We love Kneaders Bakery. Food is always delicious, and they provide the best service. Hazelnut bread is my favorite, and my daughter loves their chicken noodle soup.
I've eaten here at least once a month (usually twice) since I moved here nine months ago. I have had excellent food and service every single time. Quantities are very generous, so I always bring home leftovers. I love their combo options, as well. Great value!
I absolutely LOVE this restaurant!!! The best breads their Zucchini bread should be on the menu all year long without a doubt the best bread I’ve ever had super delicious!!! Their Turkey Avocado on Focaccia Is really really good it’s not like deli sliced turkey it’s fresh carved turkey it’s amazing and their sauce that they put on it very very very tasty! Love love love this restaurant!!! Super friendly staff too!
I had placed an order for delivery that included "orange rolls," but it arrived with dinner rolls. I called and spoke to the manager and within 20-30 minutes we had orange rolls...plus an extra half dozen to enjoy! Our out of town company loved them. Thank you Kneaders!
Kneaders is a fantastic place to get all your holiday breads and pies! Everything is so fresh and tastes wonderful. This location is my favorite because of all the employees...they go out of their way to make sure every order is perfect. Jacob helped me today with my large holiday order to make sure everything was just right and even helped me load it all in my car. You can't go wrong with this Kneaders location!
This was my first visit, BUT, it definitely won't be my last! I had a great breakfast sandwich, ham, egg and cheese on a fresh baked croissant. The coffee is fresh, hot and tastey! Don't even get me started on ALL the different fresh cookies and pastries. This was also one of the cleanest restaurants I've ever been in. This place takes pride in its products, it's food and it's employees. I have one word for Kneaders on Hardy Oak.......Mmmmmmm! Keep up the great work and I'll see y'all real soon.
We go to Kneaders frequently. Their bread, salads, sandwiches, soups, and pastries are always really good. It's one of our favorite lunch destinations.
Jason had great recommendations on the amazing food to try!! I had the pesto sandwich and fruit tart, which was super delicious!! I recommend checking this place out. They also sell freshly made bread there too
Absolutely love the all-you-can eat French Toast!!! Edit: The service is always great and with a smile. Come here a bit with my boys, and we've ALWAYS had a great experience!!
I wish I had taken photos of our food, because everything was so delicious! We stopped in on a Thursday night after a full day of moving to San Antonio. My husband and I were exhausted, but wanted something healthy and filling, so we hopped onto Yelp and found Kneaders! We arrived about 30 minutes before closing and were warmly greeted by Craig, one of the managers. He was so patient with us as we perused the menu since it was our first time here, and even suggested many menu items that all ended up being yummy! We ordered the Thai Cashew salad, the Southwest salad, and a cup of Tomato Basil soup - SO GOOD!! Craig went on to tell us that they bake their breads and pastries fresh daily, and that they even serve breakfast! We will definitely be back!!
Beautiful restaurant, great food, good service, quite pricey. My daughter said the cafe mocha was the best she has ever had. I enjoyed the turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich on focaccia (big enough to share). My son tore through the French dip. I guess you get what you pay for.
Good service and good food- good portions, reasonable price
Fantastic super friendly staff. Great delicious and fresh pastries. Definite must try. You will not be disappointed. Will definitely be back.
I ordered an eclair and a cinnamon roll with two coffees. Let’s just say the pastries didn’t disappoint. They were fresh, and very delicious. I’ll definitely be back again.
Great food. I'm a picky eater with some dietary restrictions and I was able to fully enjoy a meal that I only took one item off of. The salad I got (raspberry nut) was phenomenal, as was the bread (baguette) and the dessert (chocolate covered strawberry). Our food got there within ten minutes after ordering and the restaurant wasn't overly busy for a Saturday around noon. Would 100% recommend
I called in my order before I came because I was in a rush and they quickly prepared my order and even gave me a head start on my unlimited French toast. Incredible service and employees!
This place atmosphere is so homey and cozy loved it I can tell the owners add an extra touch of love to make the place so cozy .🥰 love the fireplace . I got a hot chocolate ☕️ and some broccoli cheddar soup 😌 I loved the hot chocolate and the soup was pretty good as well . They offer a wide variety of baked goods so definitely will come back to try some cheese cake 🍰 also the service was great very kind and I can tell the team is hard working. Lovely place to hang out , or to grab a quick bite ☺️❤️
Tasty food, reasonable pricing. Clean, cozy interior. A bit slow and probably understaffed.
