First time to be here, opted for a plated menu vs the buffet grill menu. Food was great, very filling. Hubby and I shared since we're not sure how food will taste like. Service was awesome and friendly staff.

Had a spicy pork belly dosirak (lunch box). Generous portion and flavorful meal. It would have been even better with a bowl of miso soup on the side.

I have been coming here since 2015 and I love it. Its had new owners since then but it is still one of the better kbbq places in the area. It compares to some of the places in Sac and Elk Grove. The prices will be high but you get what you pay for-- Ive never had a bad slab of meat and the appetizers and side dishes are always fresh and flavorful. The servers are always pleasant here as well. Im always grateful to interact with them and they are helpful and friendly. They play approxiate Kpop. ;) You can bring bigger or smaller groups and its equally amazing.

Absolutely amazing food, staff and customer service. The food was great, extremely flavorful and great portions. They are also great for families and offer a great selection for a kids menu

Amazing service. Food was delicious. I’m vegetarian and our waiter was awesome on explaining and recommending vegetarian and vegan options. Also very knowledgeable on the food and ingredients. He make sure to point out what was vegan or vegetarian and what was not . I wish would have asked his name, sorry ! Overall an amazing experience.

Kayden was our server this last time, and he was AMAZING. Service has been great all three times we have been thus far. The food is beyond amazing. This place is going to be a regular destination for us!

If you've never had the pleasure of having good Korean BBQ, then you owe it to yourself to give this place a try. It's fun, it's unique, it's out of the ordinary. But most of all it's just damn good! You can choose to dine in a normal fashion or go family style and cook the specially prepared meats and veggies right there at your table (with the help of a very friendly and knowledgeable waiter). Go for the latter, its a lot more entertaining. Also, I cannot stress enough how impressed I was with the staff. Genuinely warm and accommodating. Always attentive and quick to offer assistance. You must try this place!!

This was my first time here and loved it! Came for Valentine's Day with my husband and the ambience of the place was so nice. Got seated quickly because we had reservations. We ordered the beef dumplings and fried chicken for appetizers and they were both delicious. The pork belly and the soy ribeye were the best meats we ordered. Our server was super nice and attentive! They also gave a small bag of chocolates with our bill for Valentine's day! Overall a wonderful experience and I definitely reccomend. Will be returning!

The atmosphere was great. The manager was extremely friendly and came and talked to us several times. Good food. Good service. We will return.

Came to Blue House right after work to give it a try. Been to many Korean BBQs in the bay area, was really impressed with this one. All of the meats were extremely fresh and delicious. We were able to try a good assortment of the options provided. My favorites this time around were the Blue House Premium Steak and the Beef Bulgogi. All of the included options for the singular price were very good. I would gladly go back in the future with friends and family.

Korean BBQ place, nice atmosphere. No time for BBQ but they had some regular dishes. Cold noodle was not cold enough but extra ice made it refreshing and cool. The soy bean stew was actually very tasty. The side dishes were pretty good, shredded green onion and soy bean sprouts were unique, kimchi was very good, seaweed stem and cucumber was delicious! Price was very reasonable. Service was little slow but staffs were very friendly.

1st time here, whenever I come to Roseville this place will be my go-to. $35 dinner option, we had great food. My favorite was boneless LA galbi (short ribs). Great flavor, tender, juicy, my goodness. Korean corn dog was well, corn dog lol. Not sure what I was expecting. End the meal with instant ramen but it hits the spot. Will be back for sure, not sure if $58 option is worth it but maybe on special occasion.

We had an amazing time at this Korean BBQ spot! We ordered the K-BBQ meal and everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-seasoned. The meats were high quality and the side dishes were tasty and plentiful. It’s a fun, interactive dining experience, especially if you enjoy cooking at the table. Just a heads-up—if you're not familiar with cooking seafood, maybe skip the octopus, as it can be tricky to get just right. Otherwise, everything was delicious and the service was great. We'll definitely be coming back!

Overall a great spot. My wife and I are big fans of Korean BBQ and Blue House is one of our favorites. Highly recommend for special occasions as it can be a little pricey, but well worth it for a big day.

I have been to KBBQ 15+ times, and my experience here topped every one. This was hands down the best one I've had yet. The service was excellent, our server Koby was fantastic and always checking on us, even the owner came to our table and made the experience even better. Food was fantastic. I could have not veen happier.

