This is MY go to place for breakfast. I always get at least one breakfast there when I visit. Loved the atmosphereas and the old-school servers remember all the faves of the locals. They always remember how I like my coffee! #bonus

For a low price, you'll get a massive amount of very yummy food. The service is quick too, and they'll regularly come offer to offer refills. They have wheelchair ramps, a back entrance, tons of seating, and lots of breathing room so there's never a mobility concern and you won't have to worry about other customers. It's an amazing place. Can I rank it higher?

The flavors in each dish are so unique and delicious. The staff is professional and makes every dining experience memorable.

Desiree is a waitress at this diner and she was very sweet and made us feel like family. We had the biscuits and gravy and Patty melt and they are the most delicious I've ever had. If you're ever in Rochester New York I highly recommend this diner.

Update 08/30/23: I have not seen the rude waitress there since my recent few visits. They only server breakfast and lunch only. They close at 2:30 pm. "Cash Only." However, there is an ATM next door at the store. The food is good and the service is fast. It is not a large place, but it is cozy and friendly.

Great breakfast,got the biggest one they have, 4 eggs, 4 Bacon, 4 Sausage, 4 French Toast. All cooked perfectly. Very friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommended.Very reasonably priced.

This place is awesome! If you are a fan of greasy spoon diners, this is the place for you. The atmosphere is very chill, the kind waitress said I could just sit down anywhere when I came in. I noticed a lot of the folks seemed to be regulars and know each other. It had good vibes. They have excellent weekday morning breakfast specials, I was able to get eggs, grits, toast, bacon, and coffee for $10. And it came out within 5 minutes of my ordering it hot and perfect! Will definitely be back. The waitress was also kind enough to run out and return my hat when I accidentally left it in the booth!

This is my go to breakfast spot every time I visit the Roc. It's a nice family owned diner. . The staff are friendly and the food good. Turnaround time from order to table is quick and pricing is very affordable. There's a mix of booth and standard seating

My father always loved a diner with character and community. Chili’s has both. I had eggs sunny side up, grits, and salmon cakes. Yum. A number of the patrons came over to chat with me about my bicycle which was loaded for touring the Erie Canal Trail. I loved the conversations and welcoming atmosphere. I couldn’t help but notice how many people seemed to know each other, know the wait staff, and who shared a kind word or two. ❤️

Had a couple of great breakfasts here on a recent trip to Rochester! The salmon patties were great and not something easy to find where we're from. All the food we had was very good, but what we especially enjoyed was the clientele and the servers — it was clearly a neighborhood hangout with lots of regulars; folks were waving at each other across the diner and greeting other patrons as they came in, so it had a "one big happy family" vibe, and at the same time my partner and I felt warmly welcomed by the waitstaff and the other customers. Definitely worth a visit if you're nearby!

My first time having fried fish for breakfast and I absolutely loved it! My fiancé and his family have been coming to this diner for breakfast since he was a little kid and I finally got to see it for myself. The restaurant has a very family feel to it and the servers are all so welcoming.

I ordered haddock fish, cheese grits, eggs over medium and toast w/grape jelly. Total cost was about $15. Fish portion was big enough for me to eat for breakfast and make a fish sandwich for lunch. Grits were creamy and buttery, eggs were slightly overcooked to my liking but I enjoyed the meal overall. I would recommend and will be returning.

Cash only. Went here for the first time recently, and enjoyed the food and service. Food was great with one exception, do not get the hash browns, they were soggy and had no flavor. Will definitely go back, but will never order the hash browns again.

Go here regularly with the family...one of the better diners around, very quiet, great staff...just don't go if you are looking for much entertainment or atmosphere - not that that's a bad thing..just a typical diner. One negative- theh don't have normal hours, will close early if slow..just an FYI

The atmosphere is typical of a little diner. Tables are pretty tiny but there are plenty of them. Service was wonderful. Super sweet ladies that were on point with filling your coffee cup when it dips a little. Meat lovers omelette I had was great and the side bacon was tasty and crispy. The corned beef hash was also amazing!

The staff was very attentive and had pleasant attitudes. The food that I had was delicious but when asked about other options even the waitress said that it was "just okay" with a look of order something other than that in her eye. The inside was nothing special, just a typical diner. Outside parking is limited. This is a cash only place with no ATM. The nearest ATM is in the next building over in a convenient store. The price on the food was very reasonable though. For a lunch for 3 it was about $24.

It was around 1:30 Saturday afternoon that we stopped there for lunch and I ordered a Reuben sandwich, probably the worst Reuben I have ever been served! The meat did not even smell or taste like corned beef and there was very little sauerkraut and hardly any Russian dressing on it. The best thing about it was the grilled bread. So I took off all the supposed corned beef and just ate the grilled bread and whatever cheese was melted on it. Some say they have good breakfast meals, but I doubt that I will risk eating there again.

Never again, first and last time going here. Every cook in back had no mask on, no hair nets and sweating badly. Food came out with cold toast and very under done eggs. Everyone was using the same ketup and hot sauce bottles and they had no caps on them. Nothing was wiped down after using it. The waitress had her mask under her chin also. Never Never again .

The grits were runny, the sausage was dry or old & it looked as if I had 1 scrambled egg. Personally I feel it was a waste of money because I disposed the meal after tasting how bad the grits were made. I won't go back there
