing but the dessert needed improvement. I would 100% go back.

Great experience with a large group for Sunday lunch. The food was superb, the customer service was very friendly. I’ve been here several times with different groups and it has always been a special experience.

Great place for a meal with quality food. Excellent traditional Sunday Roast Beef Lunch with all the fixings. Highly enjoyable. Could perhaps have done with a couple more extra pieces of meat but all in all enjoyed. Been back twice now.

The most populated restaurant along the high street. The food and presentation was absoulutely amazing. The atmosphere was great and the decor was exciting to look at. So much going on everywhere. The waitress who served us was knowledgeable and patient. Loved it!

Stunning cocktails from bartender Adam - seriously this rivals some top Central London cocktail bars but in the heart of Richmond. We loved every cocktail that Adam served up - he was great even at dealing with our teetotal mocktail drinkers. This is your go-to place in the neighbourhood for sure ! Loved it !

Fresh, appealing and well prepared dishes which tasted divine. The waiting staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. It was a lovely way to spend our Sunday afternoon. We look forward to returning to Rock And Rose soon.

What an amazing meal! I went tonight for my birthday with my partner, they were so accommodating last minute as our original dinner plans fell through. The food was amazing, recommend the sashimi, arancini chicken and cod particularly! However the staff really made our visit, Alex and Ivo (I hope that’s correct!) were so knowledgable, welcoming and really made the experience, a huge asset to the place, you’ve gained two new customers! Thank you again!

I had a great time on Sunday at Rock & Rose, I hadn’t been for around 10years and was pleasantly surprised and it was even better than remembered. All staff were friendly and smiley. We were served by Gracie. We even received 2 x cocktails on the house 🙌🏾. I will be returning and often.

Came here for Sunday lunch after a stroll in Kew on a beautiful Sunny afternoon. Great vibe and food was good (Bang Bang Chicken Salad, Truffle and Parmesan Fries and House Salad) but stand out for me were the beautifully presented cocktails.

Had a lovely evening with friends. Short walk from the Richmond Railway station. Has outside seating as well. Food was fresh and tasted very good with good presentation. Cocktails and wine were good as well as the desserts. Would have liked to see a gluten free dessert but at least there was a vegan one. Host was very warm and welcoming and graciously let us stay a little past the 2 hour mark after our server made it a point to remind us…our server seemed to be a little less than polite at times even though we were very polite and friendly with him. Overall good experience and service from the other staff was very good. Will be back.

Rock and Rose in Richmond is absolutely amazing! From start to finish, our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. The food was divine—each dish crafted with care and bursting with flavour. We indulged in the BBQ ribs, Lobster and Shrimp Risotto, Shepherd's Pie, and the Seabass. Every bite was a testament to the chef’s skill, with beautifully cooked, mouthwatering mains that left us wanting more. For dessert, we shared the Sticky Toffee Pudding and the Apple & Plum Crumble, though we regretted not ordering one of each! The Sticky Toffee Pudding was heavenly—soft, moist, and pure perfection. The crumble was delightfully tart and delicious, though a touch more custard would have made it even better. The drinks were equally impressive, crafted to perfection, and presented with elegance. The attention to detail here truly elevates the overall dining experience. Whether you’re looking for a special night out or just a meal to remember, Rock and Rose delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended!

All good but not amazing. Will recommend but for me little bit weak menu. Food has been very good and will recommend for daily meal not for date's. Starter taste and looks was much better than main course, but taste is good

The place is beautiful, and the food was good but the service is poor, the waiter from Serbia was grumpy and making faces while taking the orders and when we were paying the bill. However Benjamin was friendly and professional.

Lovely place, very nice décor, service was spot on and food was very well prepared and tasty. One thing which I didn't like was lots of dust around for example the table lamp was very dusty.

Very Instagramable place! Cocktails were good and the steak was tasty. All served to a good standard of presentation. We ordered chateaubriand for 2 people, requested medium cooked but would say it came out med/ well. Value was really good, £32 to feed two. Will definitely visit again and recommend booking as we didn't see many free tables.

I loved the decor, it was a modern safari theme that was quite relaxing. We booked the private dining room. It’s open on both ends with you almost sat next to tables outside. There was also another party on a table next to us in the private dining room. If you’re looking to let loose with your party, I’m afraid it’s more dining room than private. Staff were extremely helpful but service was a little on the slow side as we had to wait for someone to pass(quite difficult due to the positioning of the private dining room). Overall the food was delicious, the cocktails were to die for and it’s an experience everyone should have at least once.

Everything we ordered (food) was very tasty the staff very friendly and the atmosphere is great !! However the only downside is although they do great cocktails and very detailed , they don’t serve simple such as Aperol (which they do have as a spirit in the bar). Bartender said he would make something similar to taste , however it was a very watery without taste drink. I never understood why he would not serve the Aperol I wanted.

Went for a Friday night dinner, we shared 2 starters (the tempura prawns and the sashimi) which were really nice and then shared both the curries for main which were also nice. The only thing I would mention is that the food menu is so varied with cuisines that it is a little confusing… but the service and ambience was lovely. I would definitely recommend!

Unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant because of the poor service and bad quality cocktails. We ordered 4 cocktails, not even one was proper cocktail, just nice presented. I was having a dinner with a family, our waiter Alex, who was serving us was not even providing a proper service: recommendations on menu and drinks. The restaurant was not busy, waiter was not focusing on clients. Very disappointing. The prices are high. The food was average.

Shame, I was so disappointed in R&R. We mentioned it was a friends 40th and we may as well not have. We didn't expect any freebies but an acknowledgement/bit of fuss would have been nice. Lovely cocktails but the food is overpriced for what was served. The tiger prawn curry was literally a dogs bowl of unseasoned curry sauce with about 4 average size prawns in and a frozen supermarket naan bread! The service was non existent and we we're not asked about how our food was at all. All in all, overpriced, dated & lacking customer service. Their website gives a totally different vibe that we just didn't get.

I was here the other day, the ambience is nice, really quirky and had a table booked for my guests. The food was good, I started with the chicken parfait which was homemade, and finished with the pork ribs. The cocktails were good, the service on the other side was really slow, it took a little while to ask for drinks and also it was difficult to get any of the servers to give us the bill. The restaurant was not busy so I would except the servers to be more attentive.
