Opinions de Raising Cane's Round Rock
It's been a long time since I last visited Raising Cane's and they did well this time. I bought the three piece meal and noticed they have stopped the coleslaw as a side. No complaints here as each time I had it in the past the slaw had soured. It was always a sore point for me. The chicken, fries and Texas toast were hot and fresh. The Raising Cane's special sauce was delicious as always. No complaints at all.
I ate here for the first time and it was wonderful. I've always thought that Zaxby's had the best chicken but I was wrong! The chicken sandwich I got was huge and delicious. They have a proprietary sauce that is excellent and came on the sandwich. The fries were perfectly cooked and they were salted just right. On the way out, an employee offered to take my tray and empty them into the trash. Impressive customer service there! Highly recommended!
My sister and I stopped in on our way home today. Our first time at Raising Cane. It was really good chicken, the cashier was awesome. They sell individual chicken strips for less than $2.00 each. And no issue at all when you ask for just 1 strip,( my sister), or just 2 strips and water(me). With tax I paid less than $4 and my sister paid less than $2. We were there about 30 minutes. One of the servers(?) came by and asked if we wanted her to take any of the trash on our table and I gave it to her. She was not hurrying us in any way, just being nice and keeping the place clean. When we were leaving I told my sister that she should get a water too because it was her favorite ice. She said no, that's ok, they are busy. A minute later the manager, or assistant manager, walked up and handed her a tall water. Just like that. Told us to have a great day and gave us a big smile to leave on. We will be back here. I love chicken tenders that are juicy, tender and crunchy. These are that and tasty. Y'all stop and get some! You will be glad you did.
This was my daughter's must visit when we went to Round Rock for spring break. She throughly enjoyed the 3 piece meal. She highly recommends Raising Cane's.
After my experience here, it is absolutely mind-boggling to me why reasonable people would ever decide to step foot in this establishment without speaking to Lawson (hope I spelled that correctly). The dude provided top-notch service to us this evening, and I may make this the only Cane’s I ever eat at from now on.
I'm not a huge Rasing Caims fan, but this location gets it right. The food was delicious and served up fast.
Excellent service. Mary at the front counter was great.
Friendly service, was a little cold in there but I think that was just from the fans.
The food is imaculate! I wish i could eat it everyday without consequences. Best food out there in the fast food industry. Foods great, workers are great, Great atmosphere, very clean.
Big thank you to the crew of this Raisin' Canes (and the guy behind me in line lol) for helping me push my car into a parking spot when it died in your drive thru line! Despite the faults of my car, service was fast and the food was very thoughtfully brought out to me. The chicken was hot and fresh, and the toast was nicely toasted! Just what I needed after such a dilemma. Big thank you again to the crew here on (6/17/24 @~8:20pm) you know who you are! :-)
Children's favourite, everytime we order more.
The service here is outstanding! They have the best attitudes and are just overall friendly. The food is good as always with Cane’s. The restaurant is nice and open, so very comfortable to sit and eat inside. They’re also super fast, while still providing fresh tasting food.
Great food, and great service at a great price. A chicken sandwich combo at just above $6 is an absolute steal. Always fresh likely due to the line that is usually wrapped around the building. However, even so the service is notably quick. For a quick lunch or satisfying dinner would 10/10 recommend.
Always love Raising Cane's. Flavor takes me back to my childhood and that's an eon.
Canes is always a must go to lunch spot. I don’t think I have ever had a time where a box combo hasn’t taken me from a sad place to a happy place. I the sauce is to die for and so is the Texas toast. This specific location despite always being busy, always gets me through the line in a timely manner
It was an extraordinary experience! I have never encountered such exceptional customer service at a fast food establishment. The service was remarkably quick, and the food met my expectations. The staff demonstrated remarkable efficiency and coordination. Notably, an employee even took the initiative to collect our trays after we finished our meal. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience, and I highly recommend this establishment.
What else is there to say bout Cains? It's good chicken and it's all bout the dipping sauce. The chicken always comes out hot and crispy, the buttered toast is nice, the crinkle cut fries are good, and the throw in slaw good and not sweet. This location for me, always tends to be pretty quick even though they are just off the 35. I definitely recommend Cains over other Chicken chains.
