Love this place...awesome food, friendly service. Forms a perfect complement to knee deep brewing. The K-Honey chicken is my favorite... I like the boneless version, but my family prefers the bone in original wings and thighs. So much to choose from, but I'm stuck in a very comfortable and yummy rut of the K-Honey.
Ttobongee was a pleasant surprise, I was getting tires nearby and was looking for a place to grab a beer. I stumbled into Ttobongee. I ordered an Asahi beer on draft , and it came in a frosted glass it was perfect. I asked the staff what was good and a bit spicy. They ordered me a 10 piece spicy garlic wings. They were slightly sweet with a spicyness that I kept coming back to. The crunch from the wings was amazing. All in all, I would definitely give this place another try. I'm not sure if the crunch holds up when door dashed, so try it fresh.
The best Korean fried chicken I’ve ever had in the U.S.—hands down! It was absolutely delicious. I’m already missing it after finishing, and I’ll definitely be going back for more!
Tried this place for lunch. Got a bento box with fried chicken, japchae, rice, veggies, and a potsticker, came with a side of kimchi too. Paid $14 and it was worth it. Good amount of food for the price. I recommend the fried chicken. Its crispy and delicious.
Great chicken place! The servers kept mentioning how the amount my husband and I ordered which we thought was a little strange? But the food was great. The plates don't have much meat, they are definitely more sides than protein, but they are perfect to get with a side of half chicken because of all the sides. The half servings of chicken are a little expensive though, so be prepared for that if you are trying to find a cheap place to eat. The sausage and fish cake skewers were delicious, but $7 for two skewers is a little much. 😅 They were delicious though. The japchae was on point though! Very delicious!
Very good food. I ordered kimchi fried rice and soy garlic chicken. Both of it were top notch. Really good place to eat Korean food in Folsom. Highly recommend
We went to this place randomly before we had errands to run in Folsom and WOW, my husband and I were both blown away with how fresh and flavorful the chicken was! The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. We will definitely be back! Ps, the jalapeños were BOMB! Not too spicy, gently sweet. Very delicious
Decided to try this chicken place for lunch and it did not dissapoint. The half portion is plenty for 2 ppl. Would recommend the #4. So much flavor in every bite. Comes with rice and pickled radish and Jalapeños.
Just had their crispy chicken, and my wife had their beef and tofu soup. These guys have some delicious korean food offerings. We really enjoyed their chicken and the soup. The soup also came with a side of different korean appetizers. We were really happy. Also, we took a to go order of the Korean short ribs for my father, and he enjoyed them a lot.
Ordered the Chicken Bul Go Gi (S6) and a nice guy also dining let me try the Yang Nyum fried chicken, food was fresh, great portions, and DELICIOUS…to top it off host Scarlett was super friendly and came by to see if my first time visiting was going well & food to my satisfaction!! I’ve found a new fav place, right next door to another fav place as well. Give it a try, my fav was the Tang Nyum for sure!! I ordered to go and decided to dine in … glad I did because of the sample I was given…as a side note: they serve Bul Go Gi for dine in guest on some cool platters … will definitely order dine in next time…!!!
One of the best chicken restaurant in Sacramento area. They also have other Korean foods too. I usually get Jalapeños wings. I try Panko Shrimp plate today and it is bomb. Definitely will try the beef and seafood soup when the weather gets colder.

We love going here. Excellent fried chicken and the pickled radish is sublime.
The soy & garlic chicken is amazing! The people are so kind too! Definitely coming back for date nights.
This is hands down the best friend chicken around. My go-to order is always the extra crispy full chicken. I’ve introduced this place to 5+ different people who also all confirm this is the best fried chicken they ever had. 100% recommend
Fried chicken was excellent! Kalbi combo meal was good and filling. Onion rings and croquet were yummy. I'll probably order to go next time since tables are too close together and the table legs still hurt even with the pool noodle padding.

**Delivery Order Food was very good. Chicken was crispy, well seasoned and satisfying. Bulgogi plate was a good serving size for one person. The rice was a bit hard (easy fix). I will order again for delivery/pickup or sit in.
The fried chicken is fabulous. I luv the chicken wings. My two faves are the extra crispy and original options. The chicken is moist in either version you get. The original’s exterior has a classic crisp exterior. For an extra crunchy taste and texture, go for the extra crispy version. Both are not greasy at all, just darn delicious. Mmmm. They provide complimentary pickled daikon. Which I didn’t grow up eating but sure do like eating it now. It’s crunchy with a very, very mild pickle taste. Their version is light on the pickling, so no sour taste. They have other menu items. I recently ordered the spicy beef tofu soup to go. But for the amount of soup provided and at the price point, it is not much of a value. The sauces are provided so you can spice up the soup. The beef is thin slices reminiscent of hot pot slices. The tofu are large sliced cubes. The kimchee is more on the “less spicy” but still has the classic taste. The dining room is small. Not ideal for large groups.
If you want some yummy Korean chicken look no further. Delicious fried chicken offered in a variety of different flavors. They've also go different meal options and yummy side dishes/appetizers to try. Very filling. Fast service for receiving food as well.
My kid & I went in on Sunday afternoon for to-go order. We ordered fried chicken & corn dog and waited around 15 mins to get our food since it wasn't too busy. - potato & cheese corn dog: good. The potato pieces on the crumb were crunchy. The cheese inside was melty. However, it was pretty small portion for the price. - half & half (original & yang nyum chicken): They gave generous portion of chicken pieces. The original chicken was crispy and the meat was still tender inside. However, I wished that it would have more flavor. The Yang Nyum chicken was still crispy when I got home. It had sweet & spicy taste - delicious! I prefer the other Korean fried chicken in Folsom since it was more flavorful but this one is good too. I would come back to try different menu.
First timer for Korean Fried Chicken - I’d return to further explore their menu. My “Lunch Special” was ample proportion. I chose “boneless wings” vs bone in, meaty and mildly spicy and tasty. Outdoor tables so I could eat with my dog LuLu. Kimchi instead of cold slaw was another good choice I made. Google maps didn’t show their location in the correct spot, not there at all, or off by a few “suites” in the strip mall, depending on search wording. I stumbled across ‘em as I’d come to “Nothing Bundt Cakes” which is a few doors away.

Saturday, 6/21/2025 - Tried TTObongee Korean Fried Chicken. Address is 2791 E Bidwell St, Unit 1100, Folsom, CA 95630. This is located in a large shopping plaza with lots of parking. Upon arrival..... Pros 1) I saw tables outside and people eating outside. There are tables inside. We were the only ones inside eating. 2) There was an order kiosks right by the exit door or you can walk up to the cashier and order there. Cashier was very nice. We ordered and paid, then wait for our foods. They bring it to your table. 3) they also have party trays to order. 4) the foods we ordered were good. Maip Dak Chicken was a little too sweet for my liking, but it's still good. Tempura shrimp and Sodduk Sodduk were good. 5) water tasted fine. Cons 1) none 2) Conclusion Cute little restaurant. Simple. Easy to order, eat and go. Cashier was nice. She took our order and brought the foods to the table. There are plenty of stores in that area to shop after you eat here.
