I really liked their pressed Cuban sandwich! I'm a salad person & I came specifically to get their Ybor salad w/the creamy dressing. The garbanzo bean soup is great made w/sausage & potatoes. It's a bit hot spicy but I like it! The olive butter (which I've never tried before today) was Great!! You probably need to like green olives though which I do. The staff was very welcoming & service was outstanding! They've had some hurricane damage to their sign outside but Google maps was spot on with directions there. I will go back over & over again! I do recommend!

I ordered the chicken empanadas, potato balls, picadillo, garlic mashed and fried yucca. I am a huge fried yucca fan and this is THEE BEST FRIED YUCCA I HAVE EVER HAD and I have had A LOT of fried yucca lol. I ordered again tonight. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. I try new restaurants every Monday and Tuesday on my days off and very rarely do I double order from the same place back to back on those days. Super close to my house too! Both orders have been via Grubhub and if it is this good by delivery I can only imagine how good it is fresh from the kitchen to my table. Will check them out in person soon! Also, everything was made correctly and nothing not even a sauce etc was missing which rarely happens. EXCELLENT JOB YBOR GRILLE AND STAFF!!

We were seated immediately and are.Our server was very attentive in taking our order and getting our drinks. I ordered their steak sandwich and it was excellent. I would return without hesitation. It appears that food delivered is an option so that's great news as well!

Authentic Cuban cuisine in a bright, friendly atmosphere. Courteous wait staff. Generous portions. Known for their Cuban sandwiches, black bean soup & sides, yellow rice made with saffron, and homemade flan for dessert.

I have very specific food allergies and CeeCee was extremely knowledgeable. The food is excellent and reasonable. Two of us ate for under $50 and included one alcoholic beverage in that amount. The hand painted murals on the walls are beautiful.

Love this unique Cuban restaurant, not quite traditional but I love the ybor flares that Americanize this establishment, definitely unique! Will come back again when I’m back in town & love feeling like I’m right at home eating comfort foods elevated with touches like their chimichurri & their house olive butter. Ybor and Cuban ambiance partnered with the menu and outstanding service staff & our waitress, Corey, really makes this experience a complete package.

Love this place and it's DOG FRIENDLY! Yep, you read that correct - they have about 8 tables on a screen patio with ceiling fans that you can bring your pups with you and enjoy a great meal. Our server, Niki - was wonderful. She loves dogs, provided us great service and has a very friendly, outgoing vibe. Enjoyed the pork sandwich, potato balls, salad and more. If you have a dog, check them out.

We’ve been dining at Ybor Grille for over 10 years, and it continues to be one of our favorite spots. On our most recent visit, the highlight was our hostess, Libby. She is the perfect example of professionalism and hospitality. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and constantly on the move. She never sat still, always stepping in to support the servers whenever she noticed they could use an extra hand. She truly represents the restaurant with pride and care. We also appreciate the restaurant’s updated décor. It feels refreshed but still true to its roots. Our hope is that the new owners will continue to honor the classics that make Ybor Grille special, especially the deviled crabs and the Ybor salad. These staples are a big part of why we keep coming back, and why so many loyal customers feel at home here. We will absolutely continue to patronize Ybor Grille and look forward to many more years of great food, great service, and wonderful people like Libby. We sincerely hope the new owners value their repeat customers as much as we value this restaurant.

The food and service are very good. However, the overhead lighting is WAY TOO BRIGHT! How about providing some nice low-light atmosphere? Then those nice table lamps would do what they’re supposed to.

Was excited for this place but the drinks were ridiculously over priced. The Cuban entrees were pretty good. The Cuban sandwich was definitely not a Cuban sandwich. Spent $120 for two adults and a child for lunch, crazy. Glad we gave it a shot not coming back.

Our first time here, my husband and I wanted to try the Cuban foods. The hostess was nice and told us about their special. Said the Margaritas were on special for $7.99 as well as the food specials. I ordered the devil crab, Cuban sandwich and the cabbage with bacon. My husband had the Pork sandwich. He also ordered a Strawberry Margaritas, I ordered a diet coke. Out waitress was polite, but seemed like she was always in a rush. She brought out my drink, my husbands wasn't quite ready. She brought me an ice tea, I ordered a diet coke. I polite told her and she got me the right drink. Food came out quickly. The devil crab, neither of us liked. So we didn't eat that. His pork sandwich he said was very good, as was his Margaritas. He ordered another since they were on special. My Cuban sandwich was very good as well. The cabbage was over cooked, was mushy. And all the food was lukewarm. I guess Cubans may eat their food lukewarm. The bill was much higher then we expected. The margaritas were priced much higher than what we were told. When I ask about it and my husband told her what the hostess said $7.99. No!! She said he must have heard wrong. I said then we both must have, because that is what she said. No matter, very clearly wasn't their mistake. We politely paid our bill, thank them. We will never go back.

"Arroz con pollo" is just yellow rice with a dry piece of chicken on the side?? Their "guava cheescake" is a regular cheesecake with guava drizzle over it. Questionable soups. The good tastes good but be careful ordering pickup or delivery since meals are advertised wrong and you'll end up missing out on food you are expecting. I ordered rhe Shrimp Al Ajillo and online it says it comes with rice and tou get 2 sides but one of the sides is supposed to be the rice. When I called about it they explained that I was supposed to order the rice as one of the sides even though it was advertised with rice and that they would not offer any rice so basically I was told to kick rocks and do better next time even though I ordered rhe food as explained online.

Once again I gave Ybor Grill another try and, once again I was very disappointed. The first couple of times I came here the food was outstanding. However, since those first few visits the food is continuously served at room temperature. I don’t understand why Ybor Grill does this. I ordered a deviled crab. The outside was super hard like it had been reheated and the inside of the deviled crab was room temperature. I also had the black beans and yellow rice. Same problem. I had a few bites of the rice and beans and a piece of the crab and it was really inedible bc it was room temperature. I brought it home hoping that it will be better after heating it up. After coming to this restaurant for 2.5 years and routinely being served cold food, I do not recommend this restaurant and I am done with ever going there again.

I had the grouper, garlic mashed potatoes. Key lime pie. The grouper tasted fishy. I love grouper and cook it alot and eat it out. Never tasted like this. Garlic mashed potatoes had no garlic taste. All of the food was no where near even warm. Waitress never asked if I wanted more ice tea. I had to ask and when it was brought it was sweet tea and I had been drinking unsweetened. Not a good experience. I would not recommend. Food not warm and coming out so fast means it's all pre cooked and supposed to be heated up. Fish tastes fishy when it's not fresh.
