After having a dismal experience at the original Whataburger in Corpus Cristi sometime ago I found myself in “The San Benito Whataburger Store” and the food, service, and experience made me feel welcomed and appreciated the food and experience all around. The Whataburger workers at that location were on point and next level.

First time in Texas, so I had to try it. The food tasted great and the staff was extremely attentive. Very unexpected for a fast food restaurant.

Always enjoy the burgers. Compared to other Whataburgers, I always get less fries here. One time I got half of the once pictured. Edit: Service is getting slow in the dine in. Seems that the focus is drive thru and curbside. The part two times I've been here the tables are not clean. Added a picture of the "grilled onions". Manager need to do a better job.

I order a buffalo ranch chicken strip sandwich during its promotion and by the time I get home away about 12 miles I got a barbecue chicken strip sandwich and I was really disappointed… my experience inside the store, is that so many people were just talking and I feel like they don’t pay attention to what I want, but yet I didn’t want to doubt myself like "oh they won’t mess up my order" however they just did. This is by far the worst Whataburger I've ever been to. They consistently mess up my orders or forget items. It's frustrating that this is the only location near me. Today, my husband placed an order through the app, and they took forever to prepare it. When he got home, my wings were missing, so we had to go back. When they finally gave them to us, they were cold. Save yourself the time and money—avoid this place!

Placed a curbside order and the app said it would be ready between 7:18 - 7:21. After 7:40 passed I just called to get a refund. But when you call to get the refund they ask so much information about you, it's clear they're just selling the info to make up for the refund loss you request. I would recommend doing a charge back if you encounter an issue.

25 minutes for fast food, is ridiculous

Slow service waited 10 minutes in line to try to give my order saw the line of people waiting to grab their orders. Decided to leave went through an exit lane, but no that lane was blocked by people waiting for them to bring them their orders. There should be a line where there’s an exit line not waiting for people to get the orders that they ordered online. Those should be in parking spaces numbered 1234 etc. not in a line to exit their parking lot.

Worst customer service ever , only wanted to upsize my drink like I’ve always done and the crew member said “ I will not be doing that” , if they don’t know how to use the system then take them off , YOU SATISFY THE CUSTOMER. Not y’all’s selves

Do not spend your points for rewards at this Whataburger. Managers encourage employees to not bag free food. 90% of the time, we get jipped out of our rewards because they keep the food for themselves Update: 7 months later they are still doing it, even with whole burgers. I got a patty melt and a cinnamon roll. As I was eating the cinnamon roll I felt something really hard on my teeth I thought I broke a tooth, but instead it was a piece of glass that was inside of the cinnamon roll I was eating so I didn't even eat the patty melt and I will never eat there again

I went to Whataburger a week ago about 6:30 AM. I ordered my breakfast sandwich. The lady forgot to give me my debit card back. I did not realize it until that evening going back to work. I went by there and picked up my credit card or debit card and it was damaged . I tried to use my debit card the next day and it was damaged. I could not use my debit card at all I had to call the bank. They checked it and they said it is damaged and they had to send me a new card that was a brand new card. I had just received that card a month ago and it was bent like someone tried to fold it and it had little dots on it like it had been put on a staple machine. . This has prevented me from paying my bills on the 14th of this month. The black strip has little dots all over it. It may be hard to see. I had to order a new card.

I love the food at Whataburger but service needs a lot of work. This morning I went to get a Breakfast on a bun for my daughter. The wait on drive-through was lengthy for only two vehicles on line. I got to the window was charged for the meal, given the drink and no food was handed to me. I had to use my horn to get someone to the window, another young man shows up and after proving I had already paid but did not receive my food only the drink, he went and I guess put my order in, another wait of 5 minutes or more, he came and gave me the food. So sad that this is the service I get in my little home town in San Benito. With only two vehicles in line. Boy they need much training in better service.

Why does Whataburger offer FREE FOOD? They continue never keep up with the demand. All it does is IRITATE AND AGGRAVATE the consumer. As punishment i am going to spend my money next door with their COMPETITOR. Sorry Whataburger. Just don't offer free stuff and offer FAIR PRICING on your regular meals.
