Bober Tea is a Sacramento staple, and this particular shop is located in the heart of Midtown, making it a convenient stop for anyone looking for something to quench their thirst. Walking into Bober Tea the first thing that will catch your eye is their all-pink interior and aesthetic, which I'm sure will appeal to some (even I have to admit it's definitely a cute spot for pictures). You can order your drinks via their kiosk or with their cashiers. I personally appreciate any and all business that use kiosk-based ordering since it gives me opportunity to browse through the different drink options with pictures to aid in the decision process. I'll note that there isn't any interior seating at this location, so plan to grab your drink and take a stroll around Midtown. As a forever fan of fruit teas, I decided to go with their supreme strawberry green tea. Overall, I enjoyed my drink as I was able to clearly taste the tea and it wasn't masked by the taste of too much sugar or any artificial flavors. The drink also featured strawberry pieces throughout, which was a nice tough. I actually thought there were almost too many strawberry pieces, which for me detracted from the drinking experience and almost made it feel like I was drinking a slushy-type of drink. Though, to be fair, I'm sure this would be someone else's cup of tea, so it probably comes down to personal preference on this point. If you're into aesthetic tea shops with high-quality drinks, then Bober Tea is the place for you!

Pretty good boba place located right in downtown. Drink it self it pretty nice as well. Inside there is pretty cool wall with swing to take photos.

Very good boba! On the sweeter side but at least it has lots of flavor and perfectly chewy. The milk tea itself was perfect at 50% sweetness. Their brown sugar Oreo milk tea was the best! The Mochi donut was excellent too! Super cute interior!

Great tea place. The decor reminds me a lot of Museum of Ice Cream, definitely very Instagram-able. Their Strawberry Chizu Green Tea contain real bits of strawberries and cream. The Thai Tea Latte is a creamier version of regular Thai tea you'd get at a Thai restaurant. Both drinks' sweetness cannot be adjusted, so if you like to order your tea 50% sweet (so you can drink 2 cups and feel guilt free), then this one may be a bit too sweet for you. But the flavors are really good. Their selections of mochi doughnut are all very good. If you are used to regular doughnut, definitely give mochi doughnut a try. They have chewy texture and really add to the whole experience.

Perfect perfect perfect!! Their fried boba is to DIE for!! Literally exactly what I am looking for when I try boba in new places! Highly recommend as a boba drinker!

The second time I went, my jasmine milk tea was perfect but the boba was hard and not very good. My friend’s oolong did not taste like oolong. So overall, seems like it’s either a hit or a miss.

Bober was conveniently located next to Saigon Alley Kitchen & Bar. After dinner we went next door to grab a boba. We got the Chizu Mango Green Tea. It came out pretty fast! Wish there were more seating. We just had to take our boba to go instead of chilling in there for a while.

I got the matcha brown sugar boba and it's pretty good. They don't necessarily have everything you might find at, say, T4 - it's more like they have their drinks, like the brown sugar series and chizu series. I wish there was easier parking, but it's downtown, I suppose.

Cute little place with swings and a pretty floral backdrop. The drinks were pretty standard. They DON’T accept cash so bring your debit/credit card. Also if you give them a Yelp review they give you a free straw, but I don’t care for Yelp. Asked them if I can give them a google review instead but she said no. Oh well, it’s only a straw. Overall the customer service was nice. Parking was a pain. I got 2 small drinks and a donut for around $20.

There's no parking, and limited spaces around that are paid meters. It's has okay boba and you can add toppings to drinks. It does cost slightly more than average boba. However, the price is not worth it honestly. Cuz the taste is not great. If it treated well this review would be a different story. Mango was favorite😋

Average boba. The inside is uncomfortably warm for some reason and they have no seating. The instagram decor is worn and dirty.

This bober location is not great. Hot and humid inside no a/c. The drinks itself does not taste good at all and poorly made. Barely any ice in the drinks. The location on Calvin elk grove is always on point making the drinks exactly how it is advertise, but dang... why does every location have A/C issues! I would skip this location cause every time I try it while shopping it always taste like an off brand bober drink.. bad and doesn't look right at all.

Did 0% Chizu Black Tea, baristas made a mistake without chizu, after fixing it, the cheese was just sprinkled on, they were cheap with the cheese, drinks came out bland, only probably 5% of the normal cheese amount. Normally love bober tea as we’re from the bay, bober tea is also usually very viet owned but tastes here were sort of off. One top of that bathroom was employees only, uncommon unlike other locations (my grandma desperately needed to use the restroom). Also gave off mean girl vibes. Baristas also said sorry quite passive aggressively among me just politely telling them their mistake, when the tea came back it seems it was diluted, now at dark as it came out, tea was diluted as well, and again with just a minimal amount of cheese. 3/10/24

Drink taste normal but the worst customer service I ever experienced. Girl in the front yelling and screaming. Walked in there, felt like in a gym club. When I ordered they don’t even ask what size I would like, just went ahead and ordered me the large size. The other location have way better customer service. DO NOT recommended and will not come back here again.

After trying to water it down, it still wasn’t getting any better so i went back, drink barley being consumed, and i asked if i could get a refund or a different drink. I was refused both when they said, « we don’t do refunds or replacements ». I was not told this in the beginning . I do not recommend this place, there are many other great boba places downtown such as tea4you and others I would try out before considering this one.
