Great quality fish and chips plus other standard options, not cheap these days but neither overly expensive. Can order ahead via their website, but the one time I did, the order never arrived on their queue despite an order number acknowledgement. Great at sorting it out in the shop despite a queue, never a long wait (normally 5.muns max) and close enough for me to amble along and order at the counter. Not a restaurant, it is a high end chippy. So no tables, but to "eat in", there is a high counter at the front window with 4 or 5 chairs. Highly recommended.

My family & I ordered from Churchill's this evening, & we would like to say thank you kindly to all your staff, for such a great service. Your delivery driver was very quick, polite & friendly, & so good with the social distancing. The food was cooked to perfection. The chips were soft & fluffy on the inside & golden crispy on the outside. The cheeseburger, & sausage in batter is the best takeaway we've had in a long time,... cooked so well, & delicious. Nice sized portions & perfect temperature too, not like some fancy restaurants who can sometimes be very overpriced & serve up very small portions. Hats off to the chef 🎩, & all your wonderful staff. We'd definitely recommend to others, & order from you again, great quality food. Thank you kindly Churchill's, & especially more so during these uncertain & worrying times. Stay safe everyone 😊

We had take away. Vegan burger was delicious. Really could not tell the difference in bun or cheese. My sister enjoyed her 1/4 pounder burger too.

Our first visit. My Grandson wanted chicken nuggets and chips, he wasn't disappointed. His food was freshly cooked, hot and tasty The lady behind the counter was very friendly. Very clean shop. The chicken nuggets were very big. Much better taste and value than McD. Well worth visiting 😀

Decent for a first visit. Bit slow on getting order placed but at times it is expected everywhere people go. Apart from that it was spot on.

Our first visit. My Grandson wanted chicken nuggets and chips, he wasn't disappointed. His food was freshly cooked, hot and tasty The lady behind the counter was very friendly. Very clean shop. The chicken nuggets were very big. Much better taste and value than McD. Well worth visiting 😀

The bef burger was really good, the fish was decent quality. However the size of the fish was small, andn ot what I'm used to when ordering a "Large". The fish I got was Cod and was about 24cm in length half of which tapered off. For reference it was about one and a half hands worth of fish, or one hand if you have very large hands. Secondly the chips were rapped and packed tightly in paper, making all the chips become a lump of steamed potato, losing any crispy texture. If I wanted mash potatoes, I would have asked for it. I understand it was a friday evening and was likely busy, so will try this place one more time, but I don't have high hopes for it. Expensive and not a lot to show for it.

Instead, I found myself paying for every little thing — sauce, salt, vinegar… why would you have to pay for a little bit of tomato ketchup? Sad thing about this is somebody in the organisation thinking that’s a clever touch To make some extra money. The food was fine, but when your portion’s tight and your condiments are treated like luxury extras, it kind of takes the joy out of fish and chips. No wonder the little independent chippies are always buzzing — they understand it’s the small touches that matter. Churchhill might want to take note before the locals start voting with their feet (and their forks). Thanks for your feedback! I was being facetious when I said you pay for the salt and vinegar — there’s really no difference between that and a bit of ketchup, is there? The staff were lovely and hard-working, Even though it’s a chain restaurant, you could run it a bit more Wiley — with your own touch and a sense of what’s best for the customer!” Have you ever been into a Chip Shop where you can squeeze the tomato sauce on yourself It’s the little things 👌🏻

Need to win the lottery to get lunch from here, ridiculously small portions. And in a medium chip portion I counted 26 chips. Go to any other in area you can get double the size for the same price, if not cheaper. Only worth coming with they have the 4 sausage and 4 chips deal on for a tenner. Although 2 portions would be the size of 1 medium from anywhere else.
