I took a friend here for her birthday, When we arrived, the staff let us know that they had just seated 2 parties - 23 people in one and 7 in the other. The Birthday girl had her heart set on Olive Garden so we decided to take our chances. To be honest it did take a little longer than it normally would to get our order taken and to have our drinks and salad brought out but forgot all about that. Once our entrees arrived they were fabulous. I had the lasagna she had the chicken fettuccine. They were perfect! We also took home a meal. I took home to fettuccine. She took home later on. We commented on how excellent the take-home meals were. It was a wonderful visit. They sang her happy birthday with the free dessert and we walked out feeling happy and fat! It was a wonderful visit.

This is our go to restaurant when we are in town. Came in 10min before close and the manager was kind enough to still seat us. Very appreciative. Thank you.

I've always had great experiences at this Olive Garden, so I was excited to place a pickup order for the first time—especially since they brought back a classic dish, Steak Gorgonzola. The dish looked great and was hot, but unfortunately, the taste was unbearable. It was as if an entire container of salt had been dumped in. I wish I were exaggerating, but it was completely inedible, and I had to throw it away. To make matters worse, I had driven over 15 minutes to pick it up, so taking it back wasn’t an easy option. I called to speak with a manager, but after being on hold for over four minutes, I gave up. I was really disappointed, not just with the food but also with the lack of customer service. I hope this was just a one-time mistake because I’ve always enjoyed dining here in the past. Update:Olive Garden addressed my concerns quickly and efficiently. I couldn't be happier with the customer service response. I ordered there again, and the food was delicious and made fresh. I will continue to return to this location based on their quick response and the experience I had afterward

This was my first time at an Olive Garden after being in this country for 5 years, and now I'm obsessed! The unlimited breadsticks and soup/salad can be so addictive. They can essentially be a meal of their own! I went here for lunch with 2 friends and we were all very extremely pleased with the entire experience. There was a 20 minute wait since it was lunch on a Sunday and they don't take reservations over the weekend, but we went for the open bar seating and got a booth there! People probably didn't know it was an option. For my side I chose the salad, since I wanted to cut down on the calories from the soup, and didn't want to fill myself up on the sides either. I got the light dressing for the salad (asked for it on the side), and the combination was really good! The pepperoncinis gave it a nice kick. That salad can be filling too! The breadsticks were of course delicious. So warm and buttery. I also asked for some minced garlic on the side, sliced the breadsticks and put some in. It was absolutely amazing, would 10/10 recommend. I ordered the Cheese Ravioli with no sauce (since I'm not a fan of any tomato-based sauce), and even asked to drop the mozzarella on the top. Instead, I smeared it with a little bit of butter and topped it with crushed red pepper flakes. This was the best meal I'd had out in a while! The filling inside the ravioli was heavenly and just the entire combination was perfection. Both my friends got the Chicken Gnocci Soup for their side, and one of them just filled herself up on the soup and breadsticks; and ended up taking her entire entrée to-go. She had ordered the Creamy Mushroom Ravioli, which she later said was delicious. The other friend got the Tour of Italy which had a Chicken Parmigiana, Lasagna, and Fettuccine Alfredo all in one plate. The chicken was cooked well and everything tasted great. Unfortunately he could only finish half of it. Turns out that soup really was filling! A shoutout to the server we had who was so accommodating to all my requests. I had actually forgotten to request for the salad dressing on the side, so she even took it back and brought me a new one when I asked for it, without seeming at all upset. Service was also really quick. We were barely done with our sides when the entrées rolled in. They also gave us to-go bags for the breadsticks we had left on the table, which I was surprised by, since not a lot of places let you take home the complementary items. Great experience overall, can't wait to go again.

Had a lovely meal with my sister and my 2 kids, staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious! We were just visiting San Diego and headed back on the 2 hour drive home only to discover I left my wallet at the restaurant. I phoned them and they immediately put it in the safe overnight to keep it safe and mailed it to me in North Carolina where I was flying to the next day. My cash and cards were all accounted for, and I am eternally grateful for their honest staff and support!