Ordered the tarts to take to a dinner party and they were fantastic. The staff was fantastic and could not have had a better experience!
I heard about them through a FB page called SanAntonio Restaurants … I was way outside of my hood so I looked up cinnamon rolls and found Kneaders was about one mile away. It’s 0830 I had to get blood work done so I’m starving - they have a great easy to access drive through with the friendliest man taking my order- he was sunshine coming through the speaker! I ordered 2 cinnamon rolls and a ham, egg & cheese croissant- oh and a 16 Oz red eye, vanilla latte! I’m telling you - the cinnamon rolls was really delish! So first the flight was soft and buttery but not like a croissant but like you dream of in for your cinnamon roll- then the cinnamon was spread evenly throughout the roll not clumpy blobs of mess - I luv it when I get to the end of my roll and find out it was just as gorgeous and the middle❤️ the icing is perfect - not too sweet and not sloped all over the roll but just the right amount so I got a bit in every bite! It was magical❤️❤️❤️💃🏼 The latte was smooth and creamy so perfect! And the croissant breakfast sandwich was out of this world. REAL EGGS and cheese cooked exactly as they should be and a beautiful light and fluffy croissant full of all the beautiful, buttery goodness! They almost didn’t make it home! Def worth a try and just FYI, sometime this month- OCT- they are having a “Taste of Kneaders” event and it’s only 10$! Definitely a must! I can’t wait to taste their other items if these were an indication of what they offer❤️❤️❤️EXCELLENT! (The croissant didn’t make the photo shoot- I ate it all🙈🫢)
The food was fantastic. Our kids’ dreams came true with the free refill French toast PLUS they said it was the best French toast they had ever eaten….and they like their mama’s!! The salad was wonderful and the broccoli cheddar soup in the sourdough bread bowl? I could eat it every day!! The macaroni and cheese was also great and our little food connoisseur toddler approved even though it was more of a grown up tasting Mac and cheese! Now, the best part of the bakery was DEFINITELY the staff. The sweetest young woman, I believe her name was Marilyn, was so great. I was watching her work the counter, the drive through, taking the trashes, and attending customers all with a smile on her face! She was so sweet and courteous. When we are back in San Antonio this will be a go to! ❤️❤️❤️
I have tried their breakfast, sandwich, and pastries. OMG, best bakery in town!!! Items are always fresh and delicious! It’s like going to grandma’s LOVE LOVE LOVE
Ordered cinnamon rolls and oatmeal cookie on Saturday and had it delivered.. was very disappointed because all i taste was cream cheese… not sure if it was slathered over top or I received the wrong order.. could not eat them… the oatmeal cookie was buttery.. ***updated- *** JUNE 8th I emailed the company and corresponded with someone who really cared about their products and gave exceptional customer service , i was given a gift certificate which was added to the app and the person really took the time to remedy the situation. Very satisfied!!! Thank you
I go here once a week for the turkey bacon avocado on focaccia bread and tomato soup. Love it!!
Great bakery foods, souls and salads, and smoothies. Did I say baked goods!? Only issue is that there is a wait no matter if there’s no cars or people in line. Never a quick ordering experience. But this is true of any Kneaders no matter the state location
I’ve been to Kneaders a handful of times at this point. It’s a sweet, little cafe. They had removed my sandwich from the menu, last year I believe. The time prior to this, I tried to have the sandwich recreated but I don’t think I got all the ingredients right. This visit, I explained how I used to love this sandwich that was removed from the menu (the turkey artichoke panini) and was wanting to see if that could still be made. The person taking my order expressed they knew exactly what I was referring to and could make it, but they didn’t have artichoke at this time, which was perfect (because I always said “minus artichoke” anyway). I ordered it with a mango tango smoothie, my go to. Ugh, it was the best lunch. I’m a very happy camper. I mean, just look at it!
This is a beautiful little café with really sweet people inside giving excellent service. The food is very good. I've had the Reuben and the turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich. Both are yummy. The broccoli-cheddar soup is also very good. Check out the pastries as well, they're delicious! We definitely recommend this place.