Raising Cane's has the best Chicken Tenders, and the in-house made Honey Mustard is a must-have. I highly recommend them 👌!!
Raising canes was quick. We came here after the movies and by far the best. We got our food fresh and the chicken and fries was made just right. We would love to give a special shout out to the worker Lawson and the cashier whom I didn’t catch his name but Mr. Lawson, made sure our order was perfect. He even came to visit during his lunch to make sure my family was satisfied and he does deserve employee of the month. Thank you raising canes for the best sweet tea. 😎🫖
Raising Cane's is one of my favorite places for quick, good tasting food. They turn through a lot of chicken here, so you can count on it being tasty and fresh. The service is also on point and they have some of the most friendly people in a fast-food establishment. I love the cool vibe in this store with the disco ball and gear hanging on the walls from the local high schools. However, the queen of the ball at any Cane's is the Cane's Sauce. That stuff is so delicious, I wish I could soak in a hot tub full of it. I would wash my hair and lather every inch of my body with this magical stuff. Hold my beer...
Les than 5min ready, CHICKEN WAS THE BEST EVER Went inside to talk to manager and let them know they are doing great job. Usually its just chicken nothing special but oh man tonight was special so crispy not dry he said girl was working on it Well girl you are a superwoman! Heck yeah!!! This is my number one chicken place!
Good and you 👍☺️ to get Bennnan because of your day dad is not 🚭🚫 but I know he had 2 snacks 🥨😋 but I was in my lunch and was a bit of him and the low 🔅 and then I guess I will and we will see i was in a bit but he had 2 and then I will and he will and we can do the child 🚸 I guess it was a bit and let him but I
Love the taste not to greasy. Enough to feed two small children Prices like everything else is a little but that's why it's always a special treat for the kids 😁
The place has a great vibe! The chicken was good, and the sauce is a controlled substance for good reason, you might drink it.
Good chivken n fries n slaw. Ate last evening outside, a little street noise but low humidiry made it a nice time. Cashier was friendly and helpful
Raising Cane’s is a top-tier spot for chicken lovers, and its signature Cane’s Sauce is the perfect complement to their crispy, juicy chicken tenders. The sauce has a tangy, slightly peppery flavor that enhances the tenders’ golden, crunchy breading, making every bite delicious. Their simple yet high-quality menu focuses on doing one thing exceptionally well—chicken fingers—and they consistently deliver fresh, flavorful meals. Beyond the food, Raising Cane’s is also a great choice for catering. Whether you're hosting a party, office lunch, or game-day gathering, their catering options provide a hassle-free way to serve up crowd-pleasing comfort food. The portions are generous, and everything arrives hot and ready to eat, making it a reliable go-to for feeding a group. The restaurant itself has a fun and energetic atmosphere, often decorated with local flair and upbeat music that adds to the experience. Another unique aspect of Raising Cane’s is its origin story—founded by Todd Graves, who faced skepticism about his one-item concept but persevered to create a nationwide sensation. This commitment to quality and simplicity is part of what makes Cane’s so popular. Whether you're dining in, grabbing a quick meal, or catering an event, Raising Cane’s offers consistently great food, friendly service, and a laid-back, welcoming vibe.
My first Cane's Chicken experience was fantastic! It's one of my husband favorite. Food was hot fresh REAL chicken. Marc was unhappy with his bread and an employee came out to ask how everything was and he mentioned the bread and she went back and brought him a new piece. She also gave him a little tidbit, you can ask for bob'd piece of bread you want (butter on both sides).
It’s always, for me, clean, organized, friendly, and fresh…EVEN at peak lunch and dinner…very consistent. I’ve done dine-in and pickup; for pickup, my items were ready, fresh and hot. Great flexibility with menu, too. You can mix and match and replace things with extras of something else…I didn’t want the Texas toast, so I could pick extra crinkle fries or slaw (so good) or whatever. Thumbs up!
Let's be real. The greeting at all Canes is kinda weird. But so is me showing up at 12:00 for a caniac combo to split with my fiancé. I'm a hot sauce fiend. Every time I go I use quite a bit. Never have they ever not given my embarrassing amount of 10 hot sauces. Serving sizes are a little smaller than three years ago but literally every company is doing that. 10/10 always craving this on a late night. Ty to the team that's always great.
