Really great tasting fresh food and large portions and small too for those not wanting too much food. Perfect levels of spice on each request asked for. My friend also says they are the best Indian cuisine they’ve ever had hands down. Cashier/owner were extremely helpful and accommodating!! Thanks for the fantastic dinner.
During our 3 days trip to CA, stumbled upon this gem, ordered Cholay Bhature for lunch and it was simply the best Cholay Bhature we had in US, have tried almost all restaurant in NJ area, but the taste of the Cholay can’t be beaten anywhere nearby, simply the best everything was just spot on. We liked it so much, so we went another day to try something else, ended up with Dal Makhani and Naan/Roti for lunch, this dish was also exceptionally made well more on the yellow side than the traditional red/black shade. The Chef made the food just perfect to tingle your taste bud with wide variety of spices, without making it too hot/spicy. Overall, I am happy that we found this hidden gem, and tried it, If I live in the area, I would have tried every dish from this awesome kitchen. The dining room is comfortable and very clean. I enjoyed my meals very much!
Loved it! As spicy as you wanna be. Chicken was amazing as was the chicken peas. Samosas were particularly yummy. Will be back!
Best Saag paneer and samosas in town. My new favorite Indian restaurant. Everything I had quite a kick so careful if you don’t like spicy…. I thot it was spiced perfectly. Need to go back and try other dishes… Nice outdoor seating too.
This place is SO good!!! Came her with my boyfriend after the movies. Service was GREAT 🤗 So kind, attentive, and helpful. Restaurant was super clean and open. Food was very clean, authentic, and delicious 🤤 We had lamb tikki masala, malai kofta, chicken pakora and naan. All were wonderful, the lamb surprised me the most, I’ve never had lamb that was so tender and flavorful. Give them a try, it is worth it 😁
The owner is super friendly and takes pride in the food they serve. He speaks lovingly of his father cooking. All of our food had a real made-at-home kind of feel. The flavors were so distinct and worth every bit of the pride he had when discussing it. Do yourself a favor and get dessert too. The portions are on the large side of perfect, so plan to sit and relax a bit if you are going out shopping.
Today, my father and I were first time visitors to Chaat Bistro. We absolutely loved the food which was seasoned beautifully with delicious flavors! Bindu was so knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly during our visit. With her help, I decided to order the mango lamb curry and dad ordered the Malai Paneer. We were impressed with Bindu’s recommendations! Jass was also a delight in service. With his recommendation, we tried the Kheer for dessert. It was sweet, light and tasty! All in all, the atmosphere is very welcoming, the food is colorful and flavorful, and the space is clean and neat. Shout out to Bindu and Jass for providing great hospitality and quality food during our first visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!
I love having Indian food in the neighborhood! The quality of food was amazing, the ingredients were healthy, the service was fast, and the atmosphere was super clean. I got the chicken wrap and it was delicious! The only critique I have was the outside of my wrap had sauce on it which made it a little messy but everything else was so good I really have no complaints 🤭 food 9/10 experience 10/10🥰 will definitely come back.
I am still unsure if I really really like Indian food, but I am very sure that Chaat Bistro is my favorite local spot to get Indian food. This place's naan is the best I have ever had, I dream of it 🤤 I get the paneer tikka masala and the medium spice level, flavor, and freshness are SO GOOD! Furthermore the service is quick and professional. Looking forward to my next visit!
I recently visited Chaat Bistro and ordered the Chicken Tikka—it was absolutely perfect! The chicken was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection with just the right amount of spices. The naan was fresh and warm, and everything paired beautifully. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. If you’re craving authentic Indian food, Chaat Bistro is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!
Vivid the cashier is very beautiful, friendly and kind and is very knowledgeable about the unique dishes they serve
We have been coming to this place for a few months now. I can say I have tried a lot of options. Lest start out with the service. It is counter service so fast casual. You order from a counter and they bring your food out to you. But more upscale than a chipotle kinda place. The staff is always super amazing and helpful. Weather you have an allergy, dietary restriction, or a question they are great. The food is always amazing. The consistency is key. I've never ever had a bad meal here. Like it's crazy how tasty and fresh the food is. The garlic Naan is great too!!
