My family decided to try this restaurant as we love Mexican food, and the reviews were good. This restaurant did not disappoint. We were greeted and seated immediately (on a Friday night).The customer service that we received was amazing. We met one of the employees (Jose), and he told us to let him know if we needed anything. He checked on us regularly. The food was delish and they give you large portions of food. I got the fajita mix with chicken, steak, and chicken. I'll be back next time I'm downtown and craving Mexican food.

Great Food! HUGE portions! I used to go here all the time when I was I kid, and I recently came back, and it was cheap, delicious, authentic Mexican food. I got the Large Nachos, and I was not expecting LARGE nachos. I ate this for two days. Highly recommend coming here, It’s amazing!

Massive, broad selection of nearly every type of Mexican food you can think of. Really well prepared and highly delicious. Staff was very attentive. Our large group tried 10 different dinners from across the menu. Extremely tasty meals. I'd call them all abundant--a tremendous amount of food is on your plate.

Delicious food and amazing service. We ate the Queadilla Platter was huge with authentic homemade flavors, kickin' beans and lots of cheese. It looked to be about 9" long. My Chicken Salad was crisp and fresh. The tomatoes were ripe to perfect sweetness and the avocado the perfect ripeness. The grilled chicken was seasoned with a slightly spicy blend grilled to perfection. Their House Made Ranch is a perfect paring. They are allowing Dine In right now and have a quaint outdoor seating area. Make sure you bundle up if it's going to be a cool night. My husband says that a delicious way to top it off is with one of their delicious Lime Margaritas.

This was the biggest plate of nachos I’ve ever had in my entire life. The large nachos comes with your choice of meat, cheese, guacamole, tomatoes, cilantro, salsa, lettuce, and sour cream. The portion is probably enough for 3 people to share! The staff is super friendly there’s plenty of seating. There was, however, a bone in my the shredded chicken.

My wife and i decided to try this place for the first time. My wife had the quesadilla, and I had Chile Relleno. The portion size was plenty. My wife said her carnitas in the quesadilla was good. The Chile Relleno was just ok. It only had cheese inside, unfortunately. For the price, it should include meat inside. Service was good, they checked on us frequently.

I had the lunch special with 2 shredded beef crispy tacos. The food was good - but not great. A little lacking in the greasy flavor I like. The inside of the restaurant is quite noisy which made it somewhat difficult to hold a conversation. Overall, this is good, but not great and I likely won’t be back soon.

I am not sure how this place has such high ratings. I will start with the staff was great but the food is bland and not great. There was no drink menu with any sort of drink price available which was frustrating and the waitress did tell me about the house margarita which was terrible and had very little tequila. The chips and salsa is served with a green salsa which was mediocre and the red was available if you ask but sadly wasn’t any better. The atmosphere and staff are great so it’s sad that poor quality food and drinks is what ruins this restaurant.

On a rainy Sunday afternoon was looking for Mexican food. Mexican food is great in CA so the bar is high, but Vallejo didn't even cross the bar for cooking at home with a a taco mix pack from Safeway. Food lacked flavor and meat was bone dry. And gosh do they love to upcharge. $2.95 for a dollop of sour cream, you want another one because its too small, another $2.95. And then my partner asked for her Guac to be on the side and gave it to me. They charged me for her Guac as my side. I fought them on that and the attitude of entitlement "Don't forget to tip the new norm 25%" just makes eating out awful all around. P.S. All these five star reviews are bogus. The same restaurant in Yelp is 3.2 stars.

We decided to stop by this restaurant on our way from Lake Tahoe. It was one of the few restaurants in the area that were opened on Sunday evening. The first thing that caught our eye were the menu prices, which were quite steep for a Mexican restaurant. Be it as it may, we held out hope that the food quality would match the lofty prices displayed on the menu. Suffice it to say, it did not. My wet Macho Burrito with Chile Relleno sauce was predominantly filled with white rice and refried beans while my meat choice was burned during the preparation. The so called vegetable fajitas consisted of a few pieces of bell peppers despite the server claiming they had a variety of vegetables available in their kitchen. As we would later learn, they were conveniently intended for other dishes on the menu. Despite the fact that the meat came out burned, the swever had the audacity to assess an additional $4.25 charge for choosing beef tongue instead of steak, which was something that wasn't revealed at the time of ordering... In the end, my wife and I felt like we had our intelligence insulted and said as much to our waiter, but after realizing that we fell victim to a greedy restaurant scheme, we quickly paid our tab and stormed out of the venue promising ourselves that we would never come back.
