The first time I tried to come here they told us it was going to be more than an hour wait, so we skipped it. The second time we came, we ended up showing up a little bit before 6:00 and was told it was going to be 45 minutes so we decided just to wait as we were not too hungry, yet. The menu is available by QR code or you can ask them for a physical menu since sometimes that's easier. We opted for the supreme all you can eat, since we were interested in the extra options. Items that I would definitely recommend: • LA Galbi • Pork Jowl • Rub Fingers • Crispy Calamari • any flavor of wings Service is great, you can usually find someone around so if you need anything you can flag them down. They did have free ice cream available as a dessert. There is a parking lot so don't worry you will find parking. The long wait might scare you, but I definitely think it's worth it!

My friend recommended Daikon Korean BBQ when I said I wanted Korean BBQ. I’m from Alabama and we don’t yet have true Korean BBQ. This dining experience is unlike any others I’ve had. It’s all you can eat but not a buffet. You cook your own food for your entree. You choose from 2 appetizers, 3 sides, and 3 proteins. My friend and I chose lemon pepper wings and dumpling for sides. We got rice, assorted vegetables, and mushrooms for sides. Our proteins were pork belly, chicken, and beef bulgogi. We added spicy bulgogi as well. Most of the food came to our table from this server robot with an automated voice. We would get our food and there is a grill at the center of the table. The human server lit grill and we proceeded to put or meat and vegetables on the grill. It took a little time for the process to hit me. I’m not used to cooking my own food at a restaurant but it was fun. I really enjoyed that experience. We got to cook the food to our liking and the end result was satisfying. The meats were seasoned well and didn’t taste too salty at all. We enjoyed everything we had. This was the best Korean BBQ I've had.

Haven't had AYCE Korean BBQ in a minute. We are visiting Sac for the weekend and stumbled on this place. Wow, from host walking us to our table and throughly explaining to us how it is and what to expect. Heidi V. was our waitress and was simply amazing. The joint was packed and she managed to periodically check up on us, made recommendations. Overall made the experience the best. Kitty the robot was a hit too, bringing all our things we ordered. Staff: A+ Food & Selection: A+ Atmosphere: A+

This place never disappoints as almost all of the proteins are well seasoned and the appetizers are out of this world. The lemon pepper wings and fried calamari alone are worth the drive to Dailon. Service today was excellent, better than it has been before but it's never been bad. The little serving robot is so cute and fun too.

We came here tonight for my birthday. This was my first experience with Korean barbecue. The wait to get our table for six was reasonable. They accommodated us nicely with a double grill table since one of the party members has a shellfish allergy. Food was really good and the service was outstanding. I'm excited to come back. Favorite dishes were the garlic noodles, fried calamari and the Hawaiian steak. The steak just melted in your mouth.

Not sure why. The elote is gritty and was inedible to me. Others may enjoy it. The calamari came out cold but was still tasty.

Jared was great at getting us a table and fitting our large party in for the evening! The food was good however the service like many others stated could be improved. We often felt we had to ask for help from the other servers to help clean and buss off our table to fit the food they were bringing, we had to ask for refills, grill changes, buss table etc and felt like every 10 min we had to be looking for our server or asking someone else to help. Hopefully they can improve the flow ensuring the guests are enjoying the experience rather than serving themselves esp with the robot delivery. We were grabbing food off of the tray and it started moving causing a plate to fall.

The food is really good and I was surprised by the number of selections on their menu. The only reason I couldn’t give 5 stars was because of the service. My server was often disengaged even when directly speaking with me. It was like his thoughts were at another table. For example “what would you guys like” and “is there anything else I could get you guys” and it was just me, one person. All in all I had a good time and I will probably be back.

Nice atmosphere, and definitely a place where time slows down. From start to finish, no one cleared the table or refilled our water, and the food arrived at a very relaxed pace. It was our first visit — and most likely our last.

However when I was seated the table looked like it hadn't even been cleaned properly. The service here is absolutely terrible and I was forced to wait 15 minutes to even get a waiter and the menu after being seated. It took even longer for the staff to take my order and for the food to come. The busser was more willing to help with my wife and I when ordering for food. When it came to the food, the side dishes tasted bland and the meat here was by far the greasiest I've ever experienced. At the end of the meal I paid with an 100$ bill for the 60$ meal and the waiter had the audacity to ask if I wanted change as if I was going to tip him 40$ for his horrible service. Expensive poor quality food and service coupled with unsanitary dining conditions. This is was the worst experience I've ever had dining in Sacramento.

Charged $59 for a Health Hazard — Sharp Wire in Food, Filthy Equipment, and rude staff This was not just a bad meal—it was a serious safety risk wrapped in rude service and poor hygiene. Upon arriving at Daikon Korean BBQ (North Sacramento), I was greeted by no one. No manager, no staff—just shoved onto a waitlist with a cold attitude. First, I was told it would be a 20-minute wait, then told my table was ready via text, only to be told again it would be another 10–15 minutes. The online waitlist system then kicked me off altogether. Total mess. Once seated, the only way to keep the server’s attention was through constant eye contact. Service was inattentive and robotic (literally—they use robots to drop off food, but don’t train the humans to follow through). But the real issue? I found sharp metal wire embedded in the food—specifically, coming from the BBQ grate they supplied to go over the flame. These weren’t stray hairs—these were thin strands from steel wool, used for scrubbing. If swallowed, they could cause internal bleeding or death. This is not a joke. It is a serious health code violation. Their response? A casual offer of $5 off the bill. When I pushed for management, they bumped it to $12 off. Still, I was charged $59 for a meal that could have put me in the hospital. To make it worse: • The water pitcher they served us had dirt on the side. • There is no sauce bar like other KBBQ or hot pot spots. • Portions were tiny—not remotely worth the price. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry, as a manager I can confidently say this meal should have been comped entirely, with a formal apology and offer to make it right. Instead, they acted like I was a bother. I will be filing a formal Complaint to the health department as the stack of grates was consistently used even after my complaint Do not eat here. This isn’t just bad service—it’s an active health threat.

We ordered a seafood boil from Firehouse Crawfish last night — 2 lbs of shrimp and 1 lb of mussels. Unfortunately, both my husband and I ended up with food poisoning afterward. While eating the shrimp, it didn’t taste fresh, especially after biting into the head. I honestly should’ve stopped eating it, but since we’ve been coming to this spot for a long time, I didn’t think much of it at first. This was really disappointing because we usually enjoy this place, but this experience has definitely made us hesitant to return. I hope they take food quality and freshness more seriously.
