First time eating here it was good. I will have to try more of the options available. My wife and I ate the Guacamole hamburger special that was posted. I also got a strawberry shake 😋. The shake was great!

Great, unique food at fair prices. Everything was served piping hot and fresh. The burgers were absolutely huge. You have to get your snake mouth on so you can detach your bottom jaw to be able to bite into one of those bad boys! We also had shakes, beers, pina coladas, root beers, everything was fantastic. Kind of a dumpy part of town. I wish that they would move more towards us in Cibolo. But other than that great experience.

Service was great and the burgers were better! I had the special Chipotle raspberry burger and hubby had the Shack. Both were meaty, flavorful and juicy. Kiddo liked the mini corn dogs and the fries and onion rings were crunchy and delicious.

A hidden gem on the northeast side. Huge portions, tasty food, and fantastic service. The only cons are the AC inside is a bit stuffy. We tried 3 different soft drinks but all three tasted like they didn't have enough syrup/carbonation. The parking lot is HORRENDOUS! Use extreme caution ⚠️. Other than that, I'll still give it a 5 star because everything was made with Love. Abuelitas mexican shake 😋 wow. Buffalo chicken fries, mexican dog, tater tots, and frito pie all SLAPPED!

Husband and I each had burgers which were excellent. The fries were very good and I had the tots with nacho cheese on them. The tots definitely need cheese or other topping since they aren't seasoned as another reviewer mentioned. The price was $35 for 2 cheeseburgers (husband got the fiesta burger), fries, cheese topped tots, and a Mexican coke. Was a bit warm and humid inside so that's why 4 stars on atmosphere. Would definitely come again.

First time visit. I hade the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. My daughter had the macho burger. It was so big she couldn't finish it. Fries were really good the tea was fresh she got tater tots with hers also very good.

The Shack is a hidden gem in San Antonio! Don’t let the unassuming plaza location fool you - these burgers are incredible. The Angus beef patties are juicy and full of flavor, easily some of the best burgers I’ve had. Great food, great vibe - definitely worth the stop if you’re craving a top-notch burger.

I am not sure how long the restaurant has been open, but it's newish. While I was in the parking lot waiting on my friend to show up, they had a steady stream of customers. FYSA, the parking lot is a deep pot hole mine field so pay attention when driving. If not you will be over at Firestone getting your car fixed! Back to the review, we were greeted when we walked in and you can order at a kiosk or in person. I chose the person because I wanted to ask questions. The burgers are customizable and they have some good signature burgers to choose from also. They also have sandwiches, hotdogs, and other delicious things. I opted for the regular cheeseburger with fries. A strawberry and cucumber aqua fresca to drink. The drink itself is a great value for $4.00, because of the size. My friend ordered the macho burger with grilled jalapeños and onion rings. Her drink was a watermelon aqua fresca. They provide table service so we had a seat. The food arrived quickly and we were excited to dig in. The burgers are good and we were greatly satisfied. The portions sizes are big so be prepared. It is a good value for the buck. I enjoyed my fries but be advised you may need to add salt to them. My friend had to do the same to her onion rings. Just something to keep in mind. Overall, we will be back for another burger and maybe even a funnel cake, yes they have funnel cake. if I am not too full.

Husband had the Dorinachos, he didn't care for the corn on them so I ate them. They were a little soggy by the time I finished my bacon burger, but they were really good. Husband ate my onion rings that were really good as well. Kids had chicken strips (my 11yr old is very picky on his chicken items) and he loved them. Other kid had the cheese burger plain with ranch and he loved it as well. Hamburger was not greasy, buns had a great flavor. One of the best real burgers I've had in a while in San Antonio, and it's not far from our house (15 minutes). Definitely be back.

I found this spot on accident searching for burgers near me. And let me tell you, I was NOT disappointed! I am SO glad I found this hidden gem! This place is exceptionally clean, has a bar, lots of spots to sit, and the staff and atmosphere is incredible! The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly and being a clean freak, oh my gosh, super clean and attentive to the dining areas. I picked up the bacon burgers with tots, and onion rings. Also had the Oreo churro and cheese fries. Every single thing was absolutely delicious! Those buns though! Fire!! Everything was fresh and delicious. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Large portions too! Do NOT skip on this place! The best places are hidden, this is one of them! I am super picky about foods and I had zero complaints. I will 100% be back again! Oh and forgot to mention… the Oreo churros. Sweet Jesus!! To. Die. For!!!! Get them!!! So delicious!!

Place was clean, I mean spotless. I put my red tray down at the bus station and went back to grab the rest of my trash, it was already cleared by the time I got back. Food didn’t take long, was super fresh and hot. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with tots, my boyfriend got whichever burger comes with bbq stuff on it with onion rings. The toppings and the bun were great! The patty itself was cooked properly, could’ve used more seasoning but the toppings made up for it and both were very good. We wanted to try the sweets but were absolutely stuffed by the time we finished. Price was great, about the same as a fast food combo now n days. Looking forward to trying more food soon

One of the few places I will genuinely regular! Don't let the exterior appearance throw you off, interior is done amazing, food is incredible, staff are just great! Burger was cooked perfectly, bun is toasted perfectly to not become soggy. Fries wonderfully crisp and even 10 minutes into eating remained crisp. I paid roughly $24 for a Jalapeño Popper Burger, Fries, big shake, included 20% Tip. Prices are fantastic for both the quality and quantity of food. I'm a big guy and I had to take the shake to go. And they have a rewards program! UPDATE Been showing up for a while now. And I can genuinely say I've never even been slightly disappointed. From staff to good every aspect of this restaurant has amazed me. I'll be coming here still the day I die. They deserve so much more attention !

We decided to try this place out on our way home from the Wildlife Ranch. I am so glad we did. The buns are fresh made and slightly sweet. The variety of burgers, dogs, sides, desserts, and drinks is outstanding. The staff is very friendly and really attentive. Don't sleep on this place!!

Group visit for lunch. Ordering at the counter. Order was accurate and there were no issues with it. Food was good and overall the consensus was it would be a do again but it was not over the top. Milkshakes were excellent and the dining area was a bit loud for conversations across the table.

The food was fantastic! I love Philly cheesesteaks and this place has a bomb selection of burgers, hot dogs, and more! There open til 10 and it’s easy to find!

This place came highly recommended. We visited @2pm on a Saturday. It was very busy. It took 55min to get our food (2 burgers, my wife's onion rings and my fries). But we didn't have anywhere to be so, no biggie. The fries and onion rings weren't homemade, but alot of places are like that so, no biggie. They didn't ask us how we would like our burgers (well/medium well, etc.), but a lot of places are like that so no biggie. The bun was really good and the bacon was cooked perfect and tasted great. The veggies were not supper fresh, but they were fine. However, the patty itself was over-cooked and dry (even for well done), and had very little flavor. The meal was a little under $40. We usually give places another try before we write them off, so we will be giving it another shot. Right now it's an ok place that I wouldn't really brag about... but we'll see.

For the first time here with a 4.8 review. I thought this would be great place to get a Philly steak but It was not definitely a 4.8 sandwich. For the price, it was proportionately small. The meat tasted old stale raunchy meat without no flavor. I also ordered half tots and fries, they gave me counted fries & totes. It seemed like they ran out and gave me the last crumps in the bottom of the bag. The atmosphere felt like they gave up and let the store run by itself. It would be my first and last time am ever coming by and definitely won't be falling for those reviews. We'll, at least the register person was friendly and engaging.
