This is the best place ever omg!! I originally door-dashed a side of steak and potatoes chips and it was so good the whole family went there for dinner. All the kids loved the steak as well. The first steak was a beautiful rare perfectly cooked even with the delivery still warm. The second round was well cuz the babies and my boys don’t eat a lot of meat but they ALL ate it and loved it. This is our new favorite restaurant definitely recommend this place 100%

Great meal! Tried this place over the holidays. Manny, Kyle & Patty went above and beyond,. From management to the servers, leadership is strong here. They develop their people to be more invested so that customer experience is high. Get the coconut lime refresher and tuna nicoise! Truffle fries were yummy. Fish was great quality and I love that the music is chill, not too loud. I am told they'll be expanding to a Roseville and north Sacramento location soon! I would have taken photos of food but it's gone! I was hungry :) I like the decor and that it's casual but food was more elevated. ( like grass fed, grass finished beef, lamb and seabass) Sacramento needs this option 👏🏽

My daughter and I needed lunch after an errand and decided to try Urban Plates. We were immediately greeted warmly and patiently as we narrowed down what we actually wanted from the array of delicious choices. The atmosphere was inviting and joyful from the seating to the playful staff chatter. Felt like we were at an extended family gathering. There were booths, long tables, and outdoor seating. Temperature was comfortable. The food was reasonably priced, fresh, and tasty. We look forward to returning to try a variety of items. It's the kind of place at which you could enjoy lunch or dinner daily.

Patty was our server on this phenomenal night filled with adventures and meaningful life experiences. I was walking by and noticed this clean, well taken care of establishment so my pondering mind convinced me and my posse to check it out. The service team went above and beyond, ensuring I received my food exactly 3 minutes and 46 seconds after sitting down. The food was beautiful, like the Mona Lisa, and I was rewarded with a cookie desert at the end of my meal. Patty saved my life today.

I had such a wonderful experience at Urban Plates in Sacramento! We ordered the steak platter with a variety of sides, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The highlight of our visit, though, was the service. Our server, Rico, was incredibly considerate of our allergies and checked in regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. I love this place!! This is my third time coming here. Foods great and so are the staff. You'll have to try their Chimicurri grilled steak and Ahi salad. wine is pretty good too!

Patty gets 5 stars for her excellent service. I ordered a side of French fries and it was a very small plate with just a few French fries. She immediately brought out another plate to make up for that and was so friendly. The lady that helped us at the cash register was also very friendly even though we asked her many questions because it was the first time here for many in our group. This all lent to a very pleasant evening for my family. Food quality and cooking was also good. The portions should be larger for what you pay .

Fist time eating in this newly establishment. Loved the location and atmosphere. It’s opened and spacious and majority of the basic needs are self served. The service is amazing but the foods are not so good. Some of the items like fries 🍟 and soups are very salty. Bread is very hard and over cooked. Chicken is very dried and the dressing is very thigh. However, I will go back and give it another tried.

I feel that this company pays for fake reviews. I had the blackened salmon. it was a small piece of salmon and had way too much salt and seasoning on it. my wife had something that everyone raved about in the reviews but she said it tasted Ike dinty Moore canned food. we paid over $40 for both dishes pictured. the main course was horrible and the potatoes were solid and undercooked and the mushrooms were nothing special. I am betting google buries this review as they seem to allow fake reviewing. I noticed reviews don't say when they were given or when the person went to said restaurant. if two reviews are in different states and posted back to back it could give that away and I feel that's why they no longer date them. either way I won't ever go back to urban plates. I went based off of their menu but seeing what I saw the food on their menu was made by another company I will try other places and won't return.
