A bit expensive, but great service and absolutely delicious food. Seriously, they had they had the best food I've ever had on this coast. Their steaks are tender and flavorful and their swordfish is just divine. I'd highly recommend this place for a date or to treat yourself.

Delicious food. Sauerbraten was delectable. Service by Brianna was excellent. There was a very exuberant party at a table nearby and it was very difficult to hear the conversation at our table. Crême brulée was exemplary and perfect size for sharing. Swordfish was dreamy and surprisingly moist.

What a meal! The seafood over risotto was excellent! I could have eaten the whole thing but took some home so I could prolong the experience. Just delicious. Have never had a bad meal here. Worth every penny. Companions each had the beef filet, also met with raves. Dessert was a decadent flourless chocolate cake, dense and fudgy. Yum!

Staff feels like a family. Situated among the cottages of a Methodist Summer Community, go back in time and enjoy the sunset glow as the sun goes to bed. By the way, the Methodist Community still exists although the church meetings no longer fill the auditorium. The auditorium nearby has great shows, but bring your fan.

Just went to Lake Ridge last week and wasn't disappointed. As usual, everything was perfect. The place was packed but luckily we had a reservation and our table was waiting. Delicious dinner and great atmosphere! We will return.

We wanted a special place to celebrate our anniversary, and Lake Ridge was the perfect choice. We were pleasantly and politely greeted and seated right away. We ordered soup, appetizer, and entrees. Each course was hot and delivered at the perfect time. I ordered the lamb special, and my husband ordered the hanger steak. Both were delicious and cooked to perfection. Due to the large portions, we took desserts home and thoroughly enjoyed them later. We definitely will return.

By far the best restaurant in the area. The food couldn't be better, the service is always tops (Courtney was awesome) and the ambience is warm and inviting. We had the swordfish at our recent visit and it was by far the best fish we've ever had. Simply incredible. Every detail is perfection at Lake Ridge which is why I consider it the finest upscale dining experience in upstate NY.

I went there with my Aunt Carol, who lives in the area. I had the Buffalo Wings and fries. They both were some of the best that I ever had! The service was absolutely welcoming and so friendly. I was just visiting from Florida, so I highly recommend. The menu has something for everyone, and I'm sure it will please the taste buds!

Last night my wife and I took some time for ourselves and had a date night. We ordered the escargot special, each had a salad, she had the veal and crab cake and I had the Cajun shrimp over a NY Strip. Everything was fantastic! The escargot had lots of garlic and a tasty cream sauce. My steak was cooked perfectly and I felt that the Cajun seasoning was just enough but not over the top to drown out the flavor of the meat itself. The server had a great attitude and was very attentive! We look forward to our next visit!

The hostess was phenomenal. She was pleasant and warm . She made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. I love the little village touch. Our waiter was friendly and accommodating. The shrimp on avocado was phenomenal.

Again another tasteful and enjoyable night. Wait staff is prompt and courteous, meal presentation and flavor amazing, dessert topped off the entire meal. It is totally worth every return visit I make to Lake Ridge!! If you want a local place to enjoy the best in town, definitely stop by! Steak, seafood, drinks and desserts!

My wife and I have been to Lake Ridge many times over the years. This is the only restaurant I can think of where we have never been disappointed with the food or the service. We went there last night to celebrate our anniversary and were extremely pleased with every aspect of our visit. It's a real treasure for those of us who live in southern Saratoga county.

Great Lobster Betty awesome, updated 7/26 25. Very disappointing Betty still great but bacon rapped shrimp dry and over cooked as was the pork and the fish. Salad disappointing too. They did give us a dessert but having a good to great meal would have been better. Likely the last time it used to be so good.

Excellent service and delicious food. First visit here for my birthday. I had the halibut special and my husband had the New York strip steak special. The halibut was so good and it was a huge piece. The steak was big too and cooked perfectly. We shared tiramisu for dessert. I think we'll make this a Birthday tradition!

This is our special place when we want to celebrate something like an anniversary. It truly is fine dining and the cost does reflect that so you just need to be considered of that. But if anyone knows what fine dining really is then they don't mind paying the price. We will always go back here for our special events.

