Posto favoloso , vista meravigliosa e personale gentilissimo . Bellissima esperienza

Un luogo incantevole per un aperitivo con vista mozzafiato sul Colosseo, in particolare sul suggestivo sperone di Valadier che sostiene l'emiciclo esterno. La terrazza, con affaccio diretto sul monumento, offre un’atmosfera elegante e curata, ideale per turisti e romani che vogliono godersi il centro di Roma da una prospettiva unica. Il cibo è di alta qualità e accompagnato da cocktail eccellenti, preparati con attenzione. Il personale, cordiale e professionale, contribuisce a rendere l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Non è economico, ma la qualità della location e del servizio lo rendono decisamente all’altezza delle aspettative.

Ero molto buone e tanto bello, con la vista di Colesseo. Cameriere Manuel, molto gentile, ha dato tanto attenzione per noi e piccolo bambino che stato con noi. Bravissimi !!!🥰🥰

Luigi e Manuel sono stati ottimi, sia per professionalità che per simpatia. L‘antipasto di pesce molto buono e molto buoni anche i pacchetti all’astice. Torneremo sicuramente per porovare il rooftop.

Esperienza super positiva! Il bar è accogliente e ben curato, ma la vera differenza la fanno Manuel e Luigi: due camerieri sempre sorridenti, veloci e molto attenti ai clienti. Servizio impeccabile e atmosfera piacevole. Ci tornerò sicuramente!

Grandissima esperienza con ottimo aperitivo pinsa buonissima, camerieri top super professionali ed eleganti con un umorismo perfetto specialmente marco e luigi due camerieri che ci hanno accompagnato per questa esperienza davanti al Colosseo facendoci scherzare come se fossimo a casa. We visited this restaurant in January. Excellent food and the best view of the Colosseum. There was enough space for everyone; we had both pizza and pasta, and everything was very delicious. Our waiter, Luigi, was very pleasant.

The view was amazing. We were right outside the Colosseum, and they even had heaters on the rooftop for us in the winter. The food was amazing! Everything was to our liking, and they even gave us free drinks afterwards. I’m unsure if this is just the nature in Europe, but the staff was a little slow to asking for our drink order and bringing that out, but outside of that it was an amazing experience and the staff was very nice. They even took our picture for us before we left (we asked but they happily obliged). Overall very good experience.

Amazing place, excellent service, the staff are very friendly and attentive. The place has a beautiful view of the Colosseum, so a tip (dress up for beautiful photos) is that the food is also very good. I highly recommend it and when I'm in Rome I will definitely return.

A must stop after your Coliseum tour! We made reservations for 12:30 but they allowed us to go up earlier where we got the best seat in the house. Theresa was a fabulous server. Attentive, gave great recommendations, and treated us to a glass of lemon cello. Get the spaghetti carbonara and the gnocchi with clams as well as the old fashioned and the st Germaine spritz.

It's fantastic 👏 First of all, Clerks were very kind and nice. The view of Colosseo was impressive! All foods which we ordered were nice and very tasty 😋 Whatever, the Clerk who got our order was kind. We weren't good at English but she was trying to help us. Thank you all! We had dinner here on our second night in Rome with my husband and friends, and it turned out to be one of the best meals of our trip. The atmosphere was cozy and full of authentic Italian charm, and the staff were so kind and attentive. Every dish was flavorful, the pork chop was perfect, the pizza was amazing, The service was great, and prices were very fair for the quality. We left so happy and satisfied. Highly recommended!

Our server was wonderful he brought my mother and sister a blanket because it was a bit chilly outside sitting in-front of the majestic colosseum !! The food was delicious great hearty meal just before touring Rome! Highly recommended!! I’d like to give our server credit again he was very perfect and I believe his name was Salvatore if I can’t remember but overall 10/10!

My wife and I were in Rome for a few days while waiting for our cruise to depart. We were walking around the Colosseum, which apparently is a pretty popular thing to do when in Rome 😂. Go Figure!! We decided to grab a bit of lunch and a nice cold beer or wine. We were worn out from the hot weather and the crowds that we had been trying to navigate around near the Colosseum. We decided to stop into this wonderful little restaurant that sits literally right across the street from the Colosseum. Surprisingly for that time of day, it was not very busy. We really did want to sit on the upper patio looking at the Colosseum, but to be honest, we were worn out from the sun and decided to sit downstairs but inside. We ordered a charcuterie board and a couple of perfectly chilled beers and it was absolutely perfect. The staff, who I’m sure get a bit tired of the tourists were nothing short of wonderful to us. They greeted us warmly and sat us down in a wonderful spot by one of the front windows, where we could enjoy our food and beer and look at the Colosseum without the hustle and bustle outside. I would highly recommend this spot. I wish we would have had more time because I would’ve liked to come back for dinner as well. Their menu looked fantastic, but unfortunately, we were only in Rome for a few short days. Thank you for the wonderful lunch and memories. Paul and Andrea Canada

