This family has been putting in some serious work during covid, doing door pickup / door dash meals. They are open every day, try to stay open late, and just work none stop. For the other reviews... it’s Americanized Chinese food No Americanized Chinese place is amazing, but this families work ethic, and ability to weather this storm of covid, while providing my neighborhood with some food variety has been incredible.

Not sure where the negative reviews come from, this place was fantastic. I don’t do reviews much, but since this is the first time I had great Chinese food in SD I has to make it. The fried rice, the noodles, the black bean sauce, the soup, just amazing. Better then convoy, and I’ve had almost every Asian food there. For the price, the quality is can’t beat. I think I would have a good understanding as I have been to China many times, as well as family who makes authentic Chinese food. Well buy again

The food and staff were great, along with the portion sizes and price. I went there for a company farewell lunch, and the food that was ordered came out promptly and not too long after ordering. All was cooked well and hot as it arrived at our table, as well as delicious. I personally recommend asking for the chili oil. I found it a little spicy, but quite flavorful. I would definitely recommend the restaurant and come back again!

Most recently, I didn’t know the dishes came with rice and ordered extra on the side, and he went out of his way to call me and ask if I actually wanted all that rice (I didn’t!) and is always so so nice and friendly. They have great vegetarian dishes and always hit the spot.

Ordered the pork chop suey. Nice portion size. Rice was in separate container. Seasoned perfectly, tasted wonderful. Good Chinese comfort food. I could just drink a thermos of that broth!!

I really wanted to give this local spot a chance and support local business in my quest to find good, american-chinese cuisine (think Panda Express), but this is not it. The orange chicken was bland, the chicken breast with veggies had decent flavor but the texture reminded me of compressed meat (think hotdog...). Overall glad we gave it a chance, but we will continue our quest to find a comparable spot in flavor to Panda Express.

Last time I ordered it, it had a sauce that as about gravy in consistency and delicious. I may try it again because they used to be good, but probably not.

So I ordered General Tso’s chicken with Vegetables fried rice. I received chicken that was not General Tso’s with chicken fried rice. You can’t make this stuff up. I judge a Chinese restaurant by the quality of their pan fried noodles dish. This place was absolutely the worst that I have ever had. The noodles were half cooked and were just piled on top of some pieces of meat and broccoli with a couple of ounces of soy sauce underneath. Really, really bad. Do not eat here!!
