We tried the shrimp tacos which my daughter enjoyed. I ordered fried catfish that was not great, the fish was undercooked ( asked for well done) because I don't like slimy texture. 15 dollars for one fillet. 4 fried shrimp added on was 9 bucks extra. Place was busy, most tables were eating Mexican food. Maybe that is their strength.

Decent tacos. They have a lot of options on the menu. Server was a little impatient while we studied the menu. Definitely a working class/swing by on you way to work place. Clean restrooms and dining room. Interesting decor and I'll definitely be back to try the fish tacos. Wheelchair accessible

Delicious breakfast tacos, and the salsas has a great flavor and kick to them! I’ve been coming to Tio Dan’s for close to 10 years when it used to be the old one before it burned down. This new location is much nicer, cleaner, and most importantly same great tacos! Definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone! Staff is usually always nice, only thing that bugs me is the phone service, but not worth deducting a star for. Update: I initially said I wouldn’t deduct a star, but this was the third time in the past two weeks I’ve been here and the lady at the register has been rude answering the phone and now when I was picking up an order was rude as well. Food gets people to go to a restaurant, but the service is what keeps you there... Not tempting to come when I get bad service...

The food here is awesome it's the service that's no good. The ladies at the counter are VERY RUDE. When you call to place an order they answer but put you on hold for at least 10-15 minutes. When they finally get back to you they are VERY SHORT with you everything is a rush when they talk to you so you don't get to complete your order.

AVOID THIS PLACE. Ridiculous I have come here for 2 years more than once a week they upgraded there system and drinks alone are 3$ for at most a 16oz cup they charge 2.06 then put a .80 upcharge to get to the "large" 16oz and yet before the system is was told there is only one cup size for fountain drinks it sucks to come from real Mexican food near the border for most of my life to finally find a decent place to them doing this is paid 15.00 for the pork chop plate and got a tiny chop my wife's omelet was bigger and costed less, not to mention a .62 charge for a side of shredded cheese that they forgot to even give me. I will never be returning to this place.

I work across the street and only have 30min for lunch. I've ordered from them multiple times and the food is good, but they mess up my order HABITUALLY! I ordered a STEAK quesadilla and got a CHEESE quesadilla. I've given up on them and just going to McDonald's from now on. Poor attention to detail and I'M the one who has to pay for it. Never again and that sucks because their beef steak is REALLY GOOD, which is the only reason I kept going back.

We arrive there 30 minutes before closing and attemped to order 2 fish taco plates. We were headed to Dallas from a vaction in the hill country. This is one of our favorite places and we always stop there for fish taco. Except this time they quickly said they were working on the fryers and could not produce anything that was fried. I quickly realized they just didn't want to activate the fryers again so they could leave early. That was unacceptable and I asked to speak to the manager Juan. Juan refused to speak with us and we had to leave without tacos on our 3 hour trip back home. This is not good business. If you want to leave at 3 on the dot, I suggest you adjust your closing time to 2:30 on a weekday. Obviously time is needed to breakdown and clean restaurant equippment after a day of work but this should not be at the expense of the customers that go out of their way to support your business.