Extremely good food. Service was awkward, unwelcoming, and unfriendly. I wont try hard to come back but I would if someone invites me to see if it is any different. I love the food but dont go out of my way if the atmosphere is like this. It looks like they have a good happy hour, but again not one person here made eye contact, smiled, or interacted politely.

Came to this one because one in sac I used to go to is close for renovations. Very good, the meat was really high quality and so were the side dishes.

Food comes in rounds. About 2/3 meat options and 2/3 sides. We really enjoy the thin cut pork belly, bulgogi beef, spicy fries (they are not spicy, they have spice), baby octopus. The side dishes are pretty good too. TIPS: Weekday lunch is the way to go! If you want chicken, I suggest ordering it last as it takes time to cook. The shrimp is not an easy meal to enjoy because of the shell. Flag waiters down if a grill change is needed because restaurant is busy at times. If it’s your birthday you get to spin a wheel (with one of the prices being free AYCE), and all birthday peeps get a free dessert. My fiancé got a strawberry cheesecake, which he very much enjoyed. He said better than Cheesecake Factory!

My partner wanted to try Korean BBQ for the first time, for her birthday. We decided to come to Blue House. Boy was that the best decision I could have made. From the moment we stepped in, the service was excellent. Erik k the general manager ended up coming over and was a pleasure the entire time. Our actually waiter (Tony) was great, he explained everything, made great recommendations and kept it drinks topped up. The food was amazing, everything fresh, excellent marinades for the meat and the condiments where fresh and delicious. I highly recommend coming here if you like Korean BBQ!

I’ve been to this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed. I had the lunch BBQ — the food was high quality and tasted great. The pork and beef belly with garlic soy sauce were especially delicious. Bella was our server today, and she took excellent care of us.

I can't believe I haven't left a review for this place yet! 😆 But I'm glad I remembered to take some photos and leave a review. Since we are moving, this might be the last time I visit this location. My husband and I have been going to Blue House BBQ (Roseville) for a long time, visiting regularly since they opened. We've never tried their regular menu, always the all-you-can-eat, but the quality is still good. If you visit during peak hours, the service can be a little slow, but most of the time, it's fast and friendly. We always get the beef brisket, beef belly, jumulluk, LA galbi, and pork jowls. They also offer sliced garlic and jalapeños, which I love! I also enjoy their appetizer menu—Korean fried chicken and corn cheese are my favorites. The black tiger shrimp are always so fresh and tender!

This is a very well-kept and wonderful kbbq. The style of the place is modern, which really adds to the vibe. They also have a great selection of meats and sides, and appetizers! The AYCE options are also fantastic and well priced, probably one of the best prices in Roseville for the quality of meats as well as the flavor of the meats, no matter the flavor. And they have great dips! They also have great adult beverages, highly recommend just getting soju by the bottle but they do have great mixes (especially for holidays). And honestly the best feature of this specific location is that they change the grill pretty often which is such a game changer!!

Lunchtime is the right time! My first time at the Roseville location, we've visited the Howe Avenue location many times before. Roseville is significantly smaller, but it will do. We arrived shortly after 11 a.m. just as lunch was starting, so there was no wait, and we had our choice of tables. When we visit for dinner, it's generally packed at any location with a wait less than thirty minutes. Our server was fast, efficient, and readily happy to fulfill our desires at every request. He kept our table over flowing with food, our grill changed, and our drinks filled. The food selections were fresh, as always is the case, and being veterans of the various locations, we sampled our regular selections. The food is very consistent. They don't have the robot server, as does the Howe Avenue location, which is a novelty kids really enjoy. But we don't mind that. It's honestly a nuisance to try to remove your tray from the racks with the speed it expects you to, so I prefer a good old-fashioned server! For those that haven't visited Blue House before, rules of engagement are as follows: Your party is seated. All members of your party must order from the same All You Can Eat Selection. Menus A, B, or C, varying slightly in price and premium selections. I believe we generally all order A or B which is more than adequate in selections available. In the first round, your party is required to order 2 appetizers and 3 entrees. Every round thereafter, thru fairly well bend the rules as long as you are eating the food they are being and you can continue to order what you want when you want without limitation. You cook the raw (sometimes marinated) beef, chicken, pork belly, shrimp, octopus, etc., on your table's personal hibachi grill yourselves. There are accompaniments. Look for a small box on the menu that offers sauces and add-ons to cook with, i.e. Gosu, sliced garlic, sesame oil, bean paste, spicy pineapple sauce, etc., that make it more fun and flavorful. SUPER TIP - ASK FOR THE ANIMAL FAT TO GREASE YOUR GRILL.. the meats are EXTREMELY LEAN. They will stick to the brand new grills that are changed out several times during your visit without a little something to just give it a touch of slickery-slide. Blue House is a great place to go with one friend or many. I don't know that I'd take a group of kids. There's going to be raw meat and a hot hot grill within reach of everyone at the table. BUT if you're looking to have an engaging dinner with others that keeps everyone engaged and off their phones, involved, participating, talking, and laughing, this chain is a great place to do it. Go hungry. No salad eaters or vegetarians will be really happy here. I believe they also have an a la cart menu but we've NEVER ordered off of it. This is too much fun.

