Went to Cielo for the first time tonight for Valentine’s dinner with my husband . This is honestly the best Mexican restaurant in San Angelo that we have been to! Beats Henry’s, Alejandro’s , and Nachos . The Cielo dip was the best queso we have ever had . My husband ordered Steak à la Mexicana and I ordered the quesabirria. Excellent service , superb food, great drinks , and very reasonably priced . I had the blood orange margarita and it was so good I had to order another one 😅 Thank you Natalia for the excellent service , and to the chefs for food. Environment was clean and friendly. Not a single complaint. So happy we decided to try Cielo’s, and we will definitely be coming back .!
Amazing service! The food was a bit pricey for this area but well worth it. The mocajete is my FAVORITE Mexican dish in San angelo. We will definitely keep eating here.
I am from Mexico and I think they have a very authentic and delicious guacamole. Tacos are one of the best of San Angelo. Good customer service in the bar.
This is by far the best Mexican food I have had in all of Texas. Good portions fair pricing and outstanding flavor 10/10 would recommend. Fairly quite very clean and friendly staff. We will be coming back!!!

Cielo is one of our absolute favorite restaurants in San Angelo! The food is always amazing, served quickly, and the staff is consistently so friendly and attentive. The prices are also incredible for the generous portions you get. We loved Cielo so much that we chose them to cater our wedding—and it was the best decision! Evelyn was a tremendous help throughout the entire planning process and made everything such a breeze. The food on our wedding night was fantastic, and we are still getting compliments from our guests even months Thank you to Evelyn and the entire Cielo staff for making our wedding day unforgettable and for always providing such an outstanding dining experience!
One of my favorite places! Their staff is always amazing, all of their food is incredible, their drinks are so goood, and the place stays so clean! The seating is too good. I never feel crowded in there or uncomfortable! 10/10, always recommend!

Fantastic food and the staff were second to none. Got the Baja Fish Tacos(grilled) The Molcajete And the table side Guacamole! Plus the Texas Margarita and the Yucatan Margarita! Very tasty !
We were not expecting this to be so GOOD!!! Our server Nadia was polite and knowledgeable. But the food was truly something of beauty! The sauce on the California Burrito was nothing like we'd had before and the Mole Enchiladas had the perfect hint of sweet in a savory dish. We will definitely be coming back!
We are visiting San Angelo for the eclipse. And were super excited to find a fantastic Mexican restaurant for dinner. The margaritas were excellent and well priced the salsa had a good level heat. The fajitas we ordered were some of the best we have had in a restaurant. We also had the pollo poblano and every bite was fantastic. The burrito was not the type you could pick up and eat but it was still very good.

I don’t believe there is any other Mexican Restaurant in San Angelo that services dishes as good as this restaurant. I’m sure we have visited every Mexican restaurant in Angelo. Cielo has the testiest food I’ve had in a while. We’re looking forward to returning very soon. Totally recommend this restaurant!
Came on a wkend lunch time. Busy restaurant. Service was lacking a little-our server had at least 3 large parties as well as our table. He did his best though. Our food was delicious. Had the Santa fe burrito with no meat. & it was decent. The guacamole was delicious. The queso is great. Loved the rice & beans. Not a fan of the chips but the salsa was tasty! I would return here. First thing I noticed when I walked in was grumpy faces, bad attitudes. 😠 Atmosphere seemed very inviting and decor was really modern and nice. There were about 4 ladies up front ( hostesses, cashier, waitresses) ALL just lost in space! One finally looked over our way to seat us. Chips and salsa was probably the BEST IVE EVER HAD! 😋 Food was good and favorful, prices reasonable. The overall visit was great minus the grumpys at the beginning. I will visit again.
We chose to eat here because frankly it was the least packed restaurant on this Friday night. I ordered the barbacoa taco plate which I had ordered in the past so I knew what to expect. My plate arrived cold, the tortillas & the meat inside were cold along with the rice & beans. I normally don't complain but this was too much to overlook. I told the waitress and she took the plate back. A few minutes later they brought it back warm. I didn't get an apology or any concern from the wait staff or manager on duty. The music was quite loud but im thinking that is part of their ambiance trying to attract a younger crowd? $56.00 dollars later.. cold food & impersonal staff.. I probably wont be returning. We ordered the taco plate, chicken chorizo plate & queso.
The food was okay, nothing spectacular. The taco salad was sparse on salad and meat. The taco shell was stale. The guacamole was decent. The service was good until later in the meal and we didn't see our waiter to get the check or a to go container. The music was so loud we could barely communicate. I'm not sure if I'll go back.
I ordered the Al pastor tacos, charro beans, a side of flour tortillas, and the meal included chips and salsa. Overall, I left a little dissatisfied. The beans were overly salty. The flour tortillas were chewy/rubbery and the rice was average along with the salsa. I was a bit surprised, especially being in Texas where I expected above average Mexican food. On the positive side, the inside of the restaurant looked decent. I had a takeout order. Hopefully you will have a better experience dine in or takeout.

San Angelo To Go is the best! Cielo is another story. First and last time. How is this dive still open? Every other Mexican restaurant in San Angelo is better. Bland. I've never had bland jalapeños, until now. Mediocre flavor. Way over priced. The fried burritos weren't fried. Black beans were the worst I've ever had. Did I say bland. They sent the cheapest plastic wear I've ever had. The Torta... the bread isn't... To be fair, the presentation was great, but that's about it. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Zero stars.
We’ve been to Cielo TX over 10 times and the food and drinks are consistently amazing. Unfortunately, during our most recent visit we had an uncomfortable experience with a male server who repeatedly tried to touch our 1 year old baby (car seat handles, hands, and feet) despite us not giving permission and clearly trying to set boundaries. Later he was on his phone very close to our table, which added to the discomfort. We truly love this restaurant but this experience made us feel uneasy and took away from an otherwise great place.
Very expensive microwaved burrito with 4 raw shrimp. Service was fast and kind. However, I would rather wait a hour for good food than have my order in 8 mins. This restaurant isn’t true to Mexican roots, it’s fast, expensive and not good. Save the $100 fo 2 people and go to Taco Bell