Chicken had lots of flavor and juicy. Everything is cooked fresh, so expect a little wait and be patient. Definitely worth trying and I can't believe i missed the massage fries. Going to give that a try next time.
Exceptional service coupled with an exquisite menu truly set this Indian restaurant apart. The staff's genuine passion for Indian cuisine was reflected in their attention to detail and helpfulness throughout the meal. The array of flavors, from the rich paneer tikka to the aromatic lentil curry, left a lasting impression. The inviting ambiance, adorned with traditional Indian artwork and soothing lighting, made the evening even more enjoyable. A perfect place to unwind and savor the authentic tastes of India in a welcoming environment.
We almost didn't go here because of the location. Delta Shores seems like an unlikely place to find one of the best tasting meals of my life, but it was. Everything was made to order and so full of flavor. They have chaat items on the menu that can be harder to find and are well worth headed to the local mega-strip mall. The service was excellent and you can tell that they care about the food they are serving. Highly recommend.
Chaat Bistro has the best Indian food I've personally ever had. Every bite left my mouth watering for more! The spices were perfect in both dishes I had. The Papri Chaat was so light and crisp with fresh herbs and yogurt sauce. It was the perfect start to my meal. The lamb in the Lamb Curry was so tender, it practically melted as I ate it. The curry had such an amazing aromatic kick with each bite. The portions are great for the price, too. This family owned business is so wholesome and wonderful. I can't wait to come back for more!
Came in here CRAVING some bomb Indian food and my expectations were met graciously! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Personally my favorites are the a chicken Tikka Masala and Chana Masala, both of which were, very good. The owner Rohan answered any questions I had and was happy to make some recommendations for next time including the Mango Curry, the Daal Makani and the Vindaloo. Can’t wait to come back soon!
I recently enjoyed a fantastic meal that included the Kadhai Chicken and Garlic Naan, both of which were exceptional. The Kadhai Chicken was bursting with rich, aromatic spices, and the Garlic Naan was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a delightful garlic flavor. For appetizers, we had the Mango Lassi and Golgappas. The Mango Lassi was refreshingly creamy and sweet, a perfect start to the meal. The Golgappas were a standout—crispy, flavorful, and filled with a burst of tangy and spicy water. This combination of dishes made for an unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommended!
Amazing Indian Food – Worth the Drive! We came here all the way from Manteca, and it was absolutely worth it. Everything was delicious, and the staff was incredibly nice and welcoming. The restaurant is very clean and well-kept. Great experience overall we’ll definitely be coming back!
Came for my mom’s bday on a Sunday night, great and quick service. And good food for a good price point.
The baingan bharta is so good! Really hit the spot after a long day at world. Unsure what the name of the dessert I got was, but it was also very good! Definitely will be back for more!
Im very picky with food but this place is absolutely incredible! The food was authentic and packed with rich, bold flavors that truly stood out. Every dish tasted homemade with real attention to detail. On top of that, the customer service was top notch and friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. You can tell they really care about their guests. Highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious food and a genuinely great dining experience!
Food and service are always exceptional. One of my favorite restaurants in this area
Excellent food, excellent service, and comfortable and clean dining room. Chaat Bistro gets my perfect five-star review. I ordered the Samosas Chaat, Lamb Curry, and Goat Biryani. Other than I wish the Samosas Chaat has a little more fresh spices. The Lamb Curry and Goat Biryani are perfect. The naan is also one of the best naan I have been tried. The two gentlemen who work there are very friendly. I had to wait a little bit at the cashier counter. But they let me know they were busy and back to me quickly. The dining room is comfortable and very clean. I enjoyed my meals very much! I will be back for sure soon!
What a great find !! The food is delicious, the menu is extensive, and the people are super friendly and made great suggestions on what I should get. I ❤️ Indian food having been raised in the Caribbean, which has a strong East Indian influence, and have come to appreciate the Indian food from different regions. The food here has so much flavor and the heat level on the "spicy" option was perfect - added a good kick, but never became overwhelming. Lots of vegetarian options as well. So good ! Will be back
Wonderful experience at this nice place. We just tried Fish Pakoras and Bhel Puri. Both were cooked to perfection and the spice levels were just perfect. Owners are very friendly and have kept the place very clean. Bathrooms smelled nice too. A must come back place. UPDATE: So we happened to be in the vicinity of Chat Bistro the very next day and we decided to have dinner there. This time we ordered Mango Fish Curry, Spicy Fish Curry along with Naan, Rice, Daal and some Vegetables. Everything was packed with flavors and yummy taste. Great service once again. The owner recognized us from yesterday and was very helpful in selecting our dishes. Highly recommend this place.