Imagine Panera, Atlanta Bread Co., or Cosi .... but so much better! The menu is smaller, but the food is so much fresher and just delicious! It's a chain, but feels a lot less commercial than those other places. They also have a drive thru. We will be coming here a lot from now on!
I don't know why it has taken me so long to visit this cozy neighborhood cafe! The menu offers a plentiful selection of soups, salads, and sandwiches without being too overwhelming. The bakery case has something for everyone. Need a quick gift? Kneaders has you covered. You can create a custom gift basket to brighten someone's day.
Best sourdough bread ever!!! A friend and I stopped for coffee and a pastry ...both were excellent. They were busy but the gentleman that helped us was on top of things!!! He brewed a fresh pot of coffee and then brought it to our table. The lady that makes the gift baskets was also very, very nice!!!! I love Kneaders! Wish there was a location closer to my home, but worth the drive.
I didn't have a great experience with my first Kneaders takeout, and was given a credit to use. I went in person and had a GREAT Thai salad and some yummy, moist gluten friendly chocolate cake. 😋 Thanks for the opportunity to come try again!
Did you know Kneaders does tastings and events? When with Husband to enjoy ourselves on pumpkin sassing. Hostess was wonderful, food was abundant! Til soo much home. Check out events on eventbrite and go by for the French toast in weekends!
Delicious pastries, reasonably priced, friendly employees. Went to find a pastry a coworker of mine had been in search of, was advised via social media this was the place to find it. They were right !! “Find my pastry” I purchased cinnamon roll for my husband, looks great. I had the mini raspberry tart absolutely delightful! Also the raspberry croissant- light and flaky. The “raspberry rolls” were behind me and I was so excited to have discovered them after I didn’t spit them in the showcase. Cannot wait to return and try the French toast !
Kneaders consistently delivers exceptional food and boasts a professional team. It's my favorite spot for a quick meal, and it has never let me down. From the bread and desserts to the variety of food options, everything is phenomenal. Plus, their all-you-can-eat French toast is a must-try; it's among the best I've ever tasted.
3/20/23 Honestly, I enjoyed the sandwich, but at $12, it seemed a bit pricey for just a sandwich alone. It tasted fare but seemed easily like something i could've made at home. I am was curious about the other sandwiches but didn't feel like it was something I wanted to rush back to immediately to revisit. But if you're on the go without a meal and want to avoid fast food, it seems like a good choice rather than. If you have the means and not the time, why not. Update 5/1/23: I dropped by again late this afternoon and tried the Turkey Bacon Alvocado Sandwich. It tasted soo good. Also tried the Chocolate Dome for dessert. It was a nice moment for the day because I had a little down time before my next job at work. So I took my food outside and just kicked back and enjoyed the moment to myself. I look forward to trying another sandwich soon when I'm in the area again. I forgot to thank the cashier for helping me with the app. I haven't used it before, and she took the time to show me how to redeem the dessert I received for signing up. 7/17/23 the price still hurts my feelings, but the Club Sandwich tasted great, worth the price. 12/4/23 I tried the Turkey Alvocado and Bacon sandwich. It wasn't bad, i liked the focaccia bread a lot, but I wasn't excited about the light amount of turkey, and the bread was a bit tough. But the following day, I tried again and purchased the Chicken, Cheese, and Ham Sandwich w Parmesan Chips, and although it was less than the previous sandwich, it was much better. The only thing is, again, the bread was tough.
Nice variety of entrées for the menu and so many different desserts! I especially love the all cinnamon bread that has no raisins or other fruit in it! These pictures do the sandwiches no justice because they tasted so much better than they look even though they look amazing! 8/10 coming back in the future!
This location usually has pretty good service and we love their food especially their seasonal breads. Their sandwiches are well constructed and tasty. Smoothies are also good. Could earn one more star by improving their service at the drive through which has sometimes been a bit slow and not as friendly as I usually expect.
Love the homemade brioche French toast with infused cinnamon. Was a little tough the last time we went. Both the bacon egg and cheese and bacon egg and sausage crescents are really good. Delicious black forest ham. Best around! Very flavorful sausage and home made cressoints. Good size too!