We were starving after the Sunset Cruise we just took. There were so many choices and we couldn't decide where to go. So we ended up at Olive Garden, knowing we would at least have decent food (since we've had Olive Garden many times before). This particular location was closing in 25 mins and they seated us right away. The food was good (although the shrimp scampi could have been a little bit more "scampier", if that makes sense lol). The bread sticks are always yummmmmmy especially with the Alfredo dipping sauce. Our server Dereka (sp?) was the BEST! She was very attentive, funny and gave us the best customer service. Definitely one of the best servers we have EVER had!! She deserves a gold star ⭐!

We ordered take out from this location and everything from ordering to picking up the food was seamless. They have more than a few spots in front of the restaurant to park and pick up your food. All you have to do is check in with your phone and someone will bring out your food to your car in one of the assigned parking spots. Very much appreciate this with the pandemic still ongoing and not wanting to eat inside. Other than that the food came out great and was delicious.

There was a large group 10+ that came in and we got seated within 15 min (Monday night around 8pm) in a separate dining room, which was perfect. Our servers were amazing & took great care of us. I believe their names were AJ & Matt? Breadsticks, salad, soups; all amazing but the service was where we really felt cared for. Checking in, taking empty plates, explaining things, and basically having a really fun vibe with a good banter. We appreciate people in this industry who can still give us energy at the end of a long day. We may just come back for AJ!

Was giving olive garden another chance - swore off them after a bad service and crappy meal like a few years ago. Decided to trudge thru it since my friend wanted to come here and I begrudgingly said yes. And damn. Hannah or server has single handedly won me back. She addressed my food allergy concerns helped me find the GF options on the menue ( they are not very easy to see) gave me plenty of time to decide my order and even ensured she'd be 100 certain I had a good meal. Everything tasted better than I remember but her kindness and knowledge of the menue is what did it. Please give her a RAISE!!! I'll be back again because of her.

It’s an Olive Garden, will always eat here when I need to. I only got cheese on my first soup, none thereafter, but that’s OK. I’m specifically writing this review for the hostess Elena, who is quite possibly the nicest and sweetest person I’ve ever encountered and she absolutely made my day better with our interaction.

It has been 28 years since my 1st visit back to San Diego California from Canada! This was the only restaurant brand I knew and could think of, so we chose to come here from our hotel the Harbor Island Hilton across town. It was worth the 35-minute wait for a Saturday night. Dominique our waiter was good too.

After an unfortunate hygene experience with Olive Garden (at the start of COVID-19) my family hasn't been back in over 4 years, even after being gifted a $500 gift card to the establishment. We are currently on vacation in San Diego, and our party of 8 is craving American Italian food so we're tempted to give Olive Garden a final opportunity to leave a better impression of food quality and cleanliness. The manager Enrique heard our concerns and took it as a personal challenge to ensure my families satisfaction and guaranteed us an enjoyable experience. Enrique put his best servers Dominic and Jenni on the task and the duo didn't miss a beat! They tag-teamed the the impromptu requests of endless soups and salads, breadsticks arrived without mention and all orders came out together, consistently and were beautifully presented. I can definitely say this team in particular turned my families inclination into an amazing experience. Thank you again

I ordered delivery online tonight and then once it was in progress, I realized I had messed up my order! When I called to try to fix it before the driver got there, the manager Amber and her team bent over backwards to fix my order immediately, and I didnt even have to wait any longer for my delivery. Everything was delicious and after the wonderful service I got, I look forward to dining in soon!

They took our name and the number of people with us, but it seems they forgot to call us or misplaced our name. After waiting about 40 minutes, we had to stand up and ask about our table. There a long waiting list when I go there on weekends (Sunday) with family. It took about 40-45 mins for waiting until we get the table. I did not like to wait so long. The service was ok, and food is more like American style Italian cuisine.

Service was great. Food was not that good as we remember it. The chicken gnocchi soup was sweet and watery instead of creamy and cheesy. The Alfredo fettuccine was dry and chewy, instead of saucy smooth and cheesy. The steak was tough, and Gorgonzola sauce in Alfredo fettuccine is a bad idea just made everything stinky and sour instead of creamy and cheesy. Food quality needs to improve some. Our server was amazingly polite and nice. He forgot to bring us salad refills and breadsticks refills though.

