Amazing place. Try the lion bowl for sure- 100%!! Everything else is great too. Including the amazing ambiance and wonderful staff. We went in the afternoon at an odd time and couldn't say enough good things about food and the place.

Good tasteful food. Quantity is barely enough and may need to order more. Close to downtown and attractions. Area appeared to be quite dated and a abandoned.

So excited that the fabulous Cafe Dubai has opened up in the Lone Star District. The chef/owner, Lion, takes great pride in all the dishes served. Everything is prepared with care and you can taste that extra love is sprinkled into all the food. We love everything but I have to say the made from scratch falafel served here are what dreams are made of. Both times we've eaten here, the server has been attentive and made sure we had everything we needed/wanted. And when chef stops by our table, the twinkle in his eye speaks to the passion the food is made with. 😋 Five stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 all day, every day.

I highly recommend this place if you love Mediterranean food! The food is really good, the atmosphere is chill and the staff is friendly. This might actually be the most affordable Mediterranean restaurant in all of SA. The prices are affordable. It is located on the south side, not developed or new looking. Don’t let the neighborhood scare you, it might look rough, but it’s actually really safe. This is a chicken shawarma plate. I also got a hot tea because traditionally that’s how Arabs do it after eating a meal, they drink a hot tea.

This will be our date day place. Peaceful/ relaxing even when there are other people here. Food love it!

Let me put you on this place! We got the combination plate with humus, a cheeseburger, and a gyro. When I tell you everything we ordered was DELICIOUS, the food was fresh and warm. Once we were done the owner made us a baklava dubai chocolate banana split. I've never had dessert like that ever. 100000/10 I recommend this place. The service was amazing and the food was to die for!

Last Saturday, December 20, 2025, we visited Café Dubai in San Antonio, Texas for the first time with our entire family for dinner. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Everyone enjoyed the food—while each of us had different preferences for the dishes, overall the quality, taste, and presentation were very good. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service made our family dinner even more enjoyable. If you’re visiting San Antonio and looking for halal Mediterranean food, Café Dubai is definitely a great option. We would happily visit again.

everything we tried was honestly amazing. We started with the fresh bread, hummus, and baba ghanouj, which were all incredibly flavorful — the kind of appetizers that make you slow down just to enjoy every bite. For the main dishes, we ordered a gyro wrap and the kefta kebab. Both tasted authentic, seasoned perfectly with just the right amount of spice, and served fresh. The flavors were bold but balanced, and you could tell everything was made with care. Overall, it was a delicious experience from start to finish — fresh ingredients, authentic taste, and dishes that really hit the spot. I’ll definitely be coming back.

I'm glad and greatful to finally have one real HALAL restaurant here in san antonio that only serves halal and REAL HIGH QUALITY FOOD! the customer service? Man it feels like a family member is hosting you for lunch/dinner both the sister and the chef/the guy that works there, were so welcoming!.. big smile always there, calmness, Quran is playing and that's to me the BIGGEST gem in this treasure like place, the food was and taste like and looks like and for sure feels like 100% from scratch. Ive never said this cuz fries were hardly ever a part of my reviews but here I had definitely the BEST FRENCH FRIES I HAVE EVER HAD IN A RESTAURANT, and if not the best then one of the best kabobs I've ever had too. The pizza was well made with love and had high quality of cheese, Arayes top were super crunchy and well balanced. Everything literally Everything was 10/10! The welcomed us with some hummus and ghanouje that I forgot to take a photo of but it makes u forget about all hummus and ghanouje you have ever had! With a touch of real EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL that I can tell its genuineness, im already so eager to back already just to thank them again and enjoy that food and help this buisness stay in our lovely san antonio! Baraka Allah in these real good people🤍🙏 I WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK REAL SOON!

Do not judge a book by its cover, i went in there hesitating cause the area seems shady but I wish I could visit again. This place is a hidden gem with some of the best Mediterranean flavors I’ve ever had. The hummus and baba ghanoush were absolutely outstanding — so creamy, rich, and full of flavor. Truly some of the best I’ve tried anywhere. We also ordered the chicken kabob with rice, the ground beef kabob with rice, and the gyro, and everything was delicious. The rice deserves a special mention — soft, aromatic, and perfectly cooked. To top it off, their Turkish tea is a must-try! It was so good we actually grabbed two bigger cups on our way home. Not to mention we also ordered their birria tacos and those are the best birria tacos me and my husband ever had! What made the experience even more special was the peaceful atmosphere. They were playing beautiful Qur’an recitation in the background, which created such a calm and welcoming vibe — something I really appreciated as a Muslim.

We really enjoyed the food! Everything from the mango smoothie to the royal feast was super tasty. We ordered extra bread with hummus and babaganoush which were the best we've had!! It was enough to share between 2 people. They are very friendly and the place has a nice vibe! Will come back!

I love the atmosphere. It is very peaceful and almost spiritual. The food tastes great and there is a wide variety of choices! I recommend to my friends and eat here a couple times a week.

After reading the reviews I decided to stop at Dubai Cafe for dinner. I ordered the kids tender meal, chicken Shawarma and beef shawarma. I was in and out in 10 minutes! The food was so good that we dove in before I could take photos. The plates had good portions. The hummus and Jerusalem salad were delicious. The chicken and beef were good, but I felt the beef had better flavor. The garlic sauce was also a great add on for more flavor. Overall very happy with the meal and price.

Highly Recommended!!!!! The kababs burgers and tacos were awesome!!! Service is great and the overall experience was incredible. Must try. I wish we had a place like this in Chicago. And the Owner is the most coolest and nicest person you will meet.