A few items were missed on my drive thru order and I didn’t realize until I got home. I didn’t want to drive back in the rain so Karen gave me the option to come back the next day which I did and they were very accommodating and friendly. I live in Pflugerville, but I actually prefer this location instead of the one closer to me. Great customer service and good food!
Quick delicious food served hot and fresh. We arrived at lunchtime and had great service and delicious food. I got a two piece small meal and it was more than enough. Love the sauce.
The male manager on duty tonight was a wonderful representation of how a manager should run their store. I placed a mobile order on the app and added the breast cancer awareness bear. When I got there, he informed me that the bear has been sold out for a while now and he would let IT know since it was still being offered on the app. He tried to refund the money for the bear, but he said the system wouldn’t let him process it, so he refunded my entire order, and gave me 3 Halloween cups for the inconvenience. That truly made my night and a wonderful start to the week. Raising Canes is one of my favorite places to order from and because of this. Thank you! 😊
They are very friendly and nice always have a smile on their faces .Their service is fast . Their food is always hot and fresh. They always get my order right. . I do recommend this place.
I don’t come here often but when I do I am never ever disappointed. I always get the Caniac, 6 tenders, fries and change out my coleslaw for another piece of toast. Alot of young teenagers work here, seems like they’re in high school but all of them are extremely friendly and kind and are very professional when interacting with. The ones in the back cooking are skilled and know how to pay attention to details. The atmosphere in there is nice. Southern but not too much, modern warm welcome feeling. Even the outside seating feels like you’re at a fine dining restaurant. Plenty of room to park even with all the cars waiting in line at the drive through. Canes chicken is definitely my top 5 chicken restaurants I go to. This location is absolutely amazing. Please give the teenage employees a raise as they deserve it for their great hard work.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I had such a wonderful experience at Reese and Cane’s! The staff was incredibly sweet and welcoming from the moment I walked in. It’s rare to come across such genuine kindness and great customer service these days, but they truly went above and beyond. You can tell they care about their customers. Thank you for making my visit so pleasant I’ll definitely be coming back!
I typically enjoy Raising Cane’s every Sunday, and today, I decided to try this location for the first time with my 7-year-old. I’m so glad I did—it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, which really set the tone for a great meal. The chicken tenders here seemed even better than the ones at the Pflugerville location I usually visit—crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. My son, who absolutely loves Raising Cane’s, was so happy, and seeing him enjoy his meal in such a warm and inviting atmosphere truly made my day. All in all, this location has won me over, and I’ll be making it my go-to spot every Sunday from now on. Thank you to the amazing team here for such a wonderful experience!
Best experience in a restaurant ever. Round Rock Canes was one of the most fastest, friendliest, and most importantly cleanest restaurants I've ever been to. Thank you canes. Who knows I just might show up to your restaurant next. If I'm inspired like I was here I'll feature your place as well. Thank you Canes.
Stopped in for lunch today, Staff are friendly and helpful, they got my order out efficiently and everything fresh hot and delicious! The restaurant is clean with lots of seating from a bar like table by the front to the booths and high tables all around. As well as a few tables that could be arranged to accommodate wheelchairs I believe. It is not quiet, but the atmosphere is good, nice music and smiles all around. I will definitely be making this a top spot for my lunch break in the coming lunches.
Man, this place is always busy! If you're thinking of grabbing some for dinner expect to wait in line!!!!!! They still have dine-in closed which is such a bummer because everyone knows fried chicken is best served hot! I probably actually stop here once out of every 5 times I want to eat here because the line is seriously wrapped around the parking lot. They can't get people through the line quick enough. It's usually best to go during lunch on week days. Food is good. Love the sauce. Kid approved!
I was pleasantly surprised with a high quality and flavor of the chicken. Other than that there wasn't anything really exceptional about this, my first visit at raising Cane's. There are too many other good chicken places to make this a regular stop for me. I won't mind coming back on occasion.
Visited many lunch breaks an always recieved grand service an delicious food.
