Don't let the size fool you; this cozy spot serves up some of the best food in town. The staff is attentive and quick, but the catfish is the real reason to visit. Just a heads-up: it's popular, so definitely call ahead for the catfish to make sure you get a plate!
First time here been trying to eat here for the longest.let me say food was very delicious and fresh service was great.
The catfish was delicious!! Very crunchy and flavorful!! I have been there several time and every single times I’m satisfied. However, they are only open certain time of the day so make sure you check before you go there.
Delicious menu, lovely seating layout so there's a lot of natural light, and very friendly staff. The food is really good! Here's my favorite, it's a chicken curry that's a little spicy. I always get it with a side of rice.
The catfish wrap is always good here. Just make sure you call in and make a reservation so you can get a table.
Attentive staff, clean , and welcoming atmosphere. This place serves up very delicious pho. The egg rolls were ok. I would definitely recommend this place for pho, and I would definitely come back.
Fried catfish spring rolls! So yummy. Will be back soon.

Authentic Vietnamese food. The price reflects the high-quality ingredients and good portion size. Absolutely a destination if you are in the area. Truly a hidden gem. We stop in every time we are in town.
FYI, if you order the fried cat fish, call the restaurant half hour and order the fish, when you arrive tell them who you are at the restaurant. Your catfish meal is fresh within 10 minutes. Note: if you order there it will take a half hour for the restaurant to prepare the meal. Best to order ahead of time so won't wait long.

This Vietnamese spot serves up the most scrumptious fried catfish dish. It's flavorful. Served alongside spring roll wrappers, fresh herbs, lettuce, pickled veggies and fine vermicelli. Their dipping sauce is so good! Order ahead because it gets busy as soon as they open at 5pm.
Very nice food and good value. Mostly Vietnamese locals come here. The grilled catfish hand rolls are good, big portions for this dish. The crab and fish maw soup was also terrific too. Highly recommended.
First time trying the fried fish wrap and def not the last time. So flavorful and the sauce that comes with it pairs so well. Portion is huge and can prob feed 5-7 people although it says 2-3. Def worth the $55 for this medium fried fish.
This spot used to be in San Francisco, but they opened up in Sacramento. We decided to come here one night since we were heading back home and this was on the way. They are currently only open for dinner, due to a staffing shortage. However, you can order for pickup/takeout. We decided to get the catfish DIY rolls. You definitely have to either call in to reserve a catfish, because they run out. Some other dishes that we ordered were the fried chicken wings and the beef carpaccio. The wings were fried perfectly and wore nice and crispy. The carpaccio is really delicious and spicy. The food was extremely delicious and very fresh. The staff is very attentive and extremely nice. Definitely a good spot to hit up if you're craving Vietnamese!!
The food was good but this place was way too busy. It doesn't have enough servers in this place.

You really have to plan strategically to dine here. No joke, my friend has been telling me about the fried catfish in forever. Their hours are 5-9 pm Thursday to Monday. Closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. If you try to come on the weekend or Friday night. There is usually a wait, unless you come at 5 pm when they just opened. Also, they seem to be short staff. This review is based on my take-out experience for the fried catfish. We ordered the medium size, which comes with the rice paper, vegetables, vermicelli and two sauces (fish sauce & anchovy sauce). I don't know what they season the fish with or how they fry it but it is insanely good! I couldn't get enough of it. I love fish in general, especially fried fish. I would definitely get the large fish plus a meat dish next time for family of 4. Definitely 5 stars for the fried catfish. The service can use some improvement. I had called at 4:50 pm to place my order and was told to pick-up at 6 pm. She took down my name and phone number. When I got there at 6 pm on the dot, they couldn't find my order. I think she gave my order away to someone else. I end up waiting for another 10-15 minutes and she didn't even address the mistake/wait or offer an apology. It's not a huge deal and I get the impression that is the norm for them.
I wasn't impressed by the atmosphere and decor, but I was blown away by the food. We ordered a big fish for 6 people. It was delicious. I definitely recommend their food.

