This is my first time here and my husband took me to lunch. I got the mushroom cheesesteak with wiz and he got the Philly cheese steak with sauteed onions and peppers and he also got an order of cheese fries for me to try again for it being my first time I rate it five stars it is a clean environment the food was absolutely amazing the service was fast and I can only have the sandwiches so big definitely if you're in San Clemente I recommend you come and try this place
This place was great. The cheesesteak I had was just what I was hoping for. I got my philly the way I like it: whiz cheese, onions, muchrooms, and hoagie spread. The staff was very polite and quick to take my order. They also have hoagie spread and Tasty Cakes for sale here too.
We really love coming here!! The food is really good and the service is really fast/ nice!! I grew up in PA so it brings the nostalgia back! They are perfect for takeout too, which is what we do. The photos are of the chicken hoagie, south Philly salad, pizza chicken, and the Cheesesteak fries. They never disappoint!! ❤❤❤🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
Cheesesteak hoagie for dine in was excellent. I’ve been to pretty much every cheesesteak place in OC and this one doesn’t disappoint. It’s also cleaner than some of the other more dive places such as in Costa Mesa at Frank’s. I’ve ordered delivery from here before but eating in was MUCH better. The fact that they open so early at 9:30am is awesome and there were a fair number of early customers there at that time as I was. Tips: - Ask for mayo on the bread on your cheesesteak. It tastes better that way. - Provolone cheese here is the best - You can add various other things like raw onions and condiments at no additional cost - Don’t miss the free pickle and pepper bar tucked into the back of the place I’ll be back.

Best CheeseSteak I've had. The bread is what makes a truly great sub makes it so amazing and They have theirs shipped all the way for the East Coast. The staff at the San Clemnte location are super helpful, welcoming and accommodate anything. **CheeseSteak Hoagie w/ lite mayo and hots on the side.**
This place is super yummy. The staff was super helpful, friendly and fantastic. Go there! You won’t be disappointed. All my kids loved their food.
I'm the kind of guy who likes stuffing my face with greasy shredded steak, cheese, and grilled onions on a soft hoagie into my mouth. My girlfriend enjoyed her salad and thick cut fries. We'll be back. Definitely!
I am mexican and love my tacos, but After having a cheesesteak sub With mushrooms and peppers with mustard and ketchup, I was sold. I know now how delicious they are ,definitely recommended.
Great Philly Cheesesteak. Second time eating here and two years later it still tastes great. Everyone enjoyed it. They cook em’ with the cheese melted in a Amoroso Roll which makes the bread nice and soft. If I’m ever in Dana Point, this is a must.

They messed up my order and the manager reached out after my review as you can see in the comment. I texted and they made it right. This is very uncommon that a restaurant actually comes through and rectifies their error. Much appreciated!
One of the best cheesesteaks ever... So damn good.. And even more underrated You gott try the burger!!!! Oh it is so good! I was helped by the most lovely Hispanic lady, Susie. She was so kind and patient despite my hanger... (Very sorry again susie!) I gave her a huge personal tip of 20$ for being so kind. I can't wait to see her again, gota big order

Pepperoni Cheese steak WITH onions. Today was the 6th time they failed to put onions on it. I even repeated myself because it sounded like the guy said no onions when repeating it back to me and he said ya with onions. They had my name as Ryan. Yet still no onions when I opened it up at home. Not sure if all these mistakes are from new employees or what. There was one gentleman and 1 woman working at around 2:15pm Aug 16, 2017.

Well, I use to really enjoy going there, but with covid it made it not so easy. Living and eating in this area is a treasure, but today I called to see if they still had there 550, Not happening " so I was schooled by a very not so nice person. Maybe they didn't need the business 🤔

Couple things….first the food is great but if you order on the Google maps the prices are more expensive. In store it’s $11.49 but on here it is $14. That’s extremely annoying. Second and the worst. I saw them pick up cook fries with bare hands. Thankfully someone called the person out and they put gloves on. So thankfully that person called them out. But still come on!!!
I can't believe I paid this much money for this! The cheese steak tasted like it was reheated in the microwave and the french fries tasted days old. I ordered french fries with cheese sauce. The cheese sauce came in a small container. The french fries are not even edible because they are so hard and cold.
Been going to this location for years and always enjoyed. But, it appears there was an ownership change and prices were raised significantly along with portions being reduced. Food quality also seemed to have deteriorated well below prior visits. With elevated prices PB is not a great value at >$70 for family of four. Unfortunately we won’t be returning (Jersey Mikes has higher quality and is a better value IMO).