This is one of the places, where desserts and some breakfast items are simple and delicious. Unfortunately this place is focus for preparing food to go. You can order for here, of course. But serving food and drinks in disposable dishes, uncomfortable tables, lack of music - everything seems to hint to you to eat your food faster and leave. I think this cafe is missing its potential. There are not many places in San Antonio, in addition to the downtown, where you can go with friends to have a delicious meal and have a good time. Perhaps in the future the owners will figure out how to attract more audience, because the location and premises allow you to make a cozy atmosphere in the cafe.
I really like this place. The planet peaches smoothie is my favorite item here and the soups I've tried have been amazing. The sandwiches are good but I've found the produce they use on them sometimes isn't very fresh and looks brown. The brownies are awesome too. I visit whenever I'm on that side of town. My only suggestion for them is to pay more attention to the quality of the produce served but overall it's good food and treats.
Very quaint eatery with a small shop, baked goods, soups, and sandwiches. I had the chicken salad on a croissant & broccoli cheese soup. The soup was good, but I thought the chicken salad was extremely salty, and that there were a few too many onions in the mix. I will try this place again, because I liked the atmosphere & the customer service. I'm hopeful the next thing I try will sway my opinion on the food. Plus, the fruit salad looked delicious & I want to give that a go.
Well, normally Kneaders hits the mark, but today they must have been understaffed or just a bit off their game. The drive through was very slow and someone forgot to put the cranberry sauce on the sandwich. Looks like they set the spoon on it for a second though. I trust that next time will be better. We all have off days.
Food was delicious, always is! The lemonade is also to die for. My only complaint is that I recently bought a loaf of fhe cinammon bread for the first time in a year and didn't remember what it was supposed to look like. It had ooey goey parts that were actually just raw (but I thought it might have been like the ooey gooey part of a cinammon roll?) Anyway, I didn't pay jt any mind and still ate the whole loaf throughout the span of a week. Sadly, I did contract salmonella from it (my fault honestly). So I'd just advice when you buy the loafs, if you see raw looking parts, don't eat it! Or eat around it! First time that's ever happened to me though I love the cinammon bread to bits and I'll still be buying it lol just be way more careful
Some of the best bakery goods I've had in a very long time. I recommend the chocolate chip cookies I know it sounds boring but there are some of the best chocolate chip cookies I think I've ever had. They use Brown butter! However the portions on their brownies were very wimpy. And for the price I was unimpressed in general. Everything was a little bit overpriced. But you get what you pay for everything is so delicious. And the staff is super professional and helpful.
Sandwich is fairly large, seems to have fresh ingredients good taste in the turkey, bacon with aguacate.
Nice that the drive through option is available during all business hours, we can swing by and pick up a fresh healthy meal anytime. The pastries and sweets are incredibly delicious and we usually grab a dozen or so of their sweets. I usually get the beef sandwich with broccoli and cheese soup and I highly recommend the brocolli and cheese soup.
They have really good coffee and food choices. We got breakfast this morning. 2 cinnamon rolls and chunky cinnamon french toast, and 2 coffees. I like the cinnamon french toast. The syrup is unique and pairs well. We were craving muffins but wish they had more of a selection of muffins. The restaurant is very clean and has a very nice comfortable feeling to relax and eat in. Staff was very helpful and friendly in going over some menu options.
I have been getting breakfast sandwiches at Kneaders for well over a year. The sandwiches are always good and the service has been excellent. I come through at least once a week and the Associates remember me by name and always remember to add my loyalty points without me asking. I’ve seen reviews about the prices. My viewpoint is the quality is far above other restaurant’s breakfast sandwiches, they are made fresh with real eggs (not weird yellow globs) so I believe the cost is fine. I highly recommend this location.
I've always used the drive through to pick up lunch or loaves, but today I needed a break, so I went inside. The staff was very friendly, however, I was shocked by how dirty it was! The floors, baseboards and the restroom looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long while. I understand we have hard water in San Antonio, but there are cleaners for that. And being a dining establishment, I'm sure I'm not alone when I say if the places where I CAN see are dirty, what does the kitchen look like where I CAN'T see? I'm sad, because their pumpkin cheesecake was so darn good! But I can't get over the lack of cleanliness in the dining room and restroom. Also, as a bakery, they frequently are sold out of the more popular loaves. Seems like they should have more of those according to demand. I was there around 4p, and they were sold out of at least 2 types of bread. OK, lunch rush. But they're open until 9:00 p.m. The Alamo Ranch location is always clean and well stocked, but too a far drive. If the cleanliness is addressed, I'll definitely come back. I'm too lazy to make my own sandwiches!
