Finally!! Northeast style Chinese food. Yes, it is Americanized...just the way I like it. Boneless ribs (they are actually made from broiled, marinated pork butt (shoulder)). Sooooo gooooddd!!!!!!! Delicious spicy stir-fried string beans and great wings! Fantastic customer service! They have a customer for life!

Best cheap lunch around. Selection is limited, seating is limited, but this is the cheapest lunch in the area by like $2-3. Like I'm not gonna tell you its like the best gourmet experience in san diego, but it gets the job done. More importantly in a town where every joint wants you to pay $15 for lunch these guys have the bravery to sell you lunch for $8-10. The dudes who run the joint are cool too.

Gratefully and truly love stopping at this location on my way home from daily routines; I had even WALTED in 40 minutes before opening and I believe the owner/chef allowed me to still AT LEAST purchase some soup since all of the food has not been prepped and cooked yet. ‘Twas perfect timing since I was thinking about solid food…but I was truly FEELING mushroom and egg soup half half lol. ❤️

Stopped in here today to give it a try, the overall rating they have of 3.7 was concerning but wanted to see for myself since they have Chinese spareribs on the menu and that's sometimes had to find in the area. Excellent! All the reviews that talked about the portion sizes were spot on! Good selection and very tasty for the 3 piece. Very similar to a Panda Express to be fair but their portions and price set them apart in a good way. And the purpose of me coming to this location, the spareribs - excellent! Did not disappoint. I have had Chinese food and spareribs in particular all across the U.S and I would rank these up there with the best. The cleanliness and friendliness of the staff was also noticeable and appreciated. I'm already looking forward to my return.

Real Chinese place. Food looked good and was delicious; large portions, no chintzing. Generous pricing (3 items + side dish + soup = $11.95!!). Got Orange chicken,Teriyaki chicken, fried rice, won ton soup, pork ribs (which many Chinese restaurants don't serve actually), ALL DELICIOUS. Staff was super friendly & accomodating. Definate recommend.

4/5... with a price being that low, you know what you’re expecting. In all honesty the food was pretty tasty, we ordered the family meal for 33.59, and plenty left over for a few more rounds. The fried rice and noodles are not bad, just bland. If you mix it up with your food or toss some sauce on it then problem solved. I have no issues and we will be ordering from here again. Also, the fried donuts... freshly made and warm. Yep I can eat those all day.

I only stopped here because I was next door and my toddler loves chow/lo mein so I decided to grab her some for dinner. I hadn't planned on getting anything for myself but I decided last minute that the chicken Kung Pao looked good. Man, I'm so glad I changed my mind. Most buffet style Chinese places make "spicy" dishes like this pretty bland in case some idiot doesn't know it's supposed to be spicy so I was pleasantly surprised that it actually had a bite to it. I still wouldn't call it spicy but I know my tolerance is much higher than most people and I just appreciated the small amount it had. The noodles are extremely bland but since I like the sauce from my dish so much it wasn't a big deal. I just mixed everything after my kid was done eating. Service was quick and friendly.

My husband and I are NYers, we order here food here very often, it taste really good. We order through grub hub so we have not met the employees. Our order never comes wrong and again the food taste really really good

Far and away the most authentic "New York style" Chinese food (yes, that's a real thing) that I had in the decade I lived in San Diego. Never once had an issue with their food, though the service could be better at times. Fairly inexpensive too, just like a NY Chinese restaurant should be.

"Seemed like a fairly safe haven from our storms. No hassles, no talk. Just a place to rest and regroup. I wasn't even hungry." You will not see kids screaming, or women yelling, no silly advertisements , no funny stuff to look at, that's why you will see mostly hungry dudes seated eating in silence, or just rushing in and out, get the spicy chicken is bomb

I was here last night. It was nice, clean and cozy place, the cashier was so friendly. I ordered plate with rice, mushroom chicken, chicken teriyaki, chicken wings and soup. It was good and fresh. Atmosphere is look like old but they are so fast and no waiting time. Price was reasonable. The only issue I saw was no service for bathroom. I asked cashier " may I use the bathroom? " she said bathroom is closed which is not acceptable for dine In. But generally it worth. I go with 4 star.

