The food is average no doubt but the kind of average that makes you feel like you at least got dinner right. Very filling if you don't mind putting in those extra miles at the gym. Very full crowd so you know people eat here often. Clean floor nice staff and they are always eager to give samples.
What can I say, I like fast Asian food. Clean, fast and friendly. What more do you need to know. And if it matters to you, there are people of Asian decent cooking your food. Personally, as long as the food is good nothing else really matters right.
Great place definitely wanna go again
Workers here were on top of everything from the moment we came in the door. Fast, effective, and courteous at this Panda Express. Their veggies were nice and fresh and I always appreciate that when dining with this chain. The owners of this franchise provide a clean restaurant, fresh food, and well-trained staff. We really liked the service and our meals were all tasty.
Quality of the food is always good and fresh. The staff and manager work great during rushes; manager is always on top of all the orders and she works fast and efficiently. This place is always packed for a reason. They are friendly and I love the free samples. It sometimes pays to order online but I don't mind the wait. I wish I could remember her name but good job to the manager and the trainer!
Gentlemen infront counter was very friendly and service was fast. I didn't get his name but it was around 120pm and the date 02/08/23. Women who took my payment was also friendly and asked if I wanted to add anything else to my order. Name or receipt said Emily. Thanks a bunch for the good and friendly customer service! I love panda express! It's not Chinese food but whatever it is, it's delicious! 🤣 We ordered the family meal ($29) which comes with 2 sides and 3 entrees. We got fried rice, chow mein, honey walnut shrimp ($3.75 extra) and double orange chicken. Always, always order online. Picking up will be way faster. This place is always busy and kind of ghetto so watch out when walking to and from the restaurant. This family meal is a great deal! We fed 4 people and there is still leftover orange chicken for later. Get this instead of the individual plates.

I like Panda Express. You can't get better fast food. Decent American/Chinese food with good flavors and textures at a fair price. Lines move quickly. Order dishes to share or individual. GREAT ALTERNATIVE TO COOKING! AND THEY HAVE DISHES THAT KIDS TEND TO ENJOY.
Went right after it opened and it was honestly the best it's ever been. It was so good. I usually go here and the portions are good and usually the orders are okay. Sometimes if you get a bigger plate they will forget to give you your little box of the third entree if you order beforehand. Usually okay though.
I have a 4 star solely because this employee Brittany is the only one not wearing gloves besides the cooks. I think that gloves should be a requirement especially after the pandemic and the recent outbreaks of monkey pox. Seems like she may be a shift leader or management.

Not sure if this is a management/owner issue, but everytime I go here I can't help but notice that you pay 100% of the price to receive about 60% of the portion you would receive at any other panda. Otherwise the place is clean and staff are nice but even though this is the closest panda to my house I can't justify going to this location anymore. Every single time.
Some of the containers were almost 3/4 full. I understand that the price of the food is up but I pay for a full portion. If they need to adjust the price is fine with me but serving less than usual is wrong. Food was good as always.
An update for my orange chicken post. I finally made my own, it was only 3 out of 5 stars beat out Panda Express' 1 out of 5, but that's only because I need to step up my fry game which would have given me at least a 4/5 star rating. My cousin's is 5/5 easy. I'm glad to see my reviews of Panda Express' orange chicken has prompted them to develop a new menu item " Blazzin Bourbon" I have yet to try, in perhaps about 7-9 more months when I my grace them with my presence at some lucky location and risk getting my pockets picked again.
I ordered a medium box of firecracker shrimp to go. First time trying this dish. When I came home and checked, the box was not quite filled up. The flavor was also not quite what I expected. I probably will go somewhere else for "Chinese food" next time. Sorry Panda..
Very Busy at this location!!!! Not super friendly (at all, in any way). I constantly ask for more soy sauce & sweet n sour sauce & head home to eat, and go figure, no freaking sauces?!! Not cool. They definitely get you in & out though, so if you have to wait, don't worry they'll be fast!! 😁
The food look fresh clean. People were nice but there was one gross thing that happened. One of the workers lifted up the window where the food was. She life the glass from we're I was standing and used this rag to clean where food was . While the rag was dangling who know what fell in the food.

The food is good though, and the people serving it are fairly friendly but not always organized or efficient.

The food is ok. It's the service that could use major improvements. Everything seems like a chore when they are helping you. I think out of all of the times I have been there, only two employees have been genuinely nice.

