I recently had a wonderful evening out and couldn't be happier! The food and drinks were spot on, and the atmosphere was perfect for a festive celebration. Jess really stood out – her friendly vibe and great sense of humour made my night. The service was excellent, and you could tell the team genuinely cared about making our experience enjoyable. Can't wait to return!

We went for breakfast and everything was delicious. It was an amazing brunch with lemonades and coffee. Tia served us, and she was incredibly kind. Excellent place!

We booked the igloo to dine in and the festive set Menu. It’s the 4th year running my friends and I have done this. The food is great!!! Super great value and today's server Andrea was great! Very attentive and friendly.

Great place with nice staff and very well cooked food. Our sever was Hope and we had an excellent experience, will be back again when in the area. Also quite novel dessert options which were well received and The Potting Sheds and Pods offer a nice dining experience for those that want a bit of quiet away from the hustle and bustle. Very much worth it.

I went with my family for a three way birthday party on 17th of January and it was a perfect day. Hollie and the team were fantastic. They were flexible about mixed arrival times, quick with serving our orders and so sweet about the birthday cakes. Bills food is delicious and I would absolutely recommend it as a date spot or girl's brunch. It has a very cool vibe about it. But the service took it over the edge to being a fantastic spot. I highly recommend it.

The best takeaway service. They vegan burger is exquisite. Their hollumi burger is also tasty. Their staff is the sweetest. So kind so gently... every delivery has a personalized thank you card. Their price is above average but with the right discount it's well spent it by their quality. I wish they could have more vegan options in the future. Or at least vegetarian pasta with vegan bacon. I root for this restaurant to grow and I wish the best for their sweet employees. Thank you

We love our weekend visit to Bills Rushden lakes. The food is consistently good with plenty of choice and fast and efficient service. The thing that makes it even more enjoyable is the amazing staff who are always so friendly and accommodating. Special thanks this week to Sam for looking after us so well

Had a really good burger and french fries at Bill's. They had a special 2 course offer so indulged in a Berry Eton Mess. The meal was excellent and great value, service was great and very friendly staff. We were eating early so the restaurant was quiet. Would definitely go again.

Service from.Marion was superb, three of us for lunch and we were all over the place ordering as the menu is so good, and she was so friendly and patient..... Settled on The bills burger, eggs Benedict and some.halloumi and fries. All awesome but the Burger... Wow!!! Always great here... Awesome view of the lake too.

I had a lovely birthday celebration recently, and it was great to find a place with a proper gluten-free menu for my mum. The staff were super helpful and polite, which really made our experience special—shoutout to Niamh for being exceptional! The food was top-notch, just what we wanted for a festive treat. We felt confident ordering, knowing everything was clearly labelled and safe for mum. We left really happy and will definitely be back!

We dropped in for dinner after collecting some Christmas bits near by. So was a random drop in. Served by Shani who was absolutely lovely, constant smile and great with my son. Food was great although the Christmas burger was a little disappointing, by no fault of the chefs I may add, just think it was a bit of a boring designed dish. Overall lovely place and will be back soon 😊 thanks Shani!

Absolutely fantastic! Took my parents for lunch for their anniversary. Always a bit of a scary experience when your mum has quite a particular pallet….but happy to say she loved it ❤️ amazing staff and amazing food! Thank you Bills, one of the best places to eat around!

1st time at Bill's at Rushden Lakes, and it won't be the last. Tasty food, nice selection of drinks and very friendly staff. I would have liked a few more plant based options but other than that, great.

As always we had a fantastic meal out at Bills, tonight we had our meal in one of the out side pods. Fantastic meal and the drinks kept coming, service was first class and Rosie and the team went the extra mile to make sure we had a great meal out. Thank you to all the staff for making the night entertaining and a special thanks to Rosie for her first class service, for entertaining us with her Christmas Singing and for making the evening so special 🤗

Pancakes were huge, loved them though. Plenty of food and seating to choose from. The staff walk incredibly fast, not sure if that is a bonus or not but did feel like I needed to chase them to our table. Made me laugh more than anything. There was a situation in the restaurant at the time and I think the staff handled it really well, whereas a few customers were being super grumpy about it. Either way, the staff were great and the food was delicious.

Sam was our server she was lovely very accommodating with allergies, the desserts were lovely compliments to the chef - overall very happy with this valentines experience

Excellent !! Good food. Great price. Excellent service. Staff bubbly and friendly. We dined in a potting shed and were surprised at how warm it was. Will definitely return.

Love this place for a chain. On a sunny day you can sit outside by the lake so that adds to the experience. Pancakes are delicious. Portions generous too.