The best thing I like about Canes is that they are straight-up simple. Other than a combo meal, they are simply purveyors of great tasting chicken tenders. I'm not sure if I like the fact that they only have one type of sauce for your chicken. While their secret sauce was okay, I would have liked a second choice of sauces. As far as their fries are concerned, while similar to McDonald's, I didn't think they were as good. Additionally, their Texas toast was soggy. So boys and girls, other than the sauce, fries and toast, the chicken tenders held their own.
Very happy team members and wonderfully clean lobby but PLEASE cook the tenders longer. They continue to be soggy but the toast keeps me hopeful. Since they usually come out soggy, I've asked for extra crispy on my last 4 visits- drive thru, curbside, counter order, and online pick up. Each time soggier than the last. Maybe I'm ordering wrong, idk. I will be back for some toast and fruit punch- but y'all better cook them thangs, I beg!
Canes is definitely solid, as far as fast food is concerned. Their menu is extremely simple. They basically only serve chicken strips, but they do it well. This particular one has a peculiar drive through, but the food was good as always and also very quick as well.
Food tasted great, but I thought the 3 chicken tenders I got in the meal deal were really small for the cost and the too small serving of slaw
Always satisfying. You definitely need to eat at the restraunt to enjoy the cripsiness in it's full glory. I have noticed the prices have gone up a bit and sometimes the tender sizes have shrunk, which can be disappointing.
The food was pretty good. Service was quick.
So I’m from Florida we don’t have Canes. My boyfriend picked this up for us to try. The chicken was very good. The canes sauce was good but not as spectacular as I always hear about on social media. Very good chicken strips.
Did a late night food run for my daughter while she was doing me a favor. I've personally never eaten Cane's before, but I was pleased with how quickly the long line disappeared, the staff was pleasantly courteous, and my daughter loved every bite (she was really hungry at 2348 hts). If they start serving veggie/plant-based "chicken"options, I'd be the first in line to give it a try!
Y’all I’m sitting at a booth at Cane’s (Uni Blvd, Round Rock location) because I really wanted to deliver this review as quickly as they delivered my meal. For fast food chains, honestly that was the fastest turnaround I received my food! Never mind speed though; let’s talk quality and customer service: Customer service: the staff are so lovely and kind! I appreciate the front end staff stop what they’re doing (safely and within reason of course) to put the customer order first. My order was taken right away despite how busy it looked. They moved through the line quickly AND they maintained their kindness with every customer, including me! Food: OK so, naturally, the pièce de résistance is their chicken tenders! They do have a chicken sandwich option, but most of their menu are chicken tenders in combos. Now, I ordered the 4 piece combo. Very delicious but I have to nitpick on one thing. While the chicken was indeed tender and juicy, and the garlic bread—oh, the garlic bread was so delicious—I have to say I was disappointed that the chicken itself lacked… salt or some seasoning. The breaded part of the chicken, you can taste the salt and seasoning but if the exterior falls off or you happen to eat it alone, you discover that the chicken itself lacked flavour. No matter though, it was still good!! But I found I had to dip the tenders in their sauce more than I wanted to. Anyway, all in all, this was a wonderful first-time experience and I’d definitely come back!
The last 4 times I have visited the breading of the chicken is definitely cooked in burned oil. I don’t know if being surrounded by cooked chicken all day the workers can’t tell but at home I am able to smell it before each bite and ruins my appetite.
Constantly regretting going to this canes. For instance, tonight over cooked fires, brown ones, lemonade barely taste like anything. But the last few months, every time I go, I think to myself, “this was not good at all”. Wrote this before I checked my whole order. It was wrong, the woman taking my order didn’t seem to really care.
Nice location. There is plenty of seating. The food was great. Unfortunately, many tables were dirty, and I had to wipe a table to sit at myself. They didn't seem understaffed as there were a few team members doing "busy work," so I'm not sure why the dining room tables could get wiped down. That is the reason for my 3 star rating. I shouldn't have gone to 4 tables and found them dirty when they were not busy.
