Great fish and chips at great prices. Fish are light and crispy. Chips/fries are great too. Just wish the itemized receipt had the names of the items you ordered. Would make this place an awesome per diem food spot after a long day.

Food was exactly what I ordered and wanted. It tasted great, served with color and style. The cashier/waiter was helpful, thoughtful. The price was great. Will go back soon.

Been going here for years never had a problem food was always hot. My kids loved it when they were little and they still do with my grandkids!! Every place has an off day but I recommend this place to my friends and family and they enjoy it too!! Try it!

Need I say this is the best fish and chips in the city! The sad part of our visit was the store had been vandalized not once but twice... Windows have been knocked out but yet customer service was top-notch and the food was absolutely delicious. It's sad that people today cannot run and honest wholesome business without some clown or clowns making life hard for them.

Always seen this place but finally got the chance to try it. Fish and chips are so crispy, even after I brought the leftovers home it was still crunchy! The sauce is very good too - it tastes unique compared to other tar tar sauce. Very nice owners adds the cherry on top!

Came in at 3pm on a Saturday and was greeted by a very nice couple that were quick to help me order. I waited about 10 minutes for a 2 piece fish order and was more than satisfied with it. I needed to season my meal a little with some salt but the hot fish and crispy fries were really good. The batter on the fish was light and without salt I could really taste the fish. The fires were also pretty good too as they were hot and crispy. Very lucky to have stumbled upon this place and will try to visit more often.

Driving around, undecided on what to have for lunch when we came across this fish and chips shop at the corner. Food amazing 10/10 Services 10/10 Food came out fresh, hot and quick. Not to oily, chunk fries, and fresh coleslaw.

The owners are super sweet, I watched them handle a difficult customer with grace. The food was delicious, served quickly and was fresh, good quality fish. It’s comparable to railroad fish and chips but they give you a much bigger serving for the price! Will definitely be back!

Edit: This place is at good as it was 9 years ago! Just picked up the 12 piece and the fish was all cooked perfectly and the fries were equally delicious. My wife likes the chicken strips and potstickers, those are really good as well! 9 years ago: I brought my daughter here to show her what "real" fish and chips should taste like. We were not disappointed. I also got the shrimp, which was equally delicious. I can't wait to go again.

I'd give them 5 star's but I wasn't partial to the tarter sauce. The fish was better than I've had since my grandmother last made it for me. Fries were crispy and hot. Thank you for the great lunch. I'll be in again

Not too greasy food, overall decent tasting. Fish is not super fresh but it's not super expensive. The owners/workers are nice people though.

Fish batter was not cooked well on the inside. Top outside layer was crispy and had good flavor but batter was thick and not cooked well on the inside. Generous portions on fish. But not too generous on onion rings and calamari as both were put on the same small basket.

Nice little location for some Seafood, but it’s nothing special. As an update, they don’t have Red Snapper anymore, as one of the pictures would suggest. They only have: Pollock, Catfish & Tilapia. My gripe is with the portion of fish (Pollock) I received. I only got one long piece & two small chicken nugget sized pieces which was horrible. I mean, why couldn’t I get normal sized pieces? The Wife who took my order wasn’t nice or mean, but some type of demeanor in-between. In closing, I’ll try to find a different location for similar food before going there again. If I fail, THEN I’d go there again, reluctantly. Lol

This was the second time she was beyond courteous. I ordered two pieces of fish with onion rings and four prawns. It used to be $17. Now it’s $25 and some change. So I was surprised when she said 25 and I said why is it costing so much? she grabbed the receipt and began pointing at the prices so there’s no more combo meals. So I said I just wanted to know why the price was so high. I wasn’t expecting that. Her response was to throw the receipt at me that will be the last $25 and change I spend there. I always tell my children we work hard for our money. We should be respected when we spend it. That was just beyond respect and there was somebody else at the counter when she did it. So she just doesn’t care. So I don’t care to do business there anymore. Captains fish and chip is available Louisiana fried chicken has good fish and so does Rey’s.

I hate to say this because I like their waiter dude, very nice people. But their fish is tasteless, with too much batter on fish and calamari. Fries are tasteless and dry too, with a hard bite unlike the crisp crunchy bite people look for. I am very dissapointed because the google rating seems to be quite excellent but their food do not live up to it at all.

Was surprised when I was dining inside, (dining inside!) and asked for a little more tartar sauce as the tartar sauce that came with my 3 piece meal was a small container. Was told it would be an additional $.50 for the same small amount. It makes me wonder to what lengths this business goes to to cut to costs, scary! I will not return to this place.

Food had NO seasoning at all. Lady wasn't very polite but the cook was. Got our order wrong & could use some kind of entertainment (radio/Tv etc)

The food was good and hot and fresh. They charge extra for everything. I understand the reason why, but it’s still a turn off. Why not just charge the rate you want for your food instead of charging more for the extras? Since when did tartar sauce on my hush puppies become ‘extra’, these things used to be standard when we sit down for our meals. Love this place and have been taking my family for years and we used to go as a family with my parents when we were kids. Makes it hard to spend my money there after the way I felt the day we sat down and ate. There’s an old saying...’it’s not what you say, it’s how you say it’

Today I woke up wanting fish and chips. I as most people checked Yelp and found this place. It was the worst choice ever. There was little to no fish, all batter and no taste whatsoever. The service was poor and the food matched the service. I will never go there again or recommend it to anyone.

First thing I will say is Unwelcoming, it's hurry up and pay me service, and the tarter sauce tastes like miracle whip. They charge you more for tatar sauce and refills on drinks after one fill is $0.50 more each time. My fries were overcooked. I love the one on Folsom Blvd. I'll never come back to this location!

The chicken is fake frozen so are the French fries and the fish. They just dip previously frozen fish in batter. Made me real sick I can’t eat processed food. They are advertising it as being real and fresh.
