Great burger. Great Service!
Came to the Pier on a cold day in December 2024 and it was nice seeing this Pier serving hot chocolate! Wasn't the greatest hot chocolate but wasn't the worst. Just having it made us feel warm and good!
Just wish they were open sooner. Friendly staff, very accommodating and great food to consume while fishing or just walking the pier. Love this little place...
This is the best small restaurant in San Clemente! Nobody has the Views or the vibe of having a good meal at the end of the Pier! Take a walk out and enjoy the best San Clemente has to offer! Great food and friendly people. This is a really great place to eat and chill out and enjoy the Pier. The food is really worth any waiting. Plenty of seating. The Restrooms are close by. Probably close to the best food in town. Take a walk on the Pier and enjoy San Clemente at it's best.
The young man working there today, January 7, 2024 did an amazing job saving a little boys day... My son had seen the stuffed shark early in the morning and said he wanted it and me trying to teach a lesson about seeing all of our options before we choose something said let's see what else there is in town and if you still want the shark, we will come back... Hours went by as we explored the area waiting for our train back home and my son still wanted the shark so much that when I said let's go get it, he ran the length of the pair only to see that the shark was gone... His face dropped but he said, that's okay, I guess I can get the dolphin... The young man working said, there should be a shark and I told him it was gone, the young man working said hold on and came out of the back of the shack with a stuffed shark... This made my son's day and meant the world to him and me, because you saved our day... Thank you!
Love this place. Great prices, good food and the staff is super friendly. It's definitely worth walking to the end of the pier just to visit this place.
He was a really good host and it was the best burger I have ate in a long time. Will be returning and bringing friends
Very good food and very friendly employee. 100% recommended. And the views of the Pacific Ocean, beautiful.
Rented fishing gear. It was excellent service, reasonable prices, and fantastic experience!!! Great root bear floats too.
Awesome staff and very friendly. Food was great too! Definitely will be back soon.
What a life saver!!! This little shack has good snacks and food to calm your hunger while hanging at the pier.
It was hafl way down the pier and had some very nice things !! We stopped by to look at the wind chimes .

Good food, views, and a fun place to visit
The burger and fries are as good as it gets! The burger is seasoned and cooked perfectly and the grilled onions and bun maximize the flavors. The fries are thin cut and have old bay seasoning, so simple and so delicious. You may have to wait a few minutes for them to cook everything but it's worth the wait

Was there late Saturday morning, yesterday (12/9/17), it was closed —- looks permanent. Too bad! Nice to have something at the end of the pier....BUT WAIT! Business seems to be open again as of March 31, 2018 (Sat. at 3:30pm) Will update photos!! Well, I guess it’s open! I didn’t buy anything, or interact with anyone there. So I’m not able to give much of an opinion other than to show the business seems active. *** New photos 4/22/2019 Monday— in the morning.
I purchased a frozen lemonade expecting a drink. Instead I got a Minutemade push pop thing. It was hot so I didn’t turn it down but it was still a major disappointment.

The clams were amazing, loved looking onto the beach. But the service was horrible. The server Marissa was on her phone sitting at the bar the entire time we arrived at 9 o’clock and we were not informed that the kitchen closed at 9:30 so when we order our first bucket of clams, we’re going to order a second round When I asked to order the second round kitchen was closed. She never let us know that the kitchen was going to close or come around and say hey the kitchen is about to close. Would you like to order anything else so we got to miss out on another round of clams… we waited over 10 minutes just to pay. We had our card out to Pay and she was on her phone for over 10 minutes. Not paying attention at all. Not very happy

My wife and a friend went to the pier last night for a stroll. When they got to The Pier Grill and Tackle they stopped to see what food was available. The friend asked if the hotdogs were beef. The young man checked and said they were. They each chose to get a hotdog with onions. They then asked about drinks. The young man informed them that the soda fountain was not working. He said they had cans available. My wife asked the price of the canned sodas. The young man replied that they were $2.99 each. My wife turned and explained to her friend that the canned sodas were $2.99 which was more than the fountain drink would have been for a 24 ounce soda. She asked if her friend wanted to get a can. The young man looked at her and said you are being rude and the sign says I do not have to serve you if your rude, so I chose not to serve you. My wife asked him what she had done that was rude. He said it does not matter I am not going to serve you. Dumbfounded by his comment, she said she had not intended to be rude if that is what he perceived. He again replied that it did not matter because he was not going to serve her. I for one am glad I was not there. This young man should feel the same. His actions were unwarranted and he needs to be held accountable for what he did to these two ladies.
