Really, really nice and cool >**looking and clean on the inside. Not too many people inside but it was about 430pm when we stopped by. Drive thru had a good sized line going that's why we chose to go inside. Again it looked really cool inside, can't get over it.

He enjoyed them both.i had my usual ham and cheese but wanted to try the jalepeno bread, it had a good flavor and made the sandwhich even better. Yes we will go back. It was all good!

Why was the tea changed. I do looked forward to the fantastic sweet tea. Today I was told they had changed their tea. It tasted like some kind of insta-tea. And without knowing I ordered my usual large with a side of a smoke turkey sandwich to only be told they don’t do large anymore. So I ordered two medium and actually got charged for three. I took them all to discover the distasteful disappointment. PLEASE change it back . 9/1/20 Thank you for bringing back your fresh brewed sweet tea! Love it!

Lunchtime, 26 June 23: their cash registers went down just as the lunch crowd began to arrive. Instead of turning people away, the manager instructed the crew to write down our orders and names on post-it notes, and continue to prepare and serve. She said she would advise us when the registers were up again, so we could pay. After I finished my meal, I asked the manager if the registers were back online. She replied no, your lunch is on me. Wow! What a wonderfully gracious thing to do! The food is great, the crew is friendly and the manager blessed my day!

More than anything, this review is to say I’m sorry that old lady in the red shirt in front of me was so rude and snappy with you for no reason. You folks don’t deserve that at all. The food here is excellent every time I come, and so is the service. You all did a fantastic job during the lunch rush :)

Nice location. I am a fan of schlotzskys. I love the bread and that is the best part of the sandwich. I always ask for extra crispy and it makes it even better. This location has a larger outdoor space if you want to sit on a patio.

This particular branch had ample dining area with patio seating and indoor. The original was really good. I haven't had this chain in about 10 years due to lack of access, so I treated myself. The jalapeno chips were extra spicy. The sweet tea was good. The efficiency of the kitchen was impressive. When I walked in, there was a family reunion going on. . . I asked if they ordered, but got the head shake.

It was lunch time and the wife wanted a sandwich and though we usually eat deli style sandwiches today she wanted some schlotzsky's. We drove over to our local schlotzsky's and the La Frontera shopping center. This location have been eating at for a long time so long. I remember when they had the iMacs from 04-06 when you could use the internet on those things in store?. Anyways, we get to the counter and my favorite thing to get with my wife is a large turkey original, no mayo and mustard extra black olives. The large gives us enough to eat. If she's extra hungry. She'll eat too. I'm extra hungry. I'll eat three. Paired with a salt vinegar chips. We get to have ourselves some crispiness to go with that awesome sandwich. Usually when I'm here I drink a root beer which I'm not a big soda drinker but root beer goes reallys. No dessert this time, but we did notice that there was some pizza specials going on. $5 pizzas and up after 5:00 p.m.

We were in the area and wanted to try out this Schlotzkys. My in-laws were with us and they hadn’t been to this place in like 12 years. So we took them there. My father in law had the Fiesta Chicken and my husband had the Turkey Avocado sandwich. My mom in-law and me had the veggie pizza. All of it was extremely good. My mom in-law loved the pizza. The have other vegetarian options like the veggie sandwich too. It was such a spacious restaurant and the cashier was really friendly and helpful.

I'd give this place 5 stars if they could just do one little thing: give me the extra extra red onion I always order for once instead of the four measly strings I end up getting on my sandwiches.

I really like Schlotzsky's. However, they did away with my favorite sandwich, which was the Pastrami on dark bread. I downgrade them slightly because they no longer bring your food out to the table. Also, I find it annoying that I have to beg for pickles to go with my sandwiches.

Sandwich was great. Cinnabon centers were nasty. They messed up on my app order so I had to wait on it longer.

I love the original sandwich at Schlotzsky’s so much that I really never order any other entree. I’ll just admit that straight off. But a few Schlotzsky’s do a poor job. Most do well enough. But this one consistently does it right. The sandwich is always hot AND juicy AND has all the stuff spread out evenly. Update April 2021. Things have changed since I last reviewed two years ago. No yogurt. Still have pretty good sandwiches and friendly staff. But the day I got here there were LONG waits between ordering and getting our order. 15 minutes or more. And what we DID get was a partially correct order. Same for the three customers waiting ahead of us. And the two behind us. Oops. It all got fixed in the end (my teenage boy was happy because he got to eat the “wrong” medium sandwich plus the right one when it came.) But some fixin’ is in order.

