Viva Vegeria has delicious food that leaves you full and feeling good. I really love this restaurant because of the amazing taste in every menu item, the healthiness, and how good the food makes you feel. My favorite menu items have been their classic nachos, soft tacos, BBQ tacos, and pozole. Their agua frescas are really good too. I can’t wait to try everything on the menu.

We hit this place inve a year on our trip grim east to west. A beautiful little spot! Porch area is perfect. Great vibes! Parking is good for vans. Food was AMAZING. This place is a vegan/gluten free restaurant!! The nachos with kimchi on top - mind-blowing! As were the spinach and kale tamales!!

I had only been here once before, in 2018, but have never forgotten how delicious the food was and how kind and welcoming the staff were back then. I finally got to go back today and everything was just as I remembered! A lovely atmosphere from the server, Hugo (I hope I got that right!), who was very sweet and attentive, to the young lady who rang me up and was super friendly and filled up my water bottle for me before I left. I can’t wait to come back again next time I’m in San Antonio.

I’ve come here so many times I’ve forgotten to leave a review. It’s delicious every time, service is incredible, the vibe is great, the food is home-y, love love love the picadillo nachos, tacos al carbon, all enchilada varieties, the flautas, omg the beans are so goooood! To top it off the specials make eating a tasty gluten-free vegan meal affordable! In this economy? This place is a gem.

I have ate here multiple times with my family. We really enjoy the ambiance here. The staff is always very friendly and kind. The food is even more amazing. We’ve tried a couple of different plates and we’re never disappointed. The aguas frescas are just as good not overly sweet at all. They even have tamales by the dozen, pre ordered a day before and prepaid, I think that’s awesome. I will have to put in an order for some soon! This is such a great vegan Mexican food place. Stop by and you will not be disappointed.

Truly enjoyable HOMEMADE “Tex Mex” (although the authorities in my life say it’s authentic toward the Mex side). DELICIOUS. Hugo was excellent & attentive, the paintings indoors are lovely, and the remaining staff were very friendly. We tried multiple things but the Vegan Nachos’ photo came out best.

Such a yummy place, felt like I was being fed by abuelita and or tios/tias who knew how to cook vegan. The vibes are so cozy and familiar. I thought the kale/spinach enchiladas wouldn’t be that great but mannn the salsa made it soo good would for sure get it. The probiotic/luchadora nachos were so good and healthy. And of course the bbq cauliflower tacos were amazing. The price is so reasonable which can be hard with vegan food, so that was much appreciated. Will def be back

This place was BEYOND my expectations. I live in Austin but was in town for the day and craving some yummy Mexican food. Me and my friend ordered the picadillo nachos, al pastor tacos and the chicken flautas and I can’t even pick which one was my favorite. The portions are generous and you end up feeling like you’re floating on air after your meal. Just heavenly. The salsas are also superb. I really can’t rave about this enough. As a Latina, this is easily one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve had and I’m so glad it’s plant-based and full of insane flavors. Also, the service is spectacular and everyone is so kind!

A must visit location in San Antonio! Everything exceeded expectations and was delicious! Recommend ordering the tamales 48 hours in advance. My personal favorite was ….. all of it! Do yourself a favor and make the trip. We traveled from Yakima Washington for this lunch and it was absolutely worth it. To top it all off, the staff was also very accommodating. Enjoy!

This is a little hidden gem. The parking lot is kinda small but they have LOTS of seating inside and outside. Great atmosphere and vibes. Food was so good. Everything was uniquely tasty. Waitress was friendly and quick with service. The cauliflower wings were awesome and so was the nachos. Be careful with the papas rancheros they are spicy!!! I can’t wait to go back here. Priced well also. Great spot for friends. Thanks for the great work VV I’ll be back.

Came here as a party of five and the service was wonderful! I ordered the Al Pastor tacos which were quite good. I think they were up to the standard of a normal Al Pastor taco! I think the food is reasonably priced, but the portions are a bit small. Only thing is I wish they had desserts :(