DO NOT EAT FROM THIS PANDA EXPRESS!! I picked up a plate for my dad and there was a piece of a BLADE in the chowmein… I went back to tell the manager & all she offered was a gift card!?!? This could’ve killed someone, very poor managed staff and quality service is absolutely TRASH.
It clearly says closes at 10pm..this has happened several times at this location..But the employees stop making food 1hour before closing and shut off grills (they say) and will not prepare anything else. They put too much vegetables barely any meat. And if you come close to closing you only get left overs. Wont be coming any more.
The woman ivy was ridiculously rude to me as I was ordering my food. she was being real discriminating towards me as I was ordering my food. she made rude comments and mug me as I ask for the entrees. The customers behind me didn't receive the same level of customers service as I did , she treated them better and yet they were a whole other race. Food was great but I refuse to come to an establishment and the employees act as if it's a hassle for them to do their job that they APPLIED for .
The food is good But The servers need to chill. Today around 3:40pm i went in and asked the server to add more walnutt shrimp and rolling her ugly eyes said no,after me telling her to add more Because i CAN pay for any additional fees. So she asked me again if i wanted to double the order when i said yes twice. Her attitude was poor and will not come back if i have to deal with people like that mexican female. Shes around 19 to 30 yrs.
Go inside to place an order they were out was told they were making it yet in 20 min still waiting for it to be cook! Horrible service if I can give no star I would! Going to go somewhere else that will serve customers
Service is always waiting. This store does a lot of take out. This is how you wait for your food. Standing in line watching take out orders being packaged. Lots of people waiting for eternity seems like. Employees just stare at you waiting but one one person is serving. What's wrong is the store mgr and supervisor don't know that the customer service is what keeps me coming back. I go to elk Grove to dine in. Better service and no homeless people in the store.
They don’t have extra napkin and fork the just give you one only
15 min trying to get my food while on break, and ended up walking out with nothing. Person started to fill my Bigger Plate. Put in the side and one entrée. Then disappeared. Next person put in the broccoli with no beef (ordered beef broccoli) then put it to the side and started to work on another order. Whe. Me plate finally got scooted towards the register, I said that was supposed to be a bigger plate and I needed another entrée. Person asked what else and I said teriyaki chicken. They grabbed a container sitting on the counter before I even ordered and put it with my food. Then another 4 minutes, I wasn't asked if I wanted anything else, and other meals were being handed past mine to the register. Not eating there again. Definitely not worth supporting their $20/hr

Worst Panda Express I have ever been to. Our food was cold, dry, tasteless and small portions. Girl helping me out had bad attitude. She asked for my name, phone receipt and phone number. She was holding my order in her hand and tried to hide the receipt (with my phone number)when she asked for it. I asked for soy sauce and she said that it "should be in there." There was no soy sauce or teriyaki sauce.

I visited this place recently and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. While ordering, I struggled a bit to understand the attender’s accent, but I tried my best to communicate respectfully. However, the staff seemed annoyed and impatient with my questions. As a vegetarian, I asked if the noodles were vegetarian. The response I got was confusing first “we don’t sell vegetarian,” and later “we only have no meat,” which made things even more unclear. When I politely asked again about vegetarian options for the side, I was met with visible irritation and facial expressions that made me feel very unwelcome. I don’t expect special treatment, but a little patience and clarity especially when it comes to dietary needs would’ve made a huge difference. Customer service and respectful communication really matter, and I hope the staff is better trained to handle such situations in the future.
Gave lukewarm food. Didn't fill sides like most panda's I've been to. Forgot to give me my sauces and they were not busy at all. I will never go back!!
I ordered two large plates. While the employee (Any, an Asian girl) was putting food on one plate, I noticed that she was putting very little food on it. I asked her to feel free to put more, to which she replied with displeasure that this was the rule. Then it got worse: Any threw my second big plate dismissively, which fell on the floor. She picked it up and prepared to put food on the fallen plate. What? I asked to call the manager, and this staff member pretended to call and continued to deal with online orders - it was profitable for her until a line formed behind me. The manager (Suxian, an Asian manager) did nothing, except that with an even more dissatisfied face gave me the minimum portion of everything, saying we count everything by the piece.

That’s why there are so many bad reviews about small portions. Panda never did me dirty like that before. I hope not every location start doing this. I left without taking my food and no one even care about that so why go there. You expect to charge people money then give them the right amount of food. PLEASE AVOID THIS LOCATION!!!

The cream cheese rangoons were especially disgusting — they tasted stale and barely had any filling inside. Nothing about this meal was fresh or satisfying. I feel like I wasted my money, and I will never be going back. Completely unsatisfied and disappointed.
I ordered two plates with two different things in them for some reason when my plate came it had a long straight piece of hair in my food I tried to call the store no answer after 20 minutes of calling the store was closed🤦🏽
