People that "review" food are insufferable. Terminally on-line, these complainers think something is owed to them. Ignore the complainers that give less than 5 stars here. They are very wrong. This place has the best breakfast burrito, by far. The price is reasonable. Cheerful staff, fast service and great food.

Burritos are bomb! My coworker recommended and did not disappoint! Good price, meat, and size. Did I mention their salsa verde is out of this world! Never tasted anything like this- so good.

Updated 10/18/24: Been coming here for a while now. They have daily specials Mon-Fri and overall it's an above average Taco shop. They have everything from pizole, menudo to surf and turf burritos. My go to meal is the combo #1 which is the carne asada plate and a drink or the carne asada buenas dias breakfast burrito. Friday fish tacos for 2.99 is also good! Old review: I have only tried their shredded beef tacos and rolled tacos. Typical taco shop flavor so it's a go if you're in the area and want some Mexican food. The drive thru is open 24 hours so they're great for late night snacks.

The worst (carne asada) quesadilla I've ever had...from anywhere. Not only were they burnt, there's no cheese! Hubby said his carne asada burrito was fine so I'm giving 3 stars. But this makes two times in a row that I'm disappointed with Santana's (also the worse breakfast burrito ever). There won't be a third opportunity.

Food was ok. They're really nice people but the Cali burrito had way too many fries and too much overcooked meat. It would be different if the food was cheap but carnitas fries and a California burrito was almost $30! Sorry guys but next time I'll pass.

This place is a block from my house, but NEVER AGAIN! They consistently get orders wrong, overcharge, leave out items, and even lost my credit card once. They did apologize on finding it after insisting they'd returned it to me already. Last straw was when I spent over $15 for a burrito that the menu said came with a drink. They said no drink anymore. After pointing out what the menu said, I didn't care to argue further. I just won't go there again. If you do, doublecheck EVERYTHING!

Been going here for a while now, ever since they changed cashier she hasn't been good at all, she doesn't even speak English. The cook knows more English than her. I went back to get my burrito that she forgot even though she repeated my 3 burrito. When I went back she was mad at me for i don't know what the reason she was mad at me but I'm not coming back.

They made my mom cry when she tried to order a veggie burrito with 6 items like she's been ordering everytime we've come here the past 20 years. He insisted she could not have 2 extra toppings and was limited to 4. She has no problem paying for the extra 2 toppings and even asked if she's just not allowed to have 6 toppings or what because the girls working there always make it for her just charging extra and he said no she's limited to 4 toppings. So that was really weird, what company does not want the business of a customer who's willing to pay for extra burrito toppings

ordered a flan, and the menu clearly listed it at $3.75, but I was charged almost $7. When I asked about the difference, the staff was rude instead of explaining. The pricing didn’t match the menu, and the attitude left a bad impression.

$6.76 for one crusty carne asada taco. I asked for 3 salsas she said i can only have two. After i paid $2 for soggy and old pickled carrots. So $10 for one taco and u cant give me an extra salsa. This was the worst taco I have had in San Diego.

They removed the drink from the order and the price is almost $20 for the burrito alone. Unbelievable... There's plenty of other places around.

Over the past few weeks, orders have repeatedly been prepared incorrectly, showing a serious lack of attention in the kitchen. I returned multiple times thinking this was a temporary issue, but it was not. Based on my experience, it appears that the person working in the kitchen is not following even basic food handling and order accuracy standards. I am referring specifically to the kitchen employee working on Saturday, January 10th, 2026, around 7:00 PM. Burritos Santana should take immediate action to address this situation, as it directly affects food quality, customer trust, and safety. This business was known for consistency and good service, but at this moment the kitchen is not meeting minimum expectations. Losing a customer may not seem significant, but the disappointment caused by this decline in quality is real. I sincerely hope the company takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements.

Every single time I go here they get my order wrong the cashier barely understands English and she denied that she got our order wrong even though she said the order correct on the drive thru I went back to the window and told her and she gave me an attitude and sharking her head I don't know what this ladies problem is but she should understand how to take an order right