I haven’t been here in about a year. I went today to get a box combo and the chicken tenders got smaller. When did this happen? Definitely my favorite chicken place to go. The food is always good
I usually do take out here 3-4 times between myself and my teenage son and today was just the last day I could bare. The inconsistency’s here with the chicken is truly aggravating , small tenders, crunchy batter falling off, old chicken , chewy chicken , very disappointed when you workout to enjoy these tenders !!!
It was good but the fried chicken was not as good as expected and the hype is js too much
Didn't get their name but was very rude. Handed me my food at the drive thru and said nothing to me. No thank, have a great day. Almost threw my food at me.
Read all the reviews. Sounded like a place we just HAD to visit. Sadly mistake. Line was around the block. Parked and went inside. Super nice staff. Clean place. Chicken was ok. Nothing to write home about. On par with chickfilet. Grossly undercooked fries. So-so coleslaw. I'd eat again but, wouldn't go out of my way to visit. I'd ask all these reviewers...have you never had good chicken before? This place is just mediocre.
I was craving Cane’s as we had not had it in a while. I was a little bummed bc it didn’t taste like I remember. I have not had it in a couple of months. The food was very hot and fresh and they also got our order right. However, the sweet tea was hardly sweet and the chicken, while it was fresh and still good, did not taste as good as it normally does. Almost tasted like the tenders were a little chewy or they’d been thawed out too quickly? I’m not sure.
Been there twice, both times through the drive thu. Friendly and fast service but both times the breading on the tenders was soggy like they were under cooked or maybe the oil wasn't hot enough and the fries were room temp at best. Disappointing.
We love Raising Cane‘s food. But I’ve been to this location three times for a pickup order of tailgate size strips. two of the three times my dipping sauce is missing. Since this is supposed to come with six+ dipping sauces, you would think it would be hard to miss that they haven’t been included
Today our experience was not the best. The chicken was chewy and soggy, and even though we asked for crispy fries, they were soggy as well. The girl who took our order was very friendly..
Everything is usually good, recently the chicken tastes different, but i’m just upset they keep messing up my unsweetened iced tea and giving me sweet tea😭😭 Please check your orders..
Typically, the experience of dining here is pleasant. I've dined at this establishment before and had a good meal. However, during my last visit, I was somewhat disappointed as the chicken I ordered seemed old and had a chewy texture.
I don't know what it is about this location in particular, but I've been here three times in the past two months. Each time I ask for a Caniac combo with extra sauce and toast. I've gotten 4 tenders instead of 6 each time. Tonight half the entire order was missing. Check your order before you leave and verify everything is there. For $20 I expect more.
As of late the chicken tenders have been sized more like chicken nuggets. This has been consistently the case as of the last few months. So, to put that in perspective, you get like three chicken nuggets, fries, and some bread. Just wish the size of the tenders were reflective of the price you pay.
Foods starting to go down hill. Not sure why. Lemonade tasted funny too.
Everytime , Whenever i go to Chicken Canes , i see the chicken fingers' sizes get smaller and they fill the combo with more fries and smaller portion of chicken fingers. Canes management thinks They are smarter than the clienymts to decrease the cost !!!!! Please if you visit again , pay attention to Your combo box . They put more fries and less fingers
I came here about 30 minutes ago and specified multiple times about how instead of coleslaw i wanted extra fries but instead was met with the same old caniac combo order. Also I ordered a half and half tea and never received it when the drink is the first thing someone typically receives when picking up their drive through order. I even asked at the window if my order was correct when picking up my food and was met with rude and dismissive employees. Yes employees because multiple people came to the window to give me my order. Although i did receive my extra sauce and was okay with the extra charge. i was still disappointed with the lack of observation and care as a customer and would recommend any canes fans just to go to the canes off of whitestone blvd.
Tiny tenders, what else can I say? 2 Caniac combos and a box combo $58, Yeah you give me "6" tenders but let's be honest each tender is 1.5-2" really a 6 piece is a 3 piece. Service was meh, definitely not chick fil a worthy... ask me why write a review?
I heard how great Cane's chicken was, however I was very disappointed in the taste of the batter and chicken. The fries were just ok, the coleslaw tasted like pickle juice, and the sauce was not good. The bread was cold. I am really giving a higher rating than it really deserves. I'm just so disappointed in the taste of everything and the very limited menu. I cannot recommend this place to anyone I know in good faith.