This location has awesome service. Nisa deserves 5 ⭐️s. She went above and beyond to assist us during our order. She was pleasant and knowledgeable. The guy who brought us our food was also pleasant and professional. The lobby was not clean however... this is the only reason I gave it a 4 Star.

I love me some Schlotzsky's! My sandwich was perfect as usual and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The only thing I can't agree with us the allowance of animals inside a restaurant. Except for service dogs who are trained to not to act like a typical dog. They do their job. But there are some people now who abuse that service and get untrained pets and have them registered as "service animals". It is unsanitary for dogs to run around or be held like a baby at an eatery. Unfortunately the "all about me me me" people are forcing businesses to bend to them. I'll be back but more vocal about this nuisance to sanitary conditions.

The location is easy access. Parking was also easy. The inside was clean and currently doing social spacing. The food was good and pretty quick. They have cinnamon rolls right up front to entice you. The people were also nice

One of my favorite sandwich chains. Good menu with many non-sandwich choices. Their main sandwich choice is "The Original" which is similar to the the New Orleans muffalatta. A lot of healthier options. Some locations have Cinnabon (cinnamon roll) counters inside which could not be considered healthy but the are good. Especially when you get them freshly baked.

The sourdough bread that comes with these sandwiches is pretty unique. The prices are surprisingly generous. It always seems like the most of the meat is on one side of the sandwich and I can't tell if that's on purpose. Overall, I had a pretty good experience.

I've long thought that, rather than judging a franchise by when or how they mess up but rather, by how they mitigate errors and handle customer experience.. Can't thank the manager, Gary, enough. The last time we ate here, we picked up through the drive-thru. I ended up with someone else's sandwich, a small instead of a medium, all the vegetables instead of none.. and was pretty angry, Tonight they kept their promise to make it up to me. Bravo!

I ordered the pick 2. I love that I can do that. Great options. The food tasted great. Only down side I went during my lunch and it was hard to find a clean table. They must of been busy or shorthand.

The food is good and our order is usually correct, when we dine in. However, every time (so far) when I go to the drive through, the order is messed up in one way or another. Were this issue to be addressed and fixed, my rating will reflect accordingly.

Tables were dirty. Pizza was barely warm, but the pizza sauce was good. Also, I generally hate that single source drinking kiosk, but the Coke actually tasted like it should have.

Had a sandwich from Schlotzsky's .in Florida 2008..and was sadend by the greasy BREAD Back then. Well ...I am still sad after having a sandwich from there here in Austin 2021..but the meat and the rest on it was Great... watch out for the BREAD. Just my Opinion folks.

Today was not a good day, for the first time I have come to schlotzskys and left with a bad experience. They r used to being on top of there game but today was not it. Ordered some sandwiches and that's all we got, they didn't offer sodas or chips or anything other then what was ordered. Love this place but today was not a good day.

Low score 3..not good place for evening "Original" sandwich. Any other time, a rating of 4 - 5. Their sandwich sourdough bread is always dry and 'tasteless' (seems they rush in preparation?), few times, no pickle included in my order. Work on keeping bread fresh and add spice and/or flavor to the sandwich to make it more tasty. Other than that, I like the place, just have to choose what time of day I chose to eat there.

We got there in hurry. They were very slow. The tables were dirty. The floor was dirty. The pastrami on dark rye tasted great. That was the one redeeming value for that Schlotzsky's, that the food was good, and the fact that I was holding my new granddaughter, for the first time. Their cleanliness sucked, they were understaffed at the register (order lines consistently too long), and a very few employees were actually holding down the fort. Oh yeah, this was one of the first Schlotzsky's I saw that both caters and delivers. Much unlike Schlotzsky's in my hometown.