Staff is really nice and the food is plentiful. Some dishes are on the greasier side, but I'm ok supporting a mom and pop shop as long as they're nice. Plus, it's similar to Panda Express only you get tons more food for way better price.

For $12 not bad or I am just really hungry.

In the area and i felt like eating chinese food but i realized i always go to the same panda express nearby. Theres a nice chinese buffet nearby that i like but i dont feel like dealing with a buffet. I have seen this place a couple of times so i decide to look it up. Reviews are....pretty negative as you can see, with the common thread being their delivery sucks. Being someone who likes to judge for himself and also only having 7 bucks, i head over. Get half n half, despite the "fried rice" being bright orange. Orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, and coconut(or honey) shrimp. Well.... At least the Coca Cola was outstanding. The chow mein was bland and unenjoyable. Fried rice was ok but not great. Teriyaki chicken was decent enough but with a weird aftertaste. Orange chicken and shrimp were good but flavor was passing. Overall, i would still come here if i only had 7 bucks and wanted chinese and good canned soda.

Food was pretty dang greasy and not too flavorful. Came in because of the 11$ deal. Lowkey would go to waba or panda before I go here. Not the best. But at least it was a lot of food. Workers were nice. Not great atmosphere to eat. Everything seemed outdated. A lot of options were low and the worker seemed to rush me into a decision even though I was the only person in there- I get it, got to make sure people are in and out at a takeout place. The food was subpar, and would wish they would make the effort to make it more fresh and less greasy. The vegetables seemed kinda old and like they have been sitting around. Not a bad deal for the price if they improved their food quality a little bit.

Cheap but not good. Maybe go to panda express... but it's 10 dollars so that's good. Owner is nice too.

DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY!!!!!! Ordered delivery, 4 chicken dishes and 3 orders of egg rolls. They said it would be about 45 mins to an hour. That's understandable with having to cook everything. It's been over 1.5 hours. Called to see where our order is, and they said the food was on the way. It only takes about 10-15 mins to get from my place to there. They barely understand English and they are hard to understand on the phone. While I enjoy the food there, I will NEVER be getting food delivered from there again.

Both the hot and sour soup and chicken fried rice were horrible. The chicken fried rice was pretty much a box or rice with some little pieces of chicken sprinkled over it. Not to mention they don't allow the use of the restroom because of Covid, but the whole point of using it so someone could wash their hands cutting down on spreading germs/viruses

Came in about 7:30pm, ordered the 6.99 special with the soup. Egg drop was about gone and the lady filled the cup half way, it looked cold. I asked if they were going to make more and she said no because they're going to close at 8:30pm. So I asked for the wonton soup, in which I waited a few minutes while they finished preparing it. When I opened it, it had only 2 wontons in it. When I took it back to the counter, I saw they had put fresh egg drop soup, so I asked for that instead. The lady shouted to some one in the kitchen in their language then told me rudely she was asking the manager if it's ok to change it since I had "asked so many times". I told her it was my 2nd request and she said it was my 3rd and proceeded to argue with me about it. I told her I was a regular customer there and she shouldn't be so rude, but because of her rudeness they lost a customer. She continued to be loud so I took my order to go. The food ended up being cold and the chow mein tasted like spaghetti noodles with a bland flavor. I'm not sure how they get an A rating unless they're paying off the inspector. I do not recommend this place.save your money and go somewhere else!

If I could put 0 stars I would. I ordered for delivery and the man on the phone was BEYOND rude. When my food got to my apartment complex the delivery guy couldn't find my apartment, and it's not a complicated complex to figure out. I had to leave my apartment to go find him. The food was not good, nothing special. I ordered 2 different kinds of chicken and the two were EXACTLY the same except they threw some seeds on one of them. I will never waste my money or time at this place again.

Stumbled on this place while getting my sons food at another place in the same strip mall. I should have looked up reviews in advance. The food was awful! Everything was extremely bland. King Paolo chicken had no spice. Fried rice had an odd yellow color and no flavor. I was very disappointed. I don't live in town so never going there again will not be a problem.

Why do you announce online that it's open if it's CLOSED we drove all the way here.