The food itself is good although overpriced. This review has more to do with the service My niece came into town and wanted to eat the fried catfish. We asked for the peanuts on the side since she has an allergy to some nuts and they still screwed up the order. For $60 for a small size fried catfish that’s not acceptable in any way. We didn’t have the time to wait for them to remake it since it’s slow as molasses as it is to get your food. She was disappointed that she didn’t get to eat the catfish and I’m probably more upset than she is over it. For a $200 food bill, it wasn’t worth it. Unfortunately it’s the best place to get fried catfish in town.
Horrible communication. Tried calling in large order as they requested. Phone rang and rang-no answer. Arrived at restaurant, was ignored. Finally a lady came to take order. Then midway through the order, she left without notice and an elderly man came to continue taking the order. Took 1.5 hours for our food to start being served. We had 8 people at our table, only 6 glass of water was provided, however one of the glass was dirty and cloudy. Overheard a group of 3 guest sitting nearby (party of 3) complaining that they had been waiting 45 minutes for their food. When the food FINALLY arrived, every thing tasted great. We do not plan on returning.

Although I am grateful that we were seated almost right away, without making a reservation that I didn't know was required, I have to say that this is by far the worst dine in experience I've had. We were able to order about 10 minutes after being seated. Ordered the beef and shrimp skewers, chicken basil stir fry, shrimp spring rolls, rice, and one pho. It took 30 minutes for the beef skewers, spring rolls, and rice to come out. They were not served at the same time though. Each dish came out about 4-5 mins after the other. Surprisingly to me, the pho has not made it out before the other dishes. Thought maybe it was going to be out soon. Nope. The chicken basil stir fry comes out and I'm still waiting for the pho.. told the others to eat first so their food doesn't get cold. After waiting another 20 minutes for the pho, I decided to just tell them to pack it home. Was told it'd be out soon, and still waited another 10 minutes for it. Brought it home to eat, and the broth was extremely sweet and salty. Even added lots of lime to it to balance but at this point it literally killed my hunger. If I waited for an hour for this pho, I expected it to taste really good. Not even mediocre. Sucks because I tasted the other dishes and they were delicious. Im disappointed in the lack of communication from the waitress. We were not even told how long it would be for our food to come out, out of courtesy. If they had told me an estimate wait for our food to be out, tha's a different story. Could be a really great place to dine in more often if the service is better. Never going back. Good luck to those that come here.

We just got our fried fish to go. When we got home , the fish was so fishy that it was extremely inedible. We usually enjoyed the fried fish. But this time, it was such bad quality, fishy, tasted like it was not washed or cleaned properly. We had to throw it out. They were so busy, we called at 5, and told us that it’ll be ready at 7:30. We didn’t mind waiting, but to wait for that long, excited to eat. Then ended up extremely disappointed. It was not worth our time to drive back while the restaurant was packed, people are sitting waiting out of the door, tried calling, but never got through. It’s understandable to be busy, but it’s not excuse to sacrifice quality of the food just because you’re busy.

We just finished dinner here. 7 people (2 kids, 5 adults). The restaurant was just lightly busy. What did Why do peopl Dinner took 2 hours. We sat in the middle of the restaurant and were forgotten. There were other tables that got their food and were leaving before we got anything on our table. I had to get up multiple times to ask where our food was. At the end of dinner, they realized they forgot our drinks and casually just slipped it on our table as we were putting food in to-go boxes. Of course, they charged us for it. We also had ordered a catfish claypot in advance to-go because we knew it would take some time. They forgot that too. When I asked and complained, the gentleman at the hostess station said “sorry, we are just busy”. I have ordered from this establishment multiple times, but the service and accountability tonight was just disrespectful. It just showed they did not care for their customers. Sad to say, my family and I will not be supporting them anymore.