Nice bakery and cafe! Breakfast and bread is the winner here no doubt. Had the endless French toast plate which was terrific! Take home treats and bread are amazing in selection and quality. Went back a few days later for the Irish stew, which was…meh. It almost tasted frozen and reheated. The selection of drinks and sandwiches are large. They have a very unique gift basket creation station as well to purchase items, buy a basket and use their ribbon, cellophane and decorations that would make a terrific gift. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Location is great, prices are a bit high, but could be worth it depending on what you get. I would go back and try more stuff though.
We came here on May 1st hoping to get a late breakfast but it was exactly 11:00 and we were told they stop serving breakfast at 11:00. We ended up ordering lunch items and they were pretty good. The only negative was all of their sodas were flat. No fizz and their Power Aid was completely out. That station should have been better maintained.
Decent menu options and the food quality is fresh. Baked goods are the star here. Variety of bread and deserts are notable.
They've got good soups and sandwiches, but the desserts aren't great. It's definitely a little pricey for what you get as well, but no major complaints. Tomato soup and club sandwich is a great combo, definitely not a top option for me though.
Best for folks who enjoy early 60s music and missing sides. Both of which featured in our latest visit. Clerk insisted we didn't order sides, but was unwilling to show the receipt that supposedly didn't include the chips to go with our sandwiches. Unfortunately similar to our experience about a month ago. I think we'll start visiting other restaurants int the area going forward.
Nice and clean little cafe. Prices are a little high but still acceptable. Confused with their sourdough bread. You can smell the yeast in the bread which makes no sense to me since sourdough bread is supposed to be baked with sourdough starter and not yeast. That's actually a no go in the sourdough world. It basically just makes it a higher priced white bread 🤷🏼♀️ but still tastes good just not what I expected/ wanted. ******* Edit Dec 9th For some reason Google won't let me reply to Kneaders reply on my review, so here it is. That's interesting, since the yeast smell and taste is very strong in the bread. Please post the entire ingredient and nutritional facts for the French Country Sourdough. That would be helpful to understand what the yeast taste/smell could be caused by. Unfortunately I couldn't find ingredient lists on your website and only found allergen information. It's important to make ingredients public so people can be aware of what they eat. That should be easy accessible for customers.
This was my first time coming here. I've passed by several times and I was excited to finally be going to lunch here, with a friend. The menu is easy enough to navigate and when I couldn't find what I wanted, the cashier was very helpful. I ordered the Berry chicken salad with a broccoli cheese soup as a combo. At the counter they had the two different containers to give you a visual of regular and large size salads, which I appreciate. Our food was brought to our table which is a nice touch. I was dismayed that the salad dressing was a package of Kraft. If you're going to use that, even put it in a little souffle cup and make me think that it's homemade or something better than Kraft. The soup was served in a paper container and it was less than a lukewarm. In fact, the soup was quite thick like it hadn't been warmed up enough. That was true, there wasn't any warmth to it. The salad was tasty enough and would have been very good with a different quality salad dressing. The dining room had a nice ambiance and the noise level was good until one of the employees sat down with some friends and they got quite loud laughing and talking. I guess there is not a break room for employees. I felt the price was fair, slightly overpriced for the fact that I was served in paper and plastic with a plastic fork. For a couple bucks more, you could go down the street and be served on regular dishes with real silverware. Like I said, I was really looking forward to eating here, unfortunately I don't think I will be coming back.
2nd: We've ordered delivery from here several times now. The food has always been great, but unfortunately it seems to be slipping lately. The sandwiches are starting to get lighter on the ingredients. Our club sandwiches had a very thin piece of roast and ham neither covered either side of the bread and the chicken pieces were sparsely on the sandwich, they only put one swipe of mayo on each side and then if you actually want mayo on your sandwich you have to pay .65 cents for a small bowl. The eclair the last 2 times ordered, 1 out of the 3 ordered had no pastry cream inside, so you ended up with a dry pastry with chocolate on it. It was very disappointing. I originally gave them 5 stars but unfortunately since the sandwiches & eclairweren'tas goodI'mdown gradingit to 3 stars and hope the next time if we ordered again the problems will be resolved. 1st: We ordered the Club sandwich with the asiago cheese bread, and unsweet tea which tastes freshly brewed. It's delicious. Also tried their chocolate eclair also delicious they are full of the custard, you get some in each bite.