My husband and I are always looking for new places to call our own. We are also fairly choosy. This spot hit every feel good. Good lighting and ambiance, good service, and fantastic menu! The only competition my dinner had was with desert! We’re in love! Thank you! - the happy first timers!

We were cycling on the Zim Smith Trail and stopped in for an early dinner in our bike gear. Very welcoming. Accommodating for our request to have a different sauce. Specials quite substantial, good value, good wine/beer list. A few quibbles with the menu: swordfish is usually not breaded and deep-fried, parboiled rice is not high-end. But all in all an excellent meal. Chimichurri sauce was rather outstanding, figs sauce on pork tenderloin to my liking, haricot vert were delightfully prepared...tender without tough skins. Will keep it on our date night list!

We decided to check this place out and I am glad we did!! I'm not sure how we have never heard of this place? The ambiance was perfect for a romantic dinner. The waiter was great and the food was absolutely amazing! We ordered the beet salad that my husband absolutely love and filet with a balsamic glaze thats was cooked perfectly. We also ordered the strip and shrimp which had the most amazing flavor. We will be back for sure. It was pricey but we had more than enough food and the experience made it worth it.

This was my second time here for Christmas time dinner celebrations with my brother, his wife, and their friends. Cozy and welcoming atmosphere. I had excellently cooked and prepared rack of lamb as my main entre. Next year again. Got to head back to Maine.

Just read someone's mediocre review and completely disagree !!! We live downstate and never miss an opportunity to dine at lake ridge when we are in the area. Both the food and the service are outstanding. We have never had a bad meal here. On the contrary, it is always scrumptious and is one of our favorite restaurants. Expect to spend a few dollars for quality food and service. It is worth every penny !!

Enjoyed dinner with friends last night.... The restaurant week featured three course meals were excellent! Restaurant was so packed that service was a bit slower than usual and noise level was a bit higher, but we enjoyed the salmon and the pork tenderloin dinners.

If you are driving by the village of Round Lake, you need to stop at Lake Ridge for dinner. This is a white tablecloth style restaurant, but with a family atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The waitress was so nice. She went out of her way to help my grandsons with their food choices. Our meals were excellent. Went in to celebrate 2 birthdays and couldn't have picked a better place to eat. I can't say enough about how good everything was. Thank you so much. 👍🏼👍🏼

I brought my wife and two kids to check out this restaurant for the first time and we knew immediately when we walked in that we were underdressed! We had gone in with just casual clothes on but quickly realized the fine dining atmosphere and felt like we should have dressed up a little nicer. Oh well, lesson learned, but the staff and hostess could care less what we were wearing, they just seemed genuinely happy that we were there! They led us to a very nicely set table with candle light, hot bread and fresh herb butter. The kids had Shirley temples and the wife and I had cocktails. Her cosmo was made just the way she likes it and my Titos Mule was mixed perfectly. We got the bacon wrapped shrimp and pork belly scallops for appetizers and they were both expertly prepared. Our entrees were a pecan encrusted pork chop and a hangar steak with chimmichuri. They were both OUTSTANDING! The pork chop was 4x bigger than a standard pork chop, my steak was cooked perfectly, both sauces were excellent compliments to the meats. We finished the meal off with the salted cheesecake and the chocolate cake which were both amazing. The kids enjoyed a buttered pasta and chicken tenders. Our waitress was prompt, friendly and professional. We got our food in a very reasonable time frame, the menu selections were very diverse, and we were treated like family! I will definitely be back to try some of their other entrees. It was a delicious meal and experience.

Great food and staff. I have food allergies and they are very cautious about that. I usually get the greek chicken dish with red wine. It is a small and intimate restaurant so gets very crowded. Right in the village of Round Lake so a stroll throughout the village after dinner is a good choice!

Wow! What a meal! Few days ago on our way home from a photo shoot my daughter and I stopped to grab an early dinner. At first we thought we were way under dressed and maybe they wouldn't have anything for my vegetarian. The waitress asked us if we would like to be seated and I mentioned my concerns. She quickly told us we were fine and stated the chef would be happy to put together a vegetarian option. I have NEVER had a better steak in my life! My daughter had zucchini pasta, mediterranean rice and spinach. All I can say is wow from start to finish. Comfortable, beautiful, clean, delicious and the service was impeccable. Bravo Lake Ridge restaurant in Round Lake! I will be back!

