The $2 tacos on Taco Tuesday are THE BEST! NO LIE. Flavorful, lots of meat and great toppings! The drinks are strong and cheap!!

They just don't make them like they used to! You won't find a stronger, cheaper drink anywhere in town. Also they serve lunch, which a lot of people don't know about. Really Blue Plate style. Big portions of semi- homemade but delicious food, (you know, stuff your Grandma would make), for under $10. Now this place is far from what you might consider fancy. But they certainly aren't pretending to be either. It's just a simple old dive bar that serves up strong drinks, nothing more nothing less. For entertainment they have a skee ball table, a jukebox, and most of the time some old man that will tell you his life story. SO ENJOY!

Good service depending onbthe time you go. It can get pretty busy. If you need a good stiff drink this is the spot! A splash if soda in your rum you say..sure

A very diverse place. I felt welcomed and would recommend anyone who likes a nice dive bar to check it out. I was sad that many songs on the juke are filtered and it was pretty hot. Otherwise I enjoyed my time and will likely return.

A hang out spot for older black men and women; looking for a hook up 😁 the dress code is very basic, and the cocktails are "dranks" too strong to "drink" 😆 and enjoy!!! Now.... the question is, would I go back again🤔uuuuh ooommm🤔 probably. Why? Because some of girls would like to go, and still the show 🤫

Monthly menu posted so you know what magic plate The Cook will prepare each day. Great place to grab comfort food for weekday lunch while getting a nice portion of your favorite shot! The Cook prepares a limited number of servings (11am until ?), so if you take a late lunch, no guarantees on availability.

The flame club has been in Midtown Sacramento for as long as I can remember. In fact, I bet it hasn’t changed since the day it opened sometime who knows when. It’s a great dive bar, if you want a stiff drink with a small price tag and a bartender that will listen to you cry.

No food served here and for it to be a bar it closes at 4pm...I think they open at 7 or 8 for coffee but again it's a bar the drinks are kinda cheap and strong

Mostly older men, some doing big shots of liquor, smoking in the doorway, blasting oldies, and watching sports. One working gal, others not. Stale smoke smell. Arguably there is no such thing as a clean dive bar, but this is a true dive. $5 beer, polite service, but not my scene. A place for regulars.