The service was great. Everyone is super nice and very responsive. Surprisingly everything was amazing. The spice tofu soup was really legit. Like it tasted really good and had shrimp and clams in it. Cheese corn was great. Meat cuts were nice. All around a great value. It blows the pants off places like gen.

Very tasty food, LOTS of options! I appreciate that they have vegan versions of many items too. Portions are large and well worth the price! One thing though, the soju cocktails had not a single drop of alcohol in them. I'm quite the lightweight, and after having two, I can confirm it was just juice that was served, albeit very good juice (just a tad pricey 😂). We will definitely be back though, staff was very nice and friendly.

My husband and I are regulars at this location with our kids, and tonight Duc truly went above and beyond. He was incredibly patient and understanding with our 18-month-old, even with the inevitable mess that comes with little ones. On an extremely busy night, he kept us well informed about the wait times and communicated clearly the entire visit. He also picked up on the fact that we were in a hurry due to our teething child and had our food wrapped up for us immediately, without us having to ask. To top it off, he even offered to help us with our rewards. Service like this makes a huge difference for families, and Duc handled everything with professionalism and genuine care.

My boyfriend and I have been going here for years and it's our favorite restaurant! But every time we go the service has been ok but we went tonight for valentines and Bella was the most terrific and fabulous server I have ever had. Made us feel so special and taken care of. She gave immaculate service. Highly recommend Bella!!!

The beef brisket Tteokbokki is one of the best take out meals I've ever enjoyed. Even when I have to drive 30 minutes homes before diving in, it's always piping hot and fresh as fresh can be. It is strange that it comes prepared differently at times - sometimes with fish cakes, sometimes with spring rolls and gyoza instead - but it always hits the spot. The spicy dish has the perfect kick for a lover of heat, and the rice cakes are softened to perfection every time. The quality service and devotion to good food makes Blue House one of my top choices for lunch and dinner all the time.

$28 for AYCE KBBQ lunch is a great deal in 2026 and the meat quality here is very good. Try the soy garlic beef brisket and beef belly. Super delicious especially if you dip it into your ponzu sauce. The house marinaded pork belly melts into your mouth. Unlimited banchan and fried sesame balls with red bean as dessert to finish it off makes it the perfect meal.

Overall good experience. Beef bulgogi and dumplings were our favorites. Wasn't super impressed with their standard accoutrements offered and the pork belly wasn't good. Fun atmosphere, but surprisingly busy. Hard to tell from the outside since windows are blacked out. As with any all you can eat joints, arrive hungry, and prepare to eat a lot of meat!

Yummy. This place was one of the best Korean BBQ place I’ve been to. I came to Roseville to do errands and decided to try it. The spicy is good spicy. Everything was the yum for me. Caroline the server was awesome.

This review is specific for lunch time. Went to Blue house twice so far. Both times for lunch. I like that I can get Korean food on my lunch break with coworkers. They have these HUGE lunch boxes for $13. Overall, from what I've tried, the food is very good! A little sweeter (especially the jjapchae noodles) though. Korean food isn't that sweet. Downside is the service! Last time we went it was a Friday lunch. It was more full with customers so maybe they were overwhelmed, I don't know. Our server forgot many things. Things we ordered, requested. Food was brought out and no utensils to eat it with....and one coworker didnt get his food until the end. We were there for way over an hour. They offer a small discount for employees at local businesses but if they want to attract workers, they have to speed up the service. My work is flexible if we go over by 10 or 15 min but last time we went over by 45 min!! Maybe next time I'll call in advance to place an order so the food is ready shortly after we arrive. *****UPDATE***** a few more tries so now I have to bump up another star (reluctant to give 5 stars because how sweet the food is but that's just me). Went for happy hour twice. Can't go wrong with %50 off appetizers. Once the owner came out and gave a strawberry soju and yakult (Korean yogurt drink) on the house. Our server suggested a splash of yakult in a shot of soju. O.M.G. think berries n' cream. It's incredible. The appetizer portions are huge and you get side dishes. Had so many leftovers to take home.

