Worth the 25 min drive! One of the best Valley restaurants and I have been to many. Homemade food! You will get a variety of different salsas. Humble place, but rich food, tortillas, not from the plastic bag, but authentic, as is the salsa. This is REAL Mexican food. If you know good food, you WILL be back.

My companion and I stopped for lunch after birding Bensten State Park. Fantastic fresh food. Tacos Canasta was delicious. My companion had the gorditas which I tried as well. The masa had a nice crust on the outside and was very filling. The taco slaw was crisp and full of fresh cilantro. The host was very friendly and excited to share her additional menu items with us including breakfast.

This us best kept secret in Palmview. I've eatten here several times. Always good. My wife is from Mexico and says the food is "the best". My boss and his wife say the breakfast taco are GREAT!.

Horrible... first time there I ordered to go and when I got home and opened the tacos and gordita was super tiny. NEVER AGAIN!!!!