Probably the best restaurant nearby Colosseo that offers a great view. Food was so good and everyone was so attentive. It was situated right next to the colosseum and offered the best possible view. Wish I knew this place earlier as I would dine here every night. We had a reservation for 5:30pm but could not get in because of the demonstration happening earlier. Manager did not hesitate to accomodate us even with the place fairly booked. Had an awesome birthday dinner. Thank you Royal art cafe.

I was worried this would be touristy and crowded for lunch and was so pleasantly surprised it wasn’t! The service was phenomenal and the food was even better. I loved the aperol spritz and ended the meal with a lemoncello. We had the gnocchi with clams and the margherita pizza and it didn’t disappoint. We loved it. The gnocchi was rich and flavorful and the pizza was so fresh! 10/10 recommend

My husband and I just returned from Rome and were lucky enough to visit this wonderful restaurant. We paid ahead of time for their special menu and seating upstairs with the Colosseum view. I am skeptical at times of "Instagram " fake posts, but this one was 100 percent real! The service The Food The Atmosphere ... was top notch!!!!! As part of our tasting menu, we had FOUR courses and included a bottle of wine or 2 drinks per person. We kept commenting that we didn't know how they made a profit on the food and drinks that was included.....it was ABUNDANT, fresh, and DELICIOUS!!! I recommend Royal Art 100 percent to anyone traveling to Rome!!!!!

Had a word-of-mouth recommendation to eat here and it did not disappoint. The evening views of The Colisseum when lit are wonderful. Food was classy, tasteful, beautifully presented and perfectly prepared. Wine list was great as was the service. Prior booking for 1st floor terrace is probably essential. Loved it and will return when next in Rome.

Quite a lovely cafe, near the colosseum. We visited early in the morning, so it was pleasantly peaceful as well. Fortunately, the staff was speaking english, which made the communication pretty enjoyable, as we exchanged a few jokes. May I add, they were pretty friendly and polite, even though when they delayed and forgot some things from our order, they brought them quickly after. Now, I would really recommend the cornetto!

We had plans to go elsewhere and were glad we stumbled upon this place. Tired after a 3 hour tour of the Roman Forum and the Colosseum we decided to try something closer than our original plan. The service was good. The food was really good and presented exceptionally. Cant beat lunch with a view of the colosseum! My sister and I were happy with everything. They had heaters out to keep us warm on the roof top. Though i’m not sure when tip culture has become a part of europe? They asked for a tip on the bill which i thought was strange and slightly off putting. Then after we left a small gratuity they offered us lemon cello shots which were really good! Not sure if i would have been offered if we didn’t tip first though… other than that had a great experience.

We booked for a birthday celebration via the website, unfortunately they hadn't got the reservation on arrival but did fit us in a table on the terrace. We did have to wait a while without being offered drinks but once sat down the service was very good by the lead manager. We chose this place specifically for the excellent Colesseum views and steak as had seen previous reviews. Unfortunately the beef was very fatty halfway, but half was fantastic! The view was beautiful and made the meal very special, it wasn't cold in November either sat out. we had a walk across road afterwards for more close up pics of it lit up. I'd really recommend this place, but contact to ensure your booking!

Ovviamente la stella assegnata ,è solo per poter pubblicare la recensione. Sono qui per descrivere ciò che ne e' stato del mio 50 compleanno , una pessima ( è dir poco ) esperienza in questo locale anzi con il gradino d'ingresso di questo locale . Si perché proprio li si è fermata la mia esperienza ....all'ingresso, perché dopo aver prenotato una settimana prima un tavolo in terrazza con vista per un 50esimo appunto .....al nostro arrivo ( alle 23:05).ci viene detto che il locale è in chiusura ( ci viene detto per una disinfestazione , con altra spiegazione poco chiara) . Domanda semplice ed elementare: perché non sono stata avvisata? Eppure per prenotare bisogna lasciare dei contatti . Eh si , perché se le persone non si presentano all'orario di prenotazione sono degli incivili e maleducati . Voi cosa siete stati ieri sera ???????? Rispetto ed educazione purtroppo non vengono menzionati su un menù, ma dovrebbero essere alla base di un contratto commerciale Semplicemente incommentabili. Vi auguro di trovare tanti ,tantissimi clienti come voi . SCONSIGLIO VIVAMENTE QUESTO POSTO