The Korean beef short ribs were exactly what I was expecting. Very satisfied. Everyone enjoyed their food. A couple critiques, the environment is too fast-food-ish, with the TVs, & music. The kimchi is not spicy enough, and the fried rice should be improved.

The service here was very good. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. The food is pretty good. Granted my Mom made the best Korean food so I am partial. The reason for a 4/5 star is cleanliness. The bathroom here is not clean or well kept. Everything in this restaurant needs a deep cleaning.

B

It was my first time at this restaurant and my first time eating Korean food out. I decided to go slow and order off the traditional menu. Abby and Tim were very patient and informative with my questions on which each dish was. Kimchi was very good with just a touch of spice. There were two different pickled daikon radish, sweet and spicy(ish). I was warned that the fish cake may be very fishy but they were not at all. I ordered the Dolsot Bibimbap with Bulgogi, a half order of Korean Fried Chicken, and some Corn Cheese. The Corn Cheese was just hot canned corn with a lot of cheese. Don't get me wrong it looks great but it just tastes like corn with cheese. Nothing special. The chicken wings were excellent though. They were large crispy and juicy wings. The star of the show however was the Bibimbap in a scalding hot clay pot. The clay pot causes some of the rice to get crispy which adds a nice texture change to normal Bibimbap and just for $2. Outstanding meal. I'll be back and next time I'll come with mah wife. Second visit. We ordered the Bibimbop and it was wonderful. We ordered the egg rolls and the fried calamari both were over cooked. The fried calamari was so over cooked that the meat was crunchy. The egg rolls were so darn dry and as crunchy as the calamari was.

First time on this location... ordered the Traditional menu with Fried Calamari for an appetizer (which strangely came with little calamari and a salad)... LA Galbi bento box, Kid's bento box, and Dumpling Soup. The foods were delicious, and banchans were fresh and good. Service wasn't efficient, but our server managed to provide whatever we needed as long as we asked.

Really enjoyed it. I almost feel it's better than Oz. The meat here has so much more flavor. Looking forward to going to it again.

Well I found this place after not being served at a Teppanyaki restaurant. But their loss was really my game because this restaurant was amazing. We were quickly greeted and seated at a table where our waitress promptly brought us drinks. I was really impressed with the quickness of the meal service. I really wanted to try the soft crab as an appetizer. It was brought out with a great sauce and we added lemon. Everything was really good it came with a salad that already had just the right amount of salad dressing. My meal consisted of garlic soy fried chicken. It really reminded me of a Bento Box because it came with an order of steamed rice two beef dumplings, an egg roll and noodles with a side salad. This particular evening I didn't drink anything however they had a pretty good drink menu that I have to try the next time I eat here . I had enough food to take home with me but I will definitely come back for seconds soon.

This place is busy!! The first time we attempted this place was on a Saturday night but the wait was three hours for two so we left. We came back on a Monday night thinking it would be dead but we still had about a 15 minute wait, not bad but surprising for a Monday. Our server Chi was amazing and recommended the spare ribs which ended up being our favorite meat. He was helpful and taught us how to cook the octopus. I love that they have all the sauces and garnishes ready at your table when you are seated. They were pretty quick bringing our apps, I would pass on the fried chicken next time, just not worth it when you have so many meats to try. All the food was really good but I think next time I want to go during lunch because I’m not sure if we ate enough for the price of dinner. It’s a fun experience and definitely glad we tried it!

The food is good. I was disappointed in the beef bulgogi. Anywhere I have eaten it, it is fatty and gristley but really more so than usual last night. The 2 chicken choices we ate were very good. The servers are attentive and efficient.