We had such a fantastic experience at Bill's Restaurant and Bar! After a long day, the food was exactly what we needed. The three of us were completely satisfied with our meal, and it was a pleasure to talk to the chef about the dishes. The location near the lake was also a beautiful bonus. We'll definitely be back!

The perfect place for a delicious breakfast with a view. Would definitely recommend getting under a cosy blanket on the terrace to finish your coffee too. Our pup loved his food too!

I ordered the beef brisket burger with burger loaded fries and it was so nice. The menu is limited in terms of the mains, personally would add more seafood options but, the portions and food was amazing nonetheless! I also did have the £5 bottomless pancakes earlier in the week and I must say the BEST pancakes I have ever had. Bills are not stingy on portion size I tell you.

We have visited on numerous occasions, restaurant has a great setting on the lake, with options to sit in or outside. We ordered the chicken shawarma (pictured), a chicken Caesar salad and sweet potato fries, and tuna steak, all the food is always good. The staff are friendly however service is slow every time we visit, despite a good number of staff. Also recommend the pomegranate and raspberry lemonade.

Visited on Friday 22nd and planned to eat here , but after seeing how dirty it was we went elsewhere. Ordered drinks at the bar, and the stools were filthy and disgusting (see photo), the floors had debris all over and they had no straws for my wife`s cocktail!!! We went to sit outside on a booth and it was dirty and the floor had not been cleaned. Looked at the menu, and it was overpriced. If it is dirty where we can see, what is it like out the back in the kitchen area!! This supposed to be the most booked restaurant in Northants!! The money you take, you should be investing in deep cleaning and ensuring the bar area and floors are clean. You need to look at your management structure and how you ensure a cleaning routine and inspection is in place. Overpriced cocktails which dont taste like how described. Never will we return!! **RE-EDIT Returned on Friday 14th November after being invited back by a lovely lady called Saskia. We were seated and looked after so nicely and professionally by a lovely lady called Marion (big shout out to her and a credit to Bill`s). Restaurant was clean, warm and nicely decrorated for Christmas. My wife opted for the Pancakes with Bisocoff crumb, apparently on Fridays it is bottomless pancakes, so really great deal, but my wife said how delicious they were, but so filling. I had the Bills Big brunch, which was so tasty and filling, and the sausages were lovely quality. We were that full we couldnt manage a dessert, but had a coffee and a tea, and i must say the coffee was super good, as i am fussy about my coffee, but really nice. The service was brilliant and based on this visit we will be returning as they have a wide choice of Menu and many other dishes i would like to try.

We really enjoyed our time at Bill’s today. The food was great and the service was outstanding. Niamh went above and beyond to afford us a truly enjoyable experience. Thank you all so much… we will definitely return.

An early week date night and we thought we hadn’t tried Bills so gave it a try. A friendly greeting upon entry and showed straight to our table. It wasn’t busy but it was a Tuesday in January so…. We ordered and the food arrived quickly. Intrinsically there was nothing wrong with the food, it was just nothing special. The Calamari was ok, the halloumi sticks we probably the highlight but the burger and chicken fajitas were pretty flat taste wise. Probably wouldn’t go back simply because there are so many other places to try.

Booked a potting shed, was left waiting for drinks for 45 minutes, starters arrived before the drinks. When asked where the drinks were, an ice bucket was brought and then still no drinks. Decided to write off the experience and booked to eat dinner elsewhere. One of the managers Max spoke to us. Despite his young age, he was a confident manager who understood and agreed with our frustration, he was deeply apologetic and persuaded us to stay and try the mains as we were very much looking forward to them. He remained attentive for the rest of the evening, took on board our feedback and constructive criticism. He made the evening for us with his friendly, positive and caring customer service attitude.

Had breakfast here, service was a little slow, but it was extremely busy, so no complaints. Food was very good, and the best latte coffee I've had. Great spot to eat, but would definitely advise booking 1st.

We ate in one of the little snow globes. The idea is great but the door needs improving for the poor members of staff who have to keep opening and closing it throughout the day. The food was lovely and our waitress, Amy, was fantastic. Recommended

The food was good and atmosphere very nice. We were served by Niamh who was very nice and friendly. She Made the visit feel more wholesome so appreciated it. Good restaurant to visit.