You pay over 8 bucks for a sandwich and up getting the wrong one.....NOT good especially when there is no one there. Pay attention and get it right. Then No receipt soooooo even more maddening. Very disappointed on the whole place. Were they customer friendly....yes now the pizza for the kids was good and made right so I will give them a thumbs up. My kids were happy and that makes me happy…

The food is delicious, but every time I go they get something about my order wrong. On every salad I have had their they have forgotten either my dressing or my garlic bread. When I ordered a french dip they forgot the dipping sauce. They may have given me all the right food one time, but even then they managed to forget to give me silverware for my to go salad. On today's trip they forgot the salad dressing for two salads and the crackers for my soup, which is only about half full. It's an impressively consistent streak of forgetfulness and my Schlotsky's experience here has been very disappointing.

I expected so much more of a "Giant" ALBUQUERQUE TURKEY than just a big stale bun. The drive through was empty so I opted to use it instead of going in. I was in a rush this time. Once I got home I was eager to get down on my "Giant" sammich! Cue the music, wah wah. I should've taken a picture of that giant dry stale bun with just a paltry sum of turkey. But I plated up the four quarters of bread and told my family I'm sorry instead.

I like the sandwiches made at this place but today when we got our food, it was a bit of a different story. While the taste was still good, the 1/2 sandwich my wife was given with her cup of soup was not made well. It had quite a bit less ingredients than either half of my sandwich had. The other disappointing thing about this branch is that they had no raspberry ice tea available. I'm not sure if it was not available because if covid-19 or if they just don't make it at this branch. It was still a nice lunch, just could have been better.

Well I usually have no complaints really when it comes to Schlotzskys except there not being one closer to my home. I must say though after the last 2 visits I was not impressed at all. The time before this last visit I had ordered 2 Veggie supreme pizza and added pepperoni (like I usually do). When I received the pizza I noticed an odd smell. I wasn't to concerned since I didn't add like hamburger or sausage to the pizzas so the smell clearly wasn't spoiled meat. After trying a piece I couldn't get past the lingering odd smell. My husband didn't notice but then again he hasn't had the ability to smell very well in a long time. I asked if his pizza tasted good. He said yes. Mine on the other hand just didn't taste right. In fear of getting food poisoning, I decided I wasn't going to continue eating the pizza. Maybe it was just me but I wasn't going to risk it. Well this last time I went I noticed it took a really long time to get my order. Same order again 2 veggie pizzas add pepperoni but this time I also ordered a small original sandwich just in case my pizza had that same odd smell and taste. Finally, get my order and head home. As I'm sitting in traffic I figure I'll go ahead and have me a slice. I open the box and that's what I see. Clearly they had forgotten to add the pepperoni and noticed their mistake right before handing me my pizza. Guess they threw some on there and tried to heat it real quick. Well, it didn't work. The pepperonis were not warm at all and clearly were not all the way cooked. My biggest issue is that again there's not a Schlotzskys close to my home and I usually wait till I get home to start eating my order. Also it's not like the prices are cheap. Don't 6 what's going on with this Schlotzskys but I have always enjoyed their food and didn't mind paying their high prices for GOOD food. Think I'll give it some time before returning. This doesn't mean I'll never go back😏 hopefully over time this problem with making pizzas like they used to will get corrected. And they will build one closer to my home

When ordering Pick Two, salad is served flat out on the paper tray liner. Not even in a bowl. Nasty. Made me feel like a dog eating off the floor. Had to go get a To Go container off the shelf and put the salad & dressing in it. Pickles must be very expensive. Not served with the meal anymore. Had to pick it up off the To Go track that's been sitting out all day. Half of them looked old.

Walk into a restaurant and it smells like old sweat from a gym. Then the floors look filthy and dirty and looks like that reuse the water to mop the floor. Drip spots has not been cleaned up. Food on the floor , tables are not cleaned, the only have one employee doing her best to try to clean, mop and take the trash out while you have three managers cannot participate to help out an employee. Orders are being done wrong or not added on. Manager does not know what the meaning of proper clothing is showing off her thong. While she's serving people their food. Last but not least improper mopping using Clorox on the floor while mopping must check on MSDS if they are allowed to use that. People can get sick off of Clorox fumes.

It is Saturday at 2pm and this restaurant is a wreck. Packed with people and apparently no management. It appears that the new standard of meat on a sandwich is two thin slices. Not worth the money. Wet floor no ice. Good job people, especially if you want 15 an hour.

Sometimes this place is amazing how other times you can’t even recognize a sandwich for example if you order a French dip sometimes it comes absolutely delicious with all the fixings meaning sautéed onions but most the time when you order it you’ll get a ham sandwich with cheese with a side of French dip sauce why is it that can’t make it the same way every time I don’t understand?