WOW! What an amazing evening at Lake Ridge. We picked this cozy, romantic spot for our 3rd anniversary and it did not disappoint! We started with the Lobster Betty and the Artichoke Soufflé... Both to die for!!! Then we tried to make room for our entrees: The Duck and the Lamb Chop special. SO GOOD, we had to take home leftovers! That didn't stop us from ordering dessert... The Creme Brulee & La Bomba. We will definitely be returning before anniversary #4!

Very good restaurant, clearly upscale in both the quality of the food they serve and the prices they charge. Wife and I go there on special occasions - but it's too pricey for every day dining. Wise to book ahead for dinner, but you usually can just walk in a noon. The main dining room is cozy, but the two newer spaces are a bit less friendly. Parking can be a challenge - there are spots in front of the restaurant, and across the street next to the church. But if all of those are taken, be aware that parking on the street is frowned upon in the village of Round Lake. However, there are some parking lots a few blocks away that can be used for overflow.

Food and service are excellent. You can have a conversation and hear. There is no rush to get your food and move you out for the next customer. This is an older house broken up into rooms. You will like the atmosphere. Worth the price.

Delicious food and a great drink menu. Had lunch on a busy Wednesday before the holidays. Service pace was a little slow,. When one of our diner's meal was wrong (twice), they corrected it and bought us dessert. Good experience overall!

Pleasantly relaxed feel for a finer dining experience. We greatly enjoyed the spinach&artichoke dip (so creamy), crabcake (a well balanced meal in itself with refreshing salad and exquisite sauce), and walnut pie (homemade with molten chocolate layer). Portions were generous and price was lower than expected for the quality. We'll be back for these three at the least. Veal&crab entrée was a bit less stellar, leaning too much on a mushroom earthy flavor for my taste. The buttered lobster tail was on the tough side with a too bitter sauteed salad, good for presentation and tasty enough together but not a cut above.

The appetizers (spinach and artichoke dip, crab cake) were really excellent, the dinners were fine (veal and mushrooms, steak), the chocolate walnut pie for dessert was outstanding. My SO and I will absolutely be back, but will probably just share apps and dessert next time (which will be affordable too).

We've been going to Lake Ridge for years. Since it's near our home, sometimes we pop in for a quick bite at the bar but most of the time we make a reservation (recommended) and sit at a table. On our most recent visit we were having a family birthday dinner. The service was excellent and everyone's meals were perfect. In my opinion, Lake Ridge does a particularly good job with fish so be sure to order one of their fish dishes from the menu or try one of the fish specials. Finally if you go out to dine, not just to eat, this is the place to slow down and enjoy the dining experience.

If it's all about the food, this place is great, albeit $$$$. my veal jacqueline was fantastic. that said, the rooms are small and can get quite loud. in summer AC is very, sometimes too cold. wait staff knowledgeable but pushy at times. From order to entree, it was over an hour. You come here for the food, not the environment.

I may have caught them on an off night, but while my dish (Greek chicken) had the potential to be delicious, it was overwhelmingly salty. Unfortunately, the same applied to our appetizer (spinach artichoke dip). On the bright side, the ambiance was cozy, and the service was excellent. I might give it another try in the future and simply request less salt.

It was good. Really had higher expectations for the food. At those prices(which completely understand before going), I really thought food would be delicious. It was good, not great. At $230, including tip for 3 people, it needs to be great. All 3 dishes just lacking full flavor.

Menu is interesting. Service was not great. We had a5 year old and it seemed pretty clear that was a mistake. We felt like no one was thrilled to serve you as we were sat 2nd out of 6 groups and were served last and checked out last. The food had good flavors but some food was served cold. Likely seems more for an older crowd and might have been better without our daughter.

The scallops were great and the steak was good. Although the appetizer costed more than on the menu. They had also upgraded a side salads to a meal sized salad without the customer’s consent.

The waiter forgot to our appetizers. The food was mediocre at best. For the prices they are charging, I expected better. The wait staff wasn’t friendly but paid for the dessert since the apps were forgotten. The dessert was average. Probably will not go again.