Went for breakfast on Saturday 13th December. My booking had been lost but they could accommodate us. We were a party of 7, so very grateful they found us a table. Staff are lovely particularly nan on the door. Tea pots are amazing, lots of cups. Only sad part was the food was cold, tasty but such a shame. One person had to wait while other meals came and when it did arrive it was also cold. Not sure what the problem was. There was also a noise from air vents above us, not sure how that can be fixed

Nice food. Pricey for what you get. Service was incredibly slow! Waited over 40mins for our first lot of food. Wouldn't go back in a hurry.

Food was okay , service was poor I couldn’t tell you who served us as we weren’t paid much attention to and were served by a variety of different people. The bathroom as awful but the restaurant itself looked nice and seemed to have a good atmosphere. I would potentially try during off peak times for better service and a clean bathroom but I can say I was pretty disappointed.

Visiting from USA was excited to try Bills. Outside looked nice and inside didn’t disappoint. We were excited to try the outdoor dining sheds however was informed due to sending staff home they didn’t have the ability to seat out there anymore?! Anyways, we had a lake view table which was nice but that’s about it. Service was slow and very disappointing, many diff servers and not checked on or more drinks ect, and had to flag down a busser in order to pay. The food was below average. Bacon not cooked, hardly any beans, toast hard as a brick with a slab of unmelted butter. Overall bills did not live up to our expectations. Below average

Review update September 2024. This restaurant is now cashless. I do not support cashless establishments in today's society. Service was slow. No seating allowed outside until 10am due to staff shortages apparently. The food was very dry with over cooked chicken. Sauces are sparse and I had to ask twice for some. I feel the evening menu prices arnt worth it after the latest menu change. Very dirty outside chair cushions. Rubbish around the back of the restaurant. The menu is different from breakfast to lunch and evening. All of the menus can be seen clearly online. Lots of seating areas both inside and outside, but can get busy especially in the summer so online booking is advised.. They currently have outdoor seating pods for winter outdoor dining. Saying that most of the outdoor area is still covered. You can sit outside with your dog if the dog is well behaved.. The doughnut dessert with chocolate sauce is delicious.. My only negative would be that the cocktails arnt worth the money.

Review of Bill’s Rushden Lakes That was the Bill’s, but honestly, I wouldn’t recommend going there. The English breakfast was a huge let-down – the mushrooms were anything but fresh, dried out and unpleasant, and the rest of the plate wasn’t much better. For a place that charges extra, I expected at least a decent breakfast. To make it worse, they automatically added a 12.5% service charge, so instead of £14.50, I paid £16.31 for what I can honestly say was the worst breakfast I’ve ever had. Poor quality, overpriced, and disappointing. Definitely not worth it.

The service was not great, I have an allergy of mushrooms and they said because it’s not in the top 5 allergy’s they could not treat it like one in the kitchen!. I then got food poisoning!! from their food and the atmosphere was very cramped. Tables were way too close together. And the prices are way too high for what they serve you. I would NEVER return.

We went yesterday for lunch, 22.12.2025 waited what weekend like an age to be seated even though staff were free and lots tables free at that time. Kept getting ignored by staff. Ordered and the waiter went and came back had to confirm our order 4 times (would have been easier to have a pen and paper to hand) Ordered prawn starter and the tomato’s were off tasted horrendously old. Asked them to take it back. Water Cups had stains and dust on them. Kept further getting ignored . Staff looked rushed whilst manager sat there chilling. Awful vibes at this place and awful food. Really disappointed we made choice to go here when there was much more variety at the retail park. Also so rude to add service charge on shocking service.

Bills was ok, but recently gone down hill. Terrible service and food today. Pre booked, then we had to wait. Ordered a breakfast and they forgot items on the breakfast. Service was terrible throughout, didn’t ask if food was ok, need to chase to get the bill. Told them at the end and asked for service charge to be removed, they confirmed and then charged me anyway. Manager no where to be seen. That’s the last time, not going back.

I always book here for any special occasion Mother’s Day, Wife’s Birthday and Valentines Day and our Wedding Anniversary for the past years they always managed to put us in the Igloo outside to feel special even if we did not book it. However today’s Valentine’s Day 2026 is the opposite they said it’s fully booked but I have observed the duration of our stay there all three of the Igloo is empty. I am so disappointed and gutted. From now I’m not expecting good from Bills Rushden Lakes!

We’ve always been fans of Bill’s because of the food and the great service we’ve received at other locations. Unfortunately, our recent visit to the Rushden Lakes branch was massively disappointing. The service was very poor. Staff were standing in the corner while we waited nearly an hour just to place our order. We then had to wait again just to ask for cutlery. At no point did we feel looked after or valued as customers. It’s frustrating because this experience was completely different from what we’ve come to expect from Bill’s. We hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving the service at this branch