Had a wonderful Lunch today. We are just getting started to get into Indian Food since we went Vegan at the first of the year. I am Diabetic so I need High Protein/Low Carb diet. The black bean dish was so delicious... warning I ordered Mild and it was pretty darn hot. Thing is it was a purposeful hot. You could taste each spice, and the depth of the flavors. Halfway through my meal it wasn't so hot anymore, make sure you get a drink! 😊😊😊 Will be going back soon.
I had a delicious dinner last night, ordered Tikka Masala with shrimp and Paneer Pakora. Food came out quickly and very well cooked with intense spices. Best garlic naan I ever had. Staffs are all friendly. Highly recommended.
Just passing thru on Hwy 5. Needed a break. Made a stop @ Delta Shores Found Chaat Bistro Walked in. It was clean. Cozy. And the game was on. We ordered food. They have Gluten / Dairy free options Food came out pretty quick It was fresh. It was tasty. Very flavorful. Wow! 3 levels of spicy. Mild. Medium. Or hot.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chaat Bistro, one of Sacramento's finest Indian restaurants, and I must say, I was completely blown away! From the moment I stepped foot inside to the very last bite, everything about this restaurant was simply perfect. First and foremost, the location of Chaat Bistro is absolutely splendid. Situated in the beautiful Delta Shores, it offers a prime spot that is conveniently close to Elk Grove, yet right at the border of Sacramento. Surrounded by amazing establishments, including the Regal movie theater, this dining spot provides an unparalleled experience. As a family-owned restaurant, Chaat Bistro exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere. The service provided by the friendly and helpful staff is top-notch. With quick service and minimal waiting time, the team, led by the amazing manager Hardeep and his partner, ensures that every customer feels welcome and taken care of. The prices at Chaat Bistro are more than reasonable, offering great value for the exceptional quality of food and service. Whether you're visiting for a casual meal or a business meeting, the restaurant's ambiance is ideal. It carries an air of sophistication, reminiscent of a scene straight out of a Hollywood movie, yet maintains a pleasant and quiet environment. Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the food! I had the pleasure of trying their Channa Bhature, and it was an absolute delight. As someone who hails from India, I can confidently say that it brought back memories of the authentic flavors I enjoyed back home. The bhature, freshly prepared upon ordering, was incredibly fluffy, soft, and downright delicious. Paired with the perfectly cooked channa, which had just the right amount of seasoning and minimal oil, the dish was not only a treat for the taste buds but also a healthy choice. The expertise of the owner's dad, who doubles as the cook, truly shines through in every bite. His culinary skills as one of the best Punjabi cooks out there are undeniable, and the passion he puts into each dish is evident. It's no wonder that the Channa Bhature I had at Chaat Bistro was the best I've had so far—it was truly a heavenly experience. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Chaat Bistro enough to anyone looking for an exceptional Indian dining experience in Sacramento. This Punjabi gem offers a fantastic combination of delectable cuisine, friendly service, and a wonderful ambiance. Come and support this family-owned establishment and indulge in Indian food at its absolute finest. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. I, for one, am already planning my next visit!

Really good Indian food at Delta Shores, plus desserts!
First time here, absolutely delicious! Naan so fresh and piping hot to soak up yellow dal tadka. Cream Dal with fresh herb sprinkled on top. Yum! No photos- it’s all gone!
I had the chicken tika plate . It comes w/white rice, naan, cucumber salad and a small dal. I’m picky and everything on the plate was really good . There was enough chicken that I made two meals from it. It was so good together that I got the same thing twice this week. There’s a nice vibe in there too
We were on our way the sandwich eatery but Chaat Bistro caught our attention. The Tava Chicken was delicious, flavorful, colorful and perfect for our little ones. I absolutely loved the Fish Curry. It was flavorful & spicy. The meal satisfied our expectations.
