Dave’s Hot Chicken never disappoints! The hot chicken tenders are massive, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection every single time. The “Hot” level is my go to tons of heat but still delicious. The pickles and sauce take it to the next level. Great vibes, clean restaurant, and amazing food. Highly recommend!

This place never misses!! I’ve gone here a few times, I work right next door and the staff has always been lovely. Every time I come in, I’m always greeted with a friendly face As well as people working with urgency to make sure everyone gets their food in a timely manner. The Manager specifically, Angelo, is a fantastic person to interact with. He’s always been super helpful every time I come in, even before he recognized me as a repeat customer. As someone who only gets 30 minutes for lunch, this place has always been very punctual with my orders and I’m very grateful for it. It always felt like I was getting special treatment by strangers who never even knew me. Easily the best Dave’s Hot Chicken in Southern California

recently tried Dave’s Hot Chicken and I have to say, it did not disappoint. The first thing that hits you is the aroma—spicy, smoky, and absolutely mouth-watering. The chicken itself is perfectly cooked: juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside, and packed with flavor. I went for the medium spice, and it had just the right kick—enough to feel the heat without being overwhelming. The sides are solid too. The classic fries are crispy and seasoned well, and the mac & cheese is creamy and comforting. I also appreciate how quick and efficient the service was, even during a busy time. Overall, Dave’s Hot Chicken delivers exactly what it promises: bold, flavorful, perfectly fried chicken with a little heat. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the mood for a satisfying, spicy meal. I’d give it a 4.5/5—just a touch more consistency on the spice level, and it would be perfect.

The food is always fresh and comes out at a decent time. I recommend ordering ahead before you get there so when you actually do your food is ready. It’s usually busy most times so it’s hard to find any seating inside and outside. But the employees are polite and attentive. This is the best hot chicken!

This location of Dave’s always great! Ordered Number 1 spicy level hot with kale slaw. Their tenders are juicy and moist, Flavor is spot on. Kale slaw is yummy! The place is clean and the service by Kris and the guy who handed me the food are really friendly and gave good customer service. I will definitely come back and I recommend! :)

Love every bit of it! The service, while a bit slow at times, does reward you with great food and etiquette. I had a coupon I wanted to redeem, but the kiosk I was using wouldn't accept it. Thankfully the employee Roscoe, whom took my order, was able to redeem it for me. Such a nice guy. Definitely come here and get your money's worth.

I went to Dave’s Hot Chicken and honestly, it was amazing. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside while still juicy and tender inside. The seasoning had just the right kick—spicy, but not overwhelming, and packed with flavor. The sauce paired with it was creamy and balanced out the heat perfectly. Even the sides hit the spot; the fries were golden and crunchy, and the bread was soft and buttery. What stood out most was how fresh everything tasted. Every bite had that perfect combo of crunch, spice, and tenderness that makes you instantly want more. If you’re craving comfort food with serious flavor, Dave’s Hot Chicken definitely delivers. I left already thinking about when I’d come back again.

Wow! Perfectly fried, super tender and moist on the inside and crispy on the outside skinless chicken breast pieces that are way larger than anyone else’s chicken tenders. I can only hope that they one day would serve bone-on chicken WITH skin. Oh, their fries are delicious, too. Soft and tender with potato taste, but with a thin crispy crust on the outside. Yum! The restaurant is small, with most of the seats behind the building outside. My complaints are minor, and they are on the logistics: 1. The 2 ordering stations help, but at lunch time, 15 to 20 people can cram it to the point you can’t tell where the end of lines are. 2. If you order on-line, there’s no indication where you should go, and the only person at the counter was so overwhelmed she was not able to call anyone of the online orders even when they started to come out of the kitchen and start to pile up. 3. You can order tenders by the piece, but their website hides it all the way down inside the “Sides” section behind all the typical side orders like fries, slaws, etc. We ended up ordering two meals and couldn’t finish them.

This was our first time having Dave’s Hot Chicken and it did not disappoint. We got different things to try and different heat levels. I thought I had a high heat tolerance and Dave’s confirmed that was a lie. We got the Hot chicken slider and it had a strip on the side and we got that one in medium. The hot was HOT and I was second guessing my life choices. Did I keep picking it up and taking more bites? I sure did because apparently I hate myself 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ll pay for it later I’m sure. The medium was perfect but still spicy. My husband got the Lite mild and no spice and loved it. My daughter got the mini sliders with no spice and she loved them. The bread is really good as well as their fries. Their Mac and cheese is nothing crazy but it was thick and had good flavor. I wish we had one closer to home because this would be our new chicken spot. The pricing is pretty good for the amount of food you get. We ordered a chocolate shake and they forgot to give it to us so we had to go back. We should have realized it before we left so I’m not docking them for that. It was very busy and the food was ready on time. There is a bunch of parking right by the establishment. The place itself is very small, especially when busy.

The place was packed, which was a good sign. It took a little while to get our food, but it was well worth the wait. I tried the two slider meal. Don’t be confused by the word slider. These are decent sized sandwiches. I was stuffed. Food was great and I’m a big fan of the Dave’s sauce. The staff was very kind and working hard. Seating is very limited, but I think most people take their food to go.

When you first arrived, the atmosphere is amazing, music is playing, the street art compliments the building, and there are dining options both inside and outside. The food however, absolutely phenomenal. I personally chose a mild slider, with the kale slaw and a strawberry Oreo milkshake. It is one of the best places I've had in quite a while, and I highly recommend it to everyone. And I'll be returning very soon.

We ordered through uber eats. The delivery just took 10mins and the fries were soggy when it came. I ordered hot chicken sandwich but it wasn’t spicy at all, it’s actually pretty salty. The Kaleslaw was okay, a bit too pricy for the portion. I also ordered the mini chicken sandwich for my daughter and she liked it(this one is not as salty as the hot chicken sandwich). The Dave’s sauce is yummy & i love the extra pickles on the side. I asked for extra ketchup, honey and napkins and they just literally gave 2 pcs of ketchup & 2 pcs of honey. It’s not bad but it wouldn’t be my first choice if I crave for hot chicken sandwich.

The food is always amazing. The service is amazing for one person when there is a rush. More people should be there to assist. I guess it's a scheduling issue maybe? 21 or more people waiting on their food should be nonexistent especially if you have 2 online ordering systems that take customers orders. I had trouble using the order app in the store front since the app kept requesting more a tip. I finally went to the counter where staff were placing an order for a couple. The staff member left the counter, never acknowledging me. So, I left and had a nice meal elsewhere.