Went there for lunch ordered the French dip sandwich.. very little meat & cheese..mostly bread. For the cost they could have at least put a kosher pickle on the plate. Are with 4 if my sisters & no one was saying anything positive about their sandwiches.. if I ever go there again it would be for a desert..their pastries did look good..but as far as their sandwiches..boring, give me a pickle on the side at least. Very disappointed
Carrot cake is my favorite and my husband ordered some mini cakes for my birthday instead of having to make it myself. The presentation is very convenient, since we are only 3 people. The cakes were fresh and moist, however the taste of ginger was overpowering, it tasted more like spice cake than carrot cake. There was more icing than cake and the cream cheese icing was too sweet for my taste. I will come back to try something different the place looks nice and clean.
This was our first visit & based on reviews we were excited to try it. The place appeared clean and decor was simple. The young lady at the counter was new and had to ask her fellow employees for help working the register (no big deal waiting bc everyone has to learn). My issue here was instead of walking her through the order and process the young man she asked for help just showed her the button and walked away. He should have stayed w her but didn’t. She had to ask another employee for help on the second item (again not her fault). Training opportunity missed!! I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and let’s just say it had more chives than chicken. It was like they threw a bunch of chives in it and didn’t stir it up. I didn’t want to take it back bc I’m always afraid of what can be done to it (not saying they would do anything here). After I scraped as much of the chives out and gathered the chicken I could from other side I ate half of it and by the time I got home I was sick to my stomach. I don’t know if the salad was bad or my system just didn’t like a chive sandwich. My spouse ordered the cheese sandwich (added ham to it) and thought it was delicious. My point of leaving the review is so the owners can revisit the training opportunities & maybe also revisit food handling & storage. Their chicken salad was the only thing I ate and I was ill within less than an hour of consuming. I’m not saying don’t visit this restaurant I am just saying if u don’t like a bunch of chives in ur chicken salad & the possibility of an upset stomach don’t order the chicken salad. I will say the bread and desserts looked good but we didn’t order any dessert.
I’ve lived in San Antonio for years and have always heard great things about Kneaders. Finally made it to the location in the Stone Oak area. Started out fine with a gentleman opening and holding the door for me and extending a heartfelt good morning. Entered the building and it had a nice calming affect. Nice decor, plenty of signs about kindness and being a good neighbor. Signs are good, but how about extending some of that kindness to the customer. I was not greeted, no one asked if I needed assistance, it was like I was invisible. I wanted to just leave but those cinnamon rolls were too delicious looking to pass up. Finally, someone hastily took my order, no eye contact, no smile, no good morning. Then when I paid, they left the screen on for me to add a tip. Not happening. A good morning would have gotten you one. Lest one come away with the idea I am high maintenance, that is far from the case. It’s just when you have a plethora of signs about the establishment extolling kindness you expect some. Hopefully the pastries are good. UPDATE: The pastries were DELICIOUS!
I'm not the kind of person who complains about food places, but this is my second time getting my turkey bacon sandwich meal and no turkey inside my sandwich. I paid $20 for a meal and I got bacon and tomatoes basically.
The food was pretty mediocre, very little meat on my sandwich and the soup was tiny. Sandwich meal for 2 was over 26 dollars and we were left disappointed. During the dinner rush around 630 they were already well on their way to closing for the night. They were out of some soups and bread choices were limited. To top it off we must have caught the staff mid closing for the end of the day as all the kitchen mats were piled in a booth. Needless to say, this restaurant will not be on the top of my list in the area again.
Very friendly staff, but I was not a fan of the Chicken Croissant sandwich. I know this could be very subjective, so please don't let this keep you from trying this place. The sandwich did not have much flavor for me and was very salty. Half of salad was taken up with a large salad core that was covered up with salad. For almost $20 for a sandwich and smoothie, I had a higher expectation. With a temperature of 100 degrees outside, it would have been very refreshing to have cranberries and grapes added to the chicken salad, but again, that's one man's opinion.