I had a friend who worked for Blue House Sacramento and spoke highly of them. I have been to the Sacramento location that is now closed. To start off, I’m no beginner to kbbq. I’ve been to Gen, Gogi Time (Oakland), Ohgane (Alameda) to name a few quite a few times. My experience at Blue House Roseville (on Saturday January 3rd, seated around 3:10pm) was subpar. To start off the grill was a bit hot but could’ve been turned down. A manager (I think, by the way he was dressed) came and adjusted it under the table but the heat so very low after. He was kind and sent another order of galbi to our table. We had to have it adjusted back to a slightly higher temperature as the time was running out and meat wasn’t cooking. Not a big deal. Happens. But the Galbi was not good quality. Some of the strips were very thin and mostly fat. The premium steak was amazing, the brisket was good. All other meats and the banchan was good. As we were eating it was hard to find the server and we had to call other people over. As we were nearing our 2 hour time she came over and asked if we wanted anything else, we said no, she said take your time, no rush. But she kept coming over, every few minutes asking if we wanted anything else and we were still enjoying what we had so we’d say we’re fine. It was clear she was rushing us. And I’ve never been rushed at a kbbq place. It’s typically a very social experience and that’s what makes it fun. All of a sudden she brings the bill and states she knows we’re still talking and enjoying but she gets off soon and needs us to pay to collect her tips. Me and my friend have both worked at restaurants and I come from a family that owns some. Card tips go on your check. Unless it’s cash shes not getting it until later. I got up to use the bathroom and I overhear her talking to another coworker about us. How she knew that her excuse would work and we’d leave. The place was packed and I wasn’t expecting this. It just left a sour taste in my mouth and I don’t know if I want to come back. This has never happened when I lived in the Bay Area and at other chains across CA (SoCal). I understand the time limit is more for ordering meats not the full experience but I guess it varies by chain. We were paying customers and didn’t feel like we could even finish catching up with each other and were rushed out. She should’ve just let us take our time, but made it clear the time was over to order meats. I was still enjoying some of my sides and hadn’t completely finished. They don’t close until 11pm. I don’t know what the rush was for. Another server could have taken care of us if she had to go.

I just went today. Service is was terrible. Most of the orders I gave did not arrive. The orders that arrived arrived very, very late. Our waiter never came to our table while he was busy with another table, we kept asking other waiters many times. Our waiter kept bring false order to us. We were 2 people and we paid 80$, didnt deserve, not caming back again.

I really wanted to enjoy this place, but it just didn't live up to expectations. The table we were seated at wasn't very clean, and the food itself was a bit underwhelming with little flavor, and a few items didn't taste very fresh. Unfortunately, I ended up getting sick afterward, which makes me hesitant to come back. Hopefully this was just an off day, but overall, it wasn't a great experience for me and will not be going back.

Ordered online, food was over 500$ and the delivery driver failed to deliver. Over an hour later we cancelled the order. If an order is over 100$ it should be priority. Manager wasn’t very helpful trouble shooting problems. Hopefully they can workout these issues in the future.

Served raw chicken, do not eat here there is no quality control. They at least gave me a refund. Not sure if I’ll be sick or not.

My brother wanted to come here with our disabled mother so I said sure let’s try it. We came on Veterans Day and immediately when we got seated at noon mind you they tell us that all day it’s going to be dinner prices. Extremely confused considering you would think veterans would get better pricing because of their service not up charge on the day they are recognized we agreed. The waitress was extremely rude and barely gave us drinks without us having to ask for everything. Once the meats were finally served to us the burners weren’t even on! We sat there for what seemed like eternity damn near begging to get some sort of service. When we checked out I asked to speak to the manager and they said the manager would be there this evening. Gave us the senior discount and sent us on our way. Extremely unsatisfied with the service and whole atmosphere I called the manager later that evening. He apologized and refunded the money and asked for us to try again and sent me a card that was supposed to be good for 3 people to give this place a try once again. My brother and his wife decided to give them a try the other night and when they showed the card they wouldn’t honor the card!!! What a joke this place is. I will definitely not return and I definitely will be letting my family and friends not to waste their time or money on this place.

Only thing that was good was how loud the music was in the bathroom, I was vibin while droppin a steamin dookie. But other than that the food was bad everybody left with there stomach hurting, and the service wasn't great because we had to wait 10 minutes for them to change the grill and give refills. And 170 dollars for 4 people to get stomach aches is absolutely atrocious.

Went to Blue House on Vets day. They charged us for dinner at lunch which is no big deal. Proceed to Hardly serve us food so my sister told the manager to give a chance to make right. He told us we would receive our next meal free. Fast forward to last night we tried again for my birthday , fried rice was cold (keep in mind 50$ per person) but the rest of the food was good and our waiter was very nice. When it was time to say we explained what Jinho the manager had told my sister. They called Jinho and he said he had no memory of the issue. Super embarrassing to ask for the next meal on the house then to be denied was another level. We paid them and tipped the waiter good but WE WILL NEVER give our business to them again. Cold food for 50$ a person is UNACCEPTABLE aside from the embarrassing encounter. All in all great food but always understaffed. And their management is obviously unorganized and poor if they cannot remember their bad encounters.