The sauce was separated and super oily when its a cream based sauce (?) and the ravioli was a bit overcooked. I didn't end up finishing it. Drinks were okay. Okay I’ve never been one to leave bad reviews , but what happened today really upset me. I came her with my one year today. Just to get out of the house. I was seat where I seen one server who was serving that section. No lie y'all. She looked at me a smile she didn’t smile back. I literally watched her walk over to another server who had a WHOLE ANOTHER SECTION and was telling him to take my table so she didn’t have to. I was shocked! I let the guy take my order and after that it was cool. But then it came time for me to get my box and everything so I could leave. The guy NEVER came back! The last time I went here the food was fine it was the service that was terrible. World's worst waitress. After we ordered our food, I had ordered some Alfredo dipping sauce to go with the breadsticks. She brought out a bowl of salad that had no salad dressing on it and she brought us exactly three breadsticks for two people. Along with the Alfredo dipping sauce. And then she never came back. So we ate the salad with no dressing. And we each had one and a half breadsticks and then we didn't get anymore because she wouldn't come back so we couldn't ask her for any. So I had a bowl of dipping sauce and no breadsticks. I had gotten the tour of Italy so I just poured my Alfredo dipping sauce onto my alfredo fettuccine. The salad and breadsticks are my favorite part. So it was very disappointing that we didn't get any salad dressing and we got only three breadsticks between the two of us. Someone else brought out our entree. The waitress literally never came back. We had to ask someone else for to-go boxes and we finally got her to bring us the check.

Came here Saturday night with my boyfriend I was craving Olive Garden for date night , our server was a female who didn’t really acknowledge me at all but only was friendly and nice to my boyfriend and offered him drinks & food first , as a woman it’s rude but I get it she knows the man is paying 😂 but if I had a bad experience he’s not tipping 😊 so I’d hope management can bring awareness to this server and let her know customer service goes for both of your customers. 6-2-25 we spent 20mins before someone acknowledged us and that was after we grabbed someones attention and asked if we had a server. Took like an hour before we got our food and our drinks came with out with our food. My husband's food took 10 minutes after the rest of us. And It was just spaghetti and meat balls. They forgot to give us plates for our salad we had to ask for cheese, twice. We eat at olive garden when we travel because normally they have some of the best service.

Yesterday I went to this Olive Garden at about noon and it was not busy at all. The waitress forgot two/5 drinks for our table. She brought the bread before bringing the small plates for it. We reminded her about the missing drinks and she only brought one of them. It took a second reminder to get the next drink which was a coffee. She placed it on the edge of the table and right next to my friends two year old daughter. The waitress appeared to have zero spacial awareness and zero knowledge on how to wait a table. The food came out and salad/calamari/bread were good. I ordered the steak Gorgonzola and the steak I received was not fresh. It previously frozen tasted horrible like old chuck steak. This happens when the food doesn’t thaw properly. The particular franchise restaurant represented the brand terribly. This franchise location is cooking previously frozen food. The previous steak medallions the menu boasted have been reduced to over salted chuck steak, not a ribeye or sirloin. The pasta was overcooked as well. Not al dented. A manager was walking asking if there were issues, truth be told if we would have told her on the spot costumers would have heard the complaints as well and we did not want to cause a scene or wait for new dishes since the two year old needed her nap. This particular restaurant has lost the charm that olive garden needs to represent to remain relevant.

It took them sooooo long for bread sticks and two waiters came by to take our orders so there was some confusion. Also we asked for extra bread sticks during the middle of our meals but it never came. This was our first three generation vacation to San Diego and our first meal all together. It was not good, no refills on our drinks and took a long time to get attention from the wait staff😭

I got really bad food poisoning from eating at this location last night, in particular I got the mushroom sauce and grilled chicken with gluten free rotini. As soon as I called to speak to manager nicely cuz I’m not a Karen I’m just trying to make them aware of the situation the tone in her voice changed when she said she was the manager. She took my information and said they would be in contact. I understand customer service is hard so I’m as nice as possible, going through the situation I’m in right now isn’t fun at all so I didn’t appreciate the defensive attitude when they got me sick. Over all though server was great and attentive, my partner didn’t get sick as he didn’t order what I did but the night staff kitchen team messed up big time. Just wanted to make everyone aware is all don’t ordered what I did cuz you can get sick or maybe just a one time either way be aware!