The wait time for online ordering has got to be better. Waited for at least another 20 minutes for my order. Waited while the drive thru was faster. No apologies, no how can we do this better, would you like a free cookie? None of that in basic customer service. Do better.
Staff wasn't friendly or welcoming at all. One staff lady spoke and was kind in doing so. The rest act as if we weren't human. Just looked!! The food was too pricey for what was given. This was my 1st visit. I was invited by a coworker. She said they had good sandwiches. Well, my bread was hard and barely any meat on it. So I wasn't impressed. After seeing how staff was, with an awkward environment and the amount of food given. I won't be coming back. Unless it's to try them goodies I saw in the window....
Horrible service, waiting to order some baked goods, just asked if I had questions so I said no just waiting to order and that was it, nobody asked what I wanted just stared at me. I do not recommend this place at all, also the fruit on the tarts looked wilted when it says fresh fruit on the sign
I love Kneaders, but my recent experience with them has definitely been tarnished. I placed a pre-order for a few items, including a specific pie, more than a week in advance. When I went to pick up my order the day after Thanksgiving, I was told they ran out of the pie I ordered. I ordered that pie for a special reason (in advance), and they did not come through for me. The staff couldn't have been more questionable. I'm pretty sure the person helping at the register was high, as they struggled to remain present during my transaction. When I arrived, I also ordered a few things from the pastry options and waited more than 10 minutes before someone grabbed it for us. There was no line, so I'm not sure why we had to wait that long for a premade cookie. Kneaders, you let me down this time, and I was incredibly disappointed. I won't be ordering with y'all for a while.
I go down but today they ran out of every coffee, when I told them an employee blew me off! Hardy Oak location was a disappointment. I waited patiently for it and was finishing my sandwich when I bit into an eggshell! I hate to have to go to Starbucks & Mc Dolnalds every morning but, I guess me and my family will have to.
Avoid! Slow as Christmas and it takes an act of Congress to get mustard from behind the counter, no packets. Overpriced by a mile. Weak tea too. Few customers, wait is painful. Register guy hunts and pecks then thinks and looks before keying anything in. Overall, a D- and waste of time! After first waiting 7 minutes for mustard, I went and asked and cashier said “yeah, getting it now”, then cook filled up small container, threw it on counter and smartly said”here’s your mustard!”. Pathetic!
I've never been here before, but I came in with a $10 gift card. When I ordered the pastrami on rye, I was expecting the kind of sandwich you see featured in those New York delis on TV; a mountain of thinly sliced meat bursting at the edge. What I got was a heroin-chic sandwich with one layer of pastrami on un-toasted bread. The only flavors I experienced was the mustard, mayo, lettuce and tomato - a salad by any definition. The drink fountain needed to be checked because it wasn't dispensing the correct amount of flavored syrups in ratio to the carbonated water. Will I return? Probably, but with a gift card worth $20.
The lady with glasses doing the drive thru and bringing food out in the lobby was very rude she needs better people skills I highly recommend the boss here look into her she made the place very uninviting wont be coming back here
Food was great but I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome. I think it was the manager she was making baskets. She was very friendly to other customers and speaking Spanish. Not a word was ever spoken to me. I am white. She walked around a greeted others and yet nothing was said to me. I live down the street. I won’t come back.
I should’ve known when I pulled in the parking lot at 1 PM during lunchtime and the parking lot was empty, but McDonald’s right next-door was so busy…that this place would not be good but I gave it a chance anyway. I originally went in for a bagel because I searched bagels near me and this was the first place that came up. I came inside. Ask the lady if they had bagels she told me no so I went ahead and ordered a turkey sandwich I should’ve just went to McDonald’s instead.!!! Eeeeeeyuck!!!!!!!! Also, 14 bucks for a sandwich is robbery! Never coming back! no wonder why everybody in Stone Oak was at McDonald’s instead of kneaders bakery right next-door that’s saying a lot!
Went here today for the first time and it will be the last time! Food is 100% overly priced for the amount you get in comparison to what you pay. I got the chicken pesto sandwich that hardly had any chicken! For the sandwich & a cup of soup I paid $18. It took 25 minutes to get our food. I had higher expectations by the looks of restaurant itself and hoped it would be decent. Highly DO NOT recommend eating here! Unless you like very little food that’s overpriced.