Ordered curbside, wait for a while final went in and got the food myself. Wouldn't have been a problem if the girl inside didn't decide to argue with me about why they didn't bring it out to my car. She insisted I didn't include a make/model of my vehicle.. I did. Food is good, service leaves you wanting more. The one in Georgetown or further into Round Rock are much better
So was exited about a canes coming to round Rock. But I was quickly disappointed after I ordered the 3 finger combo when I discovered they clearly have shrunk the size of their tenders while at the same time the meal has gotten 50 cents more expensive. The only thing Canes is raising is their prices.
They say they will refund but don’t ever do it. #watchout #liars
If you love chicken fingers or tenders that are smaller than any generic "nugget," then this is the place for you. These chicken "fingers" are smaller than my 6 year-old niece's tiny little fingers! First and last time I waste my money here. Why why why does this place have such a cult following??? You've got to give your guests SOME kind of value!
Crying for sauce , next time go to Chick-fil-A free sauces. Check out the incident where they called cops and had a girl catch a felony over sauces
*Staying at 1* Again, no sauce and my curbside said walk in. Even though it asked for my vehicle type. Luckily I checked this time. I even put "please add the sauce." It's really gone downhill over the last year or so. *Dropped to 1*. Twice now there was no sauce. I always order the 25 tenders. A part of that is 8 sauces. Honestly, it isn't that great without the sauce. I love this place, but man has it gotten expensive. Luckily the offer a military discount, but even still it's increased 30-40% in the last 4 years. Edited from 5 stars all around to less. 19JAN25. Why do I have to go inside when I order online for curbside. I'm sitting there after plugging in my info. When I walk in it's ready to go. I'm sick, I don't want to walk in, yet here I am in your store sick as a dog because I'm now 15 minutes past my "ready" time.
I’m not one to complain on here, but this needs to be addressed. I got a Caniac combo tenders and the amount of food I got was like a kids meal. I got two chicken tenders and then two small bite-size chicken tenders. Also I wasn’t able to eat the last two because they weren’t fully cooked. To all employees at Raising Cane’s take your time cooking the stuff because you’re sending out uncooked food.
I ordered on 06-28-2025 and requested two extra Cains sauces for my order and paid for them. They did not place these in the order then refused to reimburse the few odd cents it would cost to replace. I hate having to check my order for completeness every time at the drive through window, but this is a repeat issue with one or two items always missing if I add or subtract from a standard menu item. I think the quality of employees at this location is subpar, which is undoubtedly a product of poor management.
Went to get some food after work….chose canes cause they close at 2am. I got there around 1…place looked extremely closed. Went to the drive through, they were definitely pretending to be closed. Called out my order, finally someone responded. Went through the line to pay, to then be informed that they were out of coleslaw and lemonade, crazy cause they still had an hour left….so I called the store to ask, the girl told me that they pre-close every night; I’m in the service industry, closing a whole hour before you hours of operations is CRAZY, to be out the basic menu items again and hour before close. I know they’re all in high school and don’t care, but when I’m paying $40 for chicken tenders I just want baseline service…..oh and they still charged me for the lemonade they were out of
Over this last year, I’ve been to this location, maybe four times. Every single time they forget to put utensils and napkins. Please train your staff appropriately.
Incomplete order. Ordered 4 strip. No coleslaw no bread. Too pricey to muck up orders. Fries were overcooked as well to my liking.
Update: Called the number listed below and no one answered my call. I stand by my review. 11.20.25. I had not been to a raising canes since time on LSUs campus-IYKYK. But this location in ROUND ROCK needs to do better raising canes! Are you kidding me- $10.71 for The 3 Finger and this is what we get? The strips appear to be from a kids menu and the 🍟 must have been counted by hand. I give 5 stars for service because the person outside and at the window (appear to be students) were nice and welcoming. Extremely disappointing to not get the value of the food. Guess I will be taking a trip to Leander for Laynes Chicken on Hero Way. I really thought I was going to have a college nostalgic moment by visiting RC’s and I did not which is very disappointing. I called the store and no one answered. Location was not busy, but steady.