Only thing was that I ordered DoorDash, and forgot my cinnamon roll…

Quality ingredients are great, its the order taboo I'm having an issue with. Not very consistent. I ordered the Rib Dipskey three days, the first time they got it right, the second time they forgot the dipping sauce, the third time I asked for it to be medium, and they gave me small. If it weren't for the tasty ingredients, I probably would stop coming to this location. Its hit or miss! Be forewarned.

They must have had their B team working this evening. My husband ordered our food to go and they brought it out on plates so we reminded them it was for to go. Well they had us wrap our own sandwhiches. Yeah.. Not that we're not capable. But just not typical good service. When we got home and tasted the food it wasn't very good.

I asked for a Delux Original cut in four. When i was getting my sandwich out of the bag it fell apart l. Evidently it wasn't wrapped completely. I went inside informed manager. She apologized. Stated it would be remade. I had my son in the car waiting. I cherish meals together. She brought me another sandwich. After she walked away. I took my sandwich out. It was double wrapped. I took a bite and it had the one ingredient i repeatedly told them i did not want.."onions!" I was upset. Went thru drive they this time and she apologized yet again. I missed eating with my son, i was hungry, but too upset to eat. The correct account was not reimbursed. So. Upset. Did i neglect to mental how rude the girl whom took my order from the beginning was...

More times than not the order is wrong or something is forgotten. Multiple times now my husband and I have gone in and seen some pretty appalling things happen. The staff can be very rude. Just to give a couple examples they've laughed and made fun of my husbands name (it's a pretty common name which makes no sense) and have had a giggle fest over a deaf woman struggling to order food. Rude awful people get some new more respectful staff.

Rudest two girls working the front ordering our food. One said she was tired of being nice to "these people". Maybe they should not work in the sandwich making area.

Very iffy, used to be really quality with portion sizes, now tends to be half of what is paid for.

I sat at the register foe 6 or 7 minutes waved my arms and eventually had to walk towards the kitchen where some employees were talking and ask for help. The person was the assistant manager who unapologetically took my order with no smile. Terrible customer service, used to be my favorite but I won't be back. You can see by the photo it was not busy.

First time at this location, posting as I’ve been waiting 24 minutes for my food. I understand if you’re busy but that’s a long time and I’ve now watched 3 people who came after get their food and leave and I’m just waiting for a sandwich.. You go to fast food for the quickness of it and now I’m late for work. Won’t be returning as I see in the reviews this is common here.

No one at front counter, took his time to get to me. I asked a question about Gluten Free buns. On the way back server stopped to chat with with someone that was behind the counter (delivery driver?) . I ordered two sandwiches and a salad. SO GUESS WHAT, I get home "5 mile drive" NO SALAD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! VERY POOR SERVICE

Order wrong for the dozenth time, I'm just done. This has been consistent behavior since 2013 when I moved here. It's always a 50/50 chance of getting what you ordered. Usually they just forget to take the onions off, this has been twice in a row they've given me the complete wrong sandwich. I can't eat ham, I ask for cheese! The words sound nothing alike! Cheese original! How do you get ham from that?

this is in regards to the lackluster services from Justin. “huh” when I was ordering/talking. Clearly he was sick the day manners and customer service was being taught. Terrible! 🤦

Their management is so poor they can't properly staff a restaurant. Placed an order on their app, said it would be ready at 7:15 pm. I arrive at 7:25 pm and the food isn't ready. Their lobby is closed and I'm told I have to sit in a drive thru line that's 20 minutes long to then wait for my food. I've been coming here for 7 years at least once a week and this poor service has continued for the last year. Don't show up in the evening. You'll wait forever for food that won't be fixed right.

my entire order was wrong and my pizza was burned and inedible

Terrible and overpriced. They completely messed up my entire order. Not one, but two sandwiches and forgot to give us our sides. Got home to unwrap a "sandwich" which was just a piece of turkey between two slices of dry bread. I even paid extra to add toppings! But they did offer to replace my sandwich if I went out of my way to drive back in the pouring rain so that was a nice consolation. Brush up on your sandwich making skills, my toddler could do better.

