We visited Pocha House on a Saturday around 630/7. We got a table right away. There was a Kings game starting at 7, and they had the game projected on 2 side walls as well as playing on a few TVs behind the bar. Our waitress (and all staff) were super friendly. We ordered the Spicy KFC which were fried spicy chicken wings with a side of cabbage salad and pickled jalapeños. The wings had the best fry I think I have ever had on a piece of chicken and the sauce was an even balance of spicy, sweet, and super flavorful. We also ordered Fire Booty Booldak. Spicy chicken on a bed of tater tots with torched cheese. Not only did the dish arrive piping hot, but they torched the cheese table side. The chicken was really tender, and it was a great combo with the tater tots and melt cheese. This was a great place for a weekend date night. It wasn't too loud to chat, but we also got to watch the game. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely delicious! The soy garlic wings were crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Loved the sides too — especially the pickled radish. Great portion and worth the price!

This was a great cozy late night experience. The food was good and the service was great. The TTEOKBOKKI could have used more rice cakes, but the flavor and spice was good. The ODENG TANG was my personal favorite, just giant fish cake in a yummy broth. The VOLCANO STEAMED EGG was delicious as well.

Get here soon, because this spot is sure to be a hit! Great food, stellar vibes. Here's the run down: Vibe - Went at around 6 on a Friday and sat at the bar in the front room, but there's also a more bar-like bar in the back that looked cool. There were still a few 4- and 6-top tables open when we got there (and they offered them to us), but since we only had 2 people, we didn't want to take up the real estate. Drinks - We got beer (Knee Deep's Breaking Bud IPA, but they had a decent selection on tap). They also have a lot of great looking cocktails that I can't wait to try! Food (Pro-tip: order the corn cheese and then put it on top of everything else!)- Corn cheese - it's basically like canned corn with shredded cheese on top (mozzarella maybe?) and they torch it table side. There was also a version that comes with crushed hot Cheetos on top. Mandu - deep fried beef dumplings that taste a lot like a really good egg roll. They come with a soy dipping sauce that is a perfect amount of salty balance Kimchi pancake - okay, I am a white lady who was raised in the Midwest and to my eternal shame, I have never really liked the funk of kimchi. But this kimchi is very light on the funk, heavy on the sour, and just enough heat to fulfill that craving without making you feel like you're destroying your insides. Also comes with soy dipping sauce Bulgogi fries - the shining star of the meal for me! French fries topped with bulgogi, green onion, kimchi, and a couple sauces. It's not overly loaded down, so the fries stayed crispy. The sauces really reminded me of the bulgogi nachos from TaKo (RIP 😭) which I would get hella cravings for. Recommendation for the menu - please make a nachos version of the bulgogi fries! Sub fried wonton chips instead of fries and put corn cheese on top! Would be a perfect sharable bar snack!! 😍

The food and holiday drinks at this place are sooo good!! The hot cheetohs corn cheese and bulgogi fries were 👌🏽 delicious I will definitely be going back and ordering both of them again! Super cute atmosphere with the holiday decorations, but I especially love their LED signs and overall setting. I heard they have a DJ who plays exclusively r&b and hip hop on Fridays and Saturdays, so I'll be returning next week to check it out! The music they played tonight on a Thursday was perfect already so I'm excited to see what their dj has in store!

New place in town. Kimchi pancake and tteobboki were quite impressive. The pancake was thin enough to feel the crust at the edge, and tteobboki was almost the same one in S.Korea. Try the pancake with Makgeolli, the Korean rice wine. It's sour and sweet and those are traditional pairings. Of course, Korean meat is always right. The atmosphere is definitely for young people.

No frills Korean food with a fun party/club’ish atmosphere with hip hop music bumpin’ in the background. (Share the playlist, Pocha House!) The menu isn’t very large but covers off on a bunch of key Korean items - mandu, ddukkboki, bulgogi, etc. The kimchi pancake is legit - reminds me of home kind-of-cooking. Kimchi carbonara is something I’d expect if I were in Korea - a delicious savory plate combining my love of Italian and Korean food.

Really great, especially for a soft opening. Ordered two cocktails, the fried giblets, and the pork bulgogi (which was fire). Felt like a lot of food for the price as well. Great ambiance, looking forward to what this place will become.

