I’ve been living in this neighborhood for a few years and the only regret I have toward C&B is that it took me so long to discover the absolute gem that’s been a block away from me this whole time. Cindy is great and you can tell not only by the way she interacts with regulars but how she treats you like one after going there a few times. Everything on their menu is on point and if anyone disagrees with me I’ll fight you to defend C&B’s honor.

Used to eat here often in 2019 when I lived in NYC. Cute little cafe run by a lovely couple. I remember it was Jan 2019, I had just landed in NYC from Singapore and stumbled on this cafe, and it just so happened that the owners too were Singaporean. Small world!

I cannot possibly recommend this cute breakfast place enough. It is super affordable & always delcious (best breakfast sandwich in town for under $5!) The owners work very hard and are always so sweet and welcoming. Certainly a fantastic hidden gem in this neighborhood, this place belongs on everyone's "must try" list.

On a quick glance it’s a basic deli/luncheonette. Front area has a few tables with plastic dividers for social distancing. So I read the reviews on their egg sandwiches. Anyone can make a bacon, egg and cheese but not everyone can make a delicious BEC. C and B make a delicious BEC, exactly how I ordered it. Yesterday was my first time there and I watched how C had a nice chat with the customer in front of me, then I engaged her in conversation and I left feeling like I had made a new friend. Nice people making good and reasonably priced food. I’ll definitely be back when in the area.

Amazing food—it smelled SO good when we walked in—and amazing staff! Everyone was so kind and attentive, and the back patio soothed my soul sitting in the sun. Food was delicious and my friend’s egg was cooked perfectly medium. This is a gem of a neighborhood spot.

Every neighborhood needs a lively diner with great service, good food, and reasonable prices. If you live around this place, look no further. Anything with spam and / or scallion pancake in it is good. Put hot sauce on your food, drink coffee, talk to the lady at the cash register, and get over your hangover.

This is my favorite breakfast spot in the neighborhood it’s family owned and run. Come for the food (the pastrami egg and cheese is unreal) stay for the vibes. Once you come in here a couple times you know everyone’s name and they know your usual. I love CB so much! they also have an outdoor patio that is so cute and quiet perfect place to start your morning.

I come here before work and it’s always a delight. The woman who works the counter recognizes me and is so polite. I really like the lemon iced tea- it’s so good and such a a reasonable price. I’ve tried the iced coffee too which was also really good. For the service, quality of what you’re getting, Ave the low prices, they can’t be beat

It’s rare to find a real diner in NY but this place is so much more than that. Found out they marinate, season, and bread their chicken themselves too, not pre frozen packaged. The coffee flavor was strong even through the ice with just the right amount of sweetness for my preference. Space may be small but it’s quaint and has a backyard space to enjoy the weather. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Will definitely come back to have more of their coffee and excited to try other things on the menu.

The scallion pancakes are perfectly flaky, and the cheese perfectly melty. The green tea pancakes are just the right amount of sweet, with a hint of sharpness from the green tea. We also got a couple of iced dirty matcha lattes — hers with strawberry and mine with vanilla. They use traditional Japanese matcha, and you can tell. Again, everything here was a 10/10. The food is delicious, but the family behind the counter is what makes C&B special. A true mom & pop shop, Crystal (I hope I’m spelling it correctly!!!) and her parents are so kind and so welcoming. I will be returning, and probably with everyone I know. Thank you C&B!!!

Don’t let the appearance fool you! This place is super yummy and has a variety of options. I recommend sitting outside in the back because there is a beautiful mural. I’ve ordered sandwiches and wraps here as of now, all very filling,....I wasn’t able to finish them in one sitting. I think it a couple who runs there place. They’re both polite to their customers, especially the woman who is super sweet with kids. I recommend you drop by and get yourself a well deserved meal for a reasonable price.