Felipe in Point Loma brought our salad but bread sticks came way later. Then came the food. I’ve never seen such a small piece of lasagne and chicken parmigiana! I ran out of water and asked for more, it never came (he never checked), we asked a busboy and he said he’d bring it and it didn’t come. I went to the bar for water but couldn’t get the bartender’s attention, asked the hostess, she was about to send me to someone else until I told her she was the 3rd person I was asking. The waiter never came back to the table. Completely abandoned us, didnt ask if we wanted dessert (we did), didn’t ask if we wanted the check, nothing. Didn’t bring us chocolates and say goodbye. We go to Olive Garden a lot and were surprised at all this.

I placed an online order, waited 25mins for them to bring out. My food was cold, my pasta had almost no sauce, my meatballs had no red sauce they were just dry, my bread sticks were cold and tasted as if they hadn’t been cooked all the way and my salad was brown and wilted. This by far was the worst Olive Garden experience I have had. I will say the manager was very polite when she brought my food out.

Went to Olive Garden today, Sunday evening. Restaurant was not very busy. We were seated promptly. Once seated we were not helped or greeted by a server for at least 10+ minutes to only find out our server was the person that kept passing by. We placed our order finally to then wait 37 minutes and still no soup, salad or food. My children were very hungry. I approached the manager who then had someone bring my kids their orders. My husband and I still waited for anything. Once food came- The spaghetti noodles were hard, soup cold. Manager did nothing to help compensate for anything. Horrible experience.

This is my 2nd time I am disappointed with my Pick Up Order. I ordered a side of meatballs last time, even though I put in the comments to bring me graded cheese I didn't get any nor silverware. Today I got thr cheese, & silverware but the meatballs were cold and dry, barely any sauce! I can microwave the balls but they were dry! I work 4 minutes away. And the only chocolate they gave me was smashed! It's not like it's a hot day. It's pretty cold outside. I was unhappy with the dry meatballs. It sucks. My lunch is over so couldn't go back to ask for the normal amount of sauce it usually comes with.

We were very excited to visit Olive Garden, and hadn’t been for a very long time so it was very much anticipated. After we got sat, a server had not touched our table for 15 minutes or more, so we thought we had to order through the tablets but we noticed 2 other tables who arrived after were getting service before us. This was the first turn off but didn’t immediately deter our excitement. We ordered the endless soup & salad, and the soup was cold, the salad lacked any flavor, abd the breadsticks were cold, stale, and hard. The service also continued to be very slooooooow, and was just downright bad. We were going to order entrees but decided not to after how bad everything was. I would not recommend this store to anyone, and would tell folks to travel further away to a different Olive Garden or go to any other Italian spot, pay more and have more fun elsewhere. If you wanna have Olive Garden go to another city or state, or Poway or Carlsbad.

My review is in no way a reflection of Brenda’s amazing customer service. So every thing was great until toward the end. I’m waiting for Brenda to come back so I can pay what I owe for my lunch. During this time a manager Asian woman comes out asked if I needed help to which I replied no. She went on to get her ice or whatever behind the bar. As she was walking back to the kitchen area she gave me the dirtiest look ever. I started to confront her but then I did want to ruin what was a really good dining experience. Leadership at this restaurant really needs to keep their people in line and professional. Once again Brenda was AWESOME!!!!!!

I had an extremely disappointing and disturbing experience at Olive Garden today. When my pasta arrived, I found a literal ball of hair tangled in the noodles—not just one strand, but what looked like 20+ short hairs all clumped together. It was disgusting, and especially concerning since we were dining with our 4-year-old. I worried he may have already eaten something contaminated. I immediately showed the waitress, who kindly got the manager. Unfortunately, the manager (older lady) seemed unfazed, starting the conversation with “Did we find something unpleasant in our food today?” and barely reacting when I showed her the fork of hairy pasta. She only offered to remake the food or add a dessert. By then, our appetite was completely gone, and I felt uneasy about any of the food being safe. When we declined, the waitress spoke to the manager again, and the manager decided to comp the meal and add a $50 gift card. While that gesture was appreciated, the manager never came back out to apologize personally or hand us the gift card—the waitress did. For something this serious, I expected genuine concern and accountability directly from management, not a dismissive attitude. The only positive part of this experience was our waitress, who was kind, supportive, and clearly on our side through it all. Sadly, the incident caught the attention of nearby diners, making it even more uncomfortable. This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Food safety should always come first, and the way management handled it left me with no trust in this location. Honestly, this situation is so unsanitary that I believe it warrants a health inspector’s investigation.