Vibes & music were immaculate! 👌 For their soft opening, it went surprisingly smooth for their opening day. Staff were super attentive and food came out timely. Food portions were big & tasty - definitely good sharing sizes. We had a lot of fun there! What a great addition to midtown. We can’t wait to come back! 🫶

Service was fast and attentive. I was able to walk in, get sat, order, get and eat food, and leave in under an hour. On top of that, the food was very delicious. I definitely will be returning, their carbonara is to die for.

I had never eaten Korean food before, and this restaurant made me fall in love with it. The staff kindly explained each dish and how to eat the BBQ with the wraps and sauces. I tried the galbi, and it was juicy, smoky, and unforgettable. The colorful lanterns and murals gave the place a lively, cultural feel. It was both a meal and a new experience.

A fantastic dining experience from start to finish! The service was impeccable, and our server made excellent suggestions for our meal. The food was absolutely delicious—especially the spicy squid stir-fry and the perfectly grilled beef. The ambiance was elegant yet cozy, with beautiful Korean-inspired décor that added to the experience. I’m so glad I found this gem!

The food is good. Solid 8/10. I feel like the portions are kinda small for its price imo. Otherwise the waiters and waitresses can talk up a nice chat, get your food out well, and get you everything you need with a smile and good vibes. Id recommend going here with friends for some fun vibes and chats.

I grew up in a Korean household and had a mother who was an excellent Korean chef. This makes me very picky as to where I go when the word "Korean" is in the description or title of the venue. I have been walking my dogs past the location for over 4 years and was happy to see that a restaurant was moving in. Consider my surprise when I found out it was a Korean tapas bar! The wife and I walked over this evening for light bites and cocktails. The vibe was cool (I dislike bars in general) there were cool neon displays on the ceiling. I liked that they had cast the TV to the brick wall, very cool. Having been here when it was the Pour House and another name which I forget... I was happy to see that this was the cleanest setup so far. We ordered a few drinks, the Seoul Sour was superb... not too tart and just a hint of mint. Peaches and cream was just that, fruity and smooth. For food we ordered the Bulgogi fries and the mandu. I remember as a young boy sitting on the floor of the kitchen making mandu with my mom. I was excited to see their interpretation of this dish. The mandu were potsticker shaped, we made them as triangles, but the flavor was spot on. As a real Korean, I ordered a side of rice and one of kimchee. My plan was to eat the bulgogi meat with my rice and leave the fries for my wife. The bulgogi was exploding with flavor but was matched well with the rice and kimchee. The food was tasty and were in generous portions. All in all I am very happy to have Korean food so close to the house.. only complaint is that they open at 4 so no lunch for me!!

Great Korean restaurant that offers wide selection of cocktails and food. Modern looks and very nice staff and good service. The bulgogi was good but the portion is very small. The Seoul soul was very delicious, and also the peaches and cream were good. If you happen to be in the neighborhood give it a try!

This place is actually really nice. It looks like it's trying to modernize itself for the newer generation of people who wants to try Korean barbecue. Bear in mind this is not in all you can eat, it's more of an à la carte. The prices are labeled and when I saw the menu looks like some of the food items are still coming up, it said coming soon. The atmosphere is really nice and it feels like you're sitting down inside of a club. The hostess and our waiter was nice and accommodating. At the time that we were here, they provided $2 tequila or whiskey shots. That was really cool. The food was okay in my opinion. They were very small portion especially the bulgogi where you can get it in a bigger portion at other places like YD. They had other random foods such as a tater tot extra spicy chicken and spaghetti I would assume? Not really Korean BBQ but I'm assuming they're trying to add more flair to the menu but all I know I would say it's a decent place to try for the first time.

Arrived at around 430pm on a Friday so the place wasn't busy yet. We were seated promptly. The server (Joseph) was knowledgeable about the menu which made ordering a breeze. Food & drinks came out quick. Food portions are worth the price. Wanted to try the Kimchi Pancakes but ordered too much food already. I'll definitely be back to try the other stuff on the menu.

Good vibes but the food… just go to Sj 😭. You’ll be safe with the bulgogi fries and kimchi fried rice— little on the salty end. The drinks have fun names and are pretty good. I went on a Wednesday evening so maybe this affected the quality…

Went here once, it was super packed luckily we got a seat. Anyways we ordered food and drinks, at the end I tipped the guy because he was nice. When I paid he asked if I wanted a receipt I said no. A couple days later my card was charged EXTRA which I did not approve of. I have never yet to receive a refund for my overcharge. Also, BTW this happened about a year or two ago, I can’t stop thinking about it. Untrustworthy servant.