Great food. Lots of menu options. Vegetarian options. Service was good. Everything was spotless. Love samosas chaat as an appetizer! And their mango lasi is great. Will come back if I'm in the area!

I have ordered same thing twice and they are always the way I expected. Food quality and quantity is good. I had ordered chole, garlic naan and chicken briyani. But the chole is exceptionally amazing. It’s sweet, tangy and spicy, just the way I like it.
I was on the hunt for BHEL PURI ever since I got back from London. It's a savory popular Mumbai (formerly called Bombay) street food made with crispy puffed rice tossed with peanuts, onions, tamarind chutney, and bunch of stuff. I found Chaat Bistro in Delta Shores have this dish on the menu and I was eager to try it. The worker had told me that everyone has a different variation of this dish and he was right. It wasn't the same. It was on the sweeter side and lacking the crunch. It was okay but not what I had in mind. I also ordered the GOBI PAKORA. It's fried cauliflower seasoned in chickpea batter. Yummy appetizer but on the spicy for me. The BUTTER CHICKEN served with rice or NAAN was my favorite. The mild tomato cream sauce infused with spices was my kind of spicy level. You can't go wrong ordering this dish. The LAMB BIRYANI is another staple. I'm not a big lamb person but my boys enjoyed it. You can also replace Lamb with Chicken, Shrimp, Vegetarian, etc. Overall a nice Indian spot. Service was quick. It's counter service. You order, pay and wait for your order.
The curry dish is good but the rice tasted like some kind of fragrant chemical, almost like perfume or soap. It was very off putting
My sister and I enjoyed our meal. The customer service we received was great. The flavor and spices in the mango curry satisfied my taste buds. My sister enjoy her wrap and their mango juice is so delicious!
Really tasty food made with fresh ingredients and a nice open ambiance. There's quite a bit of variety and the prices are pretty fair for the amount of food they give you. Nice to have a family owned business amongst all the chains in Delta Shores. Support your local businesses!
Great food, friendly staff, and nice atmosphere. BUT..... I'm giving it 4-stars for the portion sizes. For $14 I'd expect either twice as much of the main dish or close to it. I ordered a vegetable curry and when I was handed the bag I thought it was a little light, but just took it without complaining or checking. Again, it is delicious food, BUT this isn't fine dining or an upscale restaurant, it was lunch prices, and it's literally all vegetables, and some rice, in two small containers. For $14. I am glad I went to experience something new, but I wouldn't go back because of the small portions. Either increase the portions 50%+ or drop the prices ~25% and this would be an all around great experience. That being said, if you are new to Indian food, this is a great place to try it.

We came from San jose, food was absolutely delicious, it was flavorful. We loved the food so much. But service was little disappointing. When we entered, it wasn’t very welcoming, the guy who served the food was fine but everyone else wasn’t really attentive. So i think if service would be better, customers will love this place. Overall, food was really hit a spot, hats off to the chef.

Everything tasted so similar. And unfortunately, food was stale as well. Literally got a bad stomach for the next two days.
Wow talk about disappointed. None of the meat lasted like "lamb" or "chicken." Very disappointed. This is coming from an Indian person that loves Indian food. This is mediocre at best. Maybe if they used quality ingredients it would better. Also delivered cold.
We ordered food but it was so so salty and the masala's there are so much my throat is burning. Amd also its expensive than other Indian restaurants. Trying for one is okay but don't wanna try again
My experience at this location was extremely disappointing due to rude and unprofessional customer service. The staff member took our order, checked ID, and accepted payment without informing us that dining in was required. This was only mentioned after payment, which caused inconvenience. When we raised our concern, the staff member responded very rudely instead of apologizing or offering a solution. Clear communication and respectful behavior are basic expectations, and unfortunately, both were missing here.
If I could leave zero starts I could. I had ordered butter chicken, goat curry, and naan for dinner and this was by far the worst Indian food I ever had. The naan tasted stale, the butter chicken not only smelt bad but the taste was so bad it caused members of my household to vomit. And the goat curry was old. I will not be ordering from this place again. Always try the food before ordering. Waste of $60.
