Every time I come here the food is fresh and tasty!
We hosted my Grandmothers 80th birthday there today! My grandmother loves Chinese food and this place delivers! They have a private room to the left when you walk in and it was able to host us all! Service is great and very friendly! Price is right too! Great people and great atmosphere I highly recommend it! Our party had a bunch of kids…the owners or maybe one of the workers kids there came over and played with our kids saying 6 7 lol..I recommend this place!!
We haven't been to China Buffet in a while and decided to go again as the food is always good. They didn't disappoint. It's nice to be able to try a variety of different foods. Today's visit included shrimp, clams, pepper chicken, sweet and sour chicken and some beef with peppers. Staff is friendly and kept our drinks filled and cleared away used plates quickly. Place was clean and a nice, casual atmosphere. Will definitely return.
Came here for Tuesday Dinner Buffet and it was a hit! My favorite items were fried shrimp, fried crabs (small), general tao chicken, salt and pepper chicken, steamed fish fillet in ginger soy sauce, fried chicken wings, fried noodles, fried plantains, deep fried apple pie (bite size). Dessert selection was so-so but they serve honey dew melon, cantaloupe and water melon as well as jello and ice cream which is good enough. All in all this place is great value. Glad we chose to eat here. Employees were friendly. Friendly environment.
Stopped by for lunch. Was seated immediately and noticed the cleanliness of the place. The restrooms are clean and don't smell bad. The food was fresh and was always being restocked. There was so much variety with clams, shrimp, sushi, fried goods as well as fresh fruits. I hope to get back that way again for another lunch.
We are weekly regulars. We love this place. They replenish the pans of food immediately, so you never run out of a dish. We love the buffet, with a lot of seafood, the hibachi grill and the sushi bar. Some of the harsh comments here are just wrong. The eating area is very clean & the rest rooms are new and spotless. This is among the best China buffet in western NY!
yummy but oily oily OILY if that's not your thing. food was nice and hot when i came for a weekday lunch.
Good reasonably priced China buffet. Inside is much nicer than how outside looks. Food is on par with budget priced China buffets. Our grandkids(5 and 7) love the place. The toast pork is their favorite (not including the desserts)
I would consider myself a regular at this place. The food is usually good and there is obviously many options to choose from. One thing that REALLY annoys me and is the reason for the 4-star instead of the 5-star is how the cashier condescendingly points at the scale when I walk up to the register with my plate. I come here all the time and I know for a fact you know who I am and you know that I know to put the food on the scale. It may seem petty but it's irritating... I'm not going to rob you, run out the door or do anything weird and I would think that after me going there so many times you would get that hint but no. Anyhow that's my review.
Best chinese buffet in the area .funny but I don't come here for the chinese food but the buffalo wings and the lo main are out of this world. Service is great id love to be able to speak chinese so you can understand what the ladies are saying lol but I can only imagine. If your in the area at least give it a try!!

That says a lot. So please avoid the Mac and Cheese
I was taken to the China Buffet for Mothers Day. 💖 They didn't disappoint. They were very busy. The food was coming out so fresh and 🔥 hot, from egg rolls to little neck clams. The fruit was tastless but the pineapple was ROTTEN! It was nice to see the establishment so busy 😌 trying to meet all the rules from the Covid Pandemic. The China Buffet was on top of there game. You had to wear plastic gloves and the face mask while getting your plate. The plates were Styrofoam and you received a new plate every time you went up. Overall we were happily ☺ impressed and we all walked or should I say wabbled out so very overstuffed!
It was standard Chinese buffet style food. For the money it was a decent place. The restaurant is very large, however, the food selection seems inadequate for the amount of space they have for seating.
I am so glad to see a buffet in NY state finally open however the food selection could have been worse and could have been better, and even though I understand that we are slowly coming out of this pandemic but do we really need to pay to eat on styrofoam plates and use flimsy plastic forks? Felt more like a picnic than a restaurant.
Not at all what is used to be and even then it was just Ok for a buffet experience. The staff have always been great at both locations.
This was the only food that was considered Fresh out of all the food here. Their food was dry, old , and nasty. I am so disappointed in their food. Not worth a star at all. Back in the days they use to be delicious. And not only that to expensive for old food. Paying 77 dollars for 3 kids who almost vomit eating their food and only had one plate .
My family and I went to the China Buffet on Jefferson Rd in South Town Plaza and was very disappointed. Most of the food was not hot, and the dishes barely had any flavor at all. They also don’t provide napkins, which made the whole experience even more uncomfortable. The only good thing I can say is that they refill your drinks, but that doesn’t make up for the poor quality of the food and service. For these reasons, we’re giving this place 1 star. I would not recommend it.
Poor service very out dated and dirty need a deep cleaning. Smells moldy and old very dusty. Bathroom are disgusting I think health department need to be called. The table the waiter sat is at had a dead fly on it. Food very poor quality meat discolored.
I am not typically one to leave a review, especially something negative because everyone has off days, but this place is not it. The place itself is not impressive and the food is absolutely atrocious. Everything - and I mean everything - was cold, rubbery, and/or both at the same time. I did not see any food being changed out or even added to during the entirety of my visit. Most of the food was rather bland with the exception of the spring rolls and I watched a little boy put his hands directly into the food. We were given plastic forks after indicating that the silverware had leftover food stuck onto it, which I guess was fine but gave takeout vibes rather than restaurant. In that same regard, there were sauces and condiments in packets on the table. To their credit, the servers cleared our tables quickly and checked on us as frequently as I would expect at a buffet - probably the best part of my experience. I will not be returning and I would not recommend it to others unless some major changes are implemented.
Don’t do it! Took the family before heading home and what an experience this place was! I’ve had my fair share of awesome Chinese food, I’ve also had really bad ones… this one is definitely one of the worst. Most of the items are very very bad. Tasteless and not very fresh. Looks like the food has been sitting around for a long time and for the price you get plastic forks to dine in. Also tried the hibachi part and even that didn’t go too well. It’s no wonder there wasn’t anybody having any hibachi. The best part, however, was the fried chicken wings and sesame balls. But I didn’t go to a buffet for those 2 items. 😨. Wouldn’t recommend and will not return.
Who gives plastic spoons for dine in? The food is awful. No salt and pepper shakers. They have packets on the table. No soy sauce bottle on the table, instead packets. This was the worse experience at an Asian restaurant. I will never come here again. Not even if it's the last place to get food. They cut napkins in half, what a joke! The only thing that I really enjoyed was the hot tea. Thank you for the tea, but everything else you can keep. The napkins are not only but I'm half once, but then cut again! The apple pie is missing the bottom crust. It wasn't good anyhow. I'm not sure how it got the ratings that it did, but you're probably better off ordering from your favorite Asian restaurant and picking it up. What an experience! Never again!