Was sorry service. Placed our order and was told to park in slot #2 which we did. Waited 20-25 minutes no food 7 other people got their orders that ordered after we did. Ask girl bring out the orders and she said she would check on it didn't hear back. Finally after she served 2 more customers i ask for manager. Manager finally came out said kitchen was behind i ask how come others got their food she just kept saying kitchen was behind. Gave me a bag but was not what we ordered. Will never go back......

Went in to order cinnabons and apparently they were all hard. Went back and ask for a fresh batch and the gentleman asked if I wanted to warm it up instead. Ummm, okay I'll try it... wrong it was stale... just horrible.. we also ordered a two cob salads that took 35 minutes to come out... Poor customer service.... food is atrocious! Go home and just make yourself something simple it will save you more time.NOT WORTH THE TRIP

30 minutes in a drive-through that you cannot leave to find that you've been handed cold food and the wrong drink, a most excellent service. Next time please move the customer to whom you've given incorrect food into a parking spot and bring them their order when you've correctly placed it.

The service is slow! I still haven’t paid and I’m watching the cashier ignore me and talk to one of her friends …. Lol it’s always slow when I come to this one, and that’s not a lot, but every time it’s new ppl so obviously nothing is changing except for the person ignoring me. Ok it’s been 7 mins and one of the Cooks! just got my card and made me pull into a parking spot ! For one thing !! … wow obviously over worked and not enough structure!

I was so disappointed with my experience at schlotzskys today. I purchased the sliders, and paid over $6 for what you see in the picture. The meat in the middle was cold, and it was nowhere near enough food for what I paid (it was in a tiny to go box). Usually schlotzskys is really good, especially their sandwiches. They definitely need to rethink their sliders before continuing to sell them, they are a huge ripoff.

Twice I have come here and twice I have received horrible service and food as well. I have told the same cashier the two times I’ve come of my severe onion and tomato allergy and asked that the items I order not have any of those. Both times I discovered to my dismay both of them. In fact, this most recent time I’ve come I was with my grandmother. We just came in to have a nice meal and conversation instead we are served by a snotty woman who believes it’s acceptable to drag the tables and chairs across the floor to sweep. When we asked politely to “Please pick them up.”, we were welcomed with a snotty face and an even more of the racket. Then she decides it’s appropriate to sit down and openly mock my grandmother with her family or friends while still being on the job. After about 20 minutes of waiting we finally get our food where, you guessed it, my food was served with a side portion of the items I asked to not come with because I have an allergy. I take my food to the counter and wait for another 20 minutes to receive my food from the woman who was being rude earlier. Overall, the experience here was quite dreadful and do not recommend it whatsoever.

I have been eating at Schlotzsky's ever since they first started in Austin in the 70's. They used to be such a friendly local spot that offered fresh sandwiches at affordable prices, but it has gone downhill ever since they started franchising! The quality of the food in my opinion is much lower nowadays while the prices have gotten outrageous and the customer service is awful! The only real bargain they offer now is the weekend pizza deal, which I have tried at several locations in Central Texas over the last few months. I stopped at this location recently to get their Meaty pizza (which comes with bacon, pepperoni, and sausage). I told the employee that I didn't want bacon, so I asked if they could simply make up the difference by adding extra pepperoni (which didn't seem like an unreasonable request since I am paying for three meats on the pizza). She and another employee started telling me they could not possibly do that and the owner doesn't allow that kind of substitution! I was very surprised because it is not only allowed at all the other locations I have visited, but several have offered to put extra pepperoni or sausage without me even asking when I told them I didn't want bacon. I also noticed the regular menu items were substantially more expensive at this location than other locations I have visited. I wound up just leaving and going to the location in Georgetown while heading north on my trip. The location in Georgetown was much friendlier and didn't have a problem with the substitution, so do yourself a favor and skip this location if you are traveling through the Round Rock area.

I love this place but I was trying to make an order to go I’m not sure if anybody works there. I called multiple times to place an order to go and nobody picks up the phone. Call them for 10 minutes and no answer. I showed up to the restaurant and nobody is doing anything. Restaurant empty

Have always loved this place. But tonight it was horrible! Got it to go, got home and very little lettuce as you can see! Broccoli and chesse soup was gross! I think the Cinnabons were a couple of days old! Spent $67 bucks and it will not happen again!
