KFC

It's alright. I do like their chicken and their sides. I mostly go for the chicken pot pie, though sometimes they run out. I used to love their KFC bowl but they've changed the potato to something more on the....thinner side, more runny, plain. They also changed the corn and I didn't care for the taste or feel so I'm not ordering that anymore. People are friendly. Reasonably clean.

First time I come here and the staff is extra eager to please. They asked me if I wanted to perform a survey, but i threw away my receipt. Too bad. But here it is in a nutshell. I give this place 3 stars overall. Cleanliness 3 stars. Order preparation time and accuracy - 4 stars, quality of food - 4 stars. Customer service - 3 stars, variety of menu 4 stars. Location and accessibility 5 stars. Restrooms - 2.5 stars (needed an intense cleaning) Good location for either fish or chicken, restaurant could use more attention in the dining area. Table had crumbs and was a bit sticky. Other than that it was an acceptable roadside pitstop on my way to Mcallen texas.

Always make you move from the drive up window even if no one is waiting. And the wait is long more than 10 minutes. If you're in a hurry don't go there..

Chicken pieces are very small, super greasy and looked and tasted like they were cooked hours ago. Buiscuit is very cold and super hard that can be used as a self defense weapon🙃.. fries omg terrible, maybe were cooked at breakfast time.. when is KFC going to be as it usef to? 😔

stopped by cuz my son wanted the five dollar box deal. we got it with two drumsticks. we had to pull up and wait just to be disappointed. my son's drumsticks were missin half the original recipe skin. one looked like it had been halfway eaten. i got pics. called them only not to get any answer. my son's mom passed away in January and today he was havin a bad day.he thought kfc would cheer him up only to be disappointed. thanks kfc. y'all suck. First two pics are one drumstick and the second two are the other drumstick

Unbelieveable how I had to wait 40 freaking minutes for a damn two piece chicken meal box! I mean, I thought chicken was suppose to be up and ready! but instead I get asked to wait 20 min to only go ask upon my order to be asked 20 more min bc chicken hasnt even been put up to fry yet! & to top it off, I wasnt given what I SPECIFICALLY ORDERED! What a disappointment, never again! If I could give this place negative rating stars due to employees handling KFC here in Rio Grande City, I definitely would have.

I went 3-02-22 5:12 p.m.and placed two orders 3 piece original meal and 2 oriinal piece meal. We dined in the restaurant the order came out quickly and it was horrible chicken. It tasted as if it had been under the heat lamp for 4 or 5 hours. It was dry and crunchy mind you I didn't order crispy chicken. The taste was overwhelming greasy.. No taste of original reciepe. I went to return only my plate. Told manager the chicken was dry and it had a bad taste. The Manager indicated it would take 20 mintues for fresh chicken. I said okay I'lll wait I had already paid and I was hungry. Well 20 minutes came and went. I saw a lot of orders being sent out to drive-thru. I went up to ask about my order I was told by manager she had just taken chicken down? I said okay, guess she will call me in a couple of mintues. Well I waited another 10 to 15 mintues. I went to an employee and asked about my order?? She told me it was still being made and it would take 3 mintues. I told her to please include a biscuit with my order because when I returned my plate the biscuit went along . I also requested if she could please include a mashed potato. So I could enjoy my full meal? When my order came out only the chicken came and I requested my biscuit and mashed potatoe. I was told the Manager had said she could give me a biscuit but no mashed potatoe. I went to speak to manager and asked her why? Well she said she just could not. I told her so YOU can give me OLD, Dry chicken and MAKE ME WAIT MORE THAN 30 minutes for chicken?? BUT you don't have the courtesy to give a mashed potatoe? MIND you it only has about 3 tablespoons of mashed potato. I told she was being ridiculous! She gave me the impresion as if she thought I was after a FREE MEAL. She's ridiculous BECAUSE I returned her chicken and requested my money back. She could RUIN MY DINNER make me wait!! and then they forgot!! But she had no courtesy to say... She's my customer let me make it good for her. WE RUINED HER DINNER. This manager has not common sense. The one that is getting FREE MEALS is her!!!
